This place is awesome! The team is very friendly and really care about their customers. I took my car to check if its safe for a long trip. In spite that they were super busy, but they didnt turn me. They said they will check it to make sure nothing is broken or urgent!

I’ve been going to Sevcik’s for 20+ Years and never once had a complaint. It’s the one place that I know I can do business and not question anything! almost unheard of today. They are always fair in price, work, and quality. I never have to worry that I’m going be taken advantage of in any way, shape or form. To have that kind of trust in a company is priceless.

The Air conditioning in my daughters car was not kicking on, we had already spent $200 at another place and it was not fixed there, Jose took his time out on a Hot day to do a quick check to find that it was just a relay (fuse), and had us go buy a new one and we installed it ourselves. Jose was amazing, professional and a downright amazing person as well as diagnostician. We will definitely be back to Sevciks when her vehicle needs work. Thank you Jose!!

Best service I have ever received for car repair! Within 3 hours of me dropping my car off, they identified the problem and had my car fixed and ready to go. Not only was it the fastest I have ever had a car repaired, the management and staff is phenomenal. I have used Sevciks for many years, mainly as a servicer of my vehicle for standard maintenance and oil changes. I took my vehicle in today for an issue and they were very honest about my options for repairs. Ultimately, it was in my best interest to use my warranty to repair the mechanical issue at the dealership, and while they wouldnt see any profits from this recommendation, Sevciks was upfront with the option that was in my best interest. I will continue to drive 30 minutes just to have them routinely service my car; customer service is worth it.

Jose there was very helpful to me today and saved me a couple hundred dollars by replacing my headlight bulbs on my suv! I was told by a place before that it was difficult to do when in actuality Jose showed me that it wasn’t at all! Thank you!This place is also very professional and courteous even when I come to get gas. I literally never have to get out of my car! Plus they top off fluids as a courtesy!

I love this place and the people who work here! They are super fast and offer fair prices. I came in the other morning before my shift started because my car was having some problems and they took me to my job! They touched base with me throughout the entire process and explained to me in detail where the money I spent was going towards to fix the problem. Also, since I’m a student, they offered me a student discount and wavered the diagnostic fee! Furthermore, I was working a double and couldn’t come pick my car up, so they literally brought my car to my work! Jose who works here also told me to come in the next day because as he was driving my car, the windshield wipers weren’t of quality, and he is putting on new wipers for me for free! Coming here always makes me feel appreciated and taken care of.

My tire blew on the highway last Friday, so as soon as it happened I knew my next stop would be at Sevicks Service center. It was already 6pm (their closing time), so I was worried that I wouldnt be able to get help. However, as soon as I pulled in, Jose was the first to jump up and help me. Even though the shop was already closed, he was more than willing to help me. Not only did he remove my old tire by putting my car up on the lift, but he also drove me to the Walmart next door to pick up a tire since they did not have the tire I needed available at their shop. Then, he brought me back and mounted the tire back onto my car. He also educated me about how to keep my cars maintenance up to par and for that, I am so grateful. I want to start this off by saying I am a very non-confrontational person and this is actually the first negative review Ive ever taken the time out of my day to write. But after my brother Rami posted a supposedly ludicrous review as the owner Mark replied, I decided I needed to give the actual story with receipts. In the counter statement, Mark replied that I was estimated at $450 for the alternator, $345 for labor and a $55 diagnosis fee for a supposed grand total of $850. Over the phone, I was told $450 for the alternator and $500 for labor (no mention of the $55 diagnosis fee which I was told about when I picked up my car and I paid with no protest). I was quoted over the phone for $950 and the diagnosis paper I fortunately requested (as I would be made out to be a liar if I had not) a physical copy which states a total quote of $960. Either way, over the phone I was told $500 for labor. I do appreciate that when I asked if I could bring in my own part, they were wiling to do so. But ultimately I declined because $500 for 3 hours of labor seemed quite unreasonable. Anyways, my brothers ludicrous review was nothing but the truth and actually I am sad to say that the owner either made a mistake resulting in a discrepancy of $100 in the estimate or lied?Just an update because I am truly flabbergasted: My dad came to town and towed my car to a family friends repair shop in Houston. My alternator was not even bad! It was just a loose belt. I was quoted over $950 and paid $55 for a completely incorrect diagnosis. The problem was fixed for way under $100. Truly wish I could get my $55 back because I dont even understand how that was missed if there was supposedly a thorough diagnosis. Frustrating, especially since those $55 couldve gone towards buying textbooks.

I was given an estimate over the phone and when I went to pick up the car I was told a much higher price than the original estimate. They were entirely compliant and waived the fees in order to return the price to the original estimate. I will absolutely come here again.

UNNETHICAL business practice. Zero star if I could. They charged me for premium parts but installed cheaper parts as well as extreme parts mark ups on some parts. Overcharged me $382.00 based on the cheaper installed parts and mark up of others. The cheaper part failed in a week and they did replace them with what I had paid for however No explanation of what happened was given and I told them this looks really bad. Then they replaced a part without authorization and charged me $100 for the part after work was already completed. No alignment check was done after axle and strut replacement. Owner said it didnt need it. That is an automatic check with that kind of work but was warranty work so I presume they didnt want to. I gave them every opportunity to explain the bate and switch of parts and parts gouging but I have not received any response.

Ive been in College Station almost half a decade, and there arent a lot of choices for general car repairs and Ive been to many of them. Ive taken multiple vehicles to Sevciks >5 times over the years, and theres a few key things Ive noticed:- When something is wrong (leaks, cracks, sounds), they show you the problem in-action instead of just saying that something needs to be replaced.- Theyre not afraid to tell you something doesnt need to be replaced (even if its making noise, and theyd make more money by replacing it early)- If the problem is obvious merely from what youre telling them, theyll recommend what you should do without an inspection. Theyll tell you when you can easily replace it yourself with something from AutoZone. So many other shops require a full inspection, even for the most trivial/obvious problem.- Theyre not afraid to recommend other placesThose are pretty good honesty-indicators in my book.Do be aware theres an inspection fee (I think it was implemented some time in the last 3 years). Theyve always told me about about it, theres a sign on the desk, but just know that encase they forget.In my personal experience, theyve been punctual, transparent, up-front with costs, and the completed work seems to have been done well. Theyve responded to questions during off-hours, and (pre-covid), offered me food when I had been waiting awhile on my ride. Ive believed there were mistakes before, and theyve been happy to review (and they ended up being right).Ive been happy with the pricing, but you can decide that aspect yourself.Lastly; they arent a pushover. One time an impolite customer was yelling at a mechanic. The owner stepped in, straight up told the customer theyre being absolutely disrespectful, and that they should take problems up with him instead of insulting his employee. Dont be afraid to confront them over an issue, but I wouldnt recommend being aggressive or trying to get work done for free with a long sob story.

Pat and Mark run a class act business. They have old fashion values, which I appreciate. I trust them with my familys vehicles and take our fleet vehicles to them for anything from maintenance all the way up to major work. I wouldnt ever use anyone else.

I had the coolant system on my 06 mini van completely break down on me, to the point where I had coolant boiling in the reservoir tank after a 5min cool down. When I went and got it towed into Sevicks on Sunday I thought the olgirl was gonna be out off a week minimum, but low and behold to my surprise they were able to replace the radiator, the reservoir, the pump, and put a new timing belt system in all before the end of the next Tuesday. Patrick made sure to contact me personally to give me the diagnosis, break down of cost, and estimated repair time with the friendliest demeanor. It felt like I was getting service for triple of what I paid for, and I will full heatedly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a mechanic.

I came here because I read reviews and this place is close by my home. I’ve been experiencing some type of short in my truck I keep having to get a jump two to three times a week I finally got fed up and came here and when I tell you I was extremely impressed! Mike helped us and this guy knows what he’s doing! Very knowledgeable,I told them what’s wrong they told me to pull around back and they will check my battery and alternator for free! We found the issue and they promptly replaced my battery. I drive a 2500 extended cab Chevy and they charged $200 for a battery and labor!! These guys are great!

I went to Sevciks and they were so respectful and kind right off the bat. The owner immediately asked me my name and shook my hand, which definitely helped to calm my nerves. Found out that it really did not need an oil change, the place that change the oil last time just did not reset the notification. They could have ripped her off for an oil change but did not

Sevcik’s saved me thousands. I took my car to a franchise auto repair and they quoted me $6,900. I wanted a second quote so I took it to them. Many of the items the other place said needed repair did not need fixing at all. When I picked up my car from Sevcik’s my bill was less than $800. They also had my car back to me within 24 hrs. I’ll never take my car anywhere else.

I was driving down the road when I heard something scraping along the road, after getting home and inspecting it, a screw had come off from my undercarriage splash tray. My mom has told me to try Sevciks because it was so highly recommended. Called and they said they would be able to fix it no problem. Went in, they told me to pull right up to the garage and Flores fixed it within 10 minutes. They charged me absolutely nothing and as a broke graduate student that meant the world to me. Thank you so much guys! Will be returning if my car needs anything fixed!

Had a wonderful experience here. Got my oil change in under 30min for only $40 and they even offer student discounts. They also noticed one of my brake lights out and fixed it in under 5min for free. Shout out to Jose for going above and beyond on customer service will definitely be coming here from now on for all my car needs.

Tried to charge my kid sister 450 for an alternator and 500 for labor. This is an absolute rip-off. As a mechanic I know her alternator is $200 and what is the labor rate at this shop?! Absolutely outrageous and would not recommend to ANY students who are having mechanical trouble. Shame on this owner for trying to turn such a huge profit!

These guys are contractors of AAA, so Taylor was sent to me to help me with my battery. He explained what he was doing the entire time and helped me understand my battery and car better! He came quickly, was very kind, and solved my problem. I look forward to using these guys as my regular car mechanics!

I really enjoy Sevciks because of their wonderful customer service and their honesty. Ive never had them do any work without first giving me an estimate and ALWAYS giving me the option of whether or not to do it. Also, theyve been very informative in the past about what is the most urgent work that needs to be done, and what can wait. Sometimes they can be a little busy (which isnt a bad sign, necessarily), and it can be hard to call in and find out an update on your vehicle. However, they always greet you with a smile, listen to the issues, and come up with the most efficient way to help the situation. Are they the least expensive in town? Not likely. Are they the most helpful? Most likely.On an unimportant side note: They have two iguanas in the lobby (used to be one big one... RIP), and just looking at the little critters can bring just a hint of joy to the usually dreadful experience of having to deal with getting a vehicle fixed.

I came here a few years ago, around 2015 (for an oil change). The customer service rep was nice in person, however, he was not good about calling me or updating me about my car. An oil change should take about an hour, right? They had to hold my car for two days. That’s already bad enough. He said he would call me when it’s finished or if it’s not, he would call me to update me. He did neither of those things. I had to personally call them everyday to check if my vehicle was ready. Anyways, the oil change itself was fine, but the process and the waiting was absolutely not worth it. Don’t really recommend here unless there are no good options.

I have three daughters attending TAMU and having their cars in good running order is a priority for me as a Dad. Sometimes, however, there is a need for an unexpected repair and knowing a reputable and honest go-to mechanic is great to have. My daughters Jeep Compass needed a brake job and I contacted Sevciks and they diagnosed the problem and quoted me cost for repair. Very fair price and great customer service. Pat and Frank were great in keeping me up to date on the repair. I highly recommend Sevciks Service Center!

We just moved to the area, and based on reviews, we took our car to Sevcik’s. Wow. What an amazing place. We had work done on our car, and when it still was acting up a bit the next day, Pat took the time to research, make phone calls, and try to get to the bottom of the issue. He was very reassuring and supportive. And Mike, at the front desk was the same. We watched him interact in a very kind way with the customer in front of us. And he remembers everyone’s name! This is a gem of a service center and we feel blessed to have found it.

Highly recommend! The staff here is top notch and very helpful. I’ve never came across an auto shop that had customer service this awesome. They replaced my brake pads, power steering pump and radiator hoses. My was car ready the same day they started working on it and at the time they said it would be ready. I waited in the lobby and got to meet the shop’s pet Iguana, Delores, which you can pet if you’d like!

Great service with old-fashioned courtesy. Our family has used Sevciks since we moved her in 1999. From routine oil changes to unexpected repairs, we have never had a bad experience. We have been advised to take some repairs to the dealer and I appreciate that kind of integrity. We also get our propane tanks refilled here. Very convenient!

I’m a college student. The installed parts work correctly but they took 6 hours of work to replace a headlight bulb and an exterior door handle. I asked them to change my oil as well and they didn’t. I supplied all the parts and was still charged almost $300 for labor.I will not be using or recommending this business and am frustrated with the time and cost taken.

I like going here to check my tires since I have tire issues. The guys are nice and dont mind checking your fluids under the hood, so dont.mind asking them ladies....you have to take care of your vehicles in order for them to work properly so, just saying...I dont.mind asking b/c that squeaky wheel tends to get oiled quickly than having thrown a rod....and remember, always tip when u can.
