We returned from our vacation to find our AC not working. I called Summit and they came out the next day to diagnose it. Kevin discovered the issue and checked to see if they had the parts in stock. After confirming they did he went to get the parts and completed the repair. You have earned my future business. Thank you again!

We chose Summit Heating and Cooling based on their reviews and being Veteran and Woman owned. We could not be happier with our experience! They were quick to set an appointment, showed up on time, did a thorough inspection of our current system and after several diagnostics, identified the problem. Their prices are far better than any other company we have previously used and we have never experienced such personal care and attention to detail.After reading through their reviews, I would really like to know the name of the Licensed Home Inspector that particularly nasty reviewer used, so that we can ensure to never use him/her. Clearly he/she is inexperienced. We had a brand new build home in New Mexico that the AC was not Charged when installed and the entire system froze within a few days of using and the entire system had to be replaced. Sounds to me like Karen should probably thank Summit rather than blast them on the internet, though I am happy the person buying her home will not have to go through the nightmare we did in New Mexico.Thank you Summit for the absolutely amazing customer service that you provided to us and all of your happy customers. We appreciate small companies like yours, that operate with Integrity and being a Veteran Family as well - Thank you for your Military Service as well as your commitment to EXCELLENT Customer Service!!

I purchased my AC system prior to Wright going out of business and AirPro (I think) took over. Not great service thought I was a ATM. So, I decided to look through the reviews of several different AC/Furnace businesses and Summit Heating and Cooling was by far the better of the business. Very professional staff starting from the scheduling of the service to the maintenance that was performed. If you are looking for a professional, on-time, great communicator and sensibly price business this is the place for you. Summit Heating and Cooling staff are very genuine I wasnt treated like a ATM. I was treated like customer with concerns and my concerns were put to rest. I was talked to not talked at (if those of us who has experience that understand what I mean). Anyway, Summit Heating and Cooling should be everyones first stop when looking for someone to take care of your AC/Furnace system.

My daughter purchased a home that was later found to have an HVAC system that went out shortly after closing. Jennifer at Summit Heating and Cooling made sure that my daughter received excellent care and attention, and notified me about the specifics of her replacement unit, knowing that the purchase of my daughters first home was of great importance to me as her Realtor and her mother. Summit has ever since been a company I refer to buyers and sellers alike, as well as fellow Realtors who are looking for a quality service provider that I trust. This is because of their honesty and integrity, and because they always strive to make clients aware of each recommendation, and the processes and reasons behind their recommendations before they render service. If a system is not in need of repair or replacement, they will not attempt to up-sell like many other companies. They also charge a reasonable amount for their services, and provide excellent and completely thorough documentation for the paid services they perform. I have never had a complaint about them from any of my buyer or seller clients, and quite the contrary - every one of my clients I have heard back from has raved about them, and thanked me for referring them my trusted professional.Please add my name to the MANY 5-star reviews you see listed here- I will continue to refer them to my clients and other Realtors so that their clients are never surprised by HVAC systems going out or freezing up after closing like my daughter was with hers.

Consumer beware! We had this company come out to our home to perform HVAC clean out service. Our home is just over a year old. The technician comes back into our home and says everything looks great and that our AC unit needs to be “charged”. Having owned many homes in several states we have never once heard this term. We asked why we would need this and his response was “well once summer gets hot your AC could freeze” not having any knowledge of this and the fact that we were selling our home he also added “i will be putting in the report that this needs to be done so it may cause a problem when it comes to selling your home”. We hesitantly said ok I guess we can do it. We called our realtor and Licensed Home Inspector and we were told that we got scammed and that was a completely dishonest practice. We have had zero problems with our brand new air conditioning unit on our brand new home. The only time you would need to “fill up” your air conditioning unit is if you have a leak. We do not have any problems, period. When we confronted the tech and started asking questions and expressing that we feel like he took advantage of us by misleading and being deceptive - he proceeded to get hostile. We asked for our invoice so that we can look over it and try to figure out what this service was since he couldn’t explain it to us other than it’s “just something we have to do”. He refused to give us an invoice for the work performed and stated we absolutely do not give invoices until you pay us. That right there, is complete unprofessionalism and completely shady. He stormed out of the house when we refused payment until we could see an invoice and get a solid explanation. The technician then came back to our home with another person on speaker phone threatening to file a lien against our property. Zero customer service skills. If this wasn’t a sketchy practice why wouldn’t they take the time to assure the customer of work performed so we can understand? As we work in the Real Estate Industry we will make sure everyone knows to take their business elsewhere. Extremely poor service and communication.

When should you expect your heater to fail? When its snowing and freezing temps in Colorado of course! I didnt want to call the normal service i had used in the past because their level of service had declined so i took a change on Summit Heating & Cooling. I also wanted to try to support more small businesses in this COVID world. Kevin came in and identified the problem quickly and showed me exactly why he was replacing the piece (being educated why was new for me). Less than a week later though my heater stopped working again and i thought what next. Kevin came back and the replaced the part he had replaced the week before (manufacture issue not Kevin issue). Heating has now been working just fine for a month now and I HIGHLY recommend them. Kevin & Jennifer have my business for life (at least twice a year - once for heating and once for air condition). Now if only i could find the same level of service with all my home repairs (backed up sewer for example :) ) then my home would be in tip top shape.

My furnace stopped working and when I called the lady that answered the phone was very respectful. They arrived within the time frame they said. They were quick and efficient with the diagnosis and was very honest with the issue I had and gave me a fare price to repair my old furnace and had another bigger named company out the was going to charge me $200 dollars more for the repair. Highly recommend summit heating and cooling.

I highly recommend Summit Heating and Cooling. We were having issues with our furnace blowing cold air and the thermostat went blank. I called them on a Sunday morning and despite telling them it wasnt urgent in my message, they called me back right away. They came out and informed us that our furnace was dead. They were able to order and install a new furnace within 2 days, despite some crazy events that took place (unrelated to them or their service). They were professional, fun to work with and did a great job. We passed our inspection easily the following business day. We will definitely be using them in the future and recommend them to anyone who would like high quality customer service like you could get in the good old days, when customer service was a priority!

Amazing service! Very professional. Kevin and John were extremely knowledgeable. I truly feel they saved our familys life. We had a faulty unit in our home, they saved us from having CO2 poisoning. We also had an extremely dirty and moldy humidifier, that we were under the impression it was being cleaned and serviced by another company twice a year. It wasnt, they caught the problem. Summit repaired and replaced everything we needed in a timely manner and with pristine professionalism. Also Jennifer who scheduled and took our call had great customer service and knowledge as well. Thank you Summit for keeping our family safe, healthy and ALIVE!I highly recommend this company!

I dont live in Colorado but I contacted Jennifer before I got my furnace looked at because I had never had a furnace clean and check before. She told me all the questions to ask and even talked me through the report the company sent me after to help me understand what it all meant. She was extremely responsive and helpful! I have family in Colorado that I will definitely recommend them too!

Jen and Kevin were amazingly professional! We have dogs and they always made sure then gates and doors were shut just in case someone got scared and ran for it. They remembered that my fiancé was a dialysis patient and asked about him. Overall l couldnt have asked for better care then what we got. They are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

Summit took over for wright total indoor comfort who had previously been responsible for my basement mechanical permit. When the work failed the inspection, summit told me that they would fix it at my cost. The owner told me repeatedly that it didnt matter that I had already paid for the work, stating that I hadnt paid him. I told them I understood that we both got screwed when wright went out of business and sought some kind of compromise but was met with hostility and stubbornness. They have flat out refused to negotiate (even with the better business bureaus intervention) and attempt and kind of customer service solution. Basically they got screwed so Im out of luck. We were advised when they called to get more money for the permit that there were many other customers facing the same issue. If they got stonewalled the same way we have thats a terrible business model.

I first used Summit Heating and Cooling for a furnace and A/C cleaning and maintenance in May. They arrived on time, were professional and very thorough. A few weeks later I realized my furnace installation, completed in 2016 by a different company, was never permitted. When it did not pass inspection, I immediately contacted Summit Heating and Cooling. Jennifer was able to put me on their schedule right away. Not only did Kevin and John arrive as scheduled, but they also communicated with me exactly what they were doing and why. They replaced the gas shutoff valve and all the venting, which required rerouting the water line to make room for the new venting. Everything passed the next day and the inspector commented on the quality of work. Summit Heating and Cooling exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them for all your heating or cooling needs.

I was experiencing a disaster with my old HVAC system that flooded my unit and a portion of my basement causing mold and rust. The repairman (other company) advised I needed a whole unit replacement and gave me an outrageous quote. I was extremely stressed out, didnt know who to trust to be honest and help me navigate this problem. I found Summit and from the beginning I knew I was in good hands. They were quick to respond, walked me through everything, helped me understand the problem and the best way to proceed. I felt confident they had my very best interest in mind. I loved the customer service, the quick availability, and the great price on an excellent new Furnace and AC. The install was well done, the system works beautifully, and I would definitely recommend them to all my family and friends for thier heating and air conditioning needs!
