As a busy mom I love Tandem Tire! I have been using them for twelve years now. They’re reliable, professional, courteous, & helpful as they take great care of my van! They have a comfortable waiting room and even a small kids area. They always take time to listen to me and explain everything well. They helped me pick out great tires based on my needs and I love the free tire rotation and repairs package that comes with buying tires from them. I won’t buy my tires anywhere else because I appreciate the value and extras they include here to keep my van running smoothly!

About 3 1/2 years ago I went to Tandem tire Co and purchased tires for my boat trailer. They said Power King Trailer tires were their best, with a full warranty. Last week I blew a tire, Mary called they said the tires were under full warranty, I took the tire to the man my wife talked to and all was good. Then the Manager took over, He said I have to look at the tire, he said it looked like a nail blew the tire, Hard to believe whatever. He said we dont have the tire in stock I can order a new one great,,, he never said it was not under warranty or it will cost me to replace it. I went to Tandem today Friday the manager puts the tire in my truck and said did you get your paper work, I said do-I-need-it, yes,,, we go in the store he said I owe $90 for the tire, installed on wheel and they forgot to balance it, I said for what; he says the tire is not warranted,,, What? you did not say that to me,,, we get in to a debate, he is not budging. When I went there on Tuesday he treated me like an uneducated low class person. That does not bother men, older people are treated like that all the time, I got home today with the new tire and it is not the same brand of tire, you would think he would have given it to me for cost, not good business ethics and I feal I have been cheated,

I’ve been going to Tandem for a year now. Always get friendly service. Today had my car in for an oil change and asked if they could get the stripped screws out of my license plate so I could put the new one on. When my car was done they had my new license plate on with the sticker.

Yesterday, Monday, I went to leave my parents house and head back to Wisconsin but my car wouldnt start. I tried charging the battery but that still didnt work. I called Tandem and spoke with Terry and told him that I was to start teaching summer school on Tuesday, and that I really needed to get back. Terry went above and beyond by driving to my parents house to see if he could get it started. After several attempts he said that the starter was bad. He called a towing company to come get my car and bring it down to Tandem. Since it was the end of the workday, he said that even though they were super busy he would get me in Tuesday and get my car fixed so that I could be on my way. Though I could go on about my experience with Terry and Tandem, the bottom line is that I was very impressed by the customer service given and am appreciative of the effort put forward to get my car fixed at the last second. This was a job well done and the cost was very reasonable, actually, lower than what I was thinking it would be. I highly recommend and would trust Tandem Tire for any service you may need.

The tire being replaced was a load range G 14 ply tire. The equipment used to remove the tire was not heavy duty enough to dismount it. The employees resorted to using pry bars which are inherently dangerous. I have 2 suggestions 1) provide the correct equipment to reduce the risk of an employee injury. 2) require employees to wear gloves to keep from injuring their hands. Metal shards from the rim did draw blood from one employee. I did admire the efforts by the employees to complete the job. They did not ever give up.

The personnel at Tandem Tire were very accommodating when scheduling my exhaust repair and tire rotation and balancing. They were friendly and well prepared to do the work. The work was completed ahead of the estimated time and all of my requests were performed as requested. I definitely recommend Tandem Tire for tire repairs, replacement, and automotive work.

Ive been taking all my vehicles to Tandem Tire for many years. Ive seen faces come and go but the service has always been excellent and I know I can always trust them. They have a new manager Mike who has been an excellent replacement to Morrie who was also great! I look forward to many more years of great service from them!!

Terry at Tandem Tire in Clinton Iowa was very knowledgeable,professional, and helpful. We had opened a warranty claim through Michelin for tires on my wife’s vehicle. Michelin honored their 60,000 mile warranty on the tires and paid for 50% of the cost of new tires to be installed. Of course I did not want the same make and model of tires to be put back on, so they were replaced with BF GOODRICH Advantage Control tires.Great customer care and professional place to get vehicle worked on.

They are very flexible with my schedule and accommodate my every need. I have never had any negative issues with dealing with Tandem Tires. Theyre under new management, and Ill be honest - they dont have all of the kinks ironed out yet. What they do have figured out, however, is honesty and respect. The new manager is a hard-working and upright man. He wont let you throw your money away.Give them a shot. Youll be glad you did!

I got told i needed new tires and that should fix one of the problems i had and that absolutely did not fix anything. Now i just spent the money i needed to fix my transmission. Not happy

My oldest daughter had her brakes done here last July with the previous management. Started having a issue with them a few weeks ago. Must say I was very pleased with the new management and how they stepped up and honored the previous work done..Got her car in asp and fixed the problem for no charge...For all you dads out there honesty and reliability are huge for the people that take care of our girls...I highly recommend them and will take all my business there from now on...If for no other reason the piece of mind alone is worth it...

Had tire that was low 2 days in row, was camping for the week, so look for tire service and found Tandem. Although it was close to lunch time they got my truck in and fixed tire, in & out within about 1/2 hour. They were very pleasant and helpful. I had my dog with me and they let him hang out inside with me.

Tandem Tire was so easy to work with and they helped pick the right tire for my car. They ordered the tires I wanted and I had them put on the next week. I would recommend them to anyone needing tires and alignments. The entire staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

I have had very good experiences with Tandem Tire. Oil changes (all done on time) and will look for the best prices / and speed for finding parts for you.

Well I told the the size of my tire 3 times over the phone. Had my fiancé drop off wheel with old tire on it and they still gave me a tire that was the wrong size. Now everytime I turn left the tire rubs the inner wheel well. If u do tires you should be able to at least read the old tire size and match it correctly. I work 12 hr shifts 6 days a week and have no time to go back, which I explained to him before he even ordered the tire. I feel like I got taken honestly. Even Walmart can order the correct size tire...

Helped me get my year one 17s mounted and balanced and charged me lass than was quoted because the manager didnt think my wheels counted as low profile. Great service and Ill be back next time.

Called late morning in a Friday for a screw in my tire and the guys Terry and Mike were able to fit me in before the holiday weekend and got me on my way. KUDOS

Tandem staff were friendly and professional. Promptly texted me and kept me up-to-date as to when the tow truck would arrive. Got my van with a flat tire towed to their establishment, and fixed the same afternoon. They even stayed after closing time to finish the job, knowing that I was from out of town, so that I wouldn’t have to return the next morning. I would recommend them to anyone.

I went there two weeks ago to get a price on tires. I was quoted a price. They had the tires in stock. But I need Saturday service and they don’t offer it anymore because of COVID-19. I bought the tires cheaper at another dealer the very next day and got them installed (yes it was a Saturday). Today unfortunately I picked up a nail in one of the tires. I went to Tandem to get it fixed. They advertise “emergency tire repair”. They were booked solid for the day with oil changes. I thought that they were supposed to be a tire shop. I didn’t see the jiffy lube sign out front. Never again.

Tandem fixed my leaky tire at very short notice on a Friday afternoon, and in a very quick manner!!The facility is very clean, and staff members I encountered were friendly and knowledgeable.

My tire pressure indicator light came on. I called Tandem where I purchased my tires with the extended warranty. They fit me in next day, checked & rotated my tires.My tires were over inflated plus I had a sensor go bad..The young man at the counter came out with me & showed me the sticker on the door panels that gave the pressure for my tires ...
