Chill place. Great equipment. I love the pool area too! You can come in, do your workouts, and Noone will bother you!
Solid gym and plenty of equipment. If you can get in before 8:30am you’re not competing with anyone for weights or machines.A heads up for any parents out there, their photos still display the “Kid Zone” which was the daycare. That’s not a thing anymore.
Amazing culture and great people. Always friendly and always welcoming. Every machine you could possibly need. Highly highly recommend!! ✊
Its a gym, could be better, could be worse they have all the usual stuff and a few specialized items for those looking to compete. The employees are good.As with anything in the Springs expect a lot of older people and soldiers the ones that come here are usually air force, but during the busy times youll see a nice mix.Honestly I wouldnt use the steam room unless youre hoping to get sick as Ive watched multiple people spit into the drain or just on the floor when they miss or dont care. The dry sauna is almost as bad as it spends most of its time at near capacity and people seem to forget the concept of personal space. As a person actually trying to lose real weight instead of the few extra pounds they have all the equipment youll need you just need to find the motivation to use it.My only real personal gripe is that the owner was cheap on the plumbing only one stall in the mens room and the water pressure is low to non-existent in the shower room.
It’s the best work out you get get going. The pool, Steam Room, Sauna, weight room in many sections, what more can you ask for? It’s not crowded and not full of people who make you feel low about yourself.
Amazing atmosphere and the gym has so much space! Very happy to be a member here!
I cant say enough good things about this fitness chain. They have machines and stations for every body part not to mention free weights, basketball courts, yoga, and my favorite, a swimming pool for laps. They removed the stationary bikes from the spinning room, but that will probably return post pandemic.Being a member I can use any 24-Hour Fitness facility in the nation and have done so in 3 different states (for no extra cost).
Someone said this place is clean... hahahaha. It is NOT clean at all.. the mens room usually smells like poop in the locker area, yet fresher in the actual bathroom area, which makes no sense. The showers have mold everywhere. Have obviously not been cleaned in a very very very long time. Its the equivalent of what a teenager considers to be clean, if that..
Friendly, positive staff! Great equipment, sunny (east-facing) and always the perfect temperature. I want to commend all the staff and the manager Robert for being so fabulous. Robert is an outstanding manager and has hired great friendly people. They alway asks how are you in a caring and professional manner. When my club on north Academy closed, I was sad to have to drive 4 miles more, but now I am glad! This club has a great feeling, and I even tried new machines. I want to commend the entire staff and team, but I also know how the manager sets the tone. This club sounds beautiful!
A very nice, well kept, gym with nice, polite, & helpful staff. My only complaint is fellow members who choose to camp out on machines when they are not using them. If youre not using the equipment, then get off of the equipment, so others may use it. The equipment is not a lounge chair.
Since the reopening of the gym there are very few classes. It was announced that they were bringing back pop pilates. So I came in and was told that it was not happening after all. Castle Rock just added 19 more classes, but they have not added any to Colorado Springs. No one has any idea of when they will be adding any classes. Currently there are about 10 classes between both COS locations. Disappointed in lack of care for adding classes in COS.
Great staff, clean and not too busy... no waiting for machines.
Thats a long time member of 24 hour fitness I can say that this is the top of the line fitness facility in Colorado Springs.
I ain’t got no issues...ever since working there back in the day...and since it’s free99...ha...just sayin... (JOKES) but to be honest great place...n my eyez...)
Well done for providing a clean club during this time. Special shout out to Mike for the hospitality!
Well equiped Gym with very helpful staff. Fully loaded with basketball court, pool, sauna, cardio equipment and plenty of weights.
Friendly, helpful staff. Good classes. Careful Covid protocol.
I have been going to this gym for years and have enjoyed it overall. However, with this whole mask situation. If you are going to require masks, THEN MAKE EVERYONE WEAR A MASK. Trainers would walk by people not wearing them and not say anything. So why even state that you need to wear one if its not enforced. Just ridiculous.
Canceled my membership 8 months ago and got a surprise charge for $82 this month. Called to dispute it and was told by the manager Mike that he couldn’t do anything about it since it was already pulled from my account. He was very rude about the whole situation and when I asked for a customer service number I was told I can get it off the website. Mike is the sole reason I will never go back to this gym.
My first time here since Covid. They have touchless check in now, and the club was fairly empty when I went at 8 in the evening. Social distancing standards are being uphelp as well as mask enforcement.
Great place to work.
How is it called 24 hour fitness when they are not open 24 hours that should be your First red flag
I would just like to thank McKenna and Michael for their great customer service. They are extremely patient and in my opinion deserve a raise or something. I was having a bad day before coming in and I wasnt in the greatest moods but their great customer service and patience definitely helped make my day much better. They took care of everything to include my slight attitude. I wasnt purposely being rude or disrespectful or anything like that but I was definitely not the happiest individual at the time but they did not make a big deal about it and took care of what I needed taken care of. Thank you again.
This gym is fantastic. All the equipment you need, fantastic staff, and fantastic regulars. Its a hard place to beat
Great staff. Good gym equipment.
Good at making sure people wear masks and cleaning. Cant wait till theyre 24 hours again.
Cleam, social distancing adhered to. Staff was quite friendly and careful about attendance.I was impressed...
Me and my wife wanted to try this gym out because it was closer to our house than driving all the way to a military base to use their facilities, anyways the rude lady at the front desk said that she can’t validate our 3 day pass and that if we wanted to use the facility we have to get a membership. Now I rather drive to a base than paying for a membership without knowing if we are going to like it
I have been a 24 hour fitness member for 15 years now and have never missed a payment. I went into this location on a Sunday morning my sister was in town visiting, she lives in a mountain town where there is no 24 hour being offered and they still charged her $20 just to spend one hour on the treadmill. I understand this may be policy but this is not how you treat somebody who is a loyal customer, especially when there are lots of other options and gyms that would be more accommodating. On top of that the girl working the counter was pretty rude and really didnt seem to care if w stayed or left. I have an all club pass and I will say that some locations are better than others, I would probably stay away from this location.
Decent equipment but why am I paying more for this membership then I do for a gym with good hours? This place is open 5am to 9pm and Crunch is open 5am to 11pm Monday thru Friday then Saturday I believe is 5am to 9pm then Sunday 5am to 7pm I love this gym but it makes me want to quit this gym due to hours my hours of work dont always fit to make it to 24hr. As well this is a military town dont you think the soldiers have odd hours and may like to be able to lift...
There is a certain young personal trainer during the day that is really awesome i dont know her name but am pretty impressed by her work ethic. She does wear a shirt that says master trainer. Just let her know keep up the good work. I like this gym no real complaints .
Had to schedule an appointment. Wasnt too bad, less busy than before the Corona which was nice, the staff was friendly and seemed happy to be be open again. I saw some disturbing content from the company itself supporting violent organizations which makes me want to break ties, which is sad. Ive been going there for about 4 years
Wonderful gym! No reservations needed open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. everyday! Great customer service from the girls up front!😃👍
They keep raising the rates. Why dont they spend some of this money on repairs? Some of the tiles in the locker room are coming off the floor. A couple of shower curtains are gone. They really need to remodel the whole area. I try not to touch anything. I like the pool, but somehow, I often get a bad cold when I go swimming. I keep my membership because the senior fitness classes at the North Academy gym are really great!
I ended my membership recently, and I’ve been hit with unending fees since. I’ve called in like 10 times asking for them to remove the fees that I cancelled and the people at the front desk apparently can do anything and there’s one elusive manager who has control over everything who doesn’t want to cancel my membership or give me my money back. DONT JOIN IT. It’ll cost you hundreds for a month.
Always have a good time when I am at 24hr fitness, they are really nice and will help you with anything. the mood is really chill I love that.
BANKRUPTCY! 24 hour fitness has filed for bankruptcy. That means no refunds will be given to you unless vetted through court. I tried to cancel my membership since they used Covid as an excuse to cut hours, services, and facilities. Turns out you cant get refunds. Dont join this gym, its a scam at this point.
They are not enforcing masks at all. Even their employees are not covering wearing their masks properly or covering their noses. Their lack of precautions has turned this from a friendly neighborhood gym to somewhere I’m hesitant to visit. Do not expect even basic precautions to be in place.
This is my gym. Absolutely love it and I’m going to miss it when I move to Georgia. The staff is always friendly and amazing, always engaging the gym members and the personal trainers are awesome, I used Brandon for 3 months to get my power lifting goals and not only did I reach that goal I surpassed them a month before I even wanted to attempt the 1,000 pound club. The price is also decent. I would and have recommended this gym a few times to people and I will keep doing it.
Employees said due to COVID, only members are allowed in the gym. Got turned away at the front desk
Staff was very helpful fixing my account due to a weird issue with the app check in feature.
The people who go here dont have gym courtesy, weights left all over the place, not whipping down machines, people try to jump on to your machine during the middle of your sets. Was trying to get my daily workout in before work when the cleaning lady decided she wanted to dust the cable machine I was currently using and knocked dust everywhere making it hard to breathe during my workout. They should really clean this place at night instead of the middle of the day when its packed. The staff is alright and thats the only reason Im giving it two stars
They are finally opened up the wet area only sauna and whirlpool no steam room yet
Person at the front desk was rude and unhelpful and the equipment needs an update. A lot of the bikes are in terrible disrepair. There was a tall, heavy man walking around making sure everyone was wearing a mask.
This is more like 3.5 stars, but since its not an option, I will give the benefit of the doubt and round up. I thought a about getting a membership here, but I cancelled within a couple days. The people at the center were nice for the most part, and the GM was very polite and professional. The facilities were very nice and clean. However, there are reasons I am canceling the membership. One reason is that they were pushing me to have a personal trainer. That in itself is not bad, but I have social anxiety and this isnt the best approach for me because having a trainer makes me easily flustered. The issue I had was that it seemed like my trainer was interrogating me when he was getting to know me. I did not get any say in what type of trainer i would like. On top of the annual fee and monthly fee, they were trying to charge me $200.00 for the personal trainer. The personal trainer was not something I really wanted in the first place, but I understand they have good intentions. Overall it is a nice place to work out, but the high prices and micromanaging trainer (he even seemed to micromanage while we were just talking) made me decide that it wasnt worth the membership. Nice staff and facilities overall, but this wasnt for me. It looks like a nice place for others though and I appreciated them having me for a few days.
When I first did a walk-through in the gym I asked for two things: punching bag and swimming pool. I saw they got both and I joined the club then couple of weeks later they took the bag away and that was a bummer. I did not finding the swimming pool area very clean either, often times I was swimming there I saw particles swimming with me. So I wanted to get out. But having a contract for one year they refused it. Obviously customers dissatisfaction is not enough excuse to break the contract. Money is more important for these people. These are the cons. As for the pros: It has lots of space to work out, the staff is usually very polite -even though you might see some occasional characters at the reception greeting you with whats up? instead of how can I help you sir? :-)The machines are plenty, there are soft core and hardcore sections, there is a spinning room there is a basketball court and plenty of cardio machines to work out. For all these, the price is not bad at all but make sure you join and test it for a month or two or you may end up stuck with them for the whole year like I did. They are only closed at Christmas or on very extreme situations I guess, yes its 24 hours.
Im 52, and this is my first time joining a gym. Parker showed me how to use the equipment and set up a routine for me that Ill be able to follow on my own. He cheerfully fielded all of my I-Cant statements with compassion and positive encouragement. Thanks Parker! So far I am pleased with the atmosphere of this place. My first day was Sunday, and it wasnt crowded.
I personally like more of a traditional gym feel, old school if you will, but honestly you cant beat this place for the price.
Do not get scammed by this company! I was told my membership was cancelled and they stole over $100 of my money. I didnt go for 3 months because I thought my membership was cancelled and I didnt check my credit card statement because I trusted them. When I realized what happened I called corporate and they said a local manager would call me. I called corporate twice because both times I never heard back and they kept me on hold for a very long time. I am a very busy mother that didnt have time to be on hold multiple times so I never got a refund. They even saw that I had not been to the gym for three months so it was obvious I wasnt making a story up. The integrity of 24 hour fitness is lacking and I would suggest to not support such a shady business.
The staff is friendly, and when you walk in and see the GM (Andy) vacuuming the floor, it goes to show he is leading by example. There are plenty of free weights, benches, bars and space. You can always find a place to train, even when its busy. I love the people and the atmosphere.
3 friends and I went to the 24 on Austin bluffs and Academy to take advantage of a group promo discount. They managed to mismatch everyones names, emails, and phone numbers and method of payments in a way I couldnt imagine as being reasonably possible.Attempts to correct these issues really highlighted how comically incompetent the staff was. Youd think a gym employee would have 2 primary functions:1. Maintain gym.2. Handle admin on accounts. When it came to dealing with staff in any other manner than signing into the gym they were woefully unprepared. The staff displayed low acuity and low mental dexterity in all face to face encounters. An automated payment method we demanded be removed from the account debited well after the fact. The charge had to be disputed then refunded. As a result we cancelled our accounts via phone customer service. They were efficient, at least. The facility was mostly great. Too few benches but thats sort of normal anywhere. If you did 1 person per account and only ever requested the most basic things concerning your account Im sure you would be ok.As a personal choice I cannot give $ to a place with such low hiring standards.
At my age 24hr Fitness has been my lifesaver. Great gym. Great staff and great people. Thank you.
Henry and Annena were incredibly helpful during the sign up process. Enthusiastic about their job and great representatives for 24 hour fitness!
Would have gave five stars but there is a few things that can be cleaned. More than often you have to wait to use some of the equipment. There is also disrespectful meat heads everywhere here who need to learn how to act in public, but other than those few problems. This gym is awesome. Twice as much equipment as disgusting unprofessional planet fitness, and the staff here presents a professional gym employee demeanor. I enjoy working out at this gym and will continue to for years to come.
I absolutely love the environment here. Every single staff member is kind and respectful. The manager took care of my boyfriend and I starting up memberships here. We took a tour, he explained everything in incredible detail. I was so so impressed at the amount of respect I received and the understanding and information I got. Will continue to go here for a long time.
I have been going here for over a year but its gone so far down hill. Staff doesnt even acknowledged you when you say hello upon entering or have a good day after leaving. The personal trainers there will just leave there weight on the bar or whatever equipment they are using. I have also been there while 1 person was getting trained and they were using 5 different machines at once. they place cards down on them saying dont use because a personal trainer is using them. The weights are always all over the place not in order and the equipment is never cleaned off by staff. I have no idea how the sauna, pool, or hot tube are because I am too afraid to get some types of staff infection.
Great staff and always a great environment. I was a member there for over 3 years and never had any complaints. There are plenty of machines, pieces of equipment for different styles of workouts and the area was always clean. By far my favorite gym in the area for their price.
I love the 24Hour Fitness club at Austin Bluffs and Academy. Its smaller than the other locations, but brighter. More natural sunlight and maybe better lighting. Because to me, the North and South locations are just darker inside. Especially the wet areas. The sauna, pool, and steam room are way darker at the North and South locations. At the Austin Bluffs and Academy location its super brite! Also the staff is great! They are always super nice and they always greet you with a smile and a hello. Which is really important to me. Peace.
Often times I’ll work out in the morning and see the General Manager sweeping and cleaning the place. In other words, taking care of the little things and leading by example. He along with his staff are friendly and great. When I saw the GM sweeping and cleaning day after day, I knew he really cared about his gym and his members and I knew I had joined the right fitness facility.
I have been a personal trainer for 18 years, and I highly scrutinize gyms left and right when trying to find a place that is functional, has good equipment, the people are friendly, and I can go in and get an outstanding workout. Coming from someone who consistently finds something a club is doing wrong, this is a great place to workout. Tyler the manager is a super friendly and personable individual, along with Duane, so give this place a chance as I have been to more than a few places in the Springs, and this gym has everything a good fitness center should have.
Are you kidding me I cant believe you took off the schedule the Tuesday night yoga. The only master yoga instructor at 24 Hour Fitness...you took off the schedule. I loved how every class was different and I always learned something new from her. You need to bring back Kathleen! I am so disappointed!
They have really great equipment and there is a pool, steam and sauna. Its almost always packed with people, even at 5am. Friendly staff and fun clesses. They did raise my membership fee after only one year which is the only bummer. Im fairly new here so not sure if theyll raise it every year or not.
I love working out here.everyone is so nice and friendly -staff wise and I love the trainers.
Today I went in to inquire about membership. Tyeshia gave me a tour and was actively listening to what my fitness needs were. Overall, the gym looked clean and organized. I was give a 2 week trial membership and they didnt try to sell me any other services. I was very pleased with my experience and Im looking forward to working out at this gym.
I use this gym for free weights, some machines and goofing in the basketball court. Most things are in disrepair. Cross trainers broken. Bicycles broken. Basketball court has loose boards. Culture is for not to serious people since many people rest on the machines. Weights are not racked etc etc etc.
Great place to work out, extensive free weight selection and a ton of machines as well. They also do classes, have a basketball court, sauna, pool and jacuzzi. The staff is always friendly and being open 24 hours works great with my busy schedule.
I went there tonight and got a 3 day pass, I left it there, not interested in returning. Friends of mine told me the place went down hill, they were right. The place is filthy!, nobody sanitizing anything, dirty showers, filthy floors, and peoples sweet on the machines! and nobody going around cleaning. ONCE was more than enough.
Enjoy this gym and the staff but the machines and equipment are very dirty. It would be great if all the aerobic machines could be routinely cleaned. They are always filthy. If I accidentally drop my jacket or towel I want to just throw it away. Honestly, it is bad! Many of the treadmills and stairsteppers are routinely in need of repair.
Best gym I have been to! Great equipment and layout. Most importantly great members and the team members/employees are top notch. Bobby the club manager does a great job!
The only reason for the second star is convenience and a few good staff members. Overall, you’ll deal with about 2/3 of the cardio equipment being broken and some of it that works in a state of disrepair that makes it barely serviceable. For being such a large company, 24 Hour Fitness doesn’t seem to take much pride in their facilities.
The positive is this gym has a lot of equipment and free weights for your workout options. It’s a different culture at this gym compared to others I have worked out in where a lot of folks do not re-rack their plates and staff don’t seem to care.
I dont understand why people complain about the locker rooms. Its not 24 hour staffs job to flush YOUR toilet or clean up after you. Thats basic manners. Dont blame them, blame the gross people who need someone to wipe their butts for them. As for the staff, I have found 99% of them to be awesome. One bad nut shouldnt ruin your opinion. It hasnt ruined mine. People treat the gym like their bedrooms. They leave things lying around without any respect or basic manners (again) to the fact that SOMEONE is going to have to put those weights away. Also, has any complainer here even THOUGHT about what the staff puts up with? Work a day in their shoes and listen to how upset members treat you. Ive been working out here for 6 months now and I get along well with the staff and members. Why? Because I see them as people, and I treat them as people. Do so, and you will find that this place is like a second family. Oh, and if you find any equipment dirty, you have two hands (hopefully). Grab the cleaner located by the paper towels and give it a wipe. You all have a great day.
Great club! The staff is super friendly and very focused on the members and supporting them in their goals. Great classes!
Glad I’m not a member here and glad I wasn’t there to sign up, I was trying to help my brother out for him to get a pass which at the chapel hills location and south gate location never had such a hassle and slick rudeness trying to snake a young person into a sale, yes the prices are good for what you get compared to higher priced places but sometimes you pay a little more for better customer service, my thing is okay you need paper work to verify if someone is their legal guardian BUT when another individual comes in and says oh here’s their mother instead, Jason Ricker takes them to sign the waiver and the person said to be the mother clicks through everything that I could have done as well and funny thing how does this company or location verify that individual was his mother hmmmm I’m stumped because he didn’t even ask for her ID as the last screen told him to verify ID he just said cool and took my brother to try and sell him on their membership..real interesting and then the General Manager Andrew walks up to me and the mother to thank us for coming in to get it situated and I even asked him now how do you verify this is his mother he said we can’t so that’s interesting legal guardian they want paperwork parent comes and they just assume it was a parent and since the salesman didn’t even cover his own butt he didn’t even check ID of my brother or the mother (so how is it known they are mother and son..??) we could have stopped any one in the parking lot for all they know so they want to talk about liability makes no sense cause they didn’t check much of a thing but sure did try and make a sale. I gave it two stars only cause I know a lot of people enjoy this place but also people don’t be fooled there are better smarter working gym businesses out there.
Great gym. Theres a couple machines that need replacing though, seeing as they & the hot tub are down for repairs half the time.Crazy packed with new-years resolution types in January though, so you may as well skip it until they all leave by February anyway. They should also hard-set some of the TVs. Super frustrating to come in some mornings & have the remote missing, and all the TVs turned to Fox News because old racists need hate-fuel to peddle their recumbent bikes to.
The club is under better management now and improved conditions and machinery make this club the best of the three.
By far the filthiest gym i have ever been to. Used q tips, cotton balls, toilet paper and junk all over the locker room. The sinks do not drain properly. Everything else was just ok. Definitely not coming here again.
I am currently a member but thank god I have all club access. I just do group X classes and hurry the heck outta there. The layout is terrible. Good luck ladies trying to get to the locker room and not bumping into someone on leg machine or a trainer blocking the locker room with a client. Bathrooms are gross and poor ventilation
DO NOT GO TO THIS 24 HOUR FITNESS.They don’t check if customers are wearing masks at all, and most people behind the counter don’t wear masks. I asked if they check for masks and they don’t care.It surprises me that people who workout and care about their health wouldn’t care more about this.
Great place to poop and shower outside the home. Youre better off at planet fitness or lifetime fitness. 24 hour is just kind of a meat market.
I get everything i need here. Classes, staff help, equipment, its all there. I also love sometimes taking a swim in their pool and finishing off the workout in the hot tub or saunas. Ive been coming here off and on for 15 years, and lemmie tell ya, this is the best gym for the cost. Most people average a cost of $38 a month here but its well worth it! They have plenty of weight lifting options in the weight area also. Most people dont use that area unless they are hard core though ;)
Friendly personnel. No aggressive up-sell. Locker rooms are well maintained. Air Conditioning is not too cold. Equipment is clean.
I use several 24 hour gyms but I purposely drive longer to keep from going to this gym which is close to my home. There are four main reasons:1. The gym needs a serious remodel. The main floor is nasty, the machines are old rickety and the mens bathroom is falling apart nasty and a geth hazard.2. The staff needs more training on enforcing the posted rules like rerack weights, no gym bags on floor, time limits on machines. Actually cleaning the place when the 24 hour promise message comes on3. The refrigerators that hold the sports drinks dont work4. The are always weights missing
Early hours, and cleaning hours are a little off the signs all say 1am to 2am yet at 230 the sauna and bathroom are still closed as well as the sauna being propped open making it rather useless to sit in after cleaning is done. just frustrating to pay for a service and not be able to use it when im able to make it in the gym while also trying to adhere to the cleaning hours by coming in a little after 130 and finishing my work out at 230. just seems like the cleaning service is closing the mens bathroom and sauna for 2-3 hours instead of just the 1 hour. which i understand cleaning hours just dont understand the door being propped open for over 1:30 hr.
Management is absolutely horrific. Weights are scattered all across the gym and none of the workers bother to put the weights back where they belong. I’ve had multiple issues with being charged fee’s I was never told about when starting my membership.
My wife and I have been members since March 2017 and we have been very happy with the 24-Hr. Fitness at Austin Bluffs in Colo. Springs. There are many different workout machines and free-weights to choose from in this very large facility, and there is a spacious pool and hot-water spa to relax in afterwards. There was a period during this past summer where the water temperature was not hot enough, due to the need for some new heating equipment. But Andy, the Club Manager, and Ray, the Maintenance Manager, stayed right on top of the situation and did not stop in their efforts to make everything right until all was right back to the perfect status we had enjoyed before. The club is kept very clean and very pleasant by a very professional lady named Graciella during the week-days. And you can always count on Ray to jump on any maintenance issues that pop up, usually within one day. But almost nothing of any significance goes wrong usually -- thanks to Andys sure and steady management of the entire club.If you want a great place to work out, with large dressing rooms, well-maintained wet areas, plenty of showers with soap, and friendly but serious people who enjoy getting and staying in shape, check out 24-Hr. Fitness Sport on Austin Bluffs in Colorado Springs. Ive been a member of different health club facilities since the late 70s, and this one is the best one overall....
This gym needs newer equipment with better technology. This equipment is 15 plus years old. The treadmills stick when trying to use them. The mens bathroom is always dirty and beat down. When something is broken, it takes forever to be fixed. 24hr needs to show this location some damn love.
No weights are put back and there’s trash everywhere. This gym is filthy
(from a bodybuilding perspective) The equipment is prehistoric, the layout is moronic and there is very little if any maintenance. The culture here is just abysmal, whether it be superiority complexes, bad vibes, or downright refusal to re-rack weights. The barbells have little to no knurling left and guess what, no chalk! Literally a safety issue. They do have a very nice basketball court and most equipment you could need including a pec dec, but again, very old school. The lighting makes you feel like youre getting a dental check up and can be blinding when on a flat bench. I get the feeling of a Kmart when in this gym, they simply havent made improvements on pace with other competing gym chains.
Decided to edit my review because ever since Andy left this gym has done a complete 360. Rob and Mike are legit and actually care about the gym. Appreciate all they do!
Ive been coming here a long time and I like it 💪
The 24 Hour Fitness franchise is a joke. The gyms are dirty and they scam you with hidden charges. I placed my account on hold and was not notified I would be charged their annual fee even though I was not using their facilities. This fee occurred before the account automatically re-activated itself. Make sure to cancel your membership rather than placing it on hold. They send an email the day you place your account on hold but it would cost them to send a reminder notification of the account being automatically re-activated. Terrible customer service.
Good people, lots of space, good prices, very clean. Only issue I could have with them is that alot of their tread-mills and biking machines are super inaccurate in terms of speed and calorie-burn. Other wise, I wish I could go there more.
Do not go through the headache of dealing with place of youre looking for a trainer. I have attempted to arrange something over the phone and was told Id get a call back. I never did. After a bit, I figured Id give it one more shot. I managed to get an appointment for a consultation. I took off of work early to make it at the time agreed upon only to find out the person I was to speak with had left! Unreal! I can understand if I had just walked in, but I squeezed time out of my day to get there and they couldnt be bothered.
Great equipment and facilities, but the employees at the front desk are very dismissive.
Ive worked out there for about 18 years since it first opened. They have a great staff who went out of their way to help me one day. It can be busy at times but you just have to go there on off peak times of the day.
