Under new management wonderful techs big things coming from st vrain st service master
Workers were polite and professional. Nohom Asfaw was especially helpful.
Do not recommend this place. They hire and fire CONSTANTLY. Never a good manager and they will fire you for made up reasons. They do not like to pay either, and will withhold money from you especially if they know your illegal which they tend to hire anyways. Can you imagine how they are with their clients?
Your workers are thiefs and for you guys not take responsibility on your guys tells how unprofessional you guys are!.
After the June hailstorm, I had water damage in my dining room, so my contractor sent ServiceMaster over for mold abatement. The tech that came, Josh, was incredible! He was really careful of my kids and dogs and made sure they couldnt come into contact with any mold or chemicals. He also explained to me the entire process step-by-step so that I not only understood what he was doing, but why. And when we (actually he) found mold under my floorboards, he got in contact with the insurance company to ensure they would pay for the work before tearing up half of my laminate. While I didnt love having my dining room taken apart, I would rather have that than mold so Im so grateful to Josh for going above and beyond and treating what, initially, we didnt even know was there. If you call ServiceMaster, I recommend you request Josh. Hes the best!
Id like to weigh in on this ServiceMaster location based upon my experiences working in their office as an estimator and office manager. The two previous reviews are correct. They hire constantly due to the lack of upper management to properly assess their hiring needs and position requirements. Job descriptions online should be more accurate but upper management will not allow it. Coincidentally, upper management (read franchise location owner) does not reside in Colorado and is an absentee manager who will still try to micromanage through email. No benefits will be extended to you if youre hired as a service technician or as a member of management staff. The pay offered for mitigation technicians as a base salary is just barely above the minimum wage and is conditional on meeting training and performance goals that are not set with a concrete date. Communication between teams was slow and often ineffective due to having to put everything related to work via email for upper management to see.I have been working in insurance, restoration, construction management, office management, and estimating for nearly ten years. Im Xactimate certified, have both adjusting and property and casualty licensing in all 50 states. $30,000/yr with no benefits and being constantly video monitored was not what I was willing to accept. After thirty five days of trying to figure out a job that I was expected to learn through poorly written training documents; I was already looking for other employment. When the third manager I saw was brought in during the three months I was working there; morale and treatment deteriorated greatly. Asking a question as simple as, What is our service radius was seen as insubordination. None of my estimates were good enough, despite following the provided guidelines. Nothing I did felt up to a standard that was never adequately quantified. One morning approximately three months into working with this ServiceMaster location, I arrived early as usual to open up the office. Before I could clock-in I was met with a phone call over a cell phone from the owner informing me that I was immediately being let go. I was hurt and when I asked for a reason, it was due to, ...some of the emails you sent were insubordinate. I was unaware that filling training gaps and asking questions as simple as what is our service radius, was regarded as insubordinate. This not even a month after both another manager and technician were hired that were able to use Xactimate seems an uncanny coincidence. Its entirely possible to do your best and be overqualified for a job and still have poor judgement outside of your control impede success. To anyone out there who has worked for this ServiceMaster location; dont beat yourself up if you were against impossible odds. To those looking for work at this location; there are other mitigation companies in the area. Dont be afraid to ask for benefits and proper pay, if you think its too low to make ends meet; then dont take the job.Months later Im much happier and far less anxious at my current position. My new company treats its employees like people rather than an employee number. Its taken me some months to get around to writing this review after finally shaking off the bad experience of working here. My benefits or pay have never been brought into question and I greatly enjoy going into work everyday.
Amazing people at the Saint Vrain ST location.
There are issues with this branch. The managers never stay the same for long and Im sure the cleaning staff is regularly replaced as well. That seems rather off to me.
