Another Excellent cruise with captain Derek. Love the boat and the history of it. The cruise was full of wildlife and beautiful white sand beaches. A great way to celebrate a special day or just relaxing and taking things easy. Cant wait till the next time.

We had a wonderful morning/afternoon traveling to 3 Rooker Island. The water was clear blue, plenty of shallow areas for kids to play, but also had deeper areas for adults. It was great for traveling with little kids. Endless seashell hunting opportunities. The ride/sail was relaxing and we didn’t have to bother with anyone else as on larger charters. We brought sandwiches and beverages for our ride back and was kept cool for us on the boat. Capt. D was friendly and offered a great local hangout suggestion after our experience. He also helped us spot dolphins several times while on our trip.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful time sailing with Captain D. He was very professional and flexible with our private charter to Three Rooker Island. He worked around the unpredictable Florida weather to make sure he could provide us with a safe and memorable experience. He gave us continuous weather updates the morning of our charter (waking up at 5am) and was even willing to push our reserved time back a couple hours to ensure we would have the opportunity to sail due to a pop up storm passing through the area. He was extremely friendly and personable and had a laid back personality. He offered great insight to the surrounding area and gave recommendations about things to do and places to eat. The charter was private, intimate, and relaxing. The island was absolutely beautiful with clear water. We saw dolphins on the way out to the island and the sea shelling was phenomenal. I would HIGHLY recommend Sail the Moon Charter. IT IS WELL WORTH YOUR TIME AND MONEY. The memories we created will last a lifetime!

Derek was amazing!! We had a wonderful day out on the water. Derek took us to an area where we could watch dolphins playing around the boat (my wife loves dolphins). From there we went on to a very private beach where we walked the white sand beach collecting shells (so many perfect shells). On the way back we enjoyed the food we brought out on the front of the boat, listening to music, and enjoying the sunshine. We would definitely do this again, in fact we talked about having others come with us next time. Thank you again Derek for an amazing day!!!

Enjoyed a tour on Friday, 2/26/21. Captain D was very accommodating. It was a smooth and peaceful trip and the weather was perfect. The boat itself was awesome and Derek gave a fantastic tour!

My husband and I were gifted a 2 hour charter for our birthdays back in June/July but due to busy schedules, COVID, getting married and some weather delays, we just went on our charter this past weekend. We had perfect weather and Captain Derek was extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. We had the best time and were shocked at how quickly 2 hours went by! Highly recommend this Captain! The boat was amazing and relaxing. Five of us took a sunset cruise and it was everything we could have asked for. Derek was a great captain and very easy to talk with. He was a great communicator leading up to departure. To top it off, he was a great photographer capturing amazing pictures of my engagement!

We bid at an auction on a house and catamaran ride in Clearwater FL. With all the COVID issues, it was a while before we could get down there. The owners were fantastic to work with and we got down there in August 2020. Captain Derek was professional, knowledgeable, funny, prepared, and a great host. We only took the 2 hour cruise but are making plans for a 4 hour cruise next year. Please check them out!

My boyfriend and I were in Clearwater for a vacation/to celebrate our anniversary and I wanted to surprise him with a little something. Caption Derek is an AMAZING! During our trip to Clearwater, the boat is filled with all amenities, clean, beautiful, fits a good amount of people. We sailed out and saw dolphins, and other sea critters. Caption Derek was great to chat with, always checking to see if we needed something, asking what music he can play as we ventured through the sea. This was so much fun! Captain Derek was very helpful and wanted to make sure we had a great time. My husband and I cruised on the front on a comfy bean bag for two and he took us to a small island where we took his paddle boards out. I booked this for us and my husband later said it was his favorite part of the trip. Different from a normal speed boat and having the sail up was so cool! Captain Derek took myself and 5 friends out on the Three Moons last week and we all had a great time. The winds were nice so we opened the sail for a while and were cruising along. We anchored close to shore and swam around for a while then went to a cool island and had some adult beverages. Overall great 4-5 hour adventure. Everyone had fun and well definitely be sailing with Captain Derek again soon!

Booked a sunset cruise for husband’s birthday. CaptIn Derek was friendly and excellent on confirming date, time, and details immediately. Also kept abreast of the weather for us. We arrived around 6 pm and he met us at the gate to lead us to the boat and show us around. Very accommodating regarding snacks, beverages, etc. Captain Derek was very friendly and informative about the sea, land sights, and gave us a tour of the lower area of the boat, and taught my husband and sons quite a bit about sailing. The two hours were lovely, very relaxing, we were not rushed at all. Hope you can go for a little smooth sailing!

As a retired Coast Guard Officer I can tell you that Derek is an excellent captain, safe and knows his way around the water to say the least. Have been out on several charters with Three Moons when in town and every charter is amazing. Derek does the little things that make each charter special. He took me and my family to see the dolphins, islands in the area and more. I highly recommend Derek and three Moon’s to anyone. I highly recommend his Fabulous charter!

Our sailing charter with Captain D was one of the best adventures we experienced in the Clearwater area. Captain D makes the day out fun and personable from start to finish. He knows the waterways of Clearwater Bay and the Gulf like the back of his hand and will show you out of the way beaches and coves.

We went out yesterday and were really pleased that we had chosen Captain D and his catamaran. He was extremely accomodating and knowledgeable about the local area.Three Moons easily accommodated our large family on our vey first Clearwater sail. Captain D took us over to Caladesi Island and gave us some local history and understanding of this State Park. It was a truly beautiful afternoon and culminated in a return to Clearwater for an extraordinary sunset experience.We will always remember this trip and thank Derek and his wife Jennifer for the hospitality they showed us. Warm salty air, baby-blue sky overhead, sailing through blue-green water. Sipping drinks, swimming and walking on white sandy beaches, its a dream and I plan on going back.

While having lunch at the Ozona Blue Restaurant, our family spotted Clearwater Suncoast Charters catamaran at the marina across the water. Later that day we called Captain Derek and arranged a charter to Three Rooker Island. The weather was beautiful, Captain Derek was great and our family had a ton of fun. Everyone in our family can’t wait to come back next year. We would definitely recommend Captain Derek and Clearwater Suncoast Charters. Five Stars all the way!
