Awesome place. Well maintained and clean.Friendly staffs and service.100% recommend the black card membership, you will have access to water massage beds. It works magically to remove and muscle sore and tightness.I felt the tired got lifted after the work out.

Very nice Planet Fitness. Much bigger than the ones in the surrounding areas. Very good air flow with the big fans make it nice for room to breathe. Plenty plenty of machines. Even at 6pm on a week night there was lots of room all over the place. I was able to do every work out I wanted to without having to wait for someone else to finish. I’ll definitely be coming back to this one. It was also very clean as well. The black card membership is great if want to bring a friend or travel a lot. I’ve been to ~6-8 different planet fitness now. I would rank this in the top three I’ve been too

I just moved to the area. I LOVE my new gym! Great location right off 19. Gym is kept clean. In fact, I frequently notice the staff going around cleaning. Equipment is in good condition. When something breaks, Ive noticed its fixed quickly. It never seems to be overcrowded. The staff is so friendly. Im always greeted with a smile. Other members also seem friendly. I love taking the classes that are offered. Big shout out to their new trainer, Rich. Hes great! So friendly. I always leave his classes feeling like I got a good workout. He is always changing things up.

The gym portion is clean and well maintained for the most part. The mens locker room is a different story. The showers in particular. All of the shower heads need to be replaced, and have needed to be replaced for the year and a half Ive been going here. The water has two temperatures, hot and scalding and hot turns to scalding whenever anyone flushes a toilet. This is the closest Plant Fitness to me, but I find more and more Im willing to drive a little further to one that doesnt have these issues.

They keep the temp like a sauna in here. Especially before 6AM. Should be cooler than the afternoons since the sun isnt beating down in here. But its not. Ill be finding another gym soon if they keep it this hot. People are working out... it needs to be cooler so people dont overheat. Not everyone can handle that. Especially trying to shower and get ready in the locker rooms. You sweat after the shower cause its so hot and no fans in there while youre getting ready.

I wanna say that planet fitness is the best the best thing about it is the trainer rich he’s awesome!! He trains the clients to there needs and wants and puts them first he makes the exercises fun and enjoyable I’ve been working with him for about two weeks now and I already see changes in everything that I wanted to work on. Best trainer I’ve ever had and will recommend him to anybody that wants a trainer. 100 percent

Well maintained and friendly staff. Started classes with Rich. 360 Burn is 🔥🔥! Rich is professional and keeps the class pumped! He gives positive feedback to improve form so you get a better workout! He pushes you past what you think your limit is! If you can, go take one of his many classes!! I promise you will feel the burn!

Clean gym with friendly staff. Rich is an amazing trainer who really cares about each one of his clients. If you are new to fitness, I definitely recommend talking to him and taking a couple of his classes. He is always changing things up and knows how to make fitness training fun. He really just wants each of his clients to succeed.

The trainer Rich is awesome! We have a group of us who regularly work out together and Rich always makes it fun! He remembers who is in his class and what they want to achieve. Really awesome. Plus the staff is always so sweet and kind when I come in!

I love this place. I originally started at the one in pinellas park and it was awesome then i moved and started coming here and i was just as impressed! Nick and the staff there are super awesome. The place is very clean and welcoming.

Still the cleanest gym Ive ever been to and very friendly, attentive staff. Happy to be a member at this specific Planet Fitness location (not all of them are great). I highly recommend the black card membership for all of the great extra perks.....well worth the $20/month! Keep up the great work 👍👍Recommendation to the Owner & management regarding the new hours of operation:On the three evenings that you now close earlier @ 9pm & 7pm, please consider having the doors lock at those times but allow the members already inside to complete their workout at their own pace and the door can lock behind each person when they exit (lots of gyms now have key card access 24/7 with no gym employee on-site during certain hours).The Planet Fitness employee shouldnt have to remain there until the last member exits either. The employee could leave at their scheduled time and then after the last member exits the building, your alarm system should have the capability to be armed & disarmed remotely without someone having to be on premises to do so.I understand staffing is a big issue in nearly every industry at the moment so I just thought Id share my recommendation with the owner as we all work thru this weird & difficult time together. I really love this gym. It is clean, roomy, and the staff is friendly. The only complaint I have is that I really wish the hours would go back to being open 24/7.

I love that Planet Fitness has free personal training in their membership! Rich Starkey is an awesome trainer! He listens to what you want & tries to figure out the things you need that you don’t even know you need. He makes class fun & works with your schedule. He definitely pushes you, but in a way that makes you want to come back!

Switched from Amped to PF months ago and enjoying it very much. Equipments regularly wiped down and clean gym . Only suggestion i have is please turn the fans above the cardio equipment down a little . Sometimes when working out you feel the cold breeze and it doesn’t feel great in my opinion to not sweat a bit during your workout . Overall though, love PF

This is my favorite Planet Fitness to go to. The bathrooms and equipment are all clean, and the environment is nice also. Staff is friendly, and when I wanted to try tanning for the first time Elijah helped me out a lot. He explained how long I should be in the tanning bed as a first timer and what products to use. Thanks to him I had a great experience.

I was a black card member from another location and assumed I could use my card anywhere... But one night I came into this location and while Im about 5 minutes into my workout one of the wannabee tough guys behind the counter couldnt wait to approach me about how Im not a member and needed to leave. I tried explaining I didnt know the situation and was never aware I couldnt use my card at any of these locations considering they all share the same name... But without hesitation he told me I needed to leave and If I wanted to come back I need to cancel my membership at the location 40 miles away and come back. Well I never would be back even if they offered a lifetime free membership as they could of at least let me finish my workout and been polite about the situation.

Loved this gym since the very first day I joined. Best decision I ever made. Staff are nice and polite. Always greeting and thanking you when leaving. My first day staff showed me around and how to utilize all the amenities that come with a black card membership. Very helpful. Rich the trainer, very awesome guy. Super knowledgeable. Showed me proper technique and specific workouts for my goals. Anytime I see him while I’m working out, he says hello and asks how my days going. He observes and even pushes me to do more. Very cool. He has a personality of someone you want as a friend. All in all this gym has exceeded my expectations. Thanks planet fitness.

Great place to get a workout in. Karen was very helpful with the water massage bed. Keep stopping before my time was up yet she was very kind and restarted it for me multiple times as it would stop after about 3 or 4 minutes. Also every other staff member Ive dealt with has been very helpful and kind. Being my first gym membership i couldnt see wanting to go anywhere else.

The way she interacts with members is amazing. I saw her a few days ago deal with some irrational member, fighting about his membership. She keep her cool and defused the situation pretty quick. I told her that she was good. LOL

Brand New and clean. At night late, I have the whole place to myself most of the time..cant beat it..24/7 place with hydromassage, massage chairs, new equip., phone charging lockers, and tan stand/supine;plus more I cant think of bc of its amenities for $22/mo.

I have been a Planet Fitness member for a couple of years. Due to my work I travel some. I have experienced in the past issues with some of the staff of other gyms, not at this one. The staff here is very knowledgeable and very helpful, specially Assistant Manager Angela. The few times I have interacted with her, she always has an answer to my question. Every time I see her she is doing something, cleaning or helping someone. You guys should have more people like her.

Great gym for the price. The gym has everything you need to get started and get in shape. My biggest take aways are there is not squat rack or bench press(not including the smith machines🙂)

Absolutely love Planet Fitness. The only reason I give it a 4 star is due to the holidays..it no longer remains a 24hr gym. They close early. I wish there was a one-time fee for a key fob activation during sign up and we can use the fob during holiday seasons.

I joined a few weeks ago and included is a one on one session with a trainer each week. Trainer Richard Starkey is great. He listens to what youd like to achieve and creates a workout around that. He also gave me great workout ideas for the days I dont meet with him. He also gave me some great advice on protein bars and nutrition. He cheers you on and pushes you just enough because he cares. Great experience so far!!!

I’ve been a memeber here at Planet fitness since September! My personal trainer Rich, is awesome. I enjoy our workout session. He’s very dedicated to helping me achieve my fitness goals! Every workout session I learn and set higher goals and achieve them. Thanks Rich!

Update: back open again with social distancing 5/30/2020. Excellent gym, friendly employees always, and they are constantly cleaning all the equipment and locker rooms!

This location is fairly clean. Some days are better than others. Sometimes the trash cans are overflowing with paper towels at 4am when Im there. There is a front desk guy that is working when I go in the morning at 4am who is never behind the desk or on the floor. Ive watched him disappear into the room behind the desk for over 45 minutes at a time. Its so normal that people go and knock on the door to get help. Also, patrons dont always wear masks and there is no consequences for not wearing your mask because theres nobody around to say anything. UPDATE: I have updated my review from 3 to 5 stars because the GM reached out to me about my review and assured me that he was looking into my concerns. I really appreciate that and believe him addressing the concerns with staff is all he can do. Thank you.

This is my husband and my favorite Planet Fitness we’ve ever been to!! The layout is really nice and big. The staff is extremely welcoming and always cleaning the equipment. We love Lu, he is always so nice and welcoming when we walk in.

I been a member since 2007. I’ve been to Planet Fitnesses all around the world and this by far is my favorite location. Reasons being: The general manger Lu, and the assistant manger Angela, as well as all other staff are very knowledgeable about their jobs and seem to really go above and beyond for their members. The cleanliness of the gym is outstanding. You’ll never not see a staff member cleaning or sanitizing, which I really appreciate because I’ve been to other locations, as well as other gyms, where this unfortunately is not the case. This is all a reflection of the leadership here. Keep up the great work.

Im definitely starting to see the results because of him and at this point he is the main reason i stick with this particular planet fitness. Ive tried YouFit and Amped...neither are as friendly and helpful.

I joined this location back in January. I suffered an injury and very apprehensive to do more than just walk on the treadmill. I worked with Rich the trainer and gained so much strength. He’s very knowledgeable and professional. Rich took time to investigate appropriate exercises that wouldn’t aggravate my injury. He’s also full of energy and positive motivation. I won’t use anyone else, only Rich for my training.

At first I was a bit skeptic of this gym. The area wasnt too appealing for me. When i came in the gym I changed my mind. I like the atmosphere in this gym, specially over the other one in this area. In this is always clean and the staff is very friendly. There is a redhead manager I think her name is Angela, she is very knowledgeable and always ready to help when I have a question and I do ask a lot. In all, I think I am going to switch my home gyn to this one.

I have been going to Planet Fitness for months and I have given up many times until I met the Trainer at this one. Rich Starkey has encouraged me almost everyday . We have worked one on one and in groups to get me to try things that I did not think that I could do. He makes it fun and is always encouraging. I try to sign up for at least one class daily. I encourage people to go and take a class with him or talk to him because he is always willing to show you the right way. I cannot speak highly enough about him.

I have been going to this gym for about a month now and have been very happy. Yesterday they exceeded my expectations big time. I did my workout and needed to go to the restroom while I was in the locker room my blood pressure had gotten too high and I was on the verge of passing out. Another member was in the locker room and she was AMAZING she got me Gatorade and help. Michelle and Richard who work at the gym went above and beyond to help me calm me down with getting cold compresses, checking on me. I was able to calm down and happy to say I walked out. Thank you guys sooo much!

I visited this location not too long ago while on vacation. I must say that it is the cleanest gym I have ever been too. The staff is so friendly and helpful, especially the assistant manager, Angela. She is very knowledgeable about her job and is so warm and friendly to everyone. I will definitely visit again!

I was very skeptical about going back to the gym during this COVID ordeal. Upon going into the gym, I saw the staff cleaning and wiping down the equipment periodically, definitely putting me at ease. The staff has always greeted me with a warm welcome, Angela has always greeted customers with a pleasant smile. I definitely would recommend Planet Fitness, a nice gym to stay and fell young, with an amazing staff.

Love this Planet Fitness location! Let me say that I am SUPER picky when it comes to choosing a gym. Ive tried countless others in the area but there is always something that makes me not want to go back: cleanliness, inattentive staff, long waits for machines, etc. But this PF checks all of the boxes! It is consistently very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and I dont have to interrupt my circuits constantly waiting for machines. Im so happy to have finally found a gym where I feel comfortable and dont have to worry about anything! Thank you to PF and your awesome staff!

I have been a member of planet fitness for many years while living in Wisconsin. In, December of 2019 I moved to St. Petersburg Florida, upon arriving I found the nearest location, since I have the black card membership. I, was looking to find a trainer at this location on hwy 19, as I had one in Wisconsin. I was introduced to Rich, he sat down with me and talked to me about my goals. After we had spoken I set up classes with him. I learned quickly to book them out in advance as he fills up quickly! He has always been encouraging, positive, polite, and respectful! I have built a great relationship with him, and always look forward to my next class with him! You have a wonderful trainer, who is hard working, courteous, respectful, positive, energetic, and encouraging! Please keep this wonderful trainer at your facility! Had a great experience at planet fitness in Clearwater. Rick was very professional and patient with me. I was down from Maine and had no ID and couldnt even remember my phone no. He called Maine and they were in the middle of a major snowstorm. The computers were down there but he somehow got everything straightened out and checked me in, no problem. Thanks Rick. Hes the trainor there too.

I love this location!! I’m close to a couple of PF’s but I’ll always come to this one because it’s so clean and there’s never really a wait to use equipment. The staff is really friendly too. Overall, great experience! I will continue to come here.

Im not a very confident person while Im working out and Ill be honest its not really my cup of tea. But this facility is clean, they sanitize everything perfectly, and the staff is super friendly! I ran into Jay while I was getting set up and he was so kind and helpful! I might actually use this gym membership for once.

I use this gym as a supplement to other memberships and when I travel. This Planet Fitness location has a good layout, clean and maintained equipment, and the staff are helpful and friendly.Toni, who leads the Personal Training, is great and listens to your goals and objectives. She invites members to her sessions and works to modify as needed. A 30 minute workout with Toni is intense and well planned. I was the only person one day, and she flexed the class for that time to my request. She explains an exercise and provides good feedback on form and weight. The classes are also offered days and nights, a good bonus!

This gym is perfect even if its busy. The staff are extremely friendly and they keep the place very clean. Special shout out to MJ who always welcomed me! Love it here and the overall vibe is my favorite out of them all.

Busy, but patrons seem to follow social distancing guidelines and wipe down machines after use. The only thing ppl werent wiping down were dumbbells and some of the other hand-held items. Not sure how this could be solved, since youre at a gym these days youre kinda taking a risk anyway!

Fantastic customer service. Every employee I speak with has been extremely professional and they Care about what us customers have to say. MJ has taken great care of myself and have made my girlfriend (first time working out) feel comfortable about working out.

Its ok didnt like the music selection and the staff was really tripping about keeping your mask on while working out even though its difficult to breath while working out

He cares about each and every one that he trains, goes above and beyond to make sure that he is pushing each person just the right amount without going too far. (i.e. physical limitations, health issues)He knows his stuff......do yourself a favor take a class with him you wont regret it.I have been going to Planet Fitness for a couple of years now. I adore this gym it is always clean and the staff is always extremely friendly. The new trainer Rich Starkey is an amazing person that clearly loves fitness and helping people accomplish what they set out to accomplish....even if it means pushing you when you dont want to be pushed :) His passion for Obstacle course running sparked an interest in me and I can clearly see why he loves them. I am well on my way to being a better healthier me thanks to Rich and Planet Fitness.

I haven’t attended the gym in quite a while. I tried contacting the gym when I was moving in order to cancel my account, however they were closed due to COVID. I noticed a charge recently from Planet Fitness, and called them right away. I was told I would have to come into the gym to cancel, and there was nothing that could be done. I was also told the charge was valid since they sent out emails to everyone. After checking their systems, they told me they never sent me an email to inform me they would start charging me. Then they stated that they wouldn’t refund the money because it was “my responsibility” to magically know when they would open and start billing again. To sum up, I will never use planet fitness again, and I will be telling everyone to NOT use them either.

I joined Planet fitness over a year ago and I started doing the PF360 classes with Rich, they are fantastic classes . Rich makes the classes fun and I am always learning new things I need to work on for my fitness goals. Since joining the gym I have really accomplished so many of my fitness goals because of Rich and his knowledge of the fitness industry. He is the always taking the time to help everyone with whatever their goals are. I highly recommend taking his classes. He is the best trainer.

I was going to the location on 66th St. and recently switched to this location..... Best decision I’ve ever made! I go in after work and every time I go Alicia is always super friendly and active in asking about my day.. makes me feel like I have an unexpected friend! While I’m working out I’ve noticed that if she is cleaning something and someone comes in or needs something she will stop and come help. She is a great asset to the company and I wish she worked every night. I got the best tanning package with lotion and stuff in it! It was a great deal and I’m so glad she talked me into it. Over all this location is cleaner than other ones I’ve been in. I always see someone cleaning which is comforting especially right now with COVID going on. I also appreciate the new mask rule. Planet fitness really cares for their members and employees and it shows.
