From my initial phone call to the last one, to set up County Inspection, every person I spoke with was friendly, professional, knowledgeable about FASTs products and services and was very understanding of my problem and the urgency to correct the situation. The gentlemen who came to do the removal and new installation ~ plumbing and electrical were ~ were the same. They were personable, professional, and efficient. My experience with FAST of Florida was head and shoulders above what has become normal in the industry.

The FAST team arrived in the window of time I was given, both technicians wearing masks. Harvey & Paul we’re great, explaining the process and even took me to the compressor on the roof of our building to watch and understand the maintenance process. I learned a lot and am very pleased with the work. Customer Service is so important today and this FAST team did a great job for this customer.I recommend FAST for your AC maintenance needs.

Good install. I had a hard time getting it to pass inspection because of the Inspector. This took 6 months... Would have appreciated better communication from the manager. This caused me to feel frustrated.

We have used FAST to service our old ac unit, to do major repair work on a large unit on some rental property and now to install a new ac unit in our home. We have always found FAST to be knowledgeable, dependable and honest. With both the new home unit and the major repair work we ran into unexpected complications (as often happens with large projects) and every time FAST, without our asking, went the extra mile to make everything right. I can not say enough good things about this company. They may not always be the least expensive (although often they are) but they are definitely who you should always choose for ac work.

Shawn was the nicest, friendliest and most competent repair person that Ive ever worked with in St. Pete.He quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts and came back a few days later and fixed my $3K Samsung fridge (another repair facility told me to buy a new one!). Shawn was right on time for both visits and actually took out all of the food in the fridge and replaced it when he finished, leaving a spotlessly clean work area. 5 stars for sure!!!

Fast of Florida used to be excellent. For $200 they would service your AC yearly and also offered nights and weekends emergency services and were usually out within an hour of calling.These past 2 years the company has gone downhill. They increased their rates (the appliance bundle used to be $500 and is now $800) and also stopped being as responsive. You have to call the office staff multiple times to request a tech to come out and sometimes they never show. The emergency service used to be all evening, but as of last month is only until 7:30pm. The after hours line is also handled by a call center who is unfamiliar with the company and the local area it serves.I keep renewing my contract because once in a blue moon theyll actually come through and are the only company Im aware of that has after hours, but that is becoming less frequent.

They came and measured for a new air conditioning unit. The salesman ordered it and said it would be in about a week.About a week later I get a call that the unit is here and I want to install. We set an installation date for two days later. The technician comes out and all he did was complain but the salesman ordered the wrong stuff. He was here for approximately 5 1/2 six hours and said it’s the wrong stuff he’ll tell the office.A couple days later they send out a new installation guy and he says he’s gonna have to re-order a new unit it’s the wrong size. So he ordered the new unit in a couple days they come out to install the second unit and take out the first unit. Gentleman who installed it said they had to takeoff my door and put a new frame for my door to fit back on the unit area.He said he’d send out another person to look at it and when he did the new person said I need another unit. (my third).I live in a condominium we’re not allowed to have stuff delivered or installed on the weekend but the only day they can do it for the next 10 days or so was on a Saturday. So I told him to do it. The third one finally worked after a week and a half of installations and take outs.But even though everything has been all screwed up from the beginning, some woman keeps calling me from the office and wants me to authorize payment. I refuse to do so until it was all in and done properly. But she called every other day. They want the money but didn’t want to service my unit.They were the most unprofessional, uncoordinated and greedy Company I have ever worked with.May 17 update. The city inspector came and failed the unit in many areas. They have to come out and work on it again.Run from this company

Fast of Florida service was very good,but not happy with the wifi honeywell thermostat model recommended.The thermostat doesnt give a proper humidity reading. As far as honeywell is concerned they suggest calling the installer instead of taking the bull by the horns, and go into the system and make the proper adjustments or contact installer themselves to replace the unit.I went with Fast of Florida because Honeywell recommended them insteadof using the reputable company i always use and happy with their service

Harvey & Paul performed a routine check-up. They were both respectful & knowledgeable . Fast is lucky to have them. I have always been impressed with the professionalism of Fast of Florida.

I have used FAST previously and been happy. I felt it was a fair price and good service and info twice prior.Maybe they changed their management.We needed a fan motor for our ac. They wanted to charge $795 and would not split it over 2 months. I cancelled. I will say the service tech was nice and knowledgable but pricing was outrageous. AND, they would not give a breakdown of part cost and labor. All one price, huh?I found the (new) part for $85 and it took about 35 mins to install.Very disappointed in a company I previously thought alot of.

Previous owners of my house had an air conditioner installed onto the existing 28 year old duct work. I bought the house 5 years later. They previously had rodent problems and had insulation blown in 2 times to hide the problem and I didn’t know it. I discovered I had rats and the insulation and duct work was disturbed by the trapping company. My whole house inside and out smelled musty and of rats! I have asthma and I was very sick from this. Hector at Fast gave me a quote to replace the duct work. He was told of the urgency of the situation and I put down more than half of the down payment. Fast quit in the middle of the job without even informing me or closing up the ducts they had started. And they kept all of my money. They started the job and then informed me they felt the clearance on the ceiling was too low to access all of it. And their drywall person can cut into it at an additional cost. However, i told them there was someone up there knocking on the ceiling showing me it can b done without that! They just didn’t want to do the job. They should have never gave a quote on something they r not willing to do and walked out on me.It was difficult to get another company to finish the duct work because part of it was done. I lived in a house that stunk of rats and made me sick for almost 3 months because of their negligence! Then Fast called me for the balance of doing a job they didn’t even complete. I spoke to manager Charlie Creech and he offered no explanation, and no apologies. Mr. Creech treated me with total disregard and with no respect. Adding insult to injury Mr. Creech promised a partial refund and didn’t send in the paperwork to the corporate office. It took me 2 months, 2 e-mails, and 6 phone calls to get a partial refund from Fast.

Ive been using FAST for 7 years. Always on time and competent. Recent visit by Ty and Harvey was very helpful to locate and resolve a maintainance issue.

William and Shane were awesome and did a highly professional job to complete a very challenging project.

They installed a mini-split (they recommended out of the ones we researched) and now claim to have nobody to service it since they are not dealers of the mini-split. Also, the repairman who came out for service kept saying FAST wasnt going to try to haggle with Chinese banks, which is an odd thing to say.

The electrician who came was very pleasant and professional, but he left the problems he came to repair worse than he found them. We hired someone from another company.

Had a new Lennox ac installed in our condo starting with the quote by Ty who was there for the installation and has continued assisting us post installation. Bought a condo on March 1 2021. Previous owners had a contract on the a/c unit with Fast of Florida. Contract was paid up until May 23. Confirmed this with the front office. Right before we closed the previous owners had the unit serviced and the guy who did the work suggested that the coils be replaced, as they were very rusty and starting to crumble. Owners were told part was under warranty, so it was ordered. Was supposed to be installed the day before closing, but Fast called the owners and told them they would have to postpone the install because their guy was sick and couldnt make it. They relayed the info to me. A few days after closing, the a/c unit stopped working. I called immediately and said please come out with that part asap and install it. They couldnt find it. They said it had been sitting in the warehouse for too long and that someone else used it for another job. They then told me that the part was out of stock and the manufacturer wouldnt be able to ship the part for 2 weeks. In the meantime, I asked AGAIN if the part was in fact under warranty, and after several phone calls and pleads for an answer, they finally confirmed that it was. Part finally comes in 2 weeks later and they go out to install it. They called and told me the part was NOT under warranty, and they were having trouble installing it, and that I should just go ahead and replace the whole system. WHAT?? I explained to the general manager on the phone the entire history of the unit (he knew nothing about anything), and he then proceeded to tell me that no one in his office told me the part was under warranty, and insinuated that I was not being truthful!!!!!!!! To say I was irate was an understatement lol. After lots of arguing back and forth I finally just dropped them and called another AC company, Paradise Air, to help me fix the problem. I did end up replacing the unit. In the meantime, Fast called me back and told me that they really wanted to keep me as a customer, and that they could give me a really good discount on a new unit. The price he quoted me was $500 MORE than what Paradise Air was charging at their regular price!!!! I basically said no thanks and hung up. I have NEVER written a bad review about anything before but this was so egregious that I felt like I had to let everyone know not to do business with them. They were rude, underhanded, and called me AND the previous owners liars. STAY AWAY!!!!!

FAST of Florida replaced our entire AC unit. First, they undersold the size of the unit, then sold us a thermostat they are unable to deliver. We were then sold duct work that was never able to be completed. The AC salesman Mike, has no clue what he sold us and made promises of work that his company would ever be able to deliver. We are awaiting a partial refund from FAST and it has been over a month with no refund issued. The AC unit has now failed inspection twice with us receiving no communication from FAST. This is a terrible company with terrible communication. They tell you what you want to hear, then never fulfill. I would rather live in the summer months of Florida without AC than use FAST of Florida again.

I used this company for Brand New Installation of Split AC/Heating unit because of making my 5 month old infant comfortable in the room, paid $6300 in mid december 2020. It stopped working one week after installation, It was fixed one week later. Two weeks after that it stopped working again, Jonathan came and said one of the parts needs replacing and it will take 7-10 days, Ten days pass by and no call, I called then spoke to Jonathans supervisor, Hector. He said the part will take 2-3 wks. Three weeks passed by and I called again and I was told they will send a message to the supervisor and someone will get back to me. No answer for another wk. I finally got a call from the customer service after 4 wks stating that the part is in and they need to schedule an install date. Install date was given after 4 days. Two individuals came to install and they said, it needs to order another part for the unit to be operational. We are at the end of week 5 and there is no update on when the new part will be in or when the unit will be operational. I have been trying to get hold of the General manager (Chrlie), I left 4 messages for him to call me in the past 10 days but no returned call from him either. I have also tried getting in touch with a company but I was told that the company is under corporation and does not have an owner. My next step is to hire an attorney to get my money back or sue them. If you want to go through what Im going through, by all means use their service.I wish I had read their reviews from different sources and not just google.If you look at all their negative reviews, most of them will not have any respond by the owner. I finally received a 3 calls in 3 hours from General manager after placing my review on google and BBB. I was told that they will replace the unit but can not guarantee me any time line on when it can be fixed, meaning that it will may take 6 wks or more if it breaks down again in the future. This is a BAD reassurance and I asked for a refund. He agreed to refund the money and uninstall the units. I had a scheduled appointment on 3/5/21, this was cancelled unilaterally. I called the company on 3/9/21 to inquire when will they come out the uninstall the units so I can have another company install the units before summer comes. I was told by the office manager that she will get back to be. 3 days later, I still have not heard any updates on when the uninstall will be. Today is week 7 and 1 day since the AC unit has not been working.

I have had excellent service from this company.I did have yearly contract but cancelled this year due to huge price increase.

I will never call this company again. Never on time, can’t fellow simple instructions, not knowledgeable, field works have no supervision and very unprofessional. Crew workers are nice and polite but not that experienced. I called on a A/C service call they said between 10:00am and 11:00 tech would be there. At noon still no tech and no call 30 minutes prior. I call Fast they said he was delayed it would be around 1:00pm at 2:00pm I call they said it would be 4:00pm. At 5:30pm I give my final call they said they are 35 minutes away. At 6:37 pm they show up all 3 techs it takes them 10:00 minutes to get out of the van. The tech’s said the condenser was leaking. I called out two more A/C companies and condenser was fine it was a leak in the air handlers core. I have know idea how they get any good reviews. I fired the plumbers years ago they are just as bad. The electrical side what can I say same as the other two divisions.

Well.....I have purposely hesitated to write a public review hoping FAST would communicate with us as I have a long list of issues that happened during the process of installing a completely new HVAC in our newly purchased home in Tarpon Springs. I’m going to avoid writing a narrative about the issues during and after this very expensive purchase. But, I will NEVER, ever call FAST for anything new again. Their lack of communication is inexcusable. Only one of their staff (Hector) was responsive, and actually tried to correct issues. Sad....and, unfortunateUPDATE: THE OWNERS REPONSE IS TOTALLY AN UNFORTUNATE PLOY TO DEFLECT BLAME. ITS BEEN SEVERAL DAYS, AND NO PHONE CALL. TYPICAL HOW THIS ENTIRE PROCESS HAS GONE. NO COMMUNICATION DESPITE THEIR LAME PROMISES. SADUpdate as of March 11, 2021Finally (after months of calling them to get it scheduled) FAST actually scheduled the county inspection which took place 03/09/2021. The inspection failed!!!! (This HVAC system was installed in September 2020). They installed this very expensive unit incorrectly (according to the official inspection report). The new GM promised to get the issues resolved and he would immediately schedule the corrections. I have yet to receive any such call from him (Charlie). So, FAST cannot be trusted with proper installation, and they refuse to communicate to correct their improper installation. I guess my next task will be to file legal action. FRUSTRATING!!!!

My toilet and my kitchen sink was not working properly and Joe Holiday came in not only was he friendly and knowledgeable he fixed both items for me and tweak some other items. I was shocked to have this done so quickly especially during the holidays. Chris came to our home to quote for an additional outside waters picket. He came on time and provided us with valuable advice at no charge! He definitely will be requested the next time we need a plumber. Five stars for Chris and Fast Plumbing.

We had a leak with the a/c unit and contacted FAST in the morning and they scheduled Chris to come out the same afternoon. He was able to drain the water out of the unit and made several suggestions regarding how to prevent the issue from happening in the future. He also explained that we should not be using a filter within the house as well as a filter in the unit, as the unit filter is designed to handle the entire house. We’re now looking forward to running a cleaner, more economical unit.

Jason is an excellent fanFASTic plumber... knowledgeable, patient, great diagnostic skills, & expert job completion. He carefully & kindly explained to my senior mind cause of leaky & very old kitchen faucet & what was involved in replacing it. Also quick to get to water hammer problem. Most impressive was the knowledge, expertise & patience Jason demonstrated in locating a water pipe connection on the grounds of my 45 yr old condo that proved to be the mysterious key to shutting off buildings water supply in order to repair very old, leaky outdoor faucet. Jason -- hes my choice for punctual, expert repair & upgrading of complicated plumbing problems!

All the people I have had from fast are the best !!! The last person was Dan he worked on my LG refrigerator and got it fixed where the company for LG wanted me to unplug for 24 to 48 hrs they thought it was a ice build up WRONG it was the freezer door the magnets where not lining up and the light in the freezer was on so the beeper was going off every 30 sec. It was a pain but FAST fixed it big time

I was having difficulty with my lighting in my bathroom. I am generally pretty handy, but this problem had me totally stumped! I called Fast of Florida, and they had a service electrician come out within a day! Talk about FAST! Anyway, the service person, (Richard D.) was very polite, friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to identify the problem and fix it. He saved me HOURS of frustration!!! In St. Pete, there are a number of older homes. Mine is almost 100 years old. No doubt I will run into another problem. I will certainly call them again, without hesitation! A+++ Service!!!

I currently have an annual Maintenance Agreement with FAST of Florida and I love the security that it gives me. Dan who takes care of my appliances and Buddy who is one of their HVAC guys are both extremely professional, very customer service oriented and each takes the time to explain whatever they’re doing if asked and will answer any question so that I understand. They are both very seasoned in their profession and FAST of Florida is very fortunate to have both of them.

Dan did a great job on our dishwasher repair. He went above and beyond. We are so happy to have a working dishwasher. He was very knowledgeable and professional.

The FAST tech Kevin was on time and started right away on doing his job. He checked each item to be covered by FAST as I looked on. He noted conditions of all items and was very thorough, knowing what to look for and noting it. He explained the coverage and the cost of the bundle plus add-ons. He answered all my questions and referred to the main office on other issues, such as cost of services. Not only was he friendly but he was happy doing his job. He is definitely an asset to FAST and hope he stays for another 3 years. He should get a pension.

We had problems with our A/C and we had Buddy as a A/C Tech. He was excellent in all the ways knowledge, professionalism, honest in his explanation. We appreciated his help. We would like a cheaper price but is not his fault.

Great response and service today. I have a service contract with FAST and called around lunch time due to a backed up shower and toilet drain to the main bathroom. Despite being short one plumber they worked me into their schedule today and fixed the issue. Joe, the plumber, was professional and quickly fixed the issue with an auger to unclog the drain pipe.

The installation team was very professional and efficient. However, we have an issue that needs resolved. Repeated calls to Chris the AC manager have gone unanswered for two weeks now. I can also validate Diane Armstrongs post

We have had maintenance contracts on two condos for three years. The overall service has been excellent whenever we had a problem. But today was the topper.I dropped two coins down my garbage disposal and my hand would not fit into the drain. I called FAST to see if they had any suggestions and was put in touch with Dan. He got my location, drove over here immediately and was able to remove the coins. Then he did a check to make sure everything was working properly.Furthermore he was very pleasant, professional and polite. He had me up and running in about 10 minutes. He is the kind of person you want when air conditioning, appliance and just plain foolish problems (like mine ) happen.Thank you Dan!

Emergency Plumbing RepairWe had both of our service lines for our washer and dryer break off in the masonry wall on a Sunday evening. I called around and everyone wanted $185+ for an emergency call. Not much I can do about that - but finally found FAST of FL and they had a technician who was available that night (which was important because our water main had to be shut off until the repairs were completed.Technician Sean was assigned. He telephoned me and kept me abreast of his time of arrival (although he was running later than what he said). When he arrived he was a very nice guy and a hard worker. He fixed the problem in about 30 minutes and had our water back on. Appreciated his customer service and work ethic. Total repair costs us $435 - a lot of money, but what do you do in a pinch.Sean did run our credit card that night. However, FAST of FL ran it again on the following Tuesday. Did have a little hassle getting to the right person to get that credited back - but Lisa finally took care of it.All and all - emergency plumbing is expensive. However, Sean took care of us and made a bad situation as good as it could be.

FAST came today to replace my old a/c- heating unit on my house! They did an excellent job with no problems in shorter time then I expected.......A guy name Matt who has been with FAST a yr now.......he was awesome and I was so pleased with his work..........Been with FAST a zillion years now for home and condo and they have never failed me yet!
