Seeing all these negative reviews make me shake my head. Ive literally had some of the best customer service from the ladies at this Hertz location that Ive ever experienced. Heres a tip for you folks out there, especially you guys who never seem to have good experiences; when you are out and you encounter someone who works in customer service, treat them with respect and courtesy. I promise youll see a marked improvment in your experiences...
Everything was great until we returned our vehicle. If I could I would leave zero stars ! Upon arrival to return our rental vehicle my husband and I was very disturbed to see an employee approach two other employees in an aggressive manner. We had no trouble or confusion returning the car however, as we walked past the cliche of workers the lady in hertz uniform was speaking in a tone that could clearly be heard if My husband and I are leaving this report! She used vulgar language and hand clapping while talking to the other employees. Although she spoke to us it was as if she did not care that we were near by because she continued to loudly talk to the employees. We enjoyed our rental however we were not impressed with the customer services we received when departing the first floor. Being that we were so disturbed, we returned to the first floor to ask her name and she was not there so we asked one of the employees for her name and they politely greeted us and let us know her name was “Shawna”. Even though we have no idea what happened before our arrival there is no reason an employee should be speaking out in the open in that manner !
The car given to me was not maintenance ready. The light came on as soon i got home from the rental location. I live about 1hr 30mins from location so i couldnt take it back on that day. I called they told me take it to the shop waisted a whole day for maintenance. Then extended my rental 1 more week just for my car transmission to mess up. I spoke to hertz after hour service they promised me another car. So i had to get car towed to Atlanta airport. I call up to this location to let them know what the customer service rep told me. I was told i didnt have a contract and had to reschedule appointment. They ratchet up in this spot. They all tell you different things. Completely unorganized and unprofessional.
Received attitude from the moment I walked to counter. The lady was very rude in explaining what was needed to rent car through Uber. I traveled 45 mins here just for them to tell me that they don’t accept my bank. I can’t believe it. Why not give us a call or send an email with their long list of like 10 banks (including Bank of America) that they don’t take? Don’t come here.
The three women were extremely non-professional. For example, a lady went up to the counter and after swiping the receptionist loudly exclaimed if your card declines then thats just it, you want get another try. The lady was extremely embarrassed. It couldve been handled better.
This company is very unprofessional. We made an appointment to pick up a car, and when we got here they tell us they don’t have any cars available (mind you there are many cars in this parking lot) and would have to make another appointment for NEXT WEEK. Really??? BUT, the thing is why would you NOT call us the day before or hours before our scheduled appointment and let us know??? We drove an hour to get here. We scheduled our appointment 3 days ago, so if there weren’t going to be any cars available, you should have informed us prior to this day. Unprofessional and horrible customer service.
If i could give 0 stars, I would! Whoever the new girl is that got transferred in need to take a chill pill. We been gave a police report of a accident that took place and explained the dents are from the same accident. She says, “are you sure?” Like are you accusing me of lying honey?! Don’t let corporate cause you to get a beat down. I promise them white folks don’t give a damn about you. Now run and tell that.
This is an Uber-Hertz rental location. This is not the place for regular rentals if you are visiting Atlanta.The new girl is very rude and dismissive. Short woman with the mole on her face.I called beforehand to make sure that my appointment was good and they still had vehicles available. Everything was good.Once I got there, this new girl told me I had missed my appointment & tried to force me to reschedule. I had to get the other employees to show her that I didnt. I was actually more than on time, I was early. Then she said there were no cars available for me. I had already called to check. The other employee had to show her which car to give me. Then she attempted to charge me $50 extra per week for upgrades I didnt ask for, I had to refuse. There were other rude things I saw her do as well with other customers but Ill let them write their own review.Its ok being new but dont be rude because you dont know what youre doing. She has no respect for other people, she even talked bad about her coworkers there. Seems like shes having a bad day every day.
Had a reservation. Flight was on time and I checked in to a long line of people waiting to get their cars. 1 hour wait with a reservation. Finally got called and assigned a spot. Went to my spot in the garage and no car there. Exact same thing with 2 customers behind me. Was told to go back in to the inside counter. Customer service rep inside told me to go back out and pick any car I wanted. Walked back out and was told no, I had to wait in another line to get another car assigned. Outside rep was annoyed with inside rep’s direction. 1 hour 20 minutes from checking in and still no car.
Gold Plus Rewards Member. Terrible service. No one working the Gold Plus Rewards Member desk when I arrived. Dropped off vehicle with full tank of gas. Surprised to find I was charged an additional $109 for fuel because when they did an audit of the vehicle, they found the tank wasnt full. Multiple attempts to contact customer service. Submitted documentation to Hertz. They said they couldnt help. Would give ZERO stars if possible.
If you are thinking about renting here READ THIS FIRST! So, I understand there are a lot of people and they are understaffed. That is understandable. Based off the location alone I knew I needed to add the loss/damage waiver. When they gave me the car, it had the previous customers things in there. Also, they gave it to me with the oil/filter light on a d said I might need to take it within the 28 days of having the rental. Inconvenient first off. So I started driving Thursday. It was fine. Friday after their closing time if cut off while I was driving. Called every hertz number on the planet. No one would help. They said to talk to them Monday. So you mean to tell me I am using this for Uber but can’t complete any because the location is closed until Monday? Okay I go in Monday to switch out cars. Who wants to Uber when the car might stop with a customer in it. Flo gave me a number and said I should basically take it in. So I should pay to have the car taken care of Even though this is something that should have been taken care of? Initially I scheduled it for the Marietta location instead of college park. Unfortunately the system allowed me to schedule but that location is closed and not allowing rentals. This is the biggest mess I have ever been in. I hope Marietta starts real soon because......this is the worst. Oh by the way I am a Gold Plus member and I travel a lot. That means nothing to the Uber program or maybe it’s just that location. I have never tried Avis but I would look into it before booking at this location.
Staff very professional and very accommodating.Helped me with rental problem. Great staff keep up the excellent job.
Down to earth team that goes out they way to help customers. Love dealing with them when getting my vehicle.
