Good service and prices. I trust them with my pool

BEWARE!! Terrible Customer Service and takes no accountability for poor service. My pool was green for 8 weeks so I fired them. They blamed ME for their inability to service my pool and lied to the BBB when I lodged a complaint, stating I have 12 Oak trees on my property and that they had left multiple fliers indicating I had issues. I have 2 trees (1 of them in the front yard) and they never left any flyers. The pic attached is 3 days after they serviced my pool one of the last times. POOL WAS GREEN FOR 8 WEEKS!!!! I went to Leslies that day and purchased chemicals which cleared up my pool in 2 days. Please make an educated decision prior to using them! I gave them more than ample time to fix it. They initially refused to return my gate key until I got the BBB involved and told the BBB they would pursue libel charges if I shared my experiences with others. Pics dont lie!!

Got the recommendation from a family member to use their service, however, since doing so Ive had issues with communication and quality. I hired with the hope of handling chemicals as that part was daunting to me. When they started they noticed signs of scaling when they started. I was never made aware of this potential large issue. After a month of service I contacted them over a concern. Never heard back even after sending photos. I wish I had because I would have made steps to correcting this. Very dissatisfied with the lack of communication and now as a result the issue had gotten worse. Luckily I have found another company thats amazing and helping correct it. This is just my experience, use as you will. Hopefully they will be different for other customers in the future but, for me I had to move on. The letter I received from them was incredibly condasending and rude which was the last straw.

I would highly recommend this Company to Anyone with a pool and wants to have the chemicals, cleaning or repairs done for them. My kids are enjoying thier summer swims and we have had a blast using our pool. Its so nice to have in Florida and Saves us from driving to the store for chemicals...

Ive been a customer of Gulf Bay Chemical Co. for over 30 + years. The have always met our needs and worked with us to keep our pool in the best condition.

This company is a cheap pool service that cuts corners and First handedly seen them treat their customers poorly. They underpay their employees unless you are family.

When they recommend a major repair out of the blue, do yourself a favor and get a second opinion.

They have been very professional and responsive. The cleaning and chemicals are always done on schedule and any time I have an equipment issue, they are able to fix it quickly.

Extremely rude and unprofessional company. They will charge your credit card with out your authorization. They actually double charged my credit card! They do not value their clients and are only concerned with getting their money. Greedy people that are ready to turn against you after years of supporting them. Disgusted and disappointed to treated so poorly.

Not a good ending with this company. Minimalistic and ultimately ruined several components of our above ground hot tub. We had pool and hot tub service. After a period of time the hot tub began to be treated with chlorine instead of bromine which ruined the cover, pads, jet nozzles and valves and also made the skin burn when we got in it. Contacted the company, who wrote a letter back saying it had been treated only once that way. Either their technician lied to them or they lied to us since it had been that way for months until we finally decided to bring it up to them and send them pictures. They also added multiple excuses as to why the hot tub had those problems and that none were because of their treatment. Unfortunately, we never had a problem with the hot tub in years until they began treating it.If you value your pool, hot tub or equipment STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

Not only is the staff extremely rude, but they also do a poor job of cleaning ......as in, they dont! Pool filled with leaves every time they leave. A new pool Co came out and stated the chlorine levels were 5x higher than normal when GBC had been there the day before. Horrible company.

This company overbilled for 8 months and when they were caught treated me poorly and did not refund me the overbilled amount.
