Josh came out to see why my heater pump wasnt working, only emergency heat was on, and if thermostat was working properly. Unit was fine, but he said the thermostat was bad and he wanted to install a new one for $250, even though we told him it is less than 2 years old. I chose to take care of it myself, signed the electronic charge for $65, then got an invoice for $80. When I called about the discrepancy I was informed the higher charge is because were in KY, even though Josh told me I was being charged $65. Found out my thermostat is less than 1 year old and simply wasnt programmed properly. Will never use them again.

I have been using Action Air for the last 20 years and I always have had outstanding service. They are always fast and responsive when I have had Air conditioning problems. So when it came time to get a new HVAC system I didn’t really have to think about it. They gave me a bunch of options worked with me on the price. Then installed it on the day agreed upon. It’s very rare that you get to work with a company that treats you like family.

They are understanding (works with me on scheduling, payment, and are always on time and available for the dates I need). They have Comfort Specialists who come out to evaluate your desires/needs and then give you estimates for how best to meet your needs for your desired comfort level, in your home! I loved that! My a/c unit quit cooling the house a couple weeks ago. I called Monday, Aug 17 and Wes came out Tuesday, Aug 18. He was professional and punctual. My a/c unit needed a new fuse and the condensation pipe cleaned. He was quick and the payment was not expensive. The air was blowing cool before he left. I replaced the air filter as well.

From the project estimate by Gary, to the installation by Adam & his assistant, who’s name escapes me, I apologize, this crew was top notch. Courteous, polite, professional, they bent over backwards to do the right thing. Cleaned up EVERYTHING before they left our home. Double checked air flow from ALL our AC ducts. Their service dept is 5 star. We recently had to replace our downstairs unit. The advisor was excellent, the installers not so much. Installed the wrong unit initially and when they replaced it a couple of days later, miswired it. Fortunately all these bone headed mistakes were picked up on by the advisor and now all is well and we love our new machine. 5+1/2=3 stars

Contacted Action Air about problems with our heat pump. Gary came out right away and gave us the bad news that the unit would have to be replaced. On installation day Paul and David showed up early and in a few hours everything was finished and the new system was running great. We began using Action Air in 2017 after another company installed our new HVAC system incorrectly (they were hired by our home warranty company). We called in Action Air to fix all of the installation mistakes and it passed inspection right away. We continued to use Action Air to maintain our system on a regular basis. This year, Action Air installed Mitsubishi wall units in our basement after they thoroughly inspected our home and HVAC to determine why we were unable to regulate the temperature equally between the two floors and we couldnt be happier! My father had a unit installed by them 5 years ago. It stopped cooling on 9/4 and he called Action Air to get someone out to look at it. He was told the part had to come from the factory and it would take a week. Today, he still has no air, and has had no update from them. He called last week and was told it would be about a week ( this was 4 days after the initial call), and has called to get an update this morning with no response. My father has heart problems and cannot tolerate heat. They didnt even bring portable ACs to help cool until the part came in. I am beyond livid. Im guessing because this is a probable warranty job, they are in no rush to fool with it. Never again.

Provided a higher than reasonable quote for a high-end gas furnace and AC unit. Received return phone calls when I had questions. Install was amazing with almost everything I wanted. The almost was completed a few weeks later after a simple phone call, they were there the next day to fix the air intake on the gas unit. Zero charge and very professional. Great service at first. Then kinda went down hill. We had a ten year warranty for the system. It broke they recharged system and charged us for refrigerat. No problem, but coil had went bad and they would not honor warranty. Told us 700 to 900 for coil and 470 to 700 for labor. We have a friend who is a hvac technician. Called in our warranty info, had the part the next day for free and installed for 440 dollars saving us at least 1000. Mind you we had a warranty. So shouldnt have cost us anything. Oh told us should have gotten parts and labor warranty. Didnt know they were separate.

The service technicians and company are very friendly and knowledgeable at their job. Very attentive to appointments. Defrost motherboard went out and replaced the very next day. Appointment was easy to get and they worked with our work schedule. Great Job!

Do not call if you need 24 hour assistance unless you are an existing customer. Was told that this business is not taking new customers and is only willing to service existing customers. We had a Trane Unit installed about 3 years ago and weve had problems every single summer with it not cooling right. Its only 78 outside now and the AC is at 77! Its set at 73. Weve had the evaporator coils replaced several times. I think it s either a bad unit or someone did not know what they were doing when they installed it! Nobody can seem to fix this situation. Im sick of it!

All of the people that worked on my air conditioner problem were kind, courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. Gary was the first on the scene and he quickly determined my problem and told me about my options. The service/repair department quickly got back with me on how much and how long it would take for them to repair my old system. I decided to research a new system and Mike was my comfort care representative. He was so patient and kind with me explaining the different new systems to me and help me to decide what would work best for me and he didn’t say it’s 5 pm, I will get back with you tomorrow, he talked with me later in the evening about my choices. No high pressure sales from him, but what are your needs. He was even able to get a system on the truck and delivered the next day. Well above my expections. Then, he was able to get the new system on the schedule for installation the next day! Just to be clear, I decided on my system Monday at 8:30 pm and it was installed and running by 1:30 Wednesday. Wow! The installers were Danny and Kevin, and they did an outstanding job. They worked well as a team, answered all of my crazy questions, worked efficiently, cleaned up the space, and took away all of the old equipment. I enjoyed my conversation with them and when it is time to install my upstairs unit, I want the two of them to do the installation. They were very considerate about my floors, on time for the install, worked nonstop, and had great team cohesiveness. Thank you to the whole Action Air team!

Robert Whipple was our Action Air technician, and came this past week to winterize our heating system. As requested, he also showed us an updated thermostat, and also checked out the viability of a thermostat we liked better. He took special care to make sure that our choice would interface effectively with our existing system. Action Air has always been reputable, on time, and seem very honest. I have gone to other individuals/companies a couple times, and always end up having to have Action Air come out anyway. If you want the work done right the first time just call Action Air!

1. They sold a unit to my seller and did not tell them to let the home buyer register. They told him it would be okay as long as they didnt try to switch it over to us as the buyers and we had to have it serviced twice a year to maintain the warranty. In actuality it voided the extended warranty when I bought the house a month later. The manufacturer warranty is for 5 years. Extended is for 10.2. Technicians bang on my unit every time they came out. One week after biannual maintenance I had a $400+ charge because a bent part not covered by warranty-see #1.3. $500 for a second part (which apparently never breaks) 5 months later not covered by the manufacturer and not able to get locally.4. When I called to ask about the warranty, why it wasnt being covered and why they didnt find and fix these problems when they inspected the unit, they apologized for the bad information we were given back in 2013 and offered a payment plan. My concerns about the banging werent addressed. I obviously dont know enough about this work to tell them how it should be done.Called someone else: fixed it the next day for $50. It was sourced locally and the part was covered by the manufacturer.

Used Action Air to purchase a new heating/air conditioning unit and have it installed. Huge mistake. Days before their arrival, I asked if I needed to pour a larger concrete pad to place the unit on. Was told the new unit was the exact same size. I also requested they just set the old unit to the side as we wanted to keep it for spare parts for our neighbors (they had the exact same model). The installers came during the day while I was at work - boy, was I disappointed when I got home. The old unit was gone. In order to install the new unit, which turned out to be larger than the old one, the Action Air folks had extended the concrete pad by setting cinder blocks next to it and filling them with white pea gravel. It looked horrible - even from the street. They also tore the yard up with their trucks. Bad. In addition, they removed my programmable thermostat and installed a cheap digital non-programmable. Seriously? I called to complain. They did fix the pad by pouring concrete, but opted to dump the white pea gravel in the drainage ditch in my front yard. Nice. They brought back my $100 + thermostat, and proceeded to gouge the wall while switching it out. Never touched the huge tire ruts in the yard. And my old unit? It was returned, but I guess when they removed it, they just rolled it off the pad. It was crushed in on all four sides. Our contract also stated they would service the unit twice a year for five years. They never did. But if you call them to ask about it, they will tell you they already did it - dates and times and everything. Lies.Overall, I have never been so disappointed in a purchase or service and do not recommend them, regardless of other reviews on this page.

Our furnace went out on a Friday night and Action Air was out first thing Monday morning servicing our unit. They got us running and their tech was courteous and knowledgeable. I recommend Action Air!!

I was on my way home from work when my husband called to tell me the AC was not working. I called a few other places first to see what a service call would be, one place was going to charge me 2x as much just come out and look at it, not to mention it was not going to be until 9 pm. The other place told me that they close in 20 minutes and there wouldnt be a tech available until Saturday. I called Action Air, they explained to me the service fee and what I would be responsible for as far as payment. They also told me that they would send a tech as soon as possible before 9 pm. Not 10 minutes later Gary called and said he was on his way. He diagnosed the problem, explained what would be covered under warranty and what wouldnt be so we knew what the cost would be. He explained step by step what he was fixing and was super courteous. I was thrilled with the service and the cost was very comparable to others in town. Especially when you consider the fact it was a last minute service call. I highly recommend Action Air!

Action Air replaced our old split heat pump unit with a new package. We had them run new duct work through the crawl space to replace the old ducts in the ceiling. I have been using them for several years. They are friendly and honest. Despite having an old HVAC they continue to tell me everything is in good working order. As a contrast I had another company come for a service 7 years ago that suggested I spend $800 in repairs on parts that are still working today.I had another instance where my AC went out the day after Action Air did the spring service. I called them and they had a technician at my house in less than an hour at no charge to correct the problem. Highly recommended!

Absolutely wonderful experience of purchase and installation of a new unit that was ruined. I will never use them again.

We have used Action Air twice and both times the technicians have been wonderful and the office is extremely helpful. I called other places to have our AC serviced and they were expensive and unhelpful. Action Air takes something that can be daunting and make it as painless as possible. i would definitely recommend them over anyone else in Clarksville. Their prices are competitive and customer service outstanding.

Our HVAC system recently died and we chose Action Air to help us get a replacement. We worked with Robert first to get our initial diagnosis of the old system.Thomas was a no-pressure Comfort Specialist who came out to help us select our new system. He presented us with reasonable options and let us take time to decide. Danny and Kevin came out to install. They arrived at the promised time, were quick and quiet and out faster than promised. Everyone on the team (including office staff) was professional and courteous and made the process run smoothly. Theyll continue to be our go-to HVAC company in Clarksville.

These guys are thieves and do bad work! They replace the heat/air unit and left a gas line loose. It leaked out $1000.00 worth of propane. We checked with soap bubbles and found the leak right at the unit connect. We called and told them about it (big mistake) and set up a time to meet them. When they show up the leak magically was no longer leaking. They said not our problem. We are stuck with the bill. Dont even think about using this company.
