No show! I was given a sun up til sun down time frame and someone had to be here when they arrived. Completely ruined my day. My first and only experience with this company because this is extremely unprofessional.

The first team we had was great, they did consistent work for a couple months. Then no show 2 times. Switched to a new team, never showed up. Time to find a new company!Follow up: I would love to contact you; I will be reaching out soon. My husband informed me that he received a response stating that they did not have any available teams in our area. They should have notified us of this a week and a half ago, when the original team stopped showing up.2nd Follow up 7/21: Katherine did reach out via email 2 days after my first email. At that point we had already found a new company that weeded for free. She stated that she reached out to whatever teams were in my area and offered extra money but no one was able to fit us in. Ultimately, the poor communication and time management deserves a low rating, but I do appreciate her reaching out, so I have updated to a 2 star review instead of 1.Hope others have a better experience.

The crew never showed up and they billed me $48 for service they did not do. The first time they came, they only did half the job. I had to have them come back to mow the back yard. On the next scheduled appointment, they never showed. I messaged the crew and they said they were on their way. 3 to 4 days later i was still waiting and they were still saying that they were on their way. I went on their site and cancelled my service and said I was going to hire someone else. I ended up mowing my own front and back lawn then they billed me $48 for something they did not do. I would NOT recommend this company.

Called to start lawn service on a Monday. The lady assured me theyd mow by Thursday. They never showed. I called late afternoon to ask where they were and was told it would be Thurs or Fri, which is not what their staff told me. I said to do it Friday then but I would be out of town and I couldnt show them my neighbors boundry but I figured it wouldnt be hard to decipher. I came back on a Sunday and it wasnt done. No call, no notification until the following Monday. Heres what they said: We’ve worked hard to reach out to as many providers in your area as possible. Sadly, the demand in your area is high and we do not have anyone available to take you on as a customer at this time. - You cant count on LawnStarter. Im shocked they have a high rating - that has to be manipulated by them (fraud)

This company no showed twice. The first time I inquired if it was weather (it’s been raining for weeks) and then he wrote back that he was gonna come over the weekend but I told him to enjoy the weekend cause work life balance is very important to me in my career. He told me I was his favorite customer. What a joke. Second time I was no showed I was away for the 4th of July weekend and got an email that they cancelled my service because of the area I am in and the demand there is. I wouldn’t use this company if they had more services in my area. Not a very trusting set up.

Have weekly mowing service. Last week 1 solar lawn stake cut in half. Reported it. No mitigation. This week, 2 solar lights broken by his weed whacker. Left the back gate wide open on his way out. Time to find a new service.

We hired this company to come mow on two very specific days. On the first day we scheduled them to come, they arrived and told us they would not be mowing because the lawn didn’t need it. We did not hire them for their opinion of the lawn, we hired them to come mow the lawn while we were away. This was very frustrating (not to mention extremely unprofessional) so we cancelled the second appointment. I would not suggest using this company if you’re looking for someone to depend on.

Apparently, they are not taking new customers. But they pretend like they are, and will mess things up.Hired them, but they didnt do anything. Worse yet, they blew off a scheduled appointment that I took the day off for. In the app, I saw they had rescheduled the day, which was a little frustrating. But then they blew that off too. Finally, they deleted my account without anything but an email.

Even though we ended up going with a different company, LawnStater was easy to setup for day/time, their website and mobile app is user friendly, and their customer service is very friendly

Signed up with this company 12 days ago. My yard has still yet to be touched. They came out to my yard a day after signing up and said that it would cost more for the work needed to be done. They did warn me this could happen. They rescheduled me for a day later. They didn’t show up and I didn’t hear anything from them. They then rescheduled me for Wednesday of the next week. Due to me going out out of town that week I asked if they could do Monday or Tuesday. They said they could do that. Again those days pass and my yard was not done and with no communication. Four different rescheduled dates later and my yard still isn’t done. Absolutely horrible company with terrible communication and customer service. I definitely recommend taking your business somewhere else.

Absolute best. Came thru and cleaned up my yard he was so nice I would def call him again.

Booked an appointment last week. I was scheduled twice by the company due to weather and or equipment. On the scheduled day, no one texted, call or showed - a complete no show. So far, Im not showing that I have been billed.

Going on 2 weeks now with nobody showing up even tho they told me they would arrive Saturday and didnt, cant even get ahold of anybody in office. I do not recommend this company I will be going somewhere else

Dustin and crew are doing a great job. Since they started doing my yard it has gotten prettier and better prettier. I have the best looking yard on the block. They are consistent about when they show up and always close the back gate, so the puppy doesn’t get out. Thanks guys!

I wanted to cancel my service before they came out and they have had me on hold for 17 min and counting.

NONstarter, I would suggest that you google lawnstarter complaints before you give them a try - the problems Im having are common.Unfortunately they left work undone and I am unable to get a call back from them - they charged me $67 anyway with out any discussion for my first supposedly discounted service. I received emails from at least 5 different customer service agents who apparently dont read what you send and are unable to fix the problem. They already have your card number so if you arent satisfied too bad. Really disappointing. I was excited to have this service but not anymore. As soon as you sign up they will start sending you an offer for a $20 discount if you rate them even before they show up. They give you a two day window and no specific time for when they are coming and dont read your notes. I asked for a call so I could put my dogs up and gave specific directions on the work needing done. Less than an hour went by and I started getting texts for how does your lawn look. They were gone before I could go have a look.

No show two appointments in a row. I made a new motto for you guys.

Services were canceled and rescheduled 6 times with no communication unless I reached out multiple times. Very unprofessional.

They mowed my lawn one time & then after that, they stated they could not find anyone to mow my lawn. I gave them multiple chances before I cancelled. If you have problems or questions, there is no phone number to call. Emails are canned responses.

This is the best lawn care company that I have ever used. Jesus really takes his time and takes care of all of the details, mowing, edging and trimming all around the flower beds. The communications with LawnStarter are also way above average. On the phone they explain the service very well, they send email reminders and they have an excellent phone app that I can check any time to see when my next service is scheduled. Overall I would highly recommend LawnStarter Care Service to anyone who is just tired of doing it themselves or anyone who is currently receiving anything less than excellent service.

This was super awesome, im getting ready to have a baby and doing the yard got really hard, they took the time to do everything I asked for!!! They were nice and calm double checked with me it was awesome!!

They are a great service. Super helpful

Best part of the service is that it is set and forget. You dont have to be home, they come one of two days and your yard is just done. Really a great idea for those of us that cant stand doing yard work.
