No muss, no fuss, no rolling of eyes or wringing of hands!!!We dialed a number in an ad in our modular-home park flyer and hit it lucky! Sherm Grady, owner of Pro Air, in our area, recently replaced the complete HAV system in our home and we couldn’t be happier. The old system was falling apart, leaking tons of expensive freon, and the ductwork under the house was in terrible condition, though we had no clue till the technicians crawled under and ended up having to tear it all out.Here’s what’s nice: Sherm came on a Thursday, explained what he would do and had the techs here the following Tuesday. They completed the work Wednesday afternoon and managed somehow to keep the house comfortable in 100 degree weather.Sherm’s Pro Air is a cool (!) operation from beginning to end. Over decades, that has not commonly been our experience with HAC companies. Sherm lays out exactly what will be done and why, and the cost, and writes it out. He doesn’t hem and haw about surprising extras that crop up. Refreshing.Jose and Pablo, the expert techs who did the installation, were so comfortable to work with that we felt fine with their having to be back and forth in the house. They are resourceful and imaginative in solving installation problems that aren’t in the training manuals, some requiring trips to Home Depot. My wife said to emphasize that they are respectful and courteous. There was at least half a day’s extra work with the ducts under the house, crawling around in dirt with hardly any clearance, and never a murmur or hint of disgruntlement,.With Pro Air there’s no need for a second opinion.

We needed to replace our forty year heating and 20 year air conditioning units along with the air ducts. After getting other bids we decided to have Pro-Air Inc. perform the work. Sherm, the owner, explained in detail, the options that were available and gave us an estimate that worked for us. The two employees, Jose and Pablo, who removed the old equipment and installed the new equipment, were very professional and communicated with us as they performed their work. They were very knowledgeable about the process. They were also very diligent about keeping the work area clean. It was a pleasure to meet them and they are a great asset for Pro-Air Inc. I wanted to share how pleased I was will Sherman and his staff. Our AC unit had gone out on us during the heat of the summer. I gave Pro-Air a call, and by the next day we had an appointment. Sherman came to our house with great enthusiasm to share his knowledge, he was very professional, and you could see how passionate he is about his job. He was also kind enough to give us some refrigerant in the meantime which kept us cool, while we got our application approved, and a date set for his staff to come and complete the project. His staff arrived prompt, worked extremely hard, and were very professional. They did a complete project of replacing our AC, furnace, duct work, and installed a whole house fan. We were very pleased with the end result. All the equipment is high quality, and now we can turn our unit on with our phones. Fancy!!! I also want to mention that we got a few different quotes, and Pro-Air by far was the Best and prices are reasonable. I have to be honest, I was pleased with a competitor Service Champions customer service, but their prices are Outrageous. I would definitely look around before making a decision, but once you meet Sherman, you will have to look no further. Sherm and his team were wonderful.We started the summer with two weeks of a sauna for a house. When I couldn’t take it anymore, I put the project up on Thumbtack. Sherm was one of the professional replies and I told him how desperate we were. He was at our house within literally minutes! He assessed the situation, gave us rough estimates of three levels of options, and even tuned up the air conditioner a bit so we would have a few days of relief while we decided what option we might go with.With no pressure at all, he got back to us within a day with full work ups of three options and price points to choose from. As soon as we decided which to go with, he immediately scheduled and the team came out and worked tirelessly to get the job done for us. We decided to go with the full overhaul of new air unit, furnace, and duct work.We have been sitting pretty here with this wonderful system. It is so cool that I almost feel guilty for being so spoiled with it. The system even has a touch screen for controlling it. If there are issues with the system, it sends ProAir a report signal that we require maintenance!I am so happy with the work that was done and it was worth every penny. Thank you!

I recently had to have a new HVAC installed and this was done quickly and all of the paperwork headache was taken care of. We were in the market to replace our 45 years old unit. We picked spring season to hunt for air conditioner replacement. Once we have been visited by Pro-Air, we both knew we have our choice. As we agreed to terms, the AC replacement day approached quickly, and the installation went smoothly. As we learned a lot of necessary things needed to be changed in order make our unit run quietly end efficiently. Been using the new super efficient unit a month now, and it works great! Hardly noticeable when it runs, and just paid my first SMUD bill. Yes, it works better than expected. Pro-Air has taking care of the SMUD rebate, and it took off the asking price, we have gotten 4K rebate! Not only the best deal of the year, the best package, installation, and costumer support as well as a friendly guys all around. We are going to be costumers for life. No need to look any further.

After having a well known company out to check my A/C and telling me it just needed a cleaning for $995, I called proair out they instantly new my blower motor was going out by the smell also noticed settings were all wrong. Told me let’s try correcting settings before we replace the motor just to be sure. Unfortunately the motor went out that night, gave them a call they ordered the motor and were out the next afternoon installing it. Air conditioning is working awesomely. Pro-Air replaced our HVAC in June/July during a major heat wave & still managed to get the job done on time & within budget. Shem is knowledgeable & friendly. His employees make sure the work site is cleaned up at the end of each day, so no tripping over tools or materials.

Sherm came out to my home, the morning after I called Pro Air, on my broken down 30 year old Carrier AC. This happened to be during a string of 100+ degree days, of course. I needed a new AC, which I already knew, but the beauty of it is Sherm said he could have it installed in two days. He gave me a price for the new AC and I told him I wanted to get two more estimates first, which I did. Pro Air blew the socks off the two other Lennox dealers, in price, both said there was no way they could match, or even come close to Pro Air’s price. Sherm sent two top notch technicians, in Jose and Pablo, who were both very professional and neat, cleaning up after themselves. Sherm stayed in contact with his workers and with me. I highly recommend this company.

Sherm and his wife, who I dealt with on the phone, could not have been nicer. I responded to a google search ad and Sherm arrived in the time frame I was given. He was thorough and had heat flowing in a matter of minutes. He also took down a part # in case the adjustment he made did not work. Told me to call if there were any more problems and he would order the part and return to install it. However, we have had no further problems. Another plus was he was reasonably priced. He and his wife started this business in the 80s and have built and cared for it. I like supporting the small businesses when we can, and his knowledge of the system was spot on. I would recommend calling Pro-Air if you have any heating or air conditioning problems

Pro-Air will be our go-to HVAC company as long as we are in the area.

Had a top of the line Lennox system and new duct work installed last year. Pro-Air had the best price by far in the 3 bids for the same system from other top of the line vendors. I was amazed at the quality of the workmanship when I went up in the attic to view the new system compared to my previous Lennox install 20 years ago. Pro-Air did not appear to take any shortcuts and did the install above and beyond what I would have expected and probably accepted. Sherm is a very personable man and was a pleasure to work with. I would definitely hire his company again for any HVAC work I may need in the future.

Last summer we had to replace our HVAC unit. After getting a couple quotes we decided to go with Sherm at Pro-Air. Sherm is very knowledgeable and personable not to mention that his quote was the most competitive on a new Lennox system. The work was completed quickly and professionally. Sherm Grady, owner of Pro-Air Heating & Air Conditioning, is masterful. We had a terrible heating & cooling system that was already installed when we purchased our new home a number of years ago. Never worked well, frequently breaking down, SMUD bills of $400-$500/month for a 2800 sq foot, 2 story, 4 year old home. We met with many businesses for replacement of our system. Finally settled on Pro-Air & Sherm. Sherms advantage: he has worked in the field of heating/air conditioning for years, repairing, installing as well as selling. He completely re-did our entire system with fantastic & reliable equipment (reasonable cost) with upstairs & downstairs zones. No fuss, no mess. Completed quickly, efficiently, and properly from the outset. He helped us obtain excellent financing. Now we have even heating & cooling year round, and bills in the range of $200-$220/month. So very satisfying. He has maintained our equipment with service calls once to twice yearly at minimal cost. No problems for the past 5 years. A brief problem did develop yesterday however..... (Sunday of course) when the unit stopped putting out cold air during a 106 degree heat storm. Left a message at his office Sunday evening. Early Monday morning we were called by his staff. Two hours later Sherm was knocking at our front door. He went directly to our outside unit, listened to the sound, took off the cover, looked around inside, felt the metal tubing. In less than 20 seconds he had the right answer to our problem: a faulty capacitor. No coolant leak. He assured us we would be up & running quickly . The cold air was already flowing into the house by the time I walked back in. Within 15 minutes, his work was completed with a clearly understandable explanation. He showed us the faulty part. Then on his way to his next call. Either no cost (covered) or minimal charge. Perfect, professional service & immediate positive results. I would recommend this gentleman to anyone and everyone with a desire to install a new heating/cooling unit, needs a repair, &/or is looking for a credible and honest 1st, 2nd or 3rd opinion.
