The key was cut perfect. Just do not like the bottle opener style as much as i thought i would. there is not enough Key Head to turn key comfortably. Other than that the key works flawlessly.

I called in because my car would not respond to my key fob. I spoke to a dispatch on the phone and informed them that: (1) my car would lock with the key fob (I heard the mechanism when I pressed the button, and saw headlights flash), (2) my car would not unlock (heard nothing and saw no headlight flash), and (3) I could not physically get the key to unlock the car by sticking it in the keyhole in the door and turning. I was assured a new key would fix all this.Locksmith showed up and took a quick look at the situation and the facts above. He told me a new key would not fix a mechanical issue and I probably needed to go to a shop to get the door looked at, and it would be a waste of money to get a new key for several hundred dollars. He called the dispatch and I spoke to them and we explained the situation and that he would just unlock the car for me. It ended up being a purely mechanical issue and we had to unlock the passenger side as the drivers side door had physically locked up. The company still charged me the full $322.49, as if I had received a new key! Terrible dispatcher service, terrible administrative service, good and honest locksmith.

KeyMe is a scam! Ensure your technician informs you of their cancellation fee ($25.00). Its not the amount of $, its the principle as I was not made aware of this when speaking to the customer service rep. And only found the charge when viewing my bank statement 3 days later. Do business above board from the beginning!! I went with Intellikey Locksmith out of Roanoke whos prices are far more reasonable ($95 as opposed to $234.18), and the locksmith Phillip was more personal and professional in his approach. My wife texted him a picture of her key and he had me in the house in less than 15 minutes.

First, I love the concept and the quality of the kiosks. These kiosks are easy to use, and while you have to wait a few days for the new key to be shipped to your home (you dont receive it from the kiosk) the kiosk scans your key quite quickly.I needed a new key for my Ford 2009 Sedan. I ultimately purchased a copy at this kiosk and the KeyMe in Irving off of MacArthur Blvd; both keys neither opened my car door nor started the ignition. When I tried this location (Colleyville) and it didnt work, I figured the kiosk was having issues, but when the key from the Irving KeyMe also didnt work, I realized that the issue was more likely KeyMe and my particular car.The reason why I didnt rate KeyMe only 1 Star is b/c both times I called KeyMe customer service, I received courteous customer service, and they gave me refund confirmations both times quickly. Moving forward, Ill go to a different group outside of KeyMe to get a new key, but KeyMe does provide good customer service. Also, perhaps they provide better quality for other cars outside of my cars model and year!
