My friend and I picked out Gel color from their book of options and I chose a white with sparkles because I have a bridal shower coming up and my friend chose a green color. Mine came completely clear with sparkles and my friends color was very light tan, not green at all. My friend asked to apply another coat to see if maybe it just needed another coat to look like the color that was displayed in the book and the lady said she has already done 3 coats and would not do another. She stated the colors in the book are not always exactly how it turns out. Maybe they shouldnt even use a book to allow you to choose a color then if it isnt going to match. Will not be going back here ever and would not recommend.

Great massage on legs

I love Elite nails!!! I wont go anywhere else. Its clean and comfortable and all the staff are fantastic. Its so relaxing for the awesome massage chairs to the music and complementary bottle of water. Ive been going here for 5 years and recommend it to all my friends.

Super rude staff! Tools were pulled out of a drawer and not from the sanitizer. The lady literally smacked my hand when I wasnt relaxed enough for her during my dip manicure rather than asking me nicely. She acted very angry to have customers to work with and was talking angrily in another language and pointing at me. With all the other great places to go in town, I will never go back to this place. I will choose somewhere that appreciates their customers and acts accordingly! Edited to add that 3 of my dip nails cracked the very next day.

Called to ask them if they could do a design they said yes . Got there showed them a pic they said yes .. 2 hours later she cant figure it out it was marbleing one of the easiest to do and then they just said sorry after they dont have enough dip to finish my nails in the same color .. rude as can be and still charred me full price

My favorite nail place! Very comfortable chairs, great service and they do an amazing job. Ive had pedicures, manicures, acrylic and its all been perfect.

This was my first time here and I was very impressed. They are priced a little higher than other nail salons but worth it! The space is very clean and looks up scale. The pedicure chairs are nice and comfortable. I get pedicures fairly often (about once a month) and I felt they did a better job than other places ive been. I will be trying this place again.

Awful! I had a simple shellac French manicure and pedi done by Tracy, within two days it turned a burnt yellow brown on the tip, of course they said I must have done something but offered to redo it but I chose to just do a neutral color no shellac the second time done by Amy a co-manager, first of all it took almost an hour because she was doing a pedicure at the same time while I was sitting under a heat lamp for 20 min to melt the shellac. She was so rough buffing my nails skin was removed on several fingers in which I still have scabs over a week later also there is white nail polish from the French tips on several fingers because she rushed me through and wasnt thorough. I paid $68 for the whole mess no refund for the shellac that lasted two days just terrible service all around and wounds on top of it never again!!!

Ive been in quite a few salons all over West Des Moines, in my opinion these owners have the one I will be spending my money with. I always get compliments on my nails after a manicure and they look as good 3 wks later! Their pedicures are as awesome as the manicures. My husband will load a movie on his iPad and soak his feet for an extra long time - you dont get to do that in many places. The deluxe pedi includes a hot towel wrap. Its very relaxing...one of the few times I see my husband truly relax. Their shop is always spotless and their employees are as gracious and talented as the owners themselves. Love this salon!!
