How can anyone give a tow place a good review. They profit off of poor city planning with no parking and people who are having a really bad night and just make it worse. Of course the nature of their job reflects this. The business is run down and dirty and filled with people that are more than happy to make your life miserable or indifferent. Yet all of their equipment looks brand new and expensive.

Scammers! They have a scam set up where they tow a car on Sunday then when you go to get it back, they charge you an extra $50 because, and I quote, Were closed on Sunday. That is obviously a bold-faced lie since they towed the car that same day. If you have employees out towing cars, then you are not closed. Then they charged an extra $17 per day fee, even though the car had been there less than a day. There was no point even arguing with them since this is obviously a scam theyve cooked up. In addition, the office is a filthy mess, the staff was very late, and talked down to us when they finally got there.

Very unprofessional interaction towing my car from my own residence. Charged me $100 CASH ONlY when my car wasn’t even on their truck, after they had tried to drag it from the parking lot. Strongly hope my apartment building will switch companies due to their despicable service.

Un-safe driver…Just watched their tow truck turn left onto Superior at a red light, then pause at the next red light before driving straight thru. Based on that alone I wouldn’t trust them with MY car.

Towing company for the building I live in. I called and they told me I had to call my landlord to approve of me having a car towed out of my spot. did so she gave them permission and no one ever showed up he told me he was 20 minutes away

My sister and i had a tire went flat on the highway so i called them, they got here in about 1h1/2 and the man who came to change my tire, he lifted my tire and started taking off the lugs and not even getting all the lugs off he went to his car and when he came back he said that cleveland police need him to tow another car. Leaving me and my sister in the middle of nowhere and just said “there’s nothing i can do, it’s cleveland police “ and just left me and sister stranded. DOOOO NOT USE THIS TOWING SERVICE!!!!! THEY ARE UNRELIABLE!!!!

Scam artists that advertise open 24/7 .. they only tow cars 24/7 when you want to recover your vehicle they jack up the price and tell you they only have one person working so nobody is available in the office

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD !!!!So on 11/5 at 1:00pm I called for a tow was told 1 - 1 1/2 hours that they were tied up with Cleveland police at the moment. Then At 2:35 pm I called back to check ETA they said that all of the trucks were still dealing with Cleveland police that it will be another 30-45 min. But around 3:00pm I drove by there location and there was a few of there tow trucks just sitting in there lot while the drivers were just sitting there on their phones. Around 4 pm I tried calling again and no answer, I then called again a few more times over the next hour and it was either no answer or I was hung up on. So at 5 pm called another tow company and they were there within 20 min.. and still the next day 11/6 at 1:30pm, I still have yet to receive a call from this very unprofessional company about my tow! I DO NOT Recommend using this company!

Stuck on highway and called for a tow and they came out fast within 1/2hr. Guy was at the scene and then told me he had to leave because a cleveland cop needed a tow. Are you for real? Was literally ready to tow me then left me stranded on the highway. Told me another person would come in 10 min. NOT. What a horrible person. Nobody should ever use this business. Pathetic people. If your car gets towed to this location, you will literally never know when you can pick it up. It appears that they only have 1 person to do both the towing & also office. I have been waiting to pick up my car for 3 hours

If I could give a negative 5 stars I definitely would. Very shady towing practices!!! Sneak in at night tow your car then proceed to unlock it go through your stuff. This company should be boycotted until they are put out of business. What kind of POS company prays on people during a pandemic and so many people being out of work. Straight up predatory practices 💯

They illegal towed my car out of my own apartment rushing just predatory towing at its finest at night then when I called and told them they made a mistake cause I have a parking permit they proceeded to say “we’ll do you a favor if you can come get the car we’ll give it back to you for free.” As if I was parked somewhere I shouldn’t they are very money hungry and this isn’t the first time I’ve had problems with them I wish they would close them down already

I was told I was told that myself along with a line of cars parked in the lot of an apartment building were going to be towed unless I paid the man $60 cash.Conveniently, after I paid the $60 to release my car from the truck, he had no interest in towing the rest of the line of cars in the parking lot he was allegedly sent to tow. I believe I was targeted for my cash and insist on being contacted and refunded for the inconvenience and the blatant extortion. This was an absolutely unprofessional and humiliating experience.

These guys that came and towed my mustang, helped me out in less than 15 minutes after my phone call with them at 3 a.m. in the morning. They were super nice and honestly hilarious and the tow was very decently priced. Honest and dependable business. Thanks guys. Can’t wait to get my car back up and running!!!

My daughter called at 1pm on May 5, 2019 was told someone would pick up the car from the location she gave him the address of within an hour. He was given instructions on how to obtain payment and never showed, nor did he call back to inform her of not going to do the service. Then when we called to see if service was performed, someone else answered and said she would have to wait until he got a for service from the police, but what happened to her call from 1pm? It was 7pm when we called to ask questions. People who perform services to the community needs to communicate better.

Fairly priced, but not very professional. Came to pick up my car during business hours (11am) to an empty building. Had to call and wait 20 minutes. The person here buying my car was annoyed.During that time, a landlord came to hire them for his lot. He saw no one was there, so he decided they werent worth hiring.

Im writing this review because k n m are in charge of my apartment complex and every night me and my wife who both has parking passes has to park in the no parking zone because of the many of cars that dont have passes take up all the spaces there are 7 cars without passes by my apartment alone not to mention there are over 100 apartment here come on K n M come clean up my apartment parking lot please I dont want to complain to the office

Got a tow today from a driver name Chris. Very nice guy. The tow was less then 3 miles and cost me 95 dollars so they were definitely pricey but they had the shortest wait time and very good customer service. Chris was a very polite person

They lied about having my car and then had me stand outside their building for 30+ minutes and never showed up. when I called the police department they told me another company had it. They man taking called was very rude and non helpful would hope no one ever has to go through this why this company.

This place is the most unprofessional, worst ran business I’ve ever been to. Called them to pick up my car and they told me they opened at 10am, I waited an hour and a half for someone to finally show up at 11:30. It says on the door when you walk in the cost is $125 they charged me $185 in cash and had no reasoning behind why they were charging me this amount, then proceeded to tell me I’d receive a receipt through text message and I ha to call them 3 times and remind them to send it, if I wouldn’t have done that I would’ve never gotten one. Super sketchy place and super inconsiderate workers.

Called for a tow was told 1-2 hour wait. Waited over an hour in the freezing car. Called to check ETA, there was a new guy on shift, the previous employee never submitted my request for a tow! Was told by the new man on shift that the other person that answered the phone could have done the tow himself but was being lazy and they were getting ready to let him go anyway. No other assistance was offered was told that the rest of the night they are on duty with the Cleveland Police Department so I had to just find somebody else to help us out. Horrible!

Extremely predatory towing company, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! My car was towed from a residential lot 1 day after the plates expired while waiting for the new stickers to come in the mail. It genuinely feels like this company seeks out situations like this in their residential lots in order to squeeze revenue from tenants at those locations. Additionally, my car was absolutely filthy While I understand that what they did is legal, they operate with an extremely predatory, scummy business practice and I strongly recommend any other towing services company.

He tried to figure out the problem before he towed the car. His advice after the tow worked. We were able to start it after the tow.

I called just a little after 4PM today 8/6/2020 about getting my car towed called plenty of times answered told me everytime about a half hour just called them back 9:30pm an still same run around thats no way to do business or treat a customer all in all wasted a whole day relying on them to keep their word an do the tow still no tow cars sitting in different city still!!!

Tonight my car stalled in the middle of Puritas Avenue in Cleveland Ohio, and I have work the next day. I called a different towing company because it was listed first on google, and they immediately put me on hold. That was Kufner towing. Didn’t want to deal with it as I’ve already had a long night and there are other towing companies, so I hung up and called “24/7 Cleveland Towing” who said they would call me back in 5 minutes with an ETA. 14 minutes later, I called K & M towing and spoke to Chris. This guy happened to be in the area and was at my car in less than 10 minutes from calling. And it was 11:57pm when I called him!!! Chris is a life saver!!! I was 0.7 miles from my house and he charged me $60. Not sure how his prices are but 24/7 towing quoted $75 and they didn’t get back to me until after Chris got there.Thanks again Chris

This place is absolutely terrible. It is a joke and a scam. If you get towed, they want only cash. Report them to the IRS because they probably are not reporting the money they are getting from scamming everyone.

I have to say that I would recommend K&M to anyone who needs car repairs.. My alternator completely gave out, I bought a new one and they towed my car in about 30mins and fixed it the next day... The price i paid was well below what i got quoted from other places and now my car is running better than it was before.. thank you guys, you have a customer for life.P.Sall of their bad reviews are from pissed off people who had their cars impounded for parking illegally.

Called for a tow was told it would be an hour after 2 hours I called back and they told me they were in an accident and were in the way. After another hour went by I called again and this time was told someone called to cancel the tow. I never called to cancel the tow. I then asked for and ETA of when they would be here and they said that it is too far away. I call would have been nice so I wasn’t waiting.

They are towing people without stickers from my apartment building on Christmas eve. Visitor parking is full and there loving it! Merry Christmas from K&M towing!

Predatory towing services nice guys but ruined my daughters vacation its because you all took all of my cash wouldnt accept a card. Who expects to be towed from a rental car parking lot and your signs are not at I level.

Horrible. Horrible. Service. Called said they be 45 min, 45 min past by I called back said they needed another 35min because they were stuck at another tow. I said ok to help them out I said I meet you in 45min for tow they said ok. Another 45min pass by no calls, no show. I call back was told guy on his way. Wait 35 min never showed. Called again claim guy was there I told them his was not. Was told he should be and they didnt know where he was at but could I give him few minutes they know he be pulling up wait 20 more min called back and canceled tow. Went with *Icon Towing* they said 20 min, they were there in 12min and was $25 cheaper. I suggest people use *Icon Towing* if you want the job done on time, friendly service, and reasonable prices. I will never use K&M Towing.

UPDATE: Read the business’s responses to its complaints. They are as rude and unprofessional as their business.Absolutely unprofessional. I filed a complaint with my property manager due to the way that the owner of the company treats the people thats cars are towed and then he berated me when I picked up the car because I made the complaint. Regardless of the reason that a persons car is towed, there is no reason whatsoever to treat someone with such disrespect. I was trying to explain to the Man how he made me feel and he immediately interrupted me and told me that I didnt need to cuss at him like I claimed he was doing to me. All I was simply pointing out is that when a customer calls thats going to be paying you over $120 to pick up their towed car, it would be nice to use some tact and respect and explain to a consumer why their car was towed and not told them that they dont understand why theyre contacting them in the first place. I will do everything in my power to make sure my car never gets towed by this company again. And Ill make sure I tell every single person I know how horrible this company is.

Our car was in a car accident Friday night/Saturday morning. We got the name of where our car was towed Monday morning. Earnie was so patient with my husband calling to see if he were in the office and with my husband’s calls. We went to get our things from the car and sign the paperwork to release it to the insurance company. Earnie was great! So nice and helpful through the experience!

K and M like every other towing company is a deceitful racket. I am looking into filing a class action lawsuit for the illegal towing scam that they have going on at the west side market. They believe they can just have porters say if you are not abiding by the posted signs but I believe, and I am sure I will find something on this, that you should have to provide proof through some sort of surveillance device and that any form of monetary payment must be accepted. They run a cash only which is probably also against the law. If you have dealt with a similar experience comment on this post.

K&M towing have the biggest racket in Cleveland. They towed our car from a lot that wasnt marked as a tow away lot. The driver then proceeded to attempt to get three bills from us to go get the car right now. When we said no, we didnt have that kind of money on us, they said thats to bad. We called the office, was told they would bring the car back to the lot for an extra $40. We agreed. They never came. We then had to taxi after various conversations with K&M. We arrive there and now all of a sudden they dont take anything but cash, even though it clearly states that they take every major credit card. We had our four year old granddaughter with us and clearly we couldnt just walk down the streets loaded with bags. The taxi driver dropped us at Walgreens thankfully and my husband had to go in search of an ATM. Finally got cash. They then charged us $196.00. Which was 40 dollars more than what trucks are charged. So needless to say, PLEASE be aware of these crooked people. This is a racket. They have a spotter in the parking lot with the tow trucks behind the store. As soon as you leave, they call the tow. I HAVE PICTURES THAT SHOW THETE ARE NO SIGNS MARKING THE LOT. What crooks!!😡😡😡

They towed my car for no reason! I went to get my nails done on 25th and they towed it and refused to prove that I left. And then charged 120 and when I spoke to the guy he told me Im not getting my car and was so rude! When I got there they gave me a bad attitude and never even checked my ID to see If it was my car. Im so annoyed. Once I was done the one guy was apologetic but i couldnt take anymore. Dont park on west 25th!

I told her the guy on the phone said 120 she said he wasn’t aware that it was a truck” like how the hell he is not aware when he drove the damn thing. Damaged my bumper, fog lights, and wheel-well shield. They do not seemed to be too concerned to rectify this situation. Employees lie and mess around with their guns in front of you while youre picking up your vehicle.

They don’t even deserve one star. Incredibly deceitful business practices, horrendous customer service and an absolutely filthy, dilapidated facility to boot. The city of Cleveland should be ashamed to house such classless crooks. K&M is undoubtably a scar on an otherwise lovely community. My sincearest apologies to anyone that has the displeasure of dealing with these nasty folks.

I was near Gordon Square after the Dia De Los Muertos festival last Saturday night with my daughter when I came back to find a flat tire. After attempting to change it myself I called my insurance roadside service. They sent out Brian from K & M and he arrived earlier than estimated. He got us right into his truck to stay warm and sign the paper work and was very friendly and funny. Instead of just towing the car, he took a look at the tire and discovered it had a locked lug nut on it. He changed it for me and I was on my way. That meant a lot considering I was in the city at night with my daughter. :)

Took a while, a long while.

Called K & M Towing to set up a tow for my car the following day. Individual I spoke with put me on hold five times throughout the call and then assured me that a driver would be at my house between 6:30am- 7:30am. I waited until 8:15am and called and was told they had no record or drivers available to get my car. The operator then told me to find another place. What a joke.
