Martin at Cooper Heating and Air is an HVAC artist. To put a furnace, evaporator coil, humidifier and water heater in a small closet was amazing in and of itself, but to make everything look so neat and organized is another level altogether. Kenneth was his assistant during this process and he is learning well to have the same excellence as his lead. These guys had to get all this equipment down a pretty tight stairwell and they did that masterfully as well.I realize this sounds a bit like I’m gushing, but honestly, I can find NOTHING at all that would make this review otherwise. At final inspection, I was actually super happy to hear that “Cooper does a good job” and that our install was no different.In addition, other “pros” were how quickly they could get us on the schedule, and the type of equipment they provide. Martin and Kenny rolled with the punches that a 1988 house with an unfortunate DIY past threw at them, and went the extra mile to make sure this new system could add a bit of sparkle to our home, which included taking out the old thermostat and putting a new “smart” thermostat in a completely different place (yeah, THAT was a fun story! Again, this old house…).So grateful for the A/C with all the smoke and heat bathing Colorado right now. I know we will be thrilled with much more even and cost effective heat, along with the added humidity in a couple months!Good job Cooper (and good job Costco for using them)! From the initial estimate, to the customer service team, to the install, we are beyond happy! Thank you!!
Scam AlertDo not use this company!Called them to try and fix the water heater. Was going to charge us $249 to blow out the air ducts with nitrogen. We refused, and the price suddenly dropped down to $129. This wasn’t even going to be a guaranteed fix either. The price dropped even lower at the end of the session and all he did was clean. Didn’t even fix the water heater and was there screwing around for 2 hours!! My entire house smelled of gas. Even touched the outside gas meter !Gave us some outrageous quotes for parts and turns out that wasn’t the problem.We called another company out the next day and not even within 30 min switched 3 wires out and fixed the water heater!I can’t believe this is the help these days. Beware!

We originally went with One Source about a month ago because our AC wasn’t working correctly. They came in and told us our Freon needed to be recharged and wayyy overcharged us. Once that was done, our AC still wasn’t working 2 weeks later. Finally, someone professional and smart came in and told us that One Source lied to us. They never actually charged the Freon and they avoided a simple step which was just cleaning the filters. Barrington was very knowledgeable and 1000x better. Thank you for having common sense and helping us out a ton!
Had the best experience I have had with a service company than I have had in a Long long time. From Blaine, Jason, Martian, to Kenny we were blessed to have them in our sanctuary of our home for several days to relocate, replace, and upgrade our HVAC system (heat/cold/humidity/purification) along with correcting the builder erroneous errors. So much so that the inspector who came through mentioned the quality of the installation.Their professionalism, courteousness, thoroughness, and knowledgeability stood out way above par and it shows in their craftsmanship. On top of researching all the products after the quote, the Bonus that it is all through and backed by Costco was the icing on top of the cake.

We initially contacted Costco member services for a quote for a new air conditioning and furnace replacement. Through Costco, we were connected and contacted by Cooper Heating & Cooling. Of the different companies we contacted, they were the fastest at getting someone to come out for an estimate. Blaine was very professional, not only in communication with us, but also in throughly going over all of the information and different products we could pick from. Additionally, contacting him with any additional questions or concerns was great.We scheduled our service and Cooper H&C had clear communication on when it was happening as well as texting us the names and pictures of the technicians who would be coming to our home. Chandler and Conner showed up in the timeframe as promised. They were very professional and worked on this big project for us. We were told it’s an all day project of about 8 hours. It was! These two worked diligently and kept all the work spaces clean. They laid down protective tarps and were respectful of our space and home. We didn’t feel like we had to pick up or clean anything after they left.If you’re looking for a company to help with heating or cooling, Cooper Heating & Cooling is wonderful! Great communication and customer service all around. They really work well as a team and getting things taken care of! We’re loving our new units and nice cold ac!
I have had very positive experiences with Cooper. Their employees are professional, responsible and honest. When I explained the heating problem to another company, they sent a tech out and charged me to tell me he couldnt work on a boiler. I was pleased with Coopers service and after fixing the problem had them back to replace a 42 year old boiler. Professional installation and the new system is working great so far.

Chance and his apprentice did everything they could to make the install perfect. They thought the needed to route exhaust pipes a certain way, but they verified code to get a better result. They saw Id been suffering with builder grade ductwork with impossible filter install for 17 years, and they rebuilt it so it works perfectly. They also saw some random condensation tubing installation, so they rerouted the pipes out of sight. Everything they did was with an eye toward functionality and perfection, despite it not being quoted in the price—they upgraded the little things that make a big difference for free. I would strongly recommend their service. I shopped through Costco, which gives discounts. the install might have been slightly more expensive than some other quotes, but its worth every penny!
We have used Cooper since 2014 when they installed the units. We have been fortunate to meet Barrington the technician and we ALWAYS request him. He is exactly what you want in a tech in any field. This company apparently does not want to be good neighbors. They park their commercial bright green trucks in residential zones where their technician lives in Aurora on Fraser Court. They are not working on a home, the technician parks the vehicle illegally and has been cited but they dont care. Do not use this company as they actually dont care about our community.
My wife and I made the choice to get AC in our house as we are both working from home and decided that we couldnt take the heat any more. (we are both CO Natives but it seems to be getting hotter around here.) We had received three bids and while Coopers bid, came in lower, their product seems to be better or equal quality. Their sales rep (Blaine) was very professional and was able to explain to me in great detail what I needed and didnt try to up sell me on anything that I didnt need. Cooper was able to set up the install a couple of days later, sounds like thats unusual for them, but I was thankful.The installers were a little late due to the AC unit not being in their location on time, but they called to let me know and made it right with me. I would have been disappointed without a call. I do currently work in a home office so this was not an issue for me anyways, but I did appreciate the call.We built our home through a well known home builder in town and have had some issues with the hot water. It literally (not figuratively) took the water in kitchen sink five minutes to heat up. We asked our home builder about this and they said that was normal and they could not fix it due to the size of our house (which isnt that large). I asked the sales rep about this and he sent Jason B. to look at the recirculating pump for us. This of course was for a fee of 99. If this could be fixed, 99 was well worth it. Jason took apart the hosing around the pump and found a defect. I am not well diverse in this, so lets just say that he found the problem and fixed it and that the home builder was wrong. We not have instant hot water throughout the house. Thanks Jason! Now our biggest problem is that we keep burning our hands on the hot water. Were just not used it.Our AC install went great! I dont have much to compare this to, but I know that I am sitting in my office which is cool and comfortable. I didnt know this, but once you have an AC unit installed, a couple of inspectors from the city need to come out to check their work to make sure everything was done correctly. The inspector who looked at the mechanical work admired the work of the two who performed the install, which was Dion and Ryan. He said that he could tell that they went above and beyond and had excellent craftsmanship. I was glad to hear this as we have had some issues with other installs int the past and with the craftsmanship from the trades of our home builder.We are happy with our experience with Cooper Heating & Cooling. We felt that we got a great value with the AC unit, the install and of course with the hot water. While we are happy with the product, we are extremely happy with the personal service that we received from the company. Blaine, Jason, Dion and Ryan were all great people to work with and I grateful for the service they provided for our family.

I got a new HVAC system from Cooper Heating and Cooling about a year and a half ago. I have been extremely pleased with the HVAC systems itself, but even more so with the level of service and professionalism provided. In particular, Jason and Barrington have been the ones that have personally assisted me, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Also, Tom Rome originally sold me the system, and he is very good as well.I highly recommend Cooper Heating and Cooling and am so glad I went with this company.
Setting up an appt with Cooper to check our furnace was straight forward, friendly and happened on the date and time scheduled. The service person, John was great! Kept us informed during our service window as to when he would arrive, and arrived in that window. John was very personable and thorough. He talked through, with us understanding, some items that needed to be addressed, and went an extra mile to give us suggestion on where to buy supplies, and get us set up to access our thermostat remotely thru computer or phone!
They were supposed to do an inspection but the technician refused to enter the crawl space because it was damp. To hear him tell it it was wet, like flooded and there could be mold so he was not going down there because he valued his health. Funny that he could wear a mask to prevent COVID but was worried about mold.

Martin was very knowledgeable and professional with my wife in explaining everything he was doing.Very neat, excellent quality. Being an electrical superintendent for a colorado springs company I did the electrical to save some money. He informed me what I needed to do to make the installation pass inspection since codes have changed over the years.While inspecting his work i also noticed some flaws in my old system such as rotten duct tape around joints and a leak in previous installation by others.The AC line running thru crawl is professionally built and installed, secured properly, sealing all holes in exterior wall and the mounting of unit looks great!My wife is very pleased with a constant temp of 72 degrees. I will be recommending Cooper heating to anyone and everyone as well as calling them to fix old stuff that needs updated.Great company, no 8 hour a day crew there, worked until it was complete.

This was a very good experience. Cooper installed a mini-split system for air conditioning/heating. The work was done professionally and without any problems. The crew was courteous, responsive to questions and requests, and they worked very hard, even in inclement weather. The project was completed in the promised time and they worked with me promptly and effectively to get the rebates I claimed. What a terrific company all round. (By the way, no relation to anyone in the company).

We received a bid and promptly over got billed over $6000 dollars but we still cant get returned phone calls, an Air conditioner or our money back. I guess it is a good thing we purchased this AC through Costco and we are trying to get Costco to wake up also. Piss pour performance to Cooper heating and air also Costco. Very unhappy!
We are going through the experience of relocating my mother due to her declining health. I called Cooper Heating & Cooling to have central air installed for her because she cannot be without it. The owner Tom came to our home within 48 hours to give us a quote. Tom was also respectful of the Covid restrictions and wore a mask the whole time. In addition other companies that we called just did a drive by and gave us a price without even seeing what type of equipment we had. Tom came in and spent time walking through our home, looking at our furnace, electrical, vents, etc. because he wanted to make sure we had the right equipment so they wouldnt begin installing and have to charge us more to update any heating or electrical components. Tom also took the time to explain the entire process and answered any questions we had. He knew we were looking for a quick installation because of the transition with my mom and were able to accomodate with no problem. The installer Chance Burnett was the lead of a team of two. They arrived about 9:00AM and worked tirelessly all day through 6:30PM. Chance came across an issue with our thermostat near the end and because it was something that wasnt discovered during the quote the owner replaced it for us without charging us extra. Chance had to run to the warehouse to get the new thermostat causing a longer day for them but the attitude and professionalism of his team was exceptional. They did a great job explaining what was happening along the way. They were both respectful of noise and minimized distractions while my husband and I are required to work from home due to Covid. After installing the new thermostat they took the time to assist my husband in trying to figure out the details with programming it. When they were finished they cleaned up so well you would never have known they were there! We are so pleased to work with a company that has integrity and gives above and beyond to their customers. The technician himself was great. But the follow-up was not great: after diagnosing our air conditioning unit on a Tuesday, and promising to replace a part on Thursday, we heard nothing from them about whether the part was available or when they expected to get that work done. A call over the weekend to them only got us a promise that someone would call the following week. This after having charged $89 just to show up.
Barrington with Cooper has always been prompt, professional and friendly. Hes been keeping our furnace in top condition for years and weve never had an issue.

He advised me that they would be able to use some of the old components to save money. I especially respect this from a company, many times components are replaced just to increase the job profitability. I highly recommend them due to their honesty and professionalism.
I had my air conditioning unit installed at the same time workers were replacing my roof! The roofers showed up earlier than expected and I wasnt sure the Cooper guys would be able to do their work but they courageously took the challenge and got everything installed and working by early afternoon. They were courteous, knowledgeable, hard-working and gracious, especially considering the circumstances. I would recommend this company and its workers to anyone! I purchased a full HVAC system 2 years ago. I was told I was part of the Green Club at the time of installation. At the 1 year anniversary I find out that Im not. After being blocked several times by ladies answering the phone, I was finally speak with the service manager. He apologized and said that I would be. He said they had a problem with the program and would be sending out letters to all of their customers. I never got a letter. I am now at the 2 year anniversary and need the annual maintenance to retain the warranty on my system. Again, they want to charge me full price and say that Im not in the Green Club. Again, im trying to contact the service manager and am getting blocked every time I call. To top it off, the expansion tank they installed 2 years ago on my water heater appears to be faulty. This is reported by the inspector for the contracted buyer on my property. I guess Ill have to drive to their office in order to talk to the right person.
Tomorrow our temperature is supposed to drop to 25 degrees. You can imagine my panic when we turned on our furnace on Sunday and it ran through the night then nothing. The thermostat appeared to work fine but the furnace was not responding. I contacted Cooper Heating and Cooling and they advised me that they could have a technician out to my home on Wednesday between 9:00 am and 11:00 am. Cesar C. Arrived at our home and was a very polite and professional. I was a electronics technician when I was in the Air Force but this furnace was way beyond my expertise. Cesar opened up the furnace, made a few measurments with his meter and removed a relay. He then checked the relay and went to his van, and to my surprise he had the relay needed in his van. He replaced the rela and WALA the furnace began to operate! Thank you Cooper Heating and thank you Cesare. It was actually a pleasure to pay for the services he provided. PS He researched it and the relay was still under warranty so I was not charged for the relay.
I highly recommend Tom Wingert at cooper. My furnace wasnt working and it was 10 degrees outside last night. I have two children getting over colds and needed help. Tom was at my house within 30 minutes and had the furnace working within another 30. Thank you very much for your great customer service.
Our furnace had sent an alert and stopped heating. Called Cooper and a repair man, Tom, arrived in the next 2hrs to fix the problem. He was very pleasant and professional. He checked all systems, ducts, filters and codes. He did have to replace the high altitude pressure switch and check the motor. Had everything back together working perfectly. Dion and Chandler are two exceptionally professional installers. They were on time, went straight work and they kept me posted through out and answered every question with a smile. As they were going out, the unit began to squeak just as they were loading up the truck outside. I called them back in to listen and they diagnosed the issue, pulled the fan, tightened and adjusted and--- voila - no squeak and the perfect furnace. Dion explained that occasionally units may come with fans that may need to be adjusted and tightened due to shipping handling...and if that was not the case, they would replace the motor immediately. I cant speak highly enough about these two professionals.In 2015, they installed a new Lennox AC system and have serviced it ever since. Barrington is the name of the tech whole annually services our system He is incredible as well and exemplifies the standards established by Cooper.Last, I received 4 bids including this one and they were the best price with the best warranty.Thanks to the Green Team for all they have done for us!

Where do I start on complimenting and giving my reference for this outstanding Costco vendor!!From Debra Saheb, the lady at Costco that I talked to about the Lennox product and the company that would do the work if I selected them for my project - - Cooper Heating and Cooling --the lady who answered my phone call and made the appointment for my estimate, Terry Cannon the gentleman who first came out to look at my existing furnace and boiler and estimated the project cost, Steve Altman, who handled the project paperwork and payment arrangements, Leslie and the other administrative staff to the absolutely fantastic installation team of Mike, Matt and Justin --- I have never worked with a more professional, honest, thorough, caring, dedicated, detailed, and just nice group of people. IIn todays environment where all companies seem to be truly swamped with work -- which is terrific - companies can cut corners, throw out numbers not really caring what sticks, they can employ sub contractors - etc.Cooper Heating and Cooling our of Broomfleld Co does none of the above!They are honest in the estimates, determine what round peg will work best for this round hole not try to force a product because that what they sell like one of the companies that gave me an estimate did. Not shoot high on their estimate or like another company try to low bid but then everything was an extra option.The are complete in their paperwork, when I had questions they were prompt in their replies - just completely 1000% great all around company!And they all enjoy their jobs - you can tell when people like who they work with each day and the work that they do -- and when people dont. I love it since I am old school it is the keep it simple thermostat - they have others for those who like to program things but I asked for the easy one!!I went into the crawl space and Matt showed me exactly how everything was put together, explained everything about the pressure gauge, the condensation drains, showed me everything and explained it where I could understand it!!They have an outstanding warranty thru Lennox and Cooper Heating and Cooling and I am going to have them maintain it - each year.They made sure everything was clean and neat where they had worked and let me take pictures of my dear old furnace as they hauled it away to be recycled. They are also a green company !!!Just simply outstanding young men!!!! So - I know this is just a little short of a thesis - but I truly cant recommend this company high enough!!!!Since they were thru Costco that was my first secure feeling about the company - although to be sure I did get two other estimates just to compare. Their pricing was the best and although I dont do low bid wins in this case it was.So thank you Cooper Heating and Cooling, thank you Lennox for your product which a lot of it and the components are made in the good old USA, and Costco for only having vendors who even exceed your own reputation as a great company !!! The Cooper salesman (Curtis), service tech (Santosh) and installers (Chris and Aireus) were all top-notch! Chris and Aireus were very competent, able to explain clearly what needed to be done and what needed to be corrected to install the furnace for ease of access. Plus, they were very careful to protect the vapor barrier and radon mitigation system that had been installed previously. I had complete confidence in the work they performed. Plus, they were friendly, easy to have around, and they went above and beyond what was expected.

I called to make an appointment and I had to wait 3 weeks for someone to come look at my air conditioner. Today is the day and they are 2 1/2 hours late. If my warranty was not with this company, I would be calling another company. I would not recommend Cooper to anyone.
We live in Arvada and had Cooper install a new furnace for us just before Christmas as our old one was on its last leg. The new system was working well for the most part, but we felt like the temperature evenness in the house didnt feel quite right. They sent out of their technicians, Cesar, to check it out. We had an 8am-10am window, and they showed up right at 8 (which I LOVED, not having to put my morning on hold waiting). They were out for a good chunk of time and did a really thorough check on the thermostat and furnace. He ended up changing the fan settings, and that seems to have fixed our issue. There was no charge per their warranty, which was great. Weve had great experiences with them!
The crew of Dan, Martin, Mike Sipp, and Scott Townsend installed a new heating and air conditioning unit in my house and they did an outstanding job in a professional manner. Would recommend them to anyone !! Way to go guys !!

Our heat went out so we called Cooper and they told us they would have some one come out in 45 mins to look at our heater. A hour later they call my husband back to tell us they will not be sending anyone out till maybe tomorrow!
