Here to DJ a wedding, despite the cold rain, the venue was nice and warm and the fireplace was going to set the mood just right. A quaint little venue. There’s a gazebo out near the cabin that can be used for photos as well as a rustic stone staircase from the street above near the cabin. You’ll find peace outside as well listening to the running water through the streams.

Very nice trail with old bridges built by the WPA.

We have used Bain cabin for almost 20 years and the experience has only improved. The fireplace and new bathrooms are updated. The kitchen is a very good use of space and has great appliances. The grounds are very well kept also. Check out the stream while you are there and the nature surrounding-it is wonderful

Cabin is nice for a group. Grounds are well kept. Small hiking trail along a creek. An occasional deer will appear. Playground on the far side of the park.

They do not have a wheelchair/stroller ramp next to the stairs going down from the street. If you are using either one you most was around to the entrance of the parking lot. There is no sidewalk on the street side of the park.

I love this place it holds a very special place in my heart and in my memories. My grandparents used to be the care takers of Bain Cabin. I used to come stay there from California and visit them help set up tables for receptions and wedding ceremonies. It was so exciting as a lil girl to go up stairs to the apartment where they used to live and watch from the dining room window the beautiful brides and their beautiful brides maids in the prettiest dresses ever and and dream that one day I to was going to get married there. My grandparents watching helping set up like they always did. It was so much fun and just warms my heart to be able to get married there and hopefully my grandparents spirits will be there right next to me happy that I am here and them being able to see me walk down the aisle like I had always told them as a lil girl that one day I was going to be that bride that I used to watch from the window in our lil cabin. ❣💍💐👰

Loved it!! Super setting inside and out. Rental was a breeze. Has fridge, ice maker, over, dishwasher, they provide setup and all your necessities. Totally recommend!!!

This historic Community cabin was built in the 1930s by the WPA and contains a magnificent mural depicting scenes of Fairview Park from the 1930s.To the credit of the city of Fairview Park and the Fairview Park historical society this magnificent architectural gem from the 1930s is being taken care of and cared for and the work of the original designers and architects and builders has been respected.Having grown up in Fairview Park I am very happy that the Bain Park cabin has not been subjected to an architectural pornography job along the lines of what you can watch happen every day on HGTV.If you want to rent a small party center that has the the decor of the moment do not rent Bain Park cabin. If you want a party center for a small group that has some heritage associated with it then this is the place you want to rent.
