The Company A Visual Landscaper owned by Tharen Hopke does incompetent work and is a price gouger. I asked for his services in building a water feature; I showed him pictures of what I wanted but despite the pictures and numerous objections he insisted on building what he wanted.After $8,000.00 and a pond less than 25% complete I cancelled the project due to his incompetency and dishonesty.I paid him what he asked and I asked for receipts for the products/material so that I could return them. He agreed and has now recently decided to not give me the receipts.He claims that the ponds that are shown on the ABC landscaping are his work and directed me to their website. After speaking with the owner of ABC Landscaping, the ponds are in fact not his work at all but that wouldnt stop him from claiming credit where no credit is due. Tharen will tell you that he left ABC landscaping when in fact he was fired.Do not trust this person in any way shape or form; you will get ripped off.
