This post office location lies about trying to make a delivery when my camera says otherwise. Had this happened multiple times.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would!When ever I call, no matter the day or time I either get a busy tone or the automatic voice tells me to hang up, check the number and call again!! Smh Absolutely the worst!!!!
Missed my carrier while I was in the shower so I called the office to see if I could pick it up since I was going on vacation Sunday night. Susan was fantastic and stayed late ON A SATURDAY so that I could pick it up. Thanks again!!!!!

Marilyn was such a great help for me and my boyfriend getting our passport! Other Postal offices gave me the run around. She helped us out and did not waste our time! She is patience and very professional! She is an outstanding efficient employee! Thank you again Marilyn if you see this! 💕
I tried to call 15+ times today to reach them because they said USPS couldn’t deliver my package (they have access to my apartment) and when they FINALLY answered, she was incredibly rude and told me I hadn’t called there and told me to wait outside for her to deal with someone else. I offered to show her my phone record and pretty frustrating even when I drive over in person, they’re not responsive. Rude and unprofessional.
I went here to get my passport. They were the only ones who take walk-ins on Saturdays. They were fast and professional. I got my passport no problem.I would highly recommend going here.

Phone service isnt a service, its a waist of time. They cant answer questions about your local drivers distribution times, so when it says it will arrive by 8pm and they deliver later than 8pm, you dont know if they will arrive on the correct day at all. And you cant call and ask, locally because its closed. Major complaint about time communication. It needs to be fixed so I may plan my day properly.
Im furious! The mail person will not take my outgoing mail. I have called several times about this issue since I moved into this apartment a year and a half ago. The supervisor was very short with me and said be would call the deliverer, but my mothers week-old birthday card is still sitting in my mail box. My mail box has a sign with big red letters saying, Outgoing Mail, Thanks on it, and they still leave my incoming mail and dont take my outgoing mail!!! How in the world is it unknown to mail deliverers that people send mail too??!! I called to complain again, and no one is answering the phone. They close at 5. I called at 4:30. It seems this post office needs quality control of staff.
Not nearly as bad as everyone seems to think, the employee who helped me was helpful and nice, did not get the government should shut this place down kind of impression like the other reviews say. One thing though is that the passport center sign is a bit misleading, its for regular mail too.

I called to inquire about a package I ordered and the clerk was extremely rude and condescending, despite maintaining my temper and being as polite as possible. I try not to hate USPS, but its hard not to. I wish retailers 100% of the time gave the option to pick the shipping company because I would never use USPS. Ive never had a good experience with them.
Very rude old black lady with glasses at the front desk. If you dont like your job quit so someone can get it done the right way....
Went over the weekend to renew my passport. Very knowledgeable and Helpful.
No one answers the phone when you call-they just hang up on you. The 800 number has you on hold between 30-58 minutes. HUGE WASTE OF TIME AND A PAIN.

If I could give zero stars I would. Completely unprofessional and rude. I came today with a family who was in need of applying for/renewing passports for their four children. I called yesterday to double check all the details regarding needed documents, cost, application and photos. I confirmed that they did do passport photos and that they accept walk-ins. I then told the person on the phone that I would be coming by today. As soon as I walked into this post office with this family, the two clerks started mumbling to each other under their breath. One clerk then proceeded to tell me that their camera for photos was not working and has not been working for over a week EVEN THOUGH I CONFIRMED YESTERDAY THAT THEY COULD TAKE THE PASSPORT PHOTO. This family took off work today and got their kids out of school early for this. They should have told me over the phone that their camera was not in service so that this family couldve made arrangements to have their pictures taken before at Walgreens. I honestly believe the clerks saw a big non English speaking family and decided they did not want to spend the time to do the applications. The two clerks then proceeded to tell me that they close at 3:45. I had my husband call 30 minutes after I left and they told him they close at 5:00. Unbelievable.

Horrible experience today trying to apply for my passport. Website says theyre open until 4:30 pm. Lawrenceburg Post Office said they were open until 4:30 pm. Lazy, unprofessional clerks at this location said they stop taking photos at 3 pm and close at 4. I drove an hour from Indiana for this crap. Never again. Government should shut down this location. Theyre wasting taxpayer money.
The lies and said I have a animal intervened when I dont even have a cat or dog they just was lazy to bring and did not come the next business day as they should have. They dont even deserve 1 🌠💫⭐️
Called this place to receive update on a package I believed was lost and had many personal documents in it. After the guy answered the phone in a disgust tone, he cut me off mid sentence after trying to tell him what I needed help with, and basically yelled at me for calling the wrong number. Worst customer service ever.
This is not a post office regardless of what the building sign says. Its for passports only.
Postal workers have no regard for packages. Throwing packages over 8ft fence into an alleyway that isnt even my property. Had to climb a fence to get my mail from another persons property. Have complained twice and the behavior hasnt changed.
Tom answered the phone and then immediately put me on hold. Called from another phone while still on hold with original call, did same thing.
Its confusing that this is listed as just United States Postal Service in Google Maps. Its not actually a USPS post office — you cannot send or receive mail here or even get postage — it is only for renewing passports (weird, right?). Also they are very rude about that fact despite having no posted signage that this location is not a post office.The actual USPS post office is down the street at 1623 Dalton Ave.
Poor management and it shows with the service! More tax money wasted .. I’ve never talked to so many people that want to argue. Maybe take some of that energy and use it to do your job! 😳
Like someone else previously mentioned, you cannot send mail or get stamps here. They dont provide much other services and the staff sucks.

Ugh I just wish they allowed you to mail something in the evening. This place has no after hours drop off. Come on. Oh and you can’t buy stamps at this post office- and they wonder why the USPS fails as a business.
