The service was prompt. The cost was very reasonable! The problem was resolved within a hour!
I have a protection agreement for my hot water heater. The water heater started to leak. I called on 9/30 and they could not come till 10/2. The technician confirmed that the water heater needed to be replaced. He said I would be contacted within 24 to 72 hours. Im still waiting to hear from someone. In the meantime, my husband and I, who are senior citizens, only have cold water and have to turn it off when we are not using it to lessen the leakage on the floor. Every time we turn the water on we have to mop the basement floor. As a result of the water on the floor, we cannot turn on the furnace. If I try to call to check on the status, I just get the computer runaround. This is a hardship for us.
The technician came to inspect the washing machine. He drained the washer and determined the drain pump wasn’t working. He replaced the pump. However, he left off a plastic insert handle in the side, as well as a couple screws.
What Sears promised as service for the cost did not occur. I paid to have five appliances checked. The technician would not ever look at all five but I was charged for the five. The technician asked me the issues I had and based on my information offered a solutions. This entire offer from Sears is a rip off to any and all consumers.
The repairman was courteous and professional. He quickly pinpointed the problem and made the repair.
I called to get my dryer fixed. I told them the part I needed. I had previously bought my dryer from Sears so they had the model number on file. The technician arrived WITHOUT the part. I paid 100 dollars for the tech to tell me the same part that I told them that I needed. I waited for 4 days and still don’t have a working dryer. I wish she would have told me that she was sending the tech out without the part instead of spending time trying to get me to buy the appliance plan.
