This was my daughters and my first time going there. By far the best nail place Ive been to. They were clean, fast, and efficient. Everyone was wearing mask and safely distanced apart. I will be going back.

My pedicure here was 5 stars, and the lady was meticulous. However my manicure has air bubble all throughout it and after asking for it to be fixed once I gave up. Id for sure be back for a pedicure

I absolutely love the nails but I haven’t even had them a week and they are starting to come off. This place was recommended and I loved my experience but it was a lot of money to have some start coming off after 5 days when I don’t even do much with my hands.

Great service but call to make an appointment

I would give minus score if I could. The manager at the store seems SUPER IMPATIENT! She only allowed me with the gel, when customers are supposed to choose from either gel and dip. She offered no explanation, and with super FRWONED and UNFRIENDLY FACE. She refused to answer my question when I asked her what is the difference between gel and dip, and why was I only allowed with the gel. I really do not understand why I was treated like this, and another staff member seemed to be super impatient, too.My manicure finally came with three cuts in my thumb, ring finger and pinky finger. I will never come again and HOPE YOU OUT OF BUSINESS SOON.I barely got grumpy like this, but this is exactly what happened here in Clayton Nail Spa on Maryland.

I came to Clayton Nail Spa for the first time and Thuy (Twee) gave me an amazing pedicure. She’s only been in Missouri for 2 weeks from California and the owner told me she’s the top technician at her salon. She can do manicure, pedicure, gel, acrylic and dipping powder. I highly recommend her. I suggest making an appointment because she seems always seems busy.

I went in for a full set with regular polish. They have a good selection of polish colors which I appreciated. The guy who did my nails was nice and I loved his energy but as far as the service it self goes definitely not worth it. Length was great the shape not so much.(which I did let him but he assured me it was okay, at that point I was just ready to go. The polish is bubbled and whatever top coat used left strikes. All and all nice place but I wouldn’t go back. Also they made me pay before the service was finished which I know some do it but Oh well.

I have been here many times. Got a pedicure and Sophia did a great job. I will be returning!

If you are a walk-in BEWARE! You don’t want to get half way thru services to return to the waiting area because a preferred customer arrived. I was just told I’d have to wait an additional 20-30 min for my gel manicure because I didn’t have an appointment… This is AFTER being here for over an hr already, being serviced & told half way thru that I am being bumped back for someone else. Management is not accommodating! Once your seated for service you are under the impression you will be taken care of.

Stopped while my man was down the street getting a massage..excellent customer service. Clean and very friendly. Did an excellent polish change on my toes and im very picky! Lol

JULIEEEEEEEEE!!!! I had Julie as a nail tech for my gel mani and a regular pedi and she did a fabulous job. She took her time and was super thorough. I didn’t have to correct her on anything. She knows exactly what she’s doing. This experience was refreshing after I went somewhere else to get my nails done a couple of weeks ago and had a horrible experience. I came in for a dip manicure with the artificial nail, a pedicure, and lip wax. I picked a cloudy gray color and my nails turned out a baby blue color...nothing like what I had picked out, they were extremely thick as she dipped my nails 5 times...when I asked her to shape them and make them thinner she said she couldn’t do that because of the artificial nail...so how come every other salon in the city does it just fine? The entire time she would stop doing my nails to go answer the phone or go do something else, they changed techs in the middle of my service because the first tech I had “had another customer with an appointment”...I had an appointment as well. She didn’t cure my nails with the UV light on the gel top coat so my nails just look like someone honestly gooped a bunch of toothpaste on my fingers and called it a day. The tops of my nails were so much wider than the rest of the nail, I asked her to fix that and she literally just grabbed a box nail file and buffed the edges without reshaping the nail or applying a top coat again. I wasn’t going to even bother complaining any more because she didn’t have a care in the world about what my nails looked like. My total was $90 and I tipped $20 because I felt bad but the experience was a disaster. I won’t be going back.

I had such a wonderful first experience here! The staff is super friendly and skillful. They spent a lot of time on my nails making sure they were just right. I didnt feel like there was any time pressure or as if I was just a number to them. Ill be a repeat customer, for sure!

My favorite nail salon ever! Ive been here a few times and they always take their time and make sure my nails look perfect. I even broke my nail (the day I got them done of course) went back in the next day and fixed it free of charge! I especially appreciate that they take their time in letting any previous soak off and dont just scrape it away and be rough with my nails.

Overall this salon is great - clean, modern, great selection of colors and spacious. But my 5 starts truly goes to the nail tech named Jessica - not going to lie if I say she’s been the best out of anyone I’ve gone to (and I’m pretty picky). She definitely takes her time, doesn’t cut corners, thorough on her cuticle cleaning and very precise in her application! My gel wears perfectly for 2 weeks+ without any chipping. Highly recommend Jessica for anyone who likes high quality and precision in their manicure.

Me and my sister went in and got the same shape and length of nails with different colors but I was charged $14 more than my sister which $5 of the $14 was for a nail removal which I was fine with...but the extra $9 I don’t understand where that came from I am pleased with the color because it did come out good though I just wasn’t pleased with getting charged extra

This was a good experience. My nails turned out good, but I had the young lady do a free hand design and I wasn’t 100% satisfied with it, that’s the only reason I’m giving 4 starts instead of 5. I also got my eyebrows done here and they turned out great. I wish they were more affordable. There are a lot of nail shops with great service that charge less.

My New Favorite PlaceGo!This is my second time here and I have to say I love it. It’s so clean and nice. They take their time and don’t rush. Christine did my pedicure and manicure this last time and I will keep going back. Just a nice place to get away. Also close to work and home.

I LOVE Clayton Nail Spa on Maryland Ave. and it has become my go to place for getting my nails done. Usually I don’t have a preference for what nail tech I get, which is fine because all the staff is honestly so gifted at what they do!

Hands down, one of the best basic manicures Ive ever gotten. With the exception of my appointment being double booked and having to wait 15 minutes to be seated and another to be seen, the product was worth the wait. Plus, it didnt take very long to be done. Great customer service overall.

I recently came here to get a dip manicure and deluxe pedi for graduation. I wanted to have a really great experience for such a special occasion, and thats exactly what I left with. My mother-in-law, sister-in-law and I truly enjoyed our experiences here! It was so clean and spacious and Im impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. I personally had Nikki and really appreciated her work with me. After researching through google reviews for a nail salon, I felt overwhelmed by options of where to go. It was assuring to see the reviews here, to try coming here myself, and to confirm that this was really good. Im so glad I found this place and will definitely be back!

Favorite place to get my nails done. Ive been coming since they opened. Always clean and beautiful inside, the nail technicians are kind and patient and Im usually able to get in the same day. I get dip and there are a ton of colors and varieties.

Super pleased with my pedi and gel manicure. A week later and theyre still in perfect condition, no peeling or chipping at the edges. Its been a while since theyve lasted this long, as I work with my hands a lot. Great convo, and very quick work. I think her name was Jessica?

If you have two plus hours to spare for a regular manicure and pedicure, this is your place. Overall work is good, but they lack personnel for the volume of customers.

The quality of service is excellent, the only reason I dont give them five stars is because making an appointment with them means nothing. If they are busy do not expect your appointment to be honored, you are going to have to wait a while.

I have been to this salon twice and have had extremely positive experiences on both occassions. Most recently, I scheduled an appointment for 6 (myself and my bridal party) for mani-pedis. They made sure they had enough staff so that all of us could get our pedicures started as soon as we got there. It was great that we were all able to get started at the same time, so we could finish up around the same time. You can tell the polish they use is excellent quality because I have had no chips on my fingers (gel) or toes (regular) in the 8 days since the appointment. All of the employees were also extremely friendly. I will definitely be back!

This new Clayton Nail Spa location is so beautiful! Of course we love the original space but the new location is gorgeous. You walk in and it’s open, airy, big, and bright. It was so fun to see Huy, the owner, and the staff in this new setting. Everyone is so welcoming and they all do such a great job. My girl, Christine, is my favorite for my dip but my sister goes to all different nail techs and they always do such a wonderful job. If you’re looking for a new nail spa, I highly recommend! They have a great selection of dip, gel and regular polish colors including some really fun bright neon dip colors.

We had never gone to a nail salon before so I don’t have anything to compare to. It was hard to understand the person who worked on my nails and since I didn’t know the routine I felt awkward and confused. When I made the reservation online I made a note that it was our first time, hoping they could guide us through comfortably. My teen daughter said the person who did her nails was quite rough and she did not enjoy the experience. (I did not feel that way about the person who helped me.) We chose regular nail polish because we did not know any information about gel polish. The employee made no attempt to explain the differences except to say it lasted longer. I was concerned about how the gel would be removed but due to the challenge of understanding her speech, I chose not to ask any more questions. My polish was fine at first but wrinkled on a few nails about 2 hours afterwards. My daughters nails were still soft and easily dented 7 hours later. I would have expected our polish to solidify faster. Not sure why that happened. I would have considered giving the salon another try since I assume they are probably better at gel polish perhaps, but due to my daughters stress from being roughly handled, and the overall lack of communication, we will go elsewhere instead.
