Great clean place to train with fantastic coaches. They will welcome you in as part of their family and teach you right. He prepared me well and I loved his style and training method. Work took me away but given the chance I will come right back.
Best place that have trained at when I visit Colorado Springs!
Came to Colorado Springs during Spring Break 15 and went to this school to keep my training going. The instructors are great and super helpful. The other students made me feel welcome right away and not once did I feel like an outsider even though I was one. I had a really great time training, learning new drills and techniques and of course sparring. I had one-on-one time with the instructor which was really wonderful of him.The only downside is that there arent many girls but dont let that stop you from coming to try it out. Like I said, the guys are all super nice and very easy to train with. The school really wants more girls and are even pushing for it by making tuition for females $25+ cheaper. So what are you waiting for? Go to Colorado Springs BJJ and be ready to learn the most useful and amazing martial art out there.
Bill is a world class instructor. There are also some awesome students there that have a ton of knowledge to share and train with. The offer a lot of classes to choose from for kids, adults, men and women.
Ive been practicing Brazilian jiu jitsu for a few years now and I have to say this is one of the best gyms Ive visited and trained at. Professor bill is extremely welcoming to new students and provides a great relaxed atmosphere for both beginners and experienced practitioners. I know I was only visiting for a few weeks but I definitely plan on returning to train here sometime in the future.
I like the size of the groups to roll with. The instructor encourages students who are ready to compete and I went with their group for my first competition and had a great time. Nice beginners gym and very clean which is always appreciated.
I wanted to say thank you for letting me come and train while I was in town on a business trip. I got to learn some good technique, with good partners. I had a nice time all around and plan on stopping back next time I am in town. Thank you for your hospitality!
Excellent place. This place is CLEAN. Bill has a very good systematic structure to his teaching, training, drills and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. There are also a wide variety of people with different styles to grapple. Bill and others there are always helping with your weaknesses and have good points to improve your Jiu Jitsu. I have been to several MMA fight gyms and Jiu Jitsu schools here, other states and out of country. This place is one of the best.
Great Place to train! Professor was very kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend to everyone to train here. Thanks for the tough rolls. OSS
Have to say Colorado Springs Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is the most hospitable and technical school in Colorado. We travel all over the country sampling different schools and Bill Hosken teaches what works. Thank you for the amazing instruction and we will be back as soon as possible!
Tight knit crew with a family feel, and some solid technique. People were very polite and welcoming to me on my first night of training. I would not settle on a place to train with out attending a class here first!
Decent gym but zero discipline and far too relaxed. If you really want to step up your bjj game find a different gym. Pay on cash, they like to be sneaky with their automatic billing
Out of the many jiu-jitsu places that I have visited and trained at across the nation, none compare to the service and technical skill that Bill Hosken provided at his place. He was very warm and welcoming and I really appreciated the help, advice, and many great stories that he provided while on a trip for a Judo tournament in Colorado Springs. He even came and watched the Judo tournament that was held at the Olympic Training Center! Bill Hosken is a great guy and great overall person that Im glad I came across on my trip. I personally recommend his place over any other if youre looking to train BJJ.
My son & I train at Clinch Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Owasso, Oklahoma. We were on vacation in Colorado Springs and my son wanted to train so we looked around and found this place and Im very glad we did. Bill Hosken is a great instructor and a really nice guy. Gym was clean and the students had a lot of knowledge thanks to Mr. Hosken. We will be back.
I couldnt find a better place in CO. Simply great.
Our boys have been learning krav-maga and judo here and totally have a blast doing it! Great staff more than reasonable pricing and small class sizes!
Flew into Denver for business and thought Id sneak in a BJJ class in Colorado Springs. Glad I did!I scheduled a private lesson before classes with Professor Hosken and was not disappointed. The gym was clean, he was on time, and he even arranged for another student to join us as my practice partner. Very professional.Prof. Hosken was generous with his time, his information was top notch, and the vibe of the school was friendly and welcoming. Overall, a great experience.
Professor Hosken is OUTSTANDING!!!! Really knows what he is talking about. Never shows something that wont work. The CSBJJ family is close and will never let you skip corners. If your in Springs long term or just passing by...GO TRAIN AT COLORADO SPRINGS BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU
This is best place in Colorado Springs to train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I would recommend this gym to anyone, whether youre new to BJJ or experienced. The students and teachers are so nice and accepting, and they really take the time to make sure that you are individually progressing. The owner, Bill Hosken, is a legit Rigan Machado black belt and regularly invites other top notch coaches to hold seminars at the gym. Tyler Larsen (another CSBJJ instructor) is a world champion and a very patient teacher. Big Jeff is an absolute gold mine of martial arts knowledge, and youd be searching for a long time to find such a complete martial artist in Colorado Springs. One very important factor in choosing a gym is cleanliness. This gym is BY FAR the cleanest in town, and Id go as far to say the cleanest gym Ive ever trained at.Lastly, this gym is very affordable. Much better pricing than other gyms in the area, and the value of the environment and people are easily worth twice the price of a months tuition.Five Stars. I highly recommended for any martial artist to check out
Im somewhat new to BJJ, but have practiced Aikido for 20 years.I travel a lot in my work and always try to visit a dojo to train when Im out of town.Bill returned my call immediately and welcomed me with open arms. The same can not be said of another dojo in town. The dojo, mat and the dogi of the members were clean. No dirt, no smell. The members were very helpful and rolled at a level appropriate to my skill level, age and enthusiasm. When I return to The Springs, I will train there again. Perhaps I can give Hell Sloth a better run for his money. ;) ...
Bill is the man! Super clean and professional environment.
Great, clean, causal school. ❤️
