This is the 2nd time we’ve used Helm. They are professional, incredibly skilled and so responsive. It’s fantastic to have a locally owned business we trust. I never want to need to have the plumber out, but today they came on short notice and worked into the evening to fix the problem. A company you can rely on.

Had them once for plumbing and was accidentally overcharged and the owner sent me a check back promptly. Would use their services again.

Called on Monday to have someone come look at a water main leak. Told them I have been without water for a few weeks. After a week I just called back and was told they would expedite my ticket. Since then I have found my water line and the leak without them. I will look for more professional people to do all my plumbing work.

I have used Helm several times for electrical repair. The service tech is always professional and efficient. Prices are fair. Would recommend to anyone!

I chose this business for the first time based on their web site that stated they accepted credit cards. The web site also had a place that I could send them a message so I sent them a message about my electrical problems & asked for a phone call to schedule an appointment. After 2 weeks & no call I emailed a request for an appointment & a technician called in a short amount of time & we scheduled an appointment for a couple of hours later. The technician came on time & spent about 30 - 45 minutes at my house & fixed my problems. I asked for the amount I owed before he left & he said I would get a bill mailed to me. I got the bill about 4 months later. I was charged for 1 1/2 hours labor & the invoice sated that there was an additional 3 % fee for credit card payments. I went to the office & paid the entire bill by personal check the day after I received it. When I asked about why I was charged for 1 1/2 hours of labor the answer I got was I dont know, but Ill have the owner call you to discuss it. I was also unable to get an explanation on whether the labor charges included time traveled from the shop to my home or if there were any other factors that went into the labor bill besides time spent fixing my problems. The only information I got was there was an $80 minimum service charge that included the first hour. Since I was billed $120 for labor for less than an hour of time the technician was at my home fixing my problems it seemed to me that I was overcharged, but based on the responses I was getting I didnt think I was going to get a satisfactory answer to my questions so I just paid the entire bill. I also mentioned that no one called me to schedule an appointment based on my web site message & was told We dont do that. Also, when I pointed out that their web site mentioned nothing about a service fee for credit card payments I was told Well fix that. Its been over a week & their web site still has nothing about a service charge for credit card payments & I have not been contacted by anyone from the company again. I will not do business here again.

Called on a Monday and explained I had a water main leak right outside my house. I was not sure where my line is due to my meter being over 900 ft away. I explained we had been without water going on our second week and would like someone to come out and give an estimate for them to find and repair my leak. I was told that they would open a ticket and I would get a call in a day or two due to it being almost 3pm. I said ok and waited. The Sunday after I decided to try digging again and found my line, however because of the age of the house I could not repair myself. I called on Monday and asked about my previous ticket and was told that they would expedite it. So I found someone else to get the job done and they fixed it the same day I called to get a quote. I will not use someone that dg oes not respond or call back and I suggest you do the same.

Repairman came out and inspected job. Repairman did not call back to say if they were too busy, give estimate, or any thing else regarding dryer install and faucet replacement.
