This is absolutely the best place in Colorado Springs to learn the most effective form of self defense from an experienced, dedicated, and effective instructor. Before understanding and trying Krav Maga, I had practiced Judo, and all of my children have practiced years of Universal Kempo Karate. While both are great martial arts sports experiences in their own right, I have to honestly say that neither compares to Krav Maga for practical self-defense that can be used immediately upon leaving your first few classes. Krav Maga is not a sport, it is a focused contact combat self-defense. Upon further study of Krav Maga, reading books and watching demos online, I have also found that Instructor Doug Ericksen is unparalleled as an instructor in self-defense and Krav Maga. He brings his years of professional and street experiences to the classroom so that when students learn techniques we also get real-life understanding of how attacks happen, how threats are actually neutralized, and how both the attackers and those being attacked really behave under stress, along with experienced stories to back them up. This instructor has a great chemistry with his students and keeps things fun while seriously advancing our knowledge, tools, and techniques to survive a potential attack outside the classroom. He knows how to simplify what seems complicated so that muscle memory can take hold with primal effort. All of my life I have always wanted to learn a martial art so that I could defend myself if ever necessary, but nothing really clicked so that I felt confident until I began Krav Maga at this school. I think Im a Krav lifer now..... My only regret is that I didnt start myself and my kids sooner at this school. I highly recommend Peak Krav Maga to anyone seeking usable self-defense in a safe environment.

Had a Great Anti Active Shooter seminar a while back Taught by Marcus Torgerson! What a Phenomenal fun class to go to! If you want good training for real world applications this is your place!

Doug and Wayne truly care about their Krav Maga students and everything they teach is to help make everyone safer. Im amazed at how much Ive grown from taking classes here. If you want to learn how to defend yourself in our ever crazy world, these guys will take you under their wing and push you to realize what youre capable of.

Peak Krav Maga! I use to be extremely supportive of your business. Until I walk upstairs and overheard an employee state, Just like Black Lives Matter. Now thats not the bad thing, but once she saw me and noticed her tone she stopped talking. She asked me, Are you with cheerleaders? I replied, Im with Black Lives Matter. She stated you better not be. I asked why because Im black. Her, no because I dont want you killing the cops. WHOA! This employee doesnt know me from Adam, doesnt know I provide a great living for my blended family and that I raise two white kids. Peak Krav Maga! You have just shown your true colors.

The staff and classes are excellent. The Women’s self defense classes are very informative and helpful. Definitely a confidence booster. Thank you.

There is comment about an incident with a gentleman talking about an incident regarding a comment made by a staff member at the time. This is a one sided comment that was blown way out of proportion. I personally interview all the people outside and inside the building comments were made by both parties that instigated the incident it is funny how this person was asked to come in and talk to me in person or meet for a beer and refused. The comments by both parties were wrong and instigated each other. all the people I interview gave the same story and there are from all walks of life, race, gender, they are just normal people. Funny how one person can make a false claim and people jump on it. You judge me for an incident you were involved in and like your comment You know nothing about me or the man I am!

Took krav at other places by far the best in realism and technique
