My husband and I had the couples massage and pedicures. The booking was easy and reminders were helpful. The staff was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. It was super clean, it smelled wonderful and the music was very relaxing. It was reasonably priced for everything you get. It was the most relaxing experience. We will definitely be back!

Red Orchid Day Spa is simply amazing! Angie and her Staff are extremely helpful and the services are the best I have had in the area. The pedicures are so relaxing and done so well the polish stays on forever. I just had a facial the other night and was so impressed with the way my skin felt afterwards. Best facial I have had in a LONG while. I have been going to Red Orchid for a few years now and the upgrade to the Spa gives it a relaxing feel when you enter. I wont go anywhere else!

The service was not great! I’m like 99% sure the girl who did my massage was not a trained massage therapist. It’s not hard to tell when someone doesn’t know muscle anatomy, and is like everyone else who hasn’t attended massage school.Also it just seemed unprofessional, no official paperwork in the beginning, no introduction of names with the “therapist”, It was not a great massage and after it was done, she just left.. didn’t meet me in the hall, didn’t show me where to go, just disappeared! I will not be returning. It feels like this place is not legit.

My husband and I went here with a gift certificate from our kids. And had a couples message from Kay and Amy. It was soo relaxing and soothing. We will defiantly be returning!

I was a little worried to go here after reading so reviews about pedicures. But I had a gift certificate and wanted to get a pedicure with my maid of honor before my wedding. We were very pleasantly surprised!!! It was so relaxing to lay down while getting a pedicure. Everyone was friendly and kind. The pedicure was great and so relaxing! The only small complaint I would have is they cut all my toe nails very short, I like them long because I have small toes so when they are short my toes look super stumpy. I didn’t think to let them know not to cut them short because any other pedicure I’ve had they have always asked what shape and length I prefer. Not a big deal, I just would have preferred to be asked before they were cut! Overall great experience though and would definitely come back!

I get my massages here and they’ve always been exceptional!! I had shoulder surgery about a year ago and every time it starts to bother me I come get a massage and I can go a couple weeks with little to no pain. The therapists know how to manipulate and work my shoulder in such a way that it feels great. The owner is awesome. They have my business forever ♾

Just be careful: I called in and mentioned my groupon and they told me they were booked out until the END of October (groupon expired on 10/18). I asked if they would still take it, they said they would. Two weeks later I called in, didnt mention the groupon, and they got me in within TWO DAYS. After my services were completed (and they knew I used a groupon) I went to schedule my facial, and they were booked out until November. *eye roll*The massage was great and relaxing. My one issue is at one point the massage therapist put a super hot towel down on my back without telling me what was going on -- it was shocking and not relaxing. Just let your clients know what youre doing -- it helps! She also didnt use enough pressure - EVER.The pedicure was the weirdest one Ive ever had. First, the soak was in a giant tubberware bowl. After that, you put your shoes back on and walked over to a room with a massage table with a giant pad at the feet (much like what new puppies use to potty train on).Ive never laid down on my back on a massage table for a pedicure and not been able to see what the person was doing with my feet. They provided an eye mask, placing a tissue down FIRST (Im guessing for hygiene purposes), but it did not make me feel comfortable. So I took it off after about 5 minutes. I wanted to see what was going on, but couldnt because I was laying down. I tried to look up a few times and noticed the employee not using gloves. They use a giant file to file away your calluses (which startled me -- because I couldnt see what was coming next). I shot up to see what it was and was worried that it hadnt been cleaned from one person to the next. The pedicure concluded with an exfoliation (using oil of some kind and sugar?) and then oil of some kind being rubbed into my legs.The pedicure is okay. I could do just as good of a job at home and not pay someone $33 to do it for me. My feet were left dirty afterward (???!) and my polish flooded my cuticles.Also, given the fact that I wont be returning for the facial (Im weirded out by the hygiene practices there and the credentials of the staff), I ended up paying $50 for a weird, mediocre pedicure and $50 for a decent massage.Id use your hard earn cash elsewhere.

The ambience of this spa is very welcoming and all the employees carry a warm energy. Everyone takes great pride in their work and making sure their visitors leave satisfied. Their services are unlike others and have a unique touch to all of them. If you’re looking for a fantastic spa experience then this little place is probably what you’re looking for. Not to mention it’s an extremely clean/ well kept environment. If you get a chance to meet the owner you’ll find that she is very sweet and cares a great deal about her spa, customers, and employees and in my opinion that’s what really makes this place special. So much love is put into each service and will leave you feeling refreshed. Nothing compares to a relaxing day spent in a spa that radiates good, positive energy.

Sheena Harris gave me an excellent Facial, her techniques were Phenomenal, and when she was all done, my face was so smooth and the dead skin was off and I swear I looked 8 years younger, the lines in my face wear full, I looked like I had a face lift, and the smell of fresh orange, I was so relaxed I dreamt I was riding my horse through an orange grove, Sheena has healing hands, next time I’m in Utah I’m getting another one. This place is AMAZING!!’ I will never go anywhere else. The staff is great. I always leave my massages feeling refreshed and my body doesn’t feel airside (mostly my neck and shoulder blades. Sheena is AMAZING with facials and Ang is the best either her unique pedicures. I live this place

So i have been a massage therapist here for 2+ years now and i have seen so many changes here at Red Orchid. From the way we look inside to the customer care that everyone asks for. We have had so many therapists come and go (some on their part and some with our support) but the thing is that nobody is perfect and after reading some of these comments, i guess we are proof of that. Im sorry if you have left the spa for one reason or another, but you need to realize that breaking down a business for not being perfect is a little rough, dont you think? Did it make you feel better to say the things you did which will always be here so everyone can judge us before they even get to know us? We are just trying to survive in a world where everything is turning upside down. We make sure that everyone who doesnt have a good experience receives compensation for that and what these people on here are not saying is that we have contacted them and have tried to make things better, but they choose not to talk to us. We love feedback and we understand that we dont mesh with everyone, but to slam us down to the floor i think is not the way to do it. Yes its family owned and operated but they too need a chance to survive just as much as the bigger spas. Give us a chance to make a home away from home and understand that we do our best to give each one of you the personalized care that you deserve and need. We do listen. I will always be back to this spa and so will my friends and family because i have found this spa to be my home away from home.

I just had a girls day with my sister in law on August 26, 2016 and we had an hour massage, facial, and pedicure. The whole experience was WONDERFUL! Red Orchid was clean and beautiful and the services themselves were so so so AMAZING and lasted for the full time! And everyone was so kind! No complaints! My sister and I decided to make it a quarterly treat for ourselves!

This spa is Great! They have awesome specials going on pretty much anytime making it affordable to fit pampering yourself into the budget. My mom and I got a pedicure from them a little while ago and it was a great experience. They had a ton of nail polish colors to choose from. It was a comfortable relaxing experience. Ill definitely be a repeate customer.

I have many allergies directly pertaining to scents, lotions, and products. I had ZERO reactions. That is almost unheard of for me. The whole experience was AMAZING. I dont want to wax poetic on this spa too much, but everyone was attentive, understanding, accommodating, and wonderful. I had a massage, facial, and pedicure. It was one of the most comfortin ad relaxing experiences of my life. My best friend decided to buy a year long membership for both herself AND I. The month will be too long before I can go back for my next massage.

I went to the spa just this month. It was great! I called that day and they were able to fit me it. Other spa/massage places Ive gone require at least one day notice for staffing. However, I was in need of help because my neck and shoulders were very stiff and causing me headaches. The moment I walked in they were able to take me back to a private room with dim lighting and soft music. It was very nicely priced. I had an hour massage, which was great. I was a little sore after, but I felt so much better! I loved the light scent of the lotion. The receptions was very polite and the therapist was great! I will definitely go back.

I have been a number of times and always had a superb experience. Very professional very kind it always asks what you need. The massage therapists are well-trained and caring.

Usually go to Beyond Spa in Layton but wanted to find something more local. Not a fan. Massage for both my husband and I was subpar. It was like receiving a massage from our kids.

Been here 4 times .I get the pedicure which included a foot scrub and massage on a bed then they paint your nails. The staff and owner are very friendly and I ruined my nail after my pedi and they were so nice to fix it and fit me In their schedule since I had a cruise. They even stayed after hours to make sure I was well taken care of. Very appreciative

They threw me in a room with another woman because they over booked themselves. So I had a pedicure beside a stranger who was getting a facial. While I had my facial I had to listen to them give her a pedicure. I never could fully relax because of this and was just disturbed as to why they would do that.... The lady probably felt the same way.... Super disappointing. And the pedicure I received was grabage. My toe nails were still as long as they were when I got there. Ill go back to the Asians at the mall.

I have been here 4 or 5 times. They are very affordable which is why I go back. And I can almost always get same day appointments. Unfortunately they are not very professional. They always seem unorganized. The owner is super nice though.

Did a couples spa day package. The facial and pedicure were great, and the ladies who did them were nice. That’s the only reason I’m putting two stars. My boyfriend and I were talking about making another appointment. But then we did the massage part. He said the lady who did his was good, but not the best he has had. Which is saying something. Because the only massages we had had were in the mall at like a kiosk. But mine was horrible. She asked me if I had pain anywhere, I told her my shoulders, neck and lower back. Which, she barely touched. And she was not even using pressure which I told her I needed a lot of. She was just kind of sliding her hands across the middle of my back. Plus she kept dropping everything. But the worst part was that she was sick. She kept wiping her nose and coughing into her hand and then going straight back to massaging me. I was so grossed out. I have really horrible anxiety so I didn’t know what to say. I just laid there panicking. Afterward she didn’t say a word to me and just left. My boyfriends massage therapist offered him water and at least actually told him it was over. A day of so later I started coughing. So she got me sick. Plus the entire time we were there, we could hear the receptionist daughter (I assume.) running up and down the hall and making noise. I wanted to at least tip the ladies who did our facial and pedicures but I was so pissed about the massage that we just walked straight out the door. I will not ever go back.

I love the people at Orchid spa! They do the best they can to make you feel at home and enjoy your pampering experience. I also love the waiting room where you an enjoy a cup of coffee and snacks while waiting :)

I just had a fabulous time at the red orchid day spa today! I had a massage, facial and pedicure and I loved all of them. I have to say that was the best facial I have ever had by Kalie. Wow she is good! I live in Logan and would drive all the way to clearfield just for her and that facial!

I think I dealt with the teenager some people have talked about. I dont think she is a teenager, but is just a small girl. She was nice. The massage wasnt bad (wasnt fantastic either). But I too felt like I was shorted time. I paid for a 90 minute treatment that lasted 60 min. At first I thought I just wouldnt go there again, but got more upset when I thought about it. It is better to give them feedback so they can get better, right? Plus they have a sign that says if you are not happy with the service to call and they can do something about it.So I called the next morning and they had the check in time right, but I know that the check out time was later than when I actually left, because I was to my sisters house before they had even recorded me being checked out. At first I was worried about the ending time because I knew that I had to be somewhere at a certain time and was concerned that my time would be close. It was nowhere near close and I still had time to run an errand before being to my previously planned event. So they did show that they had shorted me some time, but claimed to take 10 minutes off the treatment, even though they acted like it was no big deal I was late, and never told me they would short me the time. Like I said, I paid for 90 min but only got 60 min. Their customer service sucked when it was not a favorable feedback. I will never go back.

Nothing like getting up from a facial and realizing the sheets havent been cleaned for a good while! There was blood and sweat stains!

For a Groupon that was given to me as a gift ( 60 min pedi, 60 min facial & 60 min massage), the overall service was good. If I was paying with my own money I would go somewhere like Sego Lilly. the lady that did my pedi and facial was good. I could tell the lady that did my massage was in a rush to end her night.. I didnt even get the full 60 min massage (about 45 min). The one thing that bothered me the most and what will keep me from coming back is the fact you could hear EVERYTHING. The people talking and laughing out in the waiting room to pots and pans getting banged around in the restaurant next door. It was hard for me to relax and enjoy the service

Ive always had a great experience and the one time I didnt have a every good massage they correct it right away, by setting me up with a free massage. I think they try hard to please the customer. I think the massages are wonder and their prices are better then most.

I really enjoyed Red Orchid Spa. It was very clean and professional. Im an Esthetician and the facial I received from Scott was amazing. I then had a pedicure from Angelina who is also the owner and it was so different then any pedicure Ive ever had, I almost fell asleep it was so relaxing. If you want relaxation this is the place to go.

Checked into the Red Orchid previously and was a bit shocked at their prices. Theyve come down dramatically, happy to say. Had a fantastic massage and sugaring there. The atmosphere was extremely pleasurable and the gals were terrific to work with. Happy to support the local economy. They are also savvy to the economy and are currently offering discounts to those federal employees affected by the sequestration furloughs. BOOYAH! Plan on returning whenever I can!

Great massage. The masseuse was great and did a great job. Only issue was the room was noisy. I could hear people talking on the other side of the wall.

They do they best pedicures! If you want your feet to feel like a million bucks and get to relax (really relax) at the same time come here.

My appt was scheduled for 3pm. I showed up at 2:55, the door was locked and no one was here. I waited for 15 minutes in the 90° weather hoping they would show up, and no one did. Terrible service. When you schedule an appt with someone you should be on time and actually arrive to provide them with the service. They wasted my time on my only day off. The Sego Lily Spa never did this to me. I just thought this might be convenient since its closer. But no.

I have been to a few Spas in the Davis county area and BJ the massage therapist is by far the best. He has great techniques and my shoulders have never felt more loose. My body feels great (yeah thats a weird thing to say but come on..) and Ill be going back!

I called today because my back and neck were hurting terribly at work. I was told they had a 6pm opening which I agreed to. I was called back 10 minutes later and asked if I could arrive at 5pm, to which I agreed. I showed up at 4:50 expecting to fill out paperwork as many salons do. I was told to wait so I sat down. At 5:20 I asked the teenage boy what was going on and he replied i dont know, the therapist came out a minute ago, but I dont know where he is. He should be out soon. 10 minutes roll by so I have waited 40 minutes now and I just walked out. Worst customer service in the world. Thanks for wasting 40 minutes of my life! I will never set foot in that place again and neither should anyone else for that matter.

My partner and I have been members of ME for a long time but theyve recently changed some things so were looking for a new place to become members. We gave Red Orchard (Ill abbreviate as RO) a try today... First off, the cost at RO is $4 more than our previous spa. Second, the professionalism at RO is non-existent. The receptionist did not greet us and was not very friendly. Our massage therapists were in home gym clothes. Their techniques seemed amateur and the pressure (which I need) left much to be desired. They were not consistent and forgot parts of the body. My partner and I were in a couple room that opened by a door in the middle of the room. The rooms were small and the masseuse kept bumping into things. Dont get me wrong, the ladies giving the massages were friendly but just didnt have the skills we were expecting of a place so costly. I dont think well be going back.*UPDATE*After being contacted by the owner of the spa my partner and I scheduled another couples massage. I got a therapist named Deja and my partner got Chelcee. We were not disappointed! My ladys pressure was spot on and consistent. She also had many depths of pressure she would use on certain points of the body. I swear it felt like she had 4 hands, it was great and I left feeling so relieved of tension. My partner also left with no foot pain of her plantar fasciitis which is such a relief! Im glad we went back and had the therapists that we needed available.

Worst spa ever. Ive been to plenty before and never have I been in such an unprofessional enviroment. Yes they have the main receptionist Britta who is an adult but she is hardly even there, so then it does end up being on the teenage daughters who are very rude and possibly arent legally able to be working yet, or Angie the owner ends up doing it and will even be on the phone receptioning while she is doing a pedicure; who wants that? No one. And one of the daughters who does look 12 but is older started doing Master Esthetics procedures when she only had her Basic Esthetics licence...also illegal. They say they want feedback but the second it is bad they dont do anything to fix it and become very defensive. They force people to pay a certain amount for a tip. They are constantly shorting peoples times even if they are on time. The prices for the quality is a total rip off. Also when they have been short on massage therapist they have thrown an esthitican in to do the job(they do this on a very regular basis so if your massage sucks that explains why) which a.) they dont know what they are doing and b.) is entirely illegal because it is not under the estheticians license. They are constantly gossiping about other employers or clients even and they dont care if they are in front of a customer while doing it. They also basically use the same facial for every person and dont personalize it to peoples skin, and any time talking about their skin and doing a consultation is taken from the time of the facial which should be entirely seperate. This spa should not be in business. If you have said you enjoy this spa, just once try a different one and you will see the extreme difference and will not go back to it. They are constantly screwing over their clients whether it is the timing of their appointment, the quality, or the customer service. I will never return to this spa and neither will any of my family or friends.
