Awesome buffet for a smallish town, super friendly staff and excellent food. A little bit more on the country comfort food side than a larger city chain. But a completely good experience all around. Would be a five star but they were having trouble keeping the food bar stocked, popular items werent available for sometimes 15 minutes or more. Doesnt sound like much, but considering most meals last about 20-30 minutes, thats a large amount of time for an item to be out. Definitely a recommend to a friend kind of place.

Cannot say how food was because I never got to eat. Walked up to counter and nobody was there so I got a glass of water and then stood at the register to pay for my meal. A girl then showed up and helped the people behind me with their drinks and then looked at me and told me that I had to get in the back of the line and start over. I told her that I already had my drink and just wanted to pay for my meal. I was told thats not how it worked there. She then told me that I couldnt pay unless I went to the back of the line and got a tray. Thats when I decided I didnt want to eat there. She was a rude, self loathing pathetic girl. How she is able to maintain a job is beyond me. I will never eat at this place ever!

This is by far the best Golden Corral Ive ever been to. It is a shame that the best is two hours from my home yet I live two minutes from the worst location anywhere! Everything was clean and well kept, from the food lines to the carpet, with cold and hot foods refreshed continually. The staff was friendly and attentive, and we couldnt say a negative word even though it was absolutely crowded when we were there. When passing through Clinton, fast food to go has always been my choice, Im glad someone else in our party made the call tonight!

We were kind of stuck here after meeting family here for a birthday lunch. It snowed so much none of us could travel back home (2 hours for each of us to get home). So we got a game, courtesy of our waitresses suggestion, and we hung out playing games and enjoying our family. It was fun, relaxing, and the service was great! We will be coming back when we all come through town again.

Its a good place to eat with a large group. You can get in and start eating very quickly. The owners care about the quality of food and service. A great place to stop in when you are heading to the lake and just passing through town.

Ive been stopping here 6 to 8 times a year since 2010. At first it was about like the rest of the golden coral . Going down hill. Then sometime around 2013 or 14 management changed or something. Ever since its been great . Good service and good food. I recommend it.

We have been meeting with friends from the Edwards area _we are from Kansas _for years now. Your selection and training process is excellent! I cant think of one instance where weve come close to being unhappy with any of your workers. The food is excellent also!

Smallest one I have ever been in and you could tell they are very local people friendly. Smaller selection of food but everything was fresh and tasty. I wouldnt go on a regular basis, but not bad if you are driving through and need a buffet.

The Clinton Golden Corral is exceptionally good. The managers are wonderful and they both jump in and help with cooking and serving people. They have it clean and sanitary. The food is very good, we go there often.

Absolutely delightful. Such wonderful, caring people, and good food. My late father loved it so much he mentioned it in his will as a memorial.

We really enjoyed the food. It was fresh, theWaitress was very much alert on her making sure our soda glasses were always full.We are fromWest Plains, Mo. Driving back from four corners and Colorado Springs. Tired and starving. I wanted Prime Rib is why we stopped. Surprise, its Banquet night only.I will be back I hope for my Prime Rib someday. I tipped our waitress, $15.00 20%And she deserved every bit helping five of us.

Food was great and hot. So much better then other locations Ive visited. Staff was so kind and are waitress was fantastic. She kept are drinks refilled and table clean.

We were headed home but a quick freezing rain maid us stop in Clinton for the night. Our hotel was by golden coral so we had that for dinner. It was the best GC I have ever had! Not sure why but the food just tasted better!

There was great customer service, but it was one of the most expensive Golden Corrals I have been to in my life 17 plus dollars for the Buffet and a drink, and the food was old and disgusting. I will not return to this Golden Corral ever again, tbh it was extremely disappointing!

Food was excellent, including teriayki steak, huge shrimp, and grilled chicken. Server was attentive and friendly and did an excellent job with empty plates and full glasses. This location is definitely better than most.

The restaurant itself is quite decent, I dont believe it is the best in the world, but it works. The selection is small, which is to expect for those who understand how small the town is. Im not sure if people notice, but it smells awful in there, once you approach the buffet, you smell countless foods mixed together, almost smelling like vomit, I can hardly stand to walk up there and get food. The bathrooms are not that clean, but that does not deter my opinion on the establishment. The service is great and the food is really good, although the steaks may not always be cooked well done, which is what I like. Still, not a bad place to eat regardless of the flaws

What is there not to like about Golden Corral? They offer military and LEO discounts as well as put on the finest feast in town. Great location and parking.

The food overall was good. Bourbon chicken was too salty. Service was friendly except when we were getting our plates. The cashier acted offended when I asked for a plate without chips in it. They had more than one chipped plate which is a safety issue. The waitresses were friendly and helpful.

This GC has been in business for years. Ive eaten here for years and never had a complaint about the food or service.The last time i visited here it was durring and heavy downpour and the roof was leaking. There were buckets in the dining area to catch the water.Convenient location, big parking lot. Always busy and always very loud.

Some of their food wasnt as fresh as it should have been. Their mashed potpotatoes were crusty, their eggs from their breakfast bar were hard and overcooked. But they had tasty food, and we liked their fried okra--better than most restaurants.

Mac n cheese was awful. The hush puppies tasted of baking soda. . The fried chicken was the best food on the buffet..waitress kept glasses full

Ate here on a Friday night which is usually good Steak & Shrimp but not tonight . The steak was well-cooked and tough and all the other food seem to be the same not a very good evening at the Golden Corral

The hamburger meat wasnt fully cooked and it tasted as if the meat was expired when they cooked it. The manager got super defensive and said that it was fine that the sauce just didnt agree with my tasting pallet. And I wasnt the only one saying that it was gross! Not many options either! I dont recommend this place at all.

About the only place in town to get good variety of fish, if you are a fish lover like I am, you will enjoy their catfish.

This is one of the better buffets I seen. The food is hot and plentiful and good.

Got here at 9.30 and they told me to wait 30 minutes. Walked in everything was set. Had to walk out and leave as Im just passing by in town. Screw them for not letting me sit and have some food, it was all ready. Excuse my rant but Im hungry. Taco bell it is I guess.

Against my better judgment I was convinced by my husband and 6 year old son to try this place out after soccer practice on 4/5/18. We walked through the doors at 6:45 on a Thursday and immediately we were hit in the face with a very unpleasant smell. There was 4 of us...two adults and two kids ages 4 and 6. I thought it was kind of expensive for just 2 buffets and 2 drinks, but thats neither here, nor there. My son goes with his dad to the steak station and my daughter goes with me to fill her plate. Before I get to the completely disgusting part...I might add that the steak that was put on my sons plate was ice cold, so they replaced it with a different steak, which was still cold...come to find out the grill wasnt turned on?? Anyways, Im going around the buffet trying to find something my daughter will eat. She chooses a piece of pepperoni pizza, a chicken strip and a itty bitty scoop of mac n cheese. I take her back to the table and I start getting her food cut up so she can eat and then I can go back and get my plate. I havent even sat down yet and Im bending over cutting her chicken strip up and I use the fork to move her pizza over so its not touching her other food and when I scoot the pizza over ...there is a COCKROACH laying upside down with its legs moving around!!!!! I literally all most lost it! I flag down a waitress and turn to my husband who is just now walking back to the table and I show him. He says nope...were done, lets go and we all get up from the table. I didnt make a scene, but my kids were very upset because they wanted to eat and didnt understand whats going on. Another lady says shes very sorry and asks if we want a refund, which obviously I did. I mean come on!! This is NOT ok!

My daughter, myself, and a friend had lunch and it was wonderful service good food and great waitress staff. I do not eat out often but willbe back again when I choosecto go out again.

The food was okay, a little bland. Not much variety. There is steak, but not much other good food. When I went, the chocolate fountain was broken. A little on the expensive side, especially on weekend nights.

Not very friendly, dirty, prices are high. There was food that sat on the buffet that NO ONE touched....the meatloafs red sauce looked like fondant, not tomato sauce.
