My name is Kelly East - eli is my husband. I just wanted to leave a review because my mom experienced a horrible tragedy wherein one of her dogs suddenly attacked and killed her smaller dog and we rushed her injured dog to this hospital, as it was nearest. I have nothing but good things to say about this hospital. Everyone was exceedingly kind and patient with me, I was in a state of shock and may not have been the most easy person to deal with. Everyone at this hospital stepped up, helped me, and offered me kindness when I really needed it. Most importantly, they took my moms little injured dog straight to the back immediately after I rushed her in to try to do what they could and maintained constant communication throughout. Thank you all so much. We appreciate everything you all tried to do for maddy.

We have been using Covedale Pet for years. Dr. Obert is the best. Reasonable advice and fees. He understands we love our pets and want whats best, but cant always afford the high end medical care. We lost out dog last year at 13+ years after a lengthy illness. They supported all of us every step of the way and Maggie had A+ medical care. We wouldnt go anywhere else.

My family has been going to the Covedale Pet Hospital for years. We always have a positive experience. The staff are very caring and are great at what they do. Just had a stray cat that we found neutered there and the cat is now ours. The procedure was seamless and the cat was back to normal within one day.

There is no other place I would go for the care of my pets. They truly understand and care about the animals that they treat. Very friendly, very easy to deal with.

We had to make the tough decision to put our sweet baby girl down. She was almost 16 and had been diagnosed with cancer. While I have always known the staff at Covedale is top notch they went above and beyond when we made the tough choice to move up the day, making arrangements to accommodate us and even gave us extra time when my brother got stuck at work. I cannot say enough positive things about how we were treated! Our other fur baby will continue to be treated by this fantastic staff and I will tell everyone I know this it the place to care for your pets! I knew it before but believe it even more so after the day I just had. Thank you Covedale!

This place is amazing. From the amazing front desk staff to the very attentive and professional vets. I looked into my pets care and what would’ve cost me $2600 at a local place in Mason was only $500 at this location. The level of care was better than previous vets we had in mason. We gladly travel to this location from Mason Ohio anytime my pet needs medical attention.

I cant say enough about the wonderful care Covedale Pet Hospital provided for my beagle. Every visit was friendly and thorough. And when my dog got sick, the doctors and staff helped us make the right decision without pressure or judgment. When it was time to put Sophie down, the staff and doctors were sensitive and caring and did everything possible to love my dog and keep her comfortable and to support me. I highly recommend them.

Good, friendly doctor who actually LISTENED to us. The doctor was just as good with our elderly old cat as he was with our young dog. Finding a good cat vet is surprisingly difficult. Good value compared to other local places - very reasonable appointment rates. Great, attentive front counter staff who didnt make us wait for an hour to check out, even more rare than a cat-loving vet! Solid A.

The staff and doctors were extremely helpful and optimistic during a very stressful time for our dog. They were able to fit us in on a Monday, schedule a surgery for the next day and then ease our concerns on Saturday. We appreciate everything they have done for our fur baby.

This hospital is comprised of some of the most loving doctors and staff! They are the most affordable I have found, which allows me to get my cats proper treatment from checkups, to dental cleaning and tests. They explain things thoroughly, in laymen’s terms and if asked will provide recommendations. They also work their butts off to make time if my cat needs an unscheduled immediate appointment. I trust these vets and travel over 30 minutes now to continue bringing my pets to this office.Personal Story: I lost one cat years ago when she ate a foreign object and went septic. This office tried everything to save her, kept me updated, returned her in a beautiful blanket, and cost forgave part of an enormous bill for their emergency efforts. They also sent a sympathy card later. None of these things were required of them. I have had vets charge me to diagnose, euthanize and cremate pets before (typical) but have actually been charged an extra fee to “sprinkle their ashes in a garden.” Covedale Pet Hospital seems to understand the extreme stress, sadness and financial burden pet owners endure in critical situations (priceless). They operate like the animals and owners are their top priority!

All of our animals come here. Two dogs and a bird. The staff is always super amazing and caring. The doctor answers all of our questions. I especially am impressed with their protocols during the pandemic to keep everyone safe. I definitely recommend Coverdale Pet Hospital for all of your pets needs!

Covedale Pet Hospital has taken care of our beloved dog for 12 years. We recently had to put him to sleep and our vet cried with us. I love this place and will always come here!

New to the area and needed to get my potentially sick dog in (possible foreign body). They were very helpful on the phone, getting us in and just as excellent in person. The staff was very efficient and caring. We saw Dr. Ketring but she listened to me (talk way too much about my dogs situation, but very much appreciated being heard) was very professional and gave great, reasonable advice.

The staff of Covedale Pet Hospital have taken great care of my dog Sonny for years. They truly care about the well being of there patients.. whether it be a lizard or a kitten. Very friendly staff, TOP vets on staff like Dr. Vitalis and others who make your pets health a true priority! ( Not to hard on the wallet either)

We have been going here for a few years now, up until yesterday it had only been for yearly shots and we also have a snake that we had to take for a skin issue. The vet we saw for our snake was amazing. Yesterday I went in at 8am without an appointment, my dog was not breathing normal. They dont take regular vet appointments until 9, so we came back at 9. The vet took our dog to get x-rays and came back with terrible news. Our dogs stomach had flipped and he had a mass in his chest that ruptured, there unfortunately wasnt a procedure they could do for my baby. The vet said we should use euthanasia,my heart literally broke into pieces. I trusted this vet with her word and did what she recommended.it was the hardest decision Ive made to date, but Im confident in what we did. They were more than compassionate towards us, they let us take our time and didnt rush anything on us. Im so thankful my baby got to be with the most caring professionals. Thank you for being so kind to us.

Awesome hospital, our staff/pit, loves coming here. The staff is super friendly and kind. The prices are reasonable. We had tried three other hospitals years ago we wont go anywhere else. We have been coming here now a little over 10 years. Always ways been happy to come. If you go tell them Lady sent you!

Covedale Pet Hospital has the most caring and compassionate staff. After a very long illness, it was time to say goodbye to our beloved Tahlia. Everyone was so kind and accommodating to us, even letting us leave with her out of the back door so we werent blubbering messes through the front entrance. They even sent a condolences card. My other pets also go there and have been given the absolute best care.

It wasnt a long wait and They were good with Benny which is my dog in the price Wasnt too Badd either

No compassion! You are just one of too many here.... X-( Had a dog dropped off on us. Called to have the dog checked out and they told me not for a week... so much for encouraging adoption. I explained it would be around other dogs and we had to have it checked out before we could introduce them. Nope. They did not even offer to scan the dog for microchip. Which it had but we still ended up keeping it. They did me a favor. Our new dog received very loving treatment at The Delhi Veterinary Clinic. I am sorry I took my other pets to this place for so many years. The are so much more personal at the new place.

This place is amazing. They actually care about your pets. We probably pass 3-5 vets on our drive to Covedale, but its worth it. I used to frequent Noahs Ark, but get this, my time is valuable and Noahs has no respect for it. Covedale offers appointments, this is an enormous plus for us.

Absolutely love all the ladies that work there and the Drs are great they were so good with my dogs unlike the other place I used to go I highly recommend these people highly

We have been taking our lab mix here for years for regular checkups, shots, nail trimming, etc. We recently got a frenchie, who requires more frequent visits and it seems like they never really have answers for her issues. They treat symptoms and when that doesnt work they try something else. When I ask questions, I dont usually get a satisfactory answer. I also recently found out one of the (monthly) services they were providing our lab, may have been doing more harm than good...but at least they made $15 a month from doing it 😑 We will be looking to visit another vet for our future visits.I will add that a handful of the vet techs and front desk employees are very caring and friendly, but cant say that for the full staff.

Over the last decade or so, Ive had 5 dogs and have taken all of them to Covedale Pet Hospital for their care. While I am very partial to one of the doctors, I have never received anything less than excellent care and compassion for each and every one of my dogs. Prices are reasonable, they are always helpful. Personally I will never go anywhere else.

Almost certain my appointment was not on the schedule when I previously booked. Lady at the front desk could not find my appointment, but I still got my pet to see the vet. Facility was very clean and staff was welcoming. The exotics Veterinarian was great, she was checking out my crested gecko. She was very specific and explained terminology we didnt understand. Will bring future pets to this office.

Covedale has always been amazing I have been taking my pets to covedale for close to 10 years. When it was my labs time to go they sent me a card expressing there condolences.

Im writing this review 20 minutes after leaving CPH, so take this with a grain of salt.They are always slow. Always. I dont think Ive ever been there for less than 45-hour for a 3-5 minute routine examine for either of my two cats.As far as friendly, Ive never experience anyone being rude. Generally, Id say the staff is friendly. They just are slow. Everything is a chore. Getting your paperwork. Finding a prescription. Calling to make an appointment.So, why the bad review? Today, I took my cat in for his regular appointment. I was running behind, but because I always wait for 20+ minutes I figured Id still show up. I apologized for running behind, when I checked and and no objections were made. They get me into an exam room in 5-10 minutes and check my cats temperature and tell me the doctor will be right in.Nope.I waited for 40 minutes and finally opened the door and asked if I had been forgotten about. The woman was nice and said she would check with them in the back. A couple minutes later a girl comes in to tell me that they are prepping his booster shot and will be in at any minute. She was bubbly and friendly, but didnt apologize for the delay.20 minutes later and Im ready to put my cat in the crate and leave and the Dr walks in. She asked how I was and I said I honestly wasnt happy. I said that I had been waiting for an hour. She then tells me that I was late. Yeah, I accept that, but if you cant fit me in, dont lead me to believe that everything is normal when its not. I decided on the spot that I was done in my mind and that I would rather not have the cat examined.I apologized to the doctor for being rude if I had been, I felt bad because I had never met her.Long story short. This place is not awful, but for someone who values my time, I dont have time for this. This is the first and only veterinarians office that Ive ever been to, so who knows if others are better.

Went with my dog for a broken leg. They charged $350 for everything and the extras visits where free. Extremely nice and kind towards my dog.

My dog MiLee and I loved it here. The coworkers treated all the pets as if they were their own. They were really friendly to me too. Were new to the neighborhood and happy we found our new vet!

I love this vet. Even after moving across the river, I make the trip back over to return where I know my pets get excellent care from a very caring staff. They have taken great care of my fur babies for more than a decade.

Awesome staff and very cost effective as compared to alternative vets.Update 3/5/21: My senior pet got acutely ill last weekend. I was terrified. The staff was so kind. The receptionist found out how to work me in that day, as it was truly an emergency. The technicians were helpful and kind and the vet was thoughtful and compassionate. My poor boy had suffered a stroke and it was truly one of the worst days of my life as I had to say goodbye, but the staff was so amazing so for the second time, I want to give them 5 stars and say thank you for all you do.

The Veterinarians and staff at Covedale Hospital are great! They are wonderful with my two dogs, very caring. I get in quickly when it is necessary. Staff are very friendly.

Nice friendly staff who takes well care of my pet rabbit

I bring my pets here for maintenance care only ! Shots and such they do run really good prices on especially on clinic night. However, the diagnosis they have given me have been wrong so many times I no longer take my pets here for serious issues. They missed that my rescue dog had mange 3 times over a six month period, diagnosing her with allergies. Which resulted in all of our dogs getting it. Then missed that the same dog had cancer when I brought her in twice with a bleeding issue. One of my other dogs had a lump and they did a draw and said that they thought it was cancer. After surgery, it turned out to just be fat. How do you look under a microscope and see cancer cells not fat cells-please. All in all routine maintenance is good, diagnosis I recommend Grady on Red Bank .

I have 3 dogs that I take here and this is the best vets office Ive been to. The front desk staff is friendly and the doctors are so caring and take time to get down on the dogs level and pet and talk to them before starting the exam.

Very friendly, good care for my pets and the dog is happy to go there. The cats are ok with it which is better than most places they have been to.

I really cant say enough good things about this pet hospital. Took our gerbils to them a year or so ago and now have a 5 month old cat, Tyler. He was an animal shelter cat who had worms and apparently contracted ringworm from there. We have taken him twice now because what was originally thought as a bacterial infection - which cleared up enough with the ointment to reveal ringworm - we had to switch medicines to swabs. We have now met Dr. Melinda and Dr. Bill and they are so great, so thorough, so sweet and just kind, caring people. My cat was very at ease and handled the visit great. The front desk staff was pleasant over the phone to make the apt and when we were checking out. I even had my mom from No. Ky taking my brothers cat there last year. They are so reasonably priced and just great!
