I am fairly new to the area and didnt have a hairdresser. My old hairdresser in Bradenton was fully booked. I called this location and got a very sunny voice (Jane - I think), I was concerned cause my hair was one length and i wanted a change. I explained and she took the time and explained. I said ok let me think about it and call back. I did and got the same sunny voice and made an appointment with Michelle. I knew the minute she started talking that she got me and I was at ease. She showed me some styles on her phone but it was clear of her expertise at this point. So I said just do your thing.Oh boy did she ever! I look completely different and it was the change I was looking for - My three grown daughters said Ma why didnt you do this before . I now have a new hairdresser in the city I live in. I leave for family fun in Boston soon and I have not been home in some time.

A high end salon without the high end prices! I just got my haircut and beautiful golden foil highlights put in at a price I still cant believe! I used to pay $150-$200 to get a basic trim and foil highlights. I was nervous to have anyone else do anything to my hair as I was never very adventurous in that dept. When I simply couldnt pay those prices any longer a friend suggested Fanny Sams (as I like to call it) and I could kick myself in the pants for not trying someone different before now. The hairdresser, Jess was courteous, professional, extremely knowledgeable and had me looking like a million bucks in no time at all. Its comforting to know Ill never pay a high end price again but look like I just stepped out of one. Id recommend Fantastic Sams to everybody for your hair and pocket needs!!

I went in for a cut and color touch up. The price was around $45 it went up to about 50 I was never notified of the increase. The perms that the salon uses or so toxic the stylus was considerate to tell me she would rush my color but now after a week the grades are showing through on the top because she didnt let me sit under the hair dryer the typical amount of time when she did it the first time I was shorted about 10 minutes or more. Then I didnt get a cut because she already had booked someone else apparently she didnt plan on cutting my hair even though I had scheduled online myself for cutting color. Then she told me she was going to be on vacation I said I would just pay the $49.99 or whatever and come back when she was back for the cut. Then she tells me that shes leaving. Then I see her on the schedule for the following week meanwhile I had immediately placed a call to the owner of the franchise. I spoke to her when she was out of state and she didnt do anything. Ive not been contacted since I ended up having to pay $40 for the color that didnt take well didnt get the cut for the other nine the new price and so now Im just wondering, I guess they dont want my business.

I was seen quickly... my regular stylist upped her prices- and rightfully so... she is amazing, and as an independent/owner during this time, especially after lock down. But that made her unaffordable for me. I did put in a reservation here. The stylist I got was quick and accommodating (I added on a color service because they were slow). My daughter and I were taking off a LOT of length (14 and 11 inches, respectively), she did a decent job thinning and shaping the hair... Ive cut off a LOT of length off before and if someone doesnt know what theyre doing my hair looks like a mushroom. Ill be back... theyre definitely affordable, clean and effective.

I first went to this salon a month ago in serious need of help. I melted my hair off with a relaxer (self inflicted). I thought I was going to go bald. I couldnt even touch my hair without it falling right off. Everytime I ran a brush through it huge chunks of hair fell out. Jacky took amazing care of me without ever harshly judging me. She has been so professional and absolutely amazing! Ive been going to her each weekend for the past month for intense olaplex treatments and my hair is nearly restored. She gave it a super cute cut and yesterday she did my roots. I dont know how she made an exact match to my previous color but she did... Its an exact match! Most stylists probably would have been too scared to even touch my hair but Jacky stepped right up like the talented hair hero she is and truly fixed me up! Shes my stylist from here on out! She is such a talented, amazing, sweet, professional and just fantastic person and stylist! Shes truly the best! I am so happy that she took and still continues to take such great care of me! My hair is restored and looks and feels fantastic! I cannot possibly thank her enough because if it wasnt for her I would be bald! Nothing but love from me! God bless you Jacky... Aka my hair hero!

Being very particular about my hair, after reading the reviews I decided to give a try. Angel is truly an Angel. The color and cut is one of my best ever. And the scalp message she gave me was so relaxing. If only I could take her back to Michigan with me. Prices are more than reasonable and everyone there is friendly and professional. I came into this location about 5 weeks ago and the young lady that cut my hair did not do what I ask and I could not do anything about it. I was going to call and talk to the manager but changed my mind.I decided to come back and try again and am so glad that I did.Michelle was amazing.. I showed her a picture and told her that this was what I wanted. She did what I wanted and explained to me about a product to tame the curls and to hold them considering I have natural curly hair. I am from Indiana. Michelle has been doing my hair for 15 years. It is long and semi curly. She always cuts my hair so that my prep time is ten minutes or less. Everyone asks me how long it takes to do my hair in the morning, or what I do to get it to look like that. I let it air dry, put some hair wax in it and that is it. My hair had been over 50 percent gray since my late 20s and she does a fabulous job on my color. I will travel to have her do my hair. She is a treasure to her hometown and we miss her dearly. She is experienced, creative knowledgeable and halarious. Book your appointment. You will have a friend and hairstylist for life. 😗.

I was looking for a place to get my hair cut and colored while staying in Clearwater. I checked out many places until I found Fantastic Sams in Clearwater. It is my new home away from home. All of the hair stylists are very warm and greet everyone who comes in. I tried using Michelle who was very confident she would be able to match my previous color. She did a wonderful job and I have been going there the last three months. She has also recommended some products that I have purchased and am very happy with. This is the first I been back to a Fantastic Sam in decades due to bad color experience. I read all the positive reviews on Michelle and decide to give it a try and she did NOT disappoint. I’m very picky who I let touch my hair. I brought in a picture of the cut I wanted and described the color of highlights I wanted and she did an amazing job! Not only did I live the finished product but I’m purchasing product as well. Michelle was very courteous (not feeling well) by taking precautions to ensure I didn’t get sick and was extremely professional. She deserves a raise and the owner has a wonderful stylist. I absolutely love Fantastic Sams! I have been going to my stylist, Julie, for about 8 years now. She has a great personality and she always seems to have a way making me laugh. She always cuts my hair EXACTLY the way I explain it to her, which is not always the case with other stylists! I have very fine hair and it is not easy to style. But her hair cuts are so good that theres not much for me to do once its cut. Its a quick blow dry and out the door. Not to long ago I was out with a friend. It was a very windy day. When we finally got inside the mall we were going to my friend looked at me and said Now thats the sign of a great hair cut, all your hair is falling right into place. Cant get better than that! I recommend Fantastic Sams and I definitely recommend Julie! Shes the best!!

I came across this salon a couple of years ago, just wanted a quick wash and blow out. I was lucky enough to get Julie to do it. She did such a great job I switched from my old stylist of 15 years to only going here now. Since then she has been cutting, coloring and styling my hair with great results. Very friendly salon that is clean and I love that you can now call 5 days in advance to schedule.I cannot say enough good things about Julie and this salon. The prices are so good I now bring my mom with me. She is a senior and on limited income so I very much appreciate the reduction they give her as a senior. Just made my appointment for Saturday!

I have been going to Jane at this Fantastic Sams for almost a year and have always been pleased with what she has done to my hair. I have thick, naturally curly hair, which is not easy to cut. The first time I went here, I overheard 2 of the other stylists talking about how a women did not like how her hair turned out. They both said she should have gone to Jane, as she would have done a good job. I was so happy to overhear that and it has always been true!

I get my hair cut by Angle all the time at this place, she is a really great Hair stylist and her gratitude and personality is very warming and funny. She is great and my hair always turns out really good!!! I rate 5 Starts!!!

They have a special price for students for my son 16 years old. I think that is great! Only problem is the hair stylist dont save the numbers of the clippers they use to cut your hair so if another stylist tries to cut your hair they have to start from scratch.

She is extremely accommodating of appointment times with my busy schedule, and is customer service oriented to boot! Today was my first visit at this FS location. Jane was my stylist and she did an awesome job on my haircut. Ive always had such a problem when I wear my hair short because of a natural wave in the back as well as a cowlick...Its almost impossible to find a stylist that knows the best technique to make my hair look good in the back as well as the rest. Poor customer service. Walked in at 1030a on Sunday and the lady with reddish hair gave three or four weird looks before saying she couldnt get me in until 130. There was one person in the waiting area. My hair takes 15 minutes to cut. Ive only come here ten times and tip bigger than most of their customers. Done using this location. Talk to your people or hire more.Same thing again but its September not Season like the owner tried to pawn off on the reason for the poor experience. The young hispanic girl working was very nice about it at least.

Jeremy did an excellent job cutting and coloring my hair! His attention to details was so refreshing. My hair has recently become very difficult to color. I have had similar issues with two other of stylists. Jeremy continued to work to get the color right even going so far as to bring me back the next day. The color came out amazing! He went above and beyond in every way! I would highly recommend him, especially if you’re having issues with your hair. (Sorry I post on wrong location)

I got my hair cut today by Angel, I’m not gonna lie I don’t know anything about hair. I also haven’t gotten a cut in ages, but I’m glad I came in. Angel did a good job of helping find the right bob cut, idk really what a “swing” is but she did amazing on it. The cut was quick, and honestly the best cut I’ve ever had (I have not had very many, which is my bad)She got the length perfect, and I am really can’t stress how awesome she did with a “know-nothing” like myself lolzGo see angel if you’re feeling like you need a change, she did amazing taking INCHES OFF my hair.
