Took my kiddo in for a cut. Clean place, main complaint, lady seemed like she was just done. A bit rough with my son for my tastes. I get it, kids can be frustrating, she just seemed to be out of patience.

SUPER Amazing job on my two boys. 1 and 2. They normally scream and kick during haircuts and they had such patience for them while they cried and they did better here then they have other places. They sat pretty still and just cried. Will definitely be going back ! I did see comments where they said they made their 2 year wear a mask and I didn’t have that their window says everyone 4+. Really loved this place ! I did make an appointment before coming in earlier the same day. Super satisfied.

If you are looking for a place with good prices, this is the place. They even have a punch card and when you buy twelve the thirteenth is free. If you have several kids, that is a bargain. They do great work as well. We love Shawna. They have great chairs for the little ones getting first cuts. They also have a kid friendly play area for the siblings who are waiting their turn, or even for a mom or dad to get a trim while their kids play. They are friendly and quick as well.

If you value the way your kids hair looks, do not go here. We normally see a barber for my son but he was unavailable so we made a huge mistake and came here. Our normal barber takes an hour on my sons hair and this girl took 15 minutes, left it uneven, cut his curls way too short when we said just a trim and gave him a bald spot on the back of his head and then had the audacity to blame it on my 2 year old after I warned her he had sensory issues and she assured me she knew how to handle it. We will never return to this place or any place similar.

We had such a fantastic first time experience. My three kids got different stylist and each had a great cut, style and they loved the attention of each of them.

I was stressed about taking my 18 month old in for a haircut because his first haircut (at a different place) didnt go so well and now hes older and even more of a handful. Jenny was absolutely AMAZING with him and it went so much better this time, he only fussed at the end because he was getting impatient. She made him feel very comfortable and that is much appreciated. I will definitely bring him back to her!

Up their prices from 10$ to almost 13$ which seems crazy to just shave a head.Made my 3 year old wear his mask during the cut and got hair all over it. I understand being safe, but you also take Temps and ask about being illness why not let little guys take their mask off. State regulation is 10 and up anywayAlso I tipped the person who cut his hair and she acted like she was disappointed or I didnt tip enough.Quite a change from previous times weve always loved our experience, but not this time

I dont know how they deal with squirming sometimes crying kids. But they make it look easy! Theyre really friendly. They all usually do a really good job as far as haircuts go for kids. Things are different due to the pandemic. You have to schedule appointments now, no toys, no more than 10 people in the building, you are required to wear a mask and they check your temperature as soon as you step foot inside. Theyre really professional about it. They keep it clean in there. Its an awesome place! Ive gone to Kiddie Kutters even when I was a kid.

Why go anywhere else? The staff here are absolutely wonderful with kids and its set up as an environment kids will enjoy, but heres the kicker: Theyre cheaper than anywhere else. A haircut for $10.95? Thats unheard of. As you might expect, they were busy, but because they had so much staff, the wait was less than 10 minutes.

It wasnt busy at all, but now I know why. The older woman with the nose ring was very grumpy and rude. She jerked my childs head around even though she was sitting very still. She wouldnt pump the chair up higher, instead she wanted my child to sit on a huge booster that wiggled around and made it so there was nothing to lean back against, and my daughter was very scared to use it. She was very rude and impatient with her. She also cut her hair crooked, though my child was very very still, because she was terrified. Then, she done a ton of glitter on her head without asking me, and when I asked if it would get anywhere she didnt say anything she just got hairspray and coated her face with that. 😤 I wanted only an inch and a half of her hair, because my daughter wanted it to stay long, and she cut almost 4-5 inches off 😱. The toys in the wait room was filthy with other peoples hair. 🤮 The other kiddie cutters was better, but not by much. I will NEVER go there again. I am still angry about this experience whenever I think about it. DO NOT EVER GO THERE.

Everyone employed here works hard at keeping your child calm and also getting the haircut done as quick and clean as possible. Haircuts are consistent and never disappointing.

Arrived 5 minutes early for appointments for my 3 kids. Called the number on window and it rang about 30 times someone finally bothered to answer. I was told to wait in the car as they were finishing up with a family and we werent allowed inside . Five minutes after appointment time(no big deal, it happens) they finally leave and we are waved inside.Temperatures were taken and the Im told my 2 year old MUST wear a mask to come inside. The lady tells my toddler she has to wear a mask or she cant come inside. Shes now terrified. I tried several times to put the mask on my daughter. The lady is insistent. Now my daughter is on the verge of a nervous breakdown because some stranger is attempting to get her to wear a mask. We left. As we are leaving a young boy and his mother just walk in...no temperature taken🤷

Shout out to who cut my babys hair because she was so kind and so quick and did an amazing job!! I was a little nervous but everyone there is so welcoming and kind. My daughter hasnt ever had a hair cut before aside from a quick bang trim, and she always screams and cries when I try to touch her hair. We came here to get a little trim off the back and her bangs cut and they did a fantastic job! She didnt fuss one bit and actually loved the experience, which is a first. I will be returning for any future cuts I need on my kiddos!

Great haircut, patient staff, fantastic prices. We went on a Saturday. I put my son on the list and we went and got lunch, and then came back. We waited just a bit and got a great haircut. They can get pretty busy, but there were six pros cutting hair and they churn through the list pretty quickly.

This was the greatest adventure dealing with haircuts. My grandson is 3 years old and has had horrible time with his past two haircuts. I will say this haircut started out with the fear and screams, but ended with him playing with the staff, their cars, and toy area and NOT wanting to leave. The ladies were wonderful. My only regret is there salon is over an hour away from home. PLEASE come to Castle Rock!!!! Thank you all for allowing me to leave more relaxed. :)::):)

It was our first visit here as we had gotten a free haircut coupon, and I couldnt be happier. Me and my two children (ages 7 and 2) went in to get haircuts today, and the first thing I noticed is that their waiting area is full of (literally) fun toys, a train table, and even a playhouse to entertain the little ones. My daughter was first with her first haircut ever! They evened out her hair in less than 5 minutes and even suggested a way to deal with her dandruff issues that wasnt reliant on harsh dandruff shampoos. They even gave her a toy to play with to keep her quiet and occupied (worked like a charm, no screaming). At the end they gave me a little card with a baggie attached containing her first cut hair, dated and labeled with her name! After hers, my son and I got ours done while my mom watched the baby. They dealt well with his thick, wavy hair and got it to a manageable length and cut, without triggering his mild sensory issues with the clippers. I didnt even need to stand there for moral support like I normally do. During mine, we made decisions together about how to make my thick hair less heavy and hot without losing the length needed to put it up in a ponytail, all while having an easy conversation and joking around like old friends. When it came time to pay, I found out they are cheaper than Great Clips, and that clinched it. I think they have earned a new regular customer. :)Summary: pleasant, knowledgeable staff; great atmosphere and prices.

What an amazing place. My kids move constantly like a locomotive on a circus mission, it was nice for them to stay busy with all the fun toys and slides while waiting their turn. The stylists were like girlfriends youve known for years, very easy to talk with and joke around with. You leave feeling happy and relaxed. They by far have the best prices in town. Went here because I saw some good reviews of this place. I took my 3 year old to get a hair cut and I was amazed. The service is amazing and the ladies are so nice! Roberta was the one that did my daughters hair and she did an outstanding job. She left me amazed the entire time. My daughter just sat still and was happy, she didnt cry once! We came from out of town and had a great experience. We went on a Friday night and there was no wait. The stylist was personable and friendly and very engaging with my 3 year old. The Haircut was exactly what I asked for and she listened very well. I let my guy play for 5 min after in their play area and they were very cool with it.

I love love love kiddie kutters. Not only do they do kids, but adults too. Both my husband and I had our hair cut, and I even had color. Both were some of the best hair cuts we have ever had, the color was beautiful, and my two year old played and met some new friends in the process. I have always had her hair cut here and loved it, but now it maybe a family event!

Love the atmosphere and the fact that they contain my son so well and that I dont have to do it. But the haircut is not worth the price, and just doesnt match with the quality I expected. They just cut his hair how they want regardless of what I say, so Im annoyed every time I leave... But my son sits still during the cut and has so much fun while we are waiting that I just fix his hair when we get home after (I let them do the bulk of the work) ...because they over trim the top, and hardly trim the sides and back as even, so I just pull my kit out at home and trim the back more, and as it grows out on top, I eventually have the cut I wanted in the first place.

I absolutely love this place for hair cuts.I got my eye brows waxed there because it was easier - not a good job. The woman ripped skin, didn’t wax between my eyes, and didn’t finish tweezing. AND I was charged for it.I’m really disappointed with the service I got after that... who charges for a wax that’s half done and rips the customers’ eye lid?

Kiddie Kutters is great, but the hairdresser, Felicia, is EVEN BETTER! She is so talented, very skilled, and very fast. I take the kids and myself to her because I am NEVER disappointed. She also listens to EXACTLY what you want- no surprises when you come to her! She takes great care of her customers and makes sure that they are satisfied with what she is doing. Every cut she makes, she makes sure that it is exactly what you would want. Not to mention, for her to cut my hair exactly how I want it in the span of 15 minutes sounds like a sweet deal to me! This is a great place to take kids for hair cuts. I admire the women who can do a good job cutting a wiggly little ones hair. I know I cant do it, that why I bring my little guy there. The are toys and a play house for kids to play while waiting. My son loves to get his hair cut while sitting in a car. The ladies are very friendly.

Do not go here if your child has black/mixed hair! They used a blow dryer on my daughters hair and ruined it. It took weeks of oil treatment to get it soft again.However, this place has many adorable things for the children and nice ladies work here. I would recommend if you do not have black/mixed hair.

So we have been going to them for about a year. We loved them at first but lately they have been messing up my kids hair. Yesterday we took out kids in and they messed up my daughters bangs. Too short and uneven. We have no choice but to pin them and let it grow. They are all so nice, unfortunately we dont go there anymore.

I decided to take my son here because of the atmosphere for kids. Plus I have another little one so she could be occupied just in case he needed help through his haircut. Well my son hasmixed hair and although the cut wasnt horrendous there were spots that were very noticable that there was longer hair. The lineup wasnt any better. The 3 stars were for the child friendly atmosphere.

Be careful who you get!! The first person to cut my sons hair did a HORRIBLE job. She pushed way to hard on his head, he was saying ouch over and over again and crying. I could tell she was pushing hard but didnt realize just how hard. The cut was so uneven and terrible. She asks how do you like it? I wanted to laugh, but I wasnt going to have her keep hurting my child so I said fine, my son was done and I was just angry at this point. I wish I got her name, dark hair.BUT Roxana (the owner I believe) she gets 5 stars! Cut my daughters curly hair perfectly and notices how bad my sons hair was and fixed it with little to no tears. She was great!! I wasnt going to leave a bad review since Roxana fixed it, but the first lady pushed so hard there are marks on my sons head!!! Why on earth is she working on children? She obviously doesnt care. And solely because of that lady I will not be back, which is sad since Roxana was so amazing, but I will warn all my friends and family to avoid that place because of the one lady. The lady caused harm to my 2 and a half year old. I cant believe someone like that works with kids.

I have been here before and gotten ok haircuts... however last time I was there the haircut was horrible! ...I felt like I had to explain to everyone I actually paid for this haircut... after a couple days of that I went out and bought my own clippers and did it myself (which I always said I would never cut anyones hair). In the end this HORRIBLE haircut has probably saved me hundreds of dollars... so thanks for the terrible haircut I guess!

Decided to celebrate our daughter’s 4th birthday here and gotta rave about the experience. The moment we walked in they had everything ready to go. As parents, we didn’t have to coordinate anything...the staff here took care of everything. The package was affordable, the staff was amazing and so was the party. Definitely recommend these ladies (Dara, Jenny, Mariah and Roxane) if you want to throw your child’s next birthday event here. You will be impressed with the care this team puts into what they do.

Great place. My three year decided he wanted to give a hand on being a barber and cut his hair. Tried finding a kid friendly place for a kid who hasn’t had a hair cut since the day he was born and found them. They made sure he wasnt going to be scared of the clippers and fixed the problem. Good place for kids (and women and men alike) to get a hair cut! One thing I scratch my head on is why these women (barbers) charge more for a women hair cut? It’s like women discriminating/taxing their own kind! One should charge more or less based on the haircut not based on their age or gender!

And I shouldnt probably be allowed to post my opinion because I work there, but I have worked at severely places over the years and the staff here is amazing they all inspire me in their own way.We were so busy today. At one point we had 16 people on the list but we all kept going with smiles on our faces and got those children ready to go back to school. My three-year-old got her first haircut here and she had a great experience. Her stylist was so sweet with her and the entire atmosphere was very kid friendly. The prices are also so great for a kids cut.

Top notch little birthday party deal for girls. They help out the busy mom by taking care of everything! For $200, they get the cupcakes, decorations, games and gift bags. The party handles 5 to 7 girls; where they get their hair, nails and optional make up done! They have dresses and jewelry to play the ultimate dress up! My daughter and friends loved it! They yelled out Best party ever!!! They get to dance down a red carpet, crown the princess game, and musical crowns. I cant say enough of how happy my 4 year old was with her birthday party!

This place is always very busy when go (usually on the weekends), but the staff are very good and really good at keeping my antsy toddler in his seat for the duration of the haircut.They also provide plenty of toys and even a free to play video game cabinet to keep the kids occupied while waiting to be called back.

I only ever go to this location. I have gone to other locations and have experience poor customer service and even worse haircuts. I travel all the way from Widefield, because I feel confident that they are going create an enjoyable experience for my toddlers and look nice afterwards. Ive taken both of my boys there for first haircuts, the ladies snatched up good locks and attached them to a filled out cards with names and dates for a sweet keepsake, they are patient and quick. I have always been very skeptical were I take my son for his hair cut! I love this place, they are very patient and friendly and they do a great job :) I recently brought my nephew and nieces here too and they all loved their fresh new hair cuts!

The immediate area around the chair was not swept between the previous client and my child. We had to walk through a large amount of hair to get into the chair. This left a bad impression and makes me wonder what else wasnt cleaned between clients 🤔.

We have been going to Kiddie Kutters for at least 20 years. They are amazing with kids and they will even cut adult hair : ) The stylists are very friendly and the owner is often on site. Great locally owned business.

Couldn’t even enter the place it smelled so bad. I opened the door and my husband behind me could smell how bad it was. I understand dirty diapers, but take it outside to not stink up the entire shop. Just gross.

Amazing I have really thick hair thats hard for most people to cut. We all go in as a family and get our hair cut and we have never had a bad cut or poor service. Everyone there rocks!
