Have worked with Bud and Candy numerous times. All I can say is they are excellent to work with. The remodeling they have done on our house is of excellent quality. They were always on time, on budget and again, high quality! Will call Bud first when need work done on my house.
We worked with Bud Ingels as our contractor on two projects. The first project was an expansion and update to a deck. The deck was completed in a timely manner and on budget. It met our expectations and we were happy with the result. The second project was a major remodel. We turned a kitchen and two rooms into a kitchen and great room space. We were thrilled with how it turned out. Bud demonstrated his mastery of construction and materials at every turn. He had excellent rapport and relationships with subcontractors and everyone who worked on the project. He kept us informed on the status of work and was responsive to every question. The invoices for the project were complete and accurate in every respect. In the current jargon, his work, communications and billing were transparent.Bud is honest, personable and an excellent communicator. Further, he continued to help us with small things long after the project was completed. I recommend him without hesitation.
We have engaged High Point to construct two homes for us over the past 15 years. Bud and Candy are outstanding to work with in every way. We would highly recommend them as builders and for interior design work. We are happy to serve as a reference.Maynard & Sarah Oliverius
Not sure what I would have done without Candy when we were building our new home. She was so supportive of me, while helping to guide me to better decisions. Candy is a class act!
Updated: Our overall experience was with Hi Point Home Builders was challenging but the home turn out very nice. For Army and Air Force families beware conservative with your need date for move it. The scheduled move-in date can be off by at least 5 months and for us it was 7 months late. Budge for upcharges and upgrades at ever design center appointment via Change Orders. I recommend you complete the “punchlist” before closing. After closing the time can be up to a year due to the new builds being Hi Points top priority. I took a long time but Hi Point did work with us to complete our Punchlist item 2 years later. Lesson learned is we should have discussed the punchlist every week non-stop until the list was complete. God bless you as you build your home, (See reviews for Hi Point Home Builders)
We are independent employees that were asks to help by a subcontractor, Jeff, he only needed us for 3 days. But the home owners keep aski us to come back and finish their house! They were told they could move into their dream home I Sept but the dont even have floors or appliances! We just came to finish the outside paint job.. One of the supervisors, Justin, told us to keep coming everyday and to get everything we needs to be able to take the next job on by the horns. We promised the we would be paid for our dedication. So we spent every dime into an airless sprayer, etc. All to find out the for almost a week of blood, sweat, and tears, the general contractor, Wayne, refused to pay us! He would rather have a lazy, in licenced or registered so-called painter, who didnt even know how to us a sprayer, and by the way has a warrent and is supposed to register as a sex offender, but has not, sit in his car all day on the job site then a couple who in a short amount of time came in and showed more imorovement then the owners have seen in months! Even the neighbors made comments.. I have pictures to back up our work and receipts on items that were needed for the job site to fix the last few employees mistakes. The owners are $70, 000 over budget and they thought they hired a contractor that builds for the parade of homes... Guess if its not in the parade, your dream home is built by tweakers who only have their hand out and dont know how to work...
Bud and Candy only do A+ work. And they are both a pleasure to deal with.
