I recently had service done on my unit that I had bought from them less than 2 years ago and we were disappointed with the overall experience on pricing. I was originally recommend to them from a friend and used them to purchase a new unit for my home. When buying the AC unit, I had a positive experience and was gladly referring them to people that I knew who were in need of new units or repairs and got similar feedback once they used their services.. Fast forward to less than 2 years later, my motor goes out and I need it replaced with a new one. The serviceman came out to my home and swapped out the motor in a timeframe of approximately 3-4 minutes. The part is covered under warranty but the labor is not and they charged me $300 just for the labor ($75 for service call). I get it - they are in the business of making money like every company should be, but after being an advocate for the company and asking if there is anything they can do with the labor cost they said no. I was just overall disappointed - maybe I am wrong, but a small discount since the repair was so quick would have meant a lot from customer experience standpoint. Everything else was a super positive experience besides the price point on the repair and hopefully they can utilize this feedback in the future.

David Getchell came out to service our ac unit before the really hot weather gets here. They were on time as they always are, They are very professional and they treat you like family. David was very thorough and very personable and tells it like it is, they had replaced my coils last year and were less expensive than Bayonet, as Bayonet was the one that installed Lennox air conditioning units in this new subdivision. They are night and day between all other AC companies, they are like family. Great job Dave and AC Guys! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Go Pats!!

Incredible experience! Randy and Tommy installed an A/C system in my workshop garage, fabricated custom ductwork and did an awesome job. Great guys, every single one of them. I was very pleased with the job and the finished product. I feel like I can trust all of my A/C work to them. Well it was at about time there was no reason to dump any more money into my 17-year-old AC unit. So I called up on AC guys because my AC needed a new motor for the fan no worth fixing so they came the next day 8:30 in the morning everything is done by 1230 Quinton was great very professional likes to get her done there was another gentleman with him but I can’t remember his name he was very nice also and yes I will recommend them to anyone happy lady thank you very much

We needed our AC repaired and they came and said they don’t have the tools to repair it, they would have to come the next week they said. However they said they can install a new unit today… so they have the tools to install an entire new unit but not make one little repair. All they care about is money. I needed AC so I just went ahead and got a new unit, they said it’s covered with warranty and they have 24/7 service if anything ever happens. Not even a year later, the unit went out so I called them to come fix it with their “24/7” service and they said they are not having any techs sent out at this time. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! They are rude, disrespectful, and only give you their time if you’re throwing away money to them. The unit they sold me was $9,000 plus labor. I just found out the same unit with another company with labor was only $7,000. Do not use these people who work out of their garage. ALWAYS GO TO A LEGIT COMPANY, NOT SOME OBT KNOCKOFF SCAMMERS.

DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING these people say. In June we called them and they supposedly fixed our air conditioner. Then due to what they did it broke again in July and needed a new Capacitor. They replaced it. At this point I’ve spent $1000. Now it broke again they did a Shorty welding job all Freon leaked out. The motor broke down and they put a new one in without asking and asked me to pay. I didn’t trust them as far as I could throw them so I called a new AC company One Stop who were awesome and when they got there AC guys had put in a Blower Motor. That doesn’t belong in an outside unit because as soon as it rains the water would’ve gotten in there and blown the whole unit. AC guys are Horrible do not trust them got screwed three times by them.

I called AC Guys because they came out the same day. That was the only thing that is positive about this company. My AC outside unit was leaking Freon, so the service guy closed the valve, put in Freon, charged $140 ($75 for service fee, $65 for Freon) and left.Two weeks later, the AC was not cooling again. We called Del-Air this time. The service guy was much more courteous, and thoroughly examined the leaking part. The same place was leaking Freon. He told me the valve should have been replaced, not just closed. There were also two valves that were leaking, AC Guys only closed one. How unprofessional and what a wasted of money. I would never recommend and reuse AC Guys.

***Edit***I have canceled my complaint but my review is staying this is the only contact that i have had with any sort of person in charge over there. even though i requested someone to talk to many times. its crazy how this is the only way to communicate with anyone in management is to post a complaint.I do not normally write reviews but my experience was so bad that i want people to be aware of these issues. Communication with the company was a problem from the start we set the appointment and 5 minutes later i called to confirm something about the billing but they had the wrong day scheduled for the appointment. This took us talking to 3 different people to get the dates scheduled correctly. this was a early red flag then during our appointment for a routine maintenance, the guy came out he was nice and quick didnt take him long to check the lines the compressor and air handler for any issues. after he finished he told us everything looked good no issues anywhere. So great he left and about an hour later my girlfriend check the thermostat and the temperature reached 80 degrees which was ridiculous we called back and was told they couldnt send anyone out to take a look at it until tomorrow morning. this was between 4-5 pm, our place already doesnt have good air flow from the windows but for it to stop working after the technician leaves and you cant send a manager or supervisor out to fix the issue is ridiculous. so they come back out in the morning and the technician finds the compressor wire was not plugged in which clearly it was before we had the check because we didnt have any issues before he came out. so im not sure if when he looked in the air handler he separated them by accident or what. but now that thats been a resolved i get told now the issue is with my thermostat he says its broken. my 250$ ecoobee is now the issue from a service call that was for routine maintenance. so the technician can not test the issue because he doesnt have another thermostat on him so he schedules to come back out in 2 days to test his theory he gets the ac blowing cold air in the mean time. so he comes back out on Monday and tests the thermostat he says its definitely the issue so i request that they replace the thermostat with the same one since this wasnt an issue before they came out. (which by the way i was not refunded for the service call or offered a refund.) i was told the office would call me to get this figured out, no one calls me for a full day so i call back so they schedule to come out on friday (which is 3 days from now) to switch out the units and they will take the old one to use for warranty. Friday arrives (which is today) they guy picks up out old unit and leaves he told us dispatch will call us to schedule a time to install the new unit. no one has called me i have requested to speak to managers or supervisors many times i wrote them an email and have yet to get any responses from management. this has been a full week dealing with this issue and scheduling time out of my working week to be there during the service calls.My recommendation is do not waste you time with them a week long ordeal in the Florida summer dealing with this issue and its still not resolved and have not heard anything from management.

Installing a ductless mini-split on 2 unit duplex with 6 heads. Will upload imaging once job is complete but if its your first big project and you need someone to hold your hands for a big AC job. Give AC Guys a try and ask for David.

The guy who came to my house today was amazing,friendly and professional he had my ac up and running in no time and was on time. I would be remiss if I didnt share my personal experience.My AC went out overnight....My nephew came the next morning and looked at it.He gave me the name of a company he has used a couple of times.I waited 10 hours for them. Finally at 9:05 pm I called AC Guys. I spoke with CB and she said how sorry she was that my dog and I had to suffer in the heat for so long and now overnight.She said someone could come in the morning. I said YES...I should have called you in the first placeMy window of time was between 10 am & 12 pm Chris arrived before 10:00I like the professionalism of this company but without the pretense. Ive gone through several AC installs over the decades. This was the best so far. Very efficient install and the final product was very neat, clean and professional looking. All the technicians were very knowledgeable and I felt no typical pressure to buy anything. In fact, I had to bring up the issue of a new unit. Their prices are competitive with others but where they really shine is their attitude. I feel comfortable having them as our permanent AC team.

Scheduled a tune up, got rescheduled 3 times. 3rd time tech showed up early which he called me and asked me and made sure it was okay.It seemed like he didnt want to do much of the service included with the tune up. Did not clean the coils outside as it should have been included with the service, and said that would be another 500 dollar service. He said the filters for my ac would be 100s of dollars as well, so never cleaned that. Asked him to clean the drain pipes, and he did, dont know if he would have done it if i didnt ask.Im out here cleaning the coils now, so I say save yourself some money and dont get a tune up. Just get them for diagnosis if you are having any issues. Also maybe use a small company that cares about their work and services.

When you call for an emergency this is the place to call. They will make time to come out as promised. Cory assessed the issue and offered us financing on the unit. They left a portable AC unit or offered to put us up in a motel. what other company does that? That is going above and beyond any other AC companies out there! They came the next day and were very prompt. We know they guarantee their work and will not leave until youre satisfied. Quick response, reasonable rates, great service even follow up visit.Update: just noticed owners response a year ago. I do not give 5 stars to work that is not exceptional. A 5 should only be given to work that goes well beyond what is expected. I had to call for follow up work because technician forgot to close something.Work that is done properly in accordance with the order and fee charged should only get a 4 star. Sold me a Carrier. Installed a unit with a Carrier logo on it. Turns out its not a Carrier, its a Payne. While manufactured by the same company, they are NOT the same in quality!!!!! Because I caught them after installation and before I paid them they refunded $375 grudgingly. Bad operation. Zero stars if it was possible!

I have to update my review. While our initial experience was positive the problem still hasnt been corrected. Weve replaced the thermostat as instructed and it didnt work. The office sent another tech out - no charge - changed a fuse and left insisting that was the problem. The unit still didnt work. Called again and the office sent a different tech- very pleasant - replaced another fuse, then the motherboard and said we needed a new thermostat. Replaced thermostat- again- w/ the tech talking me through the procedure. The unit worked for a short while and now is off again. I now have to try another company because I dont think this one is able to fix the underlying problem. 2/12: Very professional, knowledgeable, and willing to explain how our system works. Justin had our a/c up and running within the hour. Office staff was pleasant and accommodating. The price was better than 8 other companies Id called.

Our A/C quit on us a month after we moved into our new home. We called and made an appointment and they scheduled us ASAP. Justin came and completely cleaned our coils and managed our outside unit as well. He even tested our unit before he left to make sure we were going to get the cold air that this summer is inevitably in store for. Along with taking his time to explain and help us maintain the unit, Justin was overall very helpful and extremely thorough. The professionalism of everyone at A/C Guys will be the reason why I wont hesitate to give them a call in the future.

Cody and his partner did a great job from the first day analyzing my Ac and being honest with me with their best recommendations. To the second day pulling apart my entire ac and cleaning the blower and removing all 10 of my ceiling vents and installing a cool bright light inside my ac panel. I definitely recommend them and happy I found them!

Wow! I cannot say enough good about AC Guys! First, they replied to an email I sent after hours (their reply was around midnight) and were able to get service scheduled very conveniently. Then Justin Cox. The guy is seriously awesome. Very professional and he went above and beyond what I could have expected. Add to it that he was great with my son and my large dog, and I couldn’t be happier. But wait! They also charged less than I expected! WHAT?!? It would be easy to take advantage when people are desperate for their AC to work properly in the Florida heat, but they didn’t. Kudos to them and to Justin for being awesome. No doubt about it, I’ve found my go-to AC Guys. I’d recommend them to everyone in their service area.

Excellent service, after hours and weekends too...live service, not automated and impersonal. My AC unit went out and it was after 8p.m. They walked me through - on the phone- what to do, and my AC came back on - and they had a service technician- Ray Jones there first thing and I mean 7: 30 am - Ray was thorough, informative and covered every aspect of the AC unit imaginable...the air has been on since and if I ever have an issue I will turn to AC Guys and if Ray is our technician again that will be a welcome bonus!!!

The 1st time that I use this company I was grateful because the prices were cheaper than everyone else. A year later they called me which was a couple of months ago to schedule a maintenance on my units. I set up an appointment time for after 5:00 p.m. because like most people I work. On the day of the appointment early morning I received a phone call from the Technician stating he had finished early and would like to come at this time. I told him this time would not work because Im working lets keep our same time for today after 5. I waited and waited he never showed up I never received a phone calls stating that he would reschedule. Few weeks later I received a phone call from them wanting to reschedule my appointment I didnt answer the phone. Today I received a call from the representative wanting to reschedule my appointment I let her know about the situation that happened the 1st time and how I was very unhappy with that She seemed very unbothered and stated so I guess that means you dont want to reschedule your appointment OK. I will never use this company again they have 0 customer service and did not even have the courtesy to call me to tell me they were not coming.

Called them on Monday morning after a HOT weekend and they were here in less than 2 hours. Technician sent me a text with his photo and arrival time. Sure enough he showed up on time, diagnosed and went right to the problem. Had me up and running in no time. It was a small repair that he kept small without inflating cost. GREAT experience. My mother purchased a new ac unit to replace one with a bad compressor. Two years later and after her passing, I was in the process of setting her estate and the outdoor fan failed and I advised them the fan had gone out, and a technician came 3 hours late and said the outdoor fan was bad. Parts would need ordered the next day and charged me $75. I called to find out they would arrive 4 days after I had to return home in NC. A girl called and said the parts had arrived but it would be more than a week to install under warranty at a cost of another $ 225 . Had my poor mother in failing health had to deal with this BS I would not been so kind.

I couldnt believe how thorough they were and within minutes they diagnosed the problem. It only took him about an 1 hr before my A/C unit was running fantastically and on top of that, I really saved a lot! Ive already recommended them to my neighbors. Thanks guys I means A/C Guys lol.

They were very prompt and called when they were 30 minuets away. They gave me all of the options for the repairs that needed to be made. He also evaluated my system to let me know if I needed to replace the unit. It was nice that he was very honest and gave me a true analasie of my unit and only repaired the part that needs to be fixed. I would use them again for repair or installation services.

Took three visits to figure out i had a bad evap blower motor. 4 th visit to replace a new warranty motor . Ac guy left out 9 screws from cover and my huricane staps disconnected. Today was scheduled to install screws and straps. Surprise no show no call.

I’ve had two experiences with AC Guys in Winter Garden. The first time, they came out and fixed the problem in 5 minutes, while I was at work, and charged me the minimal charge. It could have been anything expensive and I would not have known, but they were honest.The second time turned out to be more expensive, which happens of course. During the process, they (Jason and Ben and the office) communicated when they were scheduled to come out, when they were on their way and would call to explain what the problem was as well as explain my options.We decided on a particular course of action, which probably saved me $2500 doing it that way. The job they did was professional and very clean. I feel like the system should run problem free for years, in fact it runs stronger and colder now than I can ever remember it running. The job they did was professional and very clean.I now have a new problem; It’s sooo d@mn cold!!Highly recommended.

We decided to go ahead and get a new air conditioning/heating unit. The technician provided us with information on the type of unit a house our size needed. The installers were very knowledgeable, and we were back with air conditioning in a very reasonable amount of time. We have used AC Guys several times, and they have always responded quickly to fix whatever the problem.

So they were a pleasure to deal with over the phone, got me an appointment quickly for a preventative maintenance checkup, the technician was on time and was very nice, and they only charged $50 for a checkup. So what is the issue? Well the tech identified a high current draw on my compressor motor, he showed me the meter reading. Then tried to suggest a current limiting startup kit for $300, because my compressor would eventually fail. I found this strange since my electric bills haven’t been high...so I passed, and instead brought out a different company for a second opinion. (Armstrong). Armstrong found no such high current reading. I’m not exactly sure what the issue here was, if the technician was improperly measuring, or worse if it was somehow intentional to sell me a $300 kit I didn’t need......but basically it ended up costing me another $79 appointment with a different company to get peace of mind and debunk what I was told by the AC guys. Very frustrating.

We called last night after being told by DelAir they couldnt get to us until Tuesday (installers of our HVAC in a new constructed home). Found AC Guys online and called, they were able to have someone to us in just a little over 12 hours. Jacob showed up this morning (Sunday), showed us what the problem was and had our AC back on in no time. Not only do we Thank you BUT our 3 dogs are happy as well. Very professional and knowledgeable best of all a locally owned company.

I found AC Guys to be prompt, courteous and professional in every aspect of our dealings when my old a/c failed in June, 2013. The office staff took my call and referred me to an a/c tech who was at my house only minutes later.He proved to be bright, clean and knowledgeable and diagnosed my a/c needs promptly. He was very easy to deal with. As he promised, AC Guys dispatched their entire crew the next morning, and installed a new, matched Rheem® indoor/outdoor system in my home for a very reasonable price before sunset. I highly recommend the AC Guys!

I called due to my air going out and needed someone to come quickly and they did just that thank fully! The tech (was definitely knowledgeable) went to the central unit, replaced a 3v fuse came down and said its $140.00... I asked is it fixed, since the AC wasnt running and it was only getting hotter! He said that he bypassed the thermostat and could feel the freon going to the system so yes it works. To his extent of working wasnt what you and I would consider working. I asked him to show me by using the thermostat wires to bypass the system and show me that the unit kicks in and it did. He told me it was the thermostat is bad and thankfully I had kept the original! He then told me its $140.00 again and if I was paying by cash or card... Let me summarize quickly; AC not working, replaces fuse, still not working to the sense of cold air coming out, and he has only been here for 25 minutes and wants to get out of here. In the end I paid him the balance due and I installed my own thermostat in about 10 minutes for free. FYI you pay for a full hour of his time according to the owner. Would I use them again?... If it were a dire emergency and only wanted the job halfway done. I should of listened to YouTube to see how to bypass the bad thermostat to test it.

AC Guys saved the day! Our old AC was broken, and ACGuys replaced it. Our old company wouldn’t even come out for days! Everyone has been reliable, friendly, and has really come through! I highly recommend AC Guys!

Had another company come out right before him and quoted me over $400 for the job....then AC guys came QUICK and found the actual issue was not equipment, but a wiring problem, troubleshooted for a few minutes and FIXED it completely without having to replace motor or unit....he was friendly, professional, amazing and FAST! Just WOW!!!!!

My ac stop working,i called and they were here the next day.it turned out my coil had holes in it and all the Freon leaked out.The repair man don and I talked about up grading my system.we decided to purchase a new system.No pressure it was my decision.this was at 11:00am,they came back at 1pm and took the old system out.By around 6pm I was up and running.Mike and chris were very knowledgable in there job.Very polite and professional.They answer all my questions.When they were finished they cleaned up,and then came into the house and made sure everything was working good.I will called them again if needed and would definitely recommend this company to others.Thanks guys for a great job.Eddie D

I had ac guys come out and install a new A.C unit and Furnace, I was to recieve a yearly service call to have it inspected,I was charged 360.00for a surge protector . after a year and 4 monts the ac quit working I called they sent this old man out and toid me it was a valve problem he als said to continue to let the system run and it woul still put out some cool air, another service person showed up with rhe replacement valve 5 days later to install itthe coils were iced over so badly that the valve could not be installed, they said that they could not come back in 3 more days,I refused and wanted service quicker after a long verbal dispute they said they would come back the next day as they did being 1 hour past the time agreed on .please keep in mind I was charged 275.00 dollars for less than 1 hour it took to replace the part.I have a 5 year warrinty for parts.this company will rip you off if any way possible

I found these guys on the BBB ( better business bureau ) website and figured if they had a A+ rating they should be good, so I took a shot in the dark as I have never used an A/C company before and have heard nightmare stories about companies trying to rip you off, well let me tell you how my experience was with this company, I called them real early in the morning, the lady was extremely helpful, the tech showed up as promised and gave me the bad news that my A/C was 12 years old and need replacing, he called the shop and they gave me a few options of which I replaced the whole unit know that I would have reliable A/C for many years to come, they definatley did not over charge me and after talking to my friends I feel I got an extremely good deal, I am glad I took a chance on this company as I was 100% happy with the service I got from start to finish, I hope this review is helpful to others customers in the future .

These people really know the meaning of customer service. Have used them 3 times and their professionalism along with their ability to quickly acess and perform necessary service has been consistently 5 star. Recently moved into a new neighborhood and have set an appointment for a checkup. I know Ill rest easy once Justin acesses the condition and performance of the existing HVAC system. I had a very good experience with Donavan from AC Guys. They were able to get here on short notice which was important because I didnt have a lot of time. Donavan was very professional and explained the things he was doing/checking. He told me everything checked out fine and didnt try to upsale or suggest something should be done that didnt need to be done. Ive had bad experiences in the past with other companies, but that was not the case with AC Guys. Thank you!!

This is by far the best AC company Ive ever encountered. The knowledge and expertise of the 2 employees I encountered are 2nd to none. The customer service from the lady I spoke to on the phone to the 2 guys who came out all superb. The main reason I found this company was due to them being highly recommended via my Nextdoor app and secondly due to what they charge for a service trip after hours and weekends....which by the way is the same as the charge for a weekday thats because they are available 24/7. No high fee for after hours/weekend tip charges. So after the intial lure of no high after hours/weekend charge (which it was a Sunday) I learned how professional, passionate and courteous these people are. My 2 techs that I had over a weeks worth of issues dealing with my problem plagued AC unit was Justin and Morris. These 2 guys are what made me decide to start using this company for all my AC needs and forgo a company that Ive used for years and are considered one of the best and most recommended locally. So if youre looking for an AC company look no further.

Good at 1st,,, now after the sale & install,,,,, never got with us on when are 3 years of service included in the 5,000 dollar price will start or any paperwork on this ??? Also the Company you use to finance keeps playing games & still have not sent us ANYTHING but a Credit card that we never wanted & when I called I had to wait on hold to talk about why my 1st bill has not come in yet,,,, that was 3 weeks ago & still NOTHING from them or ACGUYS about are 3 year service,,,,, I will change this if someone tries to help me from AC GUYS, with why I havent got anything from you or the Finance Co ??? or any segule on the promised 3 years of service for are new AC sys,,,,,,,And my 1st review was very good, but they keep asking me to do a review 3-4 times,,,,, maybe thats how they have so many good ones, because the good ones they ask many times to repeat what I already said,,,,,,, very unsure about this Company now,,,,,,,,,,,,and by the way it took 1 guy from 9-6pm all day to install it,,,,,
