Our baby Sadie was diagnosed with a blood disorder. There were some treatments we could try to give her a fighting chance and the Care Center team did an amazing job at guiding us. They gave us all treatment options at varying price points and would discuss the best plan of action with us. They never forced us to do anything and would always call and double check treatments if they were needed. They were patient with so many calls we made at varying times day or night. You can tell that they really care for animals and want to do whats best for you.

I had to bring my two dogs into Care Center for emergency services and my pets received prompt care that, I honestly believe, saved their lives. I was able to ask questions, gather realistic information on statistics and prognosis, and I never felt judged or as if I was a burden during a time when the staff had a high rate of emergency admissions. I was able to call and get updates, received updates from vets and staff via phone, and was able to visit my pet during his longer stay, which helped me cope and helped my dog since he is not used to being away from the family. I am so thankful that this resource is available in this area and thankful for their work with my vet and Animal Poison Control. Thank you to all of the staff at Care Center!

I could not be happier with the care my 9 month old Great Dane received. She would not be alive if wasnt for the quick response given by the Care Center. When I pulled up staff came running to help get her out of my vehicle and quickly taken back for surgery. She had the Great Dane, bloat/ stomach flip. Thank you so much for saving my dogs life!!!

Excellence in Customer Service...Well... long story short. My girl went rabbit chasing this past Friday. A member of our community found had brought her to your 24hr... clinic to have her micro chip read. Well the folks at the clinic couldnt reach me... as my phone was damaged while was chasing the dog that chased the rabbit but they also called my emergency contact... many thanks that community member that brought her to you.. and many thanks to your staff that cared enough to help... Sylvie is back home.. thanks again!!

The team here at Care Center Cincinnati was so great. We live about an hour away and needed emergency treatment on a Saturday evening. The next two closest pet hospitals were at 8 & 12 hour waits.While they were still very busy, I’m so glad we chose to make the drive here! The entire team was very professional, honest, & compassionate. While they probably see traumas and injuries frequently, they still made myself and my pet feel at ease with frequent updates and full transparency from the time we walked in, to the time his procedure concluded, including discharge directions, transferring his records to our primary vet, etc.Thank you!(I will add, while I didn’t experience it on my own behalf, I did overhear and notice on more than one occurrence during my visit, that the late night front desk staff were more or less “mocking” or gossiping incoming patients over the phone that had wait time or care questions.. this was really sad to hear, while you work here perhaps daily and know the streamlined process, not all of us have had to make an emergency vet visit, let alone know how things work amidst the stress of a pet trauma. I’d like to think these girls could be a little more empathetic and put themselves into the owner’s shoes, how would they feel if it were their pet?. More specifically, picking fun at or gossiping in relation to people asking about wait times, care advice, attempting to triage over the phone and perhaps gauge a rough cost- and so on. While I know not all questions can be answered over the phone, there’s a professional way to uphold your stature and that was not it.. or perhaps, at least maybe not act that way in front of waiting patients for all to hear. This was unfortunate.)

My sweet chihuahua, Oriya, was hit and killed by a car under a Rover dog sitter care. The sitter brought my pup’s body to Care Center Cincinnati and these people have been so wonderful. We were in vacation and they were able to keep her body for an extra day. They cared so much more than the Rover dog sitter. They gave us a private room to see her and grief. Then today, we received a card unexpectedly from them with my pup’s foot and nose prints. Those are so beautiful that made us ugly cry. We miss our baby so much and Care Center Cincinnati made the experience a bit more beautiful.

I brought my 9 month old kitten in with a urinary obstruction. They staff was quick to take him back to the ICU and the veterinarian called me quickly called with a plan for his plan of care. She called after his procedure and I got an update everyday that he was there. I am a respiratory therapist and work in a hospital. I know that it can be stressful for people with loved ones in the hospital. I felt the same way with Jack at the care center. I truly appreciated the open communication and great care he received. I want to thank the entire staff for their care of Jack. I was truly impressed by their kindness, compassion, and attentiveness shown to him.I am only giving them 4 star rating only for the cost. It was expensive and you have to put a 75% deposit down for them to get care. Its a tough choice on whether to put up the money or put down your animal especially have a younger animal. If he was older or had a lot of health problems it wouldve been easier on which path to take. It would be nice if they offered a payment plan because most people cant afford a large sum of money up front.

I have been one of the biggest fans of the Care Center for YEARS. Ive taken a number of my fur babies there and received great care and compassion. I am uncomfortable writing a bad review for them but Im hoping this helps them go back to the way they used to be when it came to a sick animal. I took my 10 month old Great Pry there yesterday - Sunday - and without checking me in or really talking to me - they determined based on looks alone that he wasnt sick enough to be seen. Ive had animals my entire life and no clinic has ever simply turned me away. They said they were busy and only seeing the sickest animals. I totally would have understood if they told me that I had to wait but just saying my pup wasnt sick enough without taking his temperature or doing anything else seems totally uncaring and a guess at best. The Care Center is there to care for sick animals and I cant imagine bringing an animal there that didnt need to be seen. The woman that told me all of this worked behind the desk and was nice enough but surely not trained on judging level of sickness by looks and behavior alone. Please, please consider how you are treating your patients and bring back the compassion that youve shown in the past. Dr. Muldoon - I hope you are seeing these ratings! You are an amazing Vet and our animals need you and your staff.

I visited Care Center Cincinnati on 2/2/2021. The family pet was not doing well. They immediately came out to our car and took him in. It was maybe 30 minutes and the vet called to tell me that he had IVDD. I had a couple options. Surgery or euthanize. The vet did not pressure me one way or the other. She understood that a lot of people cannot afford a $6,000-$8,000 surgery. She let me know that I could call my family members and discuss it. I ultimately chose to euthanize him. It was probably one of the toughest decisions that I have had to make. When I came back with my family, the staff led us to a private room where we could spend as much time as we needed with him. Each staff member that we interacted with, had such compassion and understanding. They offered a lot of information to us at the visit and gave us at least 5 days to decide on arrangements. I would defiantly take my other dog here in the future if needed.

I can’t say enough about how grateful we are for the first class care our dog received here! Our 13 pound dog was picked up out of our yard by a large bird of prey & brutality attacked. We brought him in a bloody mess in so much pain & didn’t think he could survive. He had broken ribs, torn abdominal muscles, numerous puncture wounds, scratched eyes, broken nails, etc. He spent 5 days in the hospital & had abdominal surgery. He just had staples removed and it’s been 16 days since injury & he has been cleared to resume all activities with no further check Ins. It’s really amazing! They were patient with our NUMEROUS daily calls to check on him & let us visit several times a day and worked collaboratively to keep our vet informed. Thanks so much for your amazing care & giving us more years with our Toby🙏🏼❤️

We had an excellent experience and gave us new hope for our 13 year old dog that was given a bleak prognosis for a malignant melanoma in his jaw. Was referred to Dr. Melanie Moore for radiation oncology and she was awesome. She went over in very specific detail our options and pricing and never pushed us to make a decision. She gave her suggestions for the best course of treatment with included a CT scan. After the scan she showed optimism to show a surgeon and see if that was an option for our dog instead of or in addition to radiation. Luckily the surgeon showed optimism on being able to get all of the cancer and clean margins but gave no promises. We scheduled surgery asap with Dr Muldoon. She went over also in great detail the risks and benefits of surgery and what to expect after surgery if we chose to move forward. After surgery they called with the good news that they got clean margins and no radiation was necessary. This was a huge relief to us. You can tell these people care about the pets and love animals. I can’t thank them enough for all they have done for us. I would give a million stars for this review if possible. A few months after surgery and our little guy is doing wonderful and you can barely even tell he had a large chunk of his jaw removed. Do not hesitate if your pet needs a specialist to take your animals here. They are wonderful!!

Overall great experience with their oncology department. Very easy scheduling. They took time to obtain my pet’s outside records ahead of the appointment. The veterinarian spent almost an hour with me during the initial consultation and was extremely clear, thorough, and compassionate. Great follow up via phone and email. It’s very clear they care about each animal.

The Care Center took excellent care of MJ and the vet and staff were wonderful. Thank you so much for treating her so well and being so caring and fixing her up. Definitely would recommend you to anyone that wants excellent care for their pets. From the Diagnosis and not over doing tests, to finding the root cause and providing the best treatment plan, made for a great experience.

Please please please do not bring your pet here. I am begging you to not make the same mistake I did. My best friend was taken here because he was barely breathing and they made him comfortable but let him lay on the table in a very very emergency situation while they waited for me to give them $5,000 up front. They said if I couldn’t pay it I would need to think about euthanizing him. I finally got him transferred to another hospital that did not require payment up front for such an emergency situation and my baby died on the way there. He could of been saved had we went to a place that actually cared about the pets they treat. I am having this place investigated for how they treat their patients. They have no heart at all so I am BEGGING you to seek another care center who really cares about the pets and not about the money. Learn from our mistake. Our baby may still be here today. This place really needs to be shut down :(

I wanted to give care center a good review, but I would be doing a disservice to other potential patients. After spending thousands as a specialist patient, I can say that you will ONLY get sent to voicemail over and over again. I have never actually gotten a phone call to have my dog checked out who is seen regularly. I have always had to call multiple times myself.Edited to add that I truly believe my dog died due to their negligence. They never called to check in on him or see how he was responding to treatment. Even in his last week the only response I ever got was “if you want him to be seen you can come in as an emergency”. It seems as though they are quick to respond to reviews, which is great, but the care of the animals isn’t near as timely.A month later after he passed and they still haven’t checked in once. I truly believe he would be here today if I took him to a different specialist hospital.

The vet on Saturday 7/03/2021 was very insensitive we brought our family pet to you for compassionate care. As we find out we have to put our beloved pet to sleep all you you were worried about was the payment and making us feel as if you were holding her hostage as all we wanted to do is love on her and and then when you finally bring her to us you came back to the room twice to see if you could rush us out and to top it off having to go into graphic detail on how you have to decapitate our little girl because you had to check for rabies there definitely could have been a better way as i figure your pretty numb to how it may sound but it is horrifying to hear as you already have to make a traumatizing decision

My dog Jameson came in for an emergency and the staff was helpful- attentive-and caring. I was a basket case and they were very busy, but they still took time to make my dog feel safe and cared for. I would recommend to anyone.

Recently my cat, She She, experienced a late-night emergency and I made my first visit to the Care Center after first going on-line to register her as a new patient. Upon arrival I called the main number per their instructions and let them know we were there. I immediately appreciated their handling regarding COVID restrictions. They did triage her within 15 minutes of our arrival (they confirmed she was not currently in distress); explained the policy of prioritizing patients according to medical urgency, and that a couple of critical care patients had just arrived before us. The staff informed me it could be up to a few hours before the doctor would be able to see her but assured me She She would be monitored until then. I chose to return home to wait for a phone update. A couple of hours later (1:00am), Dr. Foley called me to discuss her diagnosis. She presented the information as kindly as possible and didn’t rush me to speak after I said I didn’t even know what questions to ask. She took the time to lay out the most likely choices and acknowledged my distress with patience and empathy. We agreed I would pick up Kitty in the morning and visit her own vet when that office opened again after the holiday weekend. Although the urgency has recently passed, the underlying issue remains and if emergency care is called for again I will be going back to the Care Center. I interacted with 5 staff members and all were professional, kind and efficient. Thank you so much for helping me take care of my sweet and loving friend and I wish you all well!

Our little girl, Maxie, became very ill after our vets office was closed for the day and their message referred us to Care Center. They were professional and kind to all of us. We called at all hours and visited with her, and were always treated well. Maxies diagnosis was carefully explained and potential treatment options were offered, along with the honest prognosis. We appreciated their kindness to her and us when we had to say our goodbyes. Our hearts are broken, but Care Center made things as easy as possible.

My dogs were at Care Center for a Canine Blood Bank appointment; staff was very polite, friendly and helpful. Professional behavior all around. I love the idea of the Canine Blood Bank! Its a way for my dogs to help pets in need of transfusions and I appreciate the time and effort that goes into making this project work

I live in rural Indiana and my regular vet didn’t have ultrasound equipment for my 9 year old German Shepard who had a enlarged abdomen. I was out of options as no one else local could get her in for weeks, I took her to Care Center Cincinnati.All staff members were so nice and caring, which meant a lot. Service was trustworthy and efficient. I didn’t have to wait long once I had arrived, and they were up front and clear about prices on procedures, etc if I wished to proceed.I was very happy with the overall service. They cared about my pets health and needs even until (unfortunately) the end of life for my dog.If I ever have a injured pet, or pet emergency again I’m going straight to Care Center in Cincinnati, and I cannot thank them enough.

Our dog recently required emergency care. We chose to come to care center over a hospital closer to us we had more familiarity with because the wait time was much better. We were very happy with the care our pup got. All staff I interacted with were empathetic and helpful. There was transparency about code of care and they were good with communication.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff and wonderful care. After starting at the top of the list when searching emergency vet, they answered the phone and were so friendly AND THEY ANSWERED!! So glad the others didnt. Care!! And they listened. Obviously they are animal lovers!

I am so incredibly grateful to your staff for their professionalism, skill, and compassion. From the moment I ran in with Koda they acted promptly and helped me through one of the worst days of my life. The staff has been responsive and explained medical processes well while still making sure I knew my best friend was getting cuddles and attention. I couldnt imagine a better team for the process.

Jessica was the best vet technician we could for. I cannot thank her enough for being Lillys voice and protecting her like she was her own. I knew Sunday night after talking to Jessica on the phone, that Lilly was in the best hands possible and that someone has recognized how special my little girl was.I cannot thank Jessica enough for being there and standing by Lilly and comforting her when I could not be there. She is my Angel on earth and there will never be enough words to describe our thank you to her. She went above and beyond her role as a technician. The amount of knowledge she has about animals is incredible! I appreciate her honesty with all the questions I asked. She was kind, but also matter of fact.Although this process has been more painful than imaginable the Care center team did their best to make it easier. Thank you! There wont be a day that I dont think about my Lilly girls sweet smile, love of playing with tennis balls and nightly cuddles. But deep down, I know she is in a better place and is no longer suffering.Thank you again for taking the bestest care or my girl. She was one of a kind.

Our new puppy has had several rectal prolapses. As life goes, it always happens outside of our regular vets office hours. I dont know what we would have done if we wouldnt have had access to Care Center. Being that its imperative to have some issues resolved immediately, I am so thankful to have a place we can go 24 hours a day. I called several times with questions through this whole process. I have seen how busy you guys are and I never felt rushed or like my questions were silly. There are a lot of us coming in very emotionally charged and you guys are wonderful at keeping a calm environment, explaining things in detail and caring for our pets! We certainly appreciate each of you and Murphy does too ❤️

I brought my cat Athena to Care Center back in July of 2020. She succumbed to her illness and it was in her best interest to put her to sleep. They were very professional with the entire procedure and allowed me to hold my fur babies paw as she took her last breaths.. What I did not expect was the sympathy card and the paw prints from her.. I HIGHLY recommend Care Center for emergency veterinary care.Sorry it took so long to post this, but I still grieve Athenas passing..

Thank yall so much for your amazing care of Pepper! On an apprehensive evening, everyone was extremely kind. We appreciate the wonderful care. Compassion and kindness combined with excellent help for Pepper made everything easier.

The vets seem great and very competent, however the desk staff are not communicative, very insensitive (laughing, giggling, even judging and gossiping about the patients/clients in ear shot of the patents/clients), insanely slow, and just poor regarding updates about your pet, and terrible about communicating costs. The overall emergency care from the veterinarians is good and life saving for the animals (of which I am very appreciative) but the experience is so terrible that if emergency services are needed in the future, I would drive to Dayton or to Kentucky to avoid this place.

Took my cat here at advice of multiple vets because no vet could get in my cat for vomiting and dehydration. I was told it was a good place and they took animals and emergencies fairly quickly. After over 4 hours my cat still had not been seen by a Dr and was laying back in a cage in a strange place. The receptionists said they had no idea when a Dr could see him. How can they allow a dehydrated cat go another 4 or more hours without being seen in a reasonable time and getting fluids. I finally called my regular vet pleading to them to see if they could get me in on an emergency basis because the Care Emergency Center did not seem interested in helping my cat. I was able to get in to another vets office in my vets practice. I am convinced if I did not pull my cat out of there when I did he would end up seriously ill because there was no sense of urgency on the staff of this “Care” Center

Everyone was very caring and helpful. I appreciated all the updates and explanations of what was going on with my dog. When I was reunited with my dog they were very thorough with instructions and happy to answer any additional questions.

Very reassuring, kind and helpful. Answered any questions and very prompt about getting back to us ASAP. Kept my 10 week old puppy safe and back to normal.

We received excellent end of life care for our beloved dog. We were comforted by the staff and the vet every moment we were there. The comfort and respect that was shown in our moment of grief was of a very professional and understanding nature and was much appreciated in that moment.

Outside of my vet, I couldnt have asked for a better facility to care for Kodak durning this critical time. They were very caring and took the time to talk to me and to my situation. They were upfront and honest and always took time to provide me with status updates on our furbaby.

Care center employees and the doctor were very caring and thorough. They put my mind and worries at ease. When I arrived I was terrified. I thought my little guys wound was really bad. I was pleasantly surprised to hear it actually wasnt that bad and his care would be fairly simple. The doctor did an excellent job calming my fears. Expect a significant wait time. Be sure to clear a couple hours for your visit.

The staff was friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and empathetic to our situation. They were transparent about the wait times and never made us feel unimportant, even though there were so many other more urgent matters at hand. They allowed me to visit my fur baby and gave clear expectations about wait times for callbacks.

Was there with pet Teddy yesterday he was very weak/sick only to lay in a cage for near 3 hours.Did not do anything to help our dog at all.Came out gave us an estimate of 2500-3500.Very uncaring not willing to help with sickness until we signed up for a Huge bill .Very sad to see such a dollar sign place. Those 3 hours could have made a Difference in Teddys condition as hes very sick at this point.We were charged 202.00 for exam but never really told an issue.Terrible service,would never refer this place .UPDATE. Our Teddy was taken to another Dr. Upon leaving care center. This owner Response is Very wrong our Teddy was not Stable at all we handed our dog to staff ask them to give him Iv fluids we waited near 3 hours in Lobby only to find he had not been helped with his very weaken condition. Within the hour leaving care center we find out his kidney/ liver counts all bad Teddy is still in poor condition with very poor outlook. We believe those 3 hours wasted could have made a difference had our Teddy been treated properly. If a pet near death is considered Stable condition maybe they need to Hire a new staff

Called several times to check on my dog they said they would call back... never did! Called 4 times to finally get in touch with someone to tell me shes ready to go home. Bad communication! After telling me they would have her ready to go after surgery still wait 30 min for them to bring her out to me. Very rude when I asked what was taking so long.

We did have to wait to see the Vet but our case was not an emergency and others were. The vet tech kept us informed on when we would see the Vet and made sure my dog was comfortable while we waited. When we did see the Vet, he had already looked up her chart from a visit a year ago (she was found to have an ulcer and was in the Care Center for 4 days) and had done a through medical exam to find what was wrong and source of the pain she was in. Treated my dog and i with care and respect.

The team at Care Center is excellent! They are knowledgeable, caring, and great at communicating what your pets situation is and the options available. They CARED for Sweetie and communicated well with us.

Truly one of the worst experiences with a business in my life. We waited for nine hours when we were told one. We paid $500 for our dog to sit in a crate and receive some fluids under the fur. Will never go here again and we will never, ever recommend. When I spoke with others about my experience, I realized this place has a reputation of being “the worst”.

We took our golden retriever here on a very busy memorial day weekend for an emergency. Despite them being extremely busy, they were very attentive to Theo. He spent two nights there while they ultimately diagnosed what was wrong. We called them frequently to check in on him and they were always compassionate, happy to hear from us, and gave us detailed updates on his pain level, food intake, when he was last walked, etc. This was a very stressful situation but having him there made it a little easier. I knew he was in good hands. He had a critical care consult and we are so happy he could receive the interventions he needed. We pick him up today and I cant wait to see him! Cant recommend them highly enough.

Would NEVER go to this place again. Took my little Teddy to the Emergency room.what a joke they took the my pup right in (I thought I am glad I brought him here). I took him their because he had a Seizure the night before I told them that he needed IV fluids right away he had been throwing up and was very dehydrated so story short 3HRS later so the doctor who said she had over 20 yrs in the field said what do you want me to treat him for( the doctor is asking me this) I said you can see that he is Severely dehydrated I asked you have put an IV in him and put fluids in rightThey said no I said you mean he has been sitting in a cage back there and you have not done anything with himThey put more effort into writing a 2,500 to $3,500 Bill up then to treat my pupThe first thingThey should have done was give him IV fluidsThey left him sit back there for 3 hours Suffering in a cage this place is all about money. My wife through her sister found another vet in Rising sun IN. So over a hour drive to the different vet they said he was very dehydrated and did the IV fluids right away she said that his kidneys (did blood test which care center should have done right away)) were not good. Dont even know how this place stays in business WHAT A JOKE. Then they gave me a bill for 202.00 $ for doing nothing. Please if you have a pup that is in need OF URGENT CARE THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO I would like the Owner to respond and give me a call please

The Care Center was extremely busy - but we were able to leave Sammy there and receive a call when the Doctor had a chance to look at him. The Doctors analysis was helpful as well as the results of the bloodwork that our normal veterinarian received with the follow-up care. Doctor phone call and discussion very good.

I was able to get an appointment in a timely manner. My appointment was on time, I was kept updated of what would be done and of all my treatment options. Everyone was considerate and caring. Dr did a good job of going over testing/treatment options

Our dog had a bad fall yesterday and we took him to the Care Center, who kept him overnight and took such incredible care of him.They communicate very well, both in their plan of care for our little guy, and with timing and expectations. It was incredibly busy (adoptions are way up because of the pandemic) but they kept us in the loop and genuinely cared about our pet. When we were called with an update, the vet explained what would happen overnight, what they thought was going on with our pet and their care plan, what they were watching for and who would be caring for him in case we wanted to call again.We paid a midrange estimate upfront, which wasn’t cheap (it was an emergency, overnight stay) and we ended up being refunded almost half because he did really well and being able to come home first thing in the morning.If we have another emergency situation with our pet we won’t hesitate to take him back to the Care Center.Update: We ended up having to put our boy down this week. While it was a painful experience, the staff and doctor at the Care Center were incredibly kind, courteous, and empathetic through the process, and we so greatly appreciate how we were treated.

It was such a relief to be able to get my cat in to get antibiotics for her ear infection when her normal vet was too booked to get her an appointment. I felt like the service was given in a very reasonable time frame given the circumstances and that the people I had contact with were professional and friendly. The brief interactions I had with the workers made me feel safer about handing my cat over to strangers, and I felt like I was given good instructions about how to continue her treatment at home.

Our little puppy is 14 years old, she had something wrong with her lady bits, we thought the worse. After a visit we found that she would be just fine, after a spay. What a relief, thank you Care Center for the quick and professional help! As busy as they are we were seen very promptly. Thank you

Care center went above and beyond my expectations. We took our 4 month old kitty in with trouble breathing. The staff and doctors called me whenever anything changed status wise, to explain the situation, realistically, and gave me plenty of time to think about options. After our kitty was given every opportunity for survival, he was at the point that he was suffering. The Dr. Ferrel called me to explain everything, and we decided to end our kitty’s life peacefully through euthanasia. I couldn’t have made that decision without the doctors help and explanations. Now, 1 week later, we received the sweetest handwritten condolence card in the mail along with our kitty’s paw prints stamped on individual cards. I immediately cried reading the note and looking at the was more than I ever could have asked for when making such a difficult decision.

We brought our dog in on august 16. They showed such care and compassion for our little dog and our family even a week after we were in thanks so much for caring so much

We couldn’t be happier with the care our dog Cooper received. We brought him in for vomiting blood and he was taken back almost immediately upon arrival. The wait for any info was about 4 hours but people need to understand that this an EMERGENCY CENTER. I saw many animals come in that were in much worse shape than my dog and they obviously had to take priority. For everyone else reading this review please consider this bit of advice, when you go to “people hospital” you get tossed around from department to department and multiple specialists. At this clinic your doctors and vet techs specialize in EVERYTHING, they are essentially nurses that perform multiple specialty proceadures instead of having say one person that only does radiology. Although our dog had to be kept for two days he was returned to us in great shape. Sorry for this review being so wordy but if you have a true emergency this is the place you need to be.

I waited awhile to write this review to see how my little dog Sammy would do after his surgery he had to have on his spine, then naturally, like most people I forgot to hop on and post the review until this morning when I realized just how agile he is thanks to Dr. Montes and the team at the Care Center. While emergency care is something you are not quick to want to pay for, you also dont want to see your pet go through any suffering. The entire team was transparent in the cost of treatment, what exactly would need to be done, and what the rehabilitation would look like. Initially, they thought he would never run or walk again... but after surgery and rehab he does both (although we tend to discourage that these days). In my experience, a team that underpromises and overdelivers is the best possible type of team to work with and that is exactly what you can expect from Cincinnati Care Center. After seeing the miracle they performed with Sammy I would come back here for anything outside the scope of his normal vet in the future. Even after his 2nd of 6 appointments at rehab they told me that he was well enough that I wouldnt need to continue paying to come back if I didnt want to, talk about putting your customer first!!

Dr Rowe was very informative, gave explanations that were easy to understand and had pictures to help visualize the TPLO surgery. Patience and kindness, empathy and confidence

Everyone was amazing. The amount of empathy, professionalism and genuine concern for our pet as well as us, highly recommend.

If I could give this place a 10 star rating I would. The staff was friendly and attentive. The vet tech that assisted us was so polite, and informative. So helpful and kind. They did therapy on our puppy for recovery from his broken leg. Even though we couldnt go in because of Covid, they sent pictures and video of our puppy doing his water therapy. They also sent us home with very clear instructions

August 2020 our 11 yo basset mix went into a severe decline, and our vet told us to take him to the Care Center. We had to put him down that night. In spite of the sadness, fear and pandemic protocols, the staff was gentle and generous with us. We are very grateful to the care they showed our beloved Orpheus and our family.

My dog, Molly, was hit by a car in the late evening. I called and let them know we were coming. They came right out to get her upon our arrival. They did x rays and stabilized her quickly. The staff was wonderful the whole journey. While they are expensive it was worth it to know Molly was getting round the clock monitored care. I heard from the doctors at least three times during her 24 hour stay.They are also very honest with their costs and actually refunded some of our deposit back since it wasnt all needed. Very thankful for them. Would recommend to anyone in an emergency! Great work.

The Care Center has done a phenomenal job with our cats anytime weve had to take them. We are triaged appropriately, with updates given to us on status (critical takes priority - we can wait!) I cannot emphasize enough how great the staff is when handling our cats, especially my girl. She is autoimmune, and stresses when going to the vet. I swear shes figured out that theyre there to help her, because this is the one place she is comfortable in. Im grateful theyre just one phone call away.

Brought my dog here because she had a circular bone stuck on her bottom jaw and we couldn’t get it off. We waited two hours to be seen. They took my dog in and we didn’t hear anything for another 6 hours and no one ever communicated what was happening or what the wait would be.There is no sense of urgency or communication. Just a horrible experience all around, especially for my dog.

I’ve taken two pets here. The first time, they saved my cat and for way less than quoted at my vet. The second was to put another pet to sleep. For a horrible time, it was a wonderful experience. They were accommodating, caring, did not rush us. Again, cost less than my vet. I highly recommend the Care Center.

Im so thankful for this place! My new, small-breed 10 week old puppy fell off the bed and wouldnt stand up & was yelping, so I took her here. Because of Covid restrictions, it was curbside service. I called & checked in when I got there and the vet tech came to my car to get my pup.I fully expected to be in for an hours-long wait and a very expensive bill. It was midnight on a Sunday.By the time I got her there, she seemed to be putting weight on her front legs and didnt seem to be in pain. They took her in, checked her out, and it turns out she was fine!Vet said she probably was scared and maybe it hurt to fall off the bed, and shes just a baby, so she was crying and sore, probably, and to keep monitoring her in case she showed signs of an injury, but they checked out all her joints and soft tissues, and she showed no signs of pain and was having no trouble standing & jumping around at that point.The front desk staff and vet tech were very sweet & kind, even while working at midnight!I was out of there in probably 30mins without any big bill at all!!! They were the BEST. Highly recommended!!! (I realize I got lucky with my pup, but they took care of her quickly without any unnecessary extras that might run up a bill. I trust them fully with my pets!)

Everyone at the Care Center was so helpful and compassionate. We had an emergency very late at night, and they took care of us quickly. From the receptionist to the tech to the vet. It is obvious they cared about us and our dog. Just above and beyond. I am so very grateful for how well they treated us.

Yes, it’s pricey. However, I have had 2 cats need their emergency attention over the course of 10 years, and both received excellent care. They were not in good shape going in (not eating, extensive workouts by my vet with no cause of symptoms found). In both cases my animals were treated incredibly well and came back to me healthy and happy and with a diagnosis and treatment plan that worked. Every time I called, someone professional answered, and each person I spoke with was also kind and always worked to get me answers to my questions if I was calling to check how my animal was doing. It was a peace of mind for me that was worth every penny on both of my experiences there. When I called another 24 hour animal hospital I got the run around - different answers each time I would call, and a staff that was snippy at best. Sometimes, the “you get what you pay for” manta is 100% accurate.Thanks care center for nursing two of my fur babies (most recently Me. Bojangles who is back to his normal self after his prescribed treatment) back to life. Our family is appreciative.

We took a bulldog here with bleeding from the eye during his recovery from eye surgery a day before. Arrived at 1 am, and parking lot was busy with other customers . Impressed how quickly we got attention. Staff really attentive and cares for animals. Impressed with kind and professional staff. Costs were reasonable.

6+ hours of wait time, lied about wait time, horrible staff that could not give me an estimated time which was not helpful at all ! all of this just for an x ray which was only supposed to take half an hour, brought her out on a leash that was squeezing her neck, and lastly couldn’t even provide me with pictures of the x-ray i paid $300 for ??? worst overall experience ever. do not recommend at all.

With this tough situation that I am with my roomates cat, they were very loving and helpful and realistic. Helped me stay within my budget

Waited in a room for several (over 2 so far as I am still here) with not so much as a “sorry for the wait.” Staff refuses to give a time as to how long to see ANYONE. I would drive to the other side of town before coming here again. Rude staff and ridiculous wait time for being so empty.

Cant thank the whole staff enoug for the quick and compassionate care Spencer was given in his last hours. Everything was explained thoroughly and we were regularly updated. Dr. Hunts bedside manner and compassion was amazing. I cant say enough praise of how he made us feel comfortable with the tough decision we had to make, and how comforting for Spencer he made his passing. You all will hold a special place in my heart for your exceptional care and compassion, we cannot thank you enough.

Well reading the reviews I see alot were satisfied but if your financial hurting right now your pet is screwed took my dog last night she had alot of discomfort whining couldnt keep still and we didnt know what to do after 10 minutes after arriving we were right back out the door leaving us on our own thank God she is better today will have to apply for some type of insurance for her but my experience wasnt as great as the others.

I can’t say enough good things about this place and the people who work there. I took my dog Beatrice there in a panic after she started vomiting blood. They were so sweet and gentle with her and their compassion really gave me peace of mind. After the initial cost estimate came back a little high the vet worked with me to cut back a little on some of the less necessary charges. They also were great at calling with updates for her. I would absolutely bring her back if she needed emergency care.

Beware. There are many more options for emergency care and specialties in Cincinnati. Id give Care Center negative stars if I could. They caused my family so much suffering by neglecting our pet for more than 8 hrs. After our pets horrible death their treatment of us was deplorable. Staff lacked any compassion - from doctors to techs. Front desk was beyond unprofessional. I cant even make myself speak of our pets suffering. I just want to post that there are other options and my pet may not have suffered had I not trusted them from prior good experiences - many years ago. Perhaps things have changed after WCPO did the story on their financial practices of prioritizing estimates over actual emergency care. I just know my family is still traumatized by the horrible way our pet was neglected. And the amount of money we paid for inferior care which bordered on abuse. I do hope our pets death was not in vain. And perhaps theyve had a reckoning - I hope so. But Id never trust them again.

3 nights ago our dog ingested part of a diaper out of the trash. They Xrayd her, found nothing in her trachea or esophagus then medicated her to throw up the contents of her stomach. They watched her, re Xrayd her said she was fine now and we drove home. Perfect diagnosis. Perfect treatment . Priced exactly right. Superb job.

I took my cat Luke here on Saturday, again on Sunday morning and again for an appointment with an internist on Tuesday. All times they were so friendly and professional and I felt like he was in great hands. They call you to discuss what is bringing your pet in. And then call you back after the exam/tests and explain everything in detail. All my questions were always answered with such heartfelt responses. Thanks for being there and for doing such a great job with my baby. I will always come back if I need emergency vet care!

I had to let my 11 year old, lymphoma stricken pooch go over the rainbow bridge early Tuesday morning. I would like to personally thank you for allowing my wife and mom to stay with him to the end, and for making his end as calm and comfortable as it could possibly be. RIP Mutt.

I would give no stars if allowed. They completely missed my dog slipping 3 discs in her spin and being is serious pain. Told me that her pain was gas andConstipation. The X-rays they took clearly showed what was wrong with her and took her vet no time to see what her problem was. This place is a joke and needs to refund me my money since they did absolutely nothing for my dog!!

My dog had to get emergency surgery and I can’t say enough good things about this place. I called like 50 times to check on my dog and they never once sounded annoyed with me. They were so patient and very on top of calling to update me. The price was very high as it was a major, life saving surgery but the quality of care was 100% worth it. I greatly appreciate the staff, surgeons & doctors ❤️

So thankful that Dr. McLane so graciously agreed to see my ferret that needed an echo! The staff are friendly and answered all my questions... even tried to calm the nerves of a very worried ferret mom! Dr. McLane was so nice and explained the results as well as answered all of my questions/concerns. I know a lot of the reviews are based on money... because I reviewed several pages of them before bringing Keda here. But, I feel like it was reasonable! Especially for specialty care! I liked that they were up front about my estimate. That used to set me back... but I actually like being prepared when I’m facing a larger vet bill! Would recommend and will definitely be back for our every 6 month check ups with Dr. McLane.

By the time I had to bring Izzie to the Care Center she was in bad shape and I was in a very emotional state. I was so impressed with everyone on the team. The communication was proactive, honest and everyone I spoke with was willing to answer all of my questions and provide me with advice. Luckily, everything with Izzie improved and we were able to take her home. Even after taking her home, Im was impressed with the proactive follow up from the team, including the surgeon who operated on Izzie. It meant a lot that she called me herself. I also had many questions over the following week about things I noticed and medication, and every time I called the team was able to quickly and accurately answer all my questions. I can not imagine a better experience, especially for such an emotional time. I was so impressed by Dr. Raghu. The way she communicated with me and really seemed to care about me and Izzie just blew me away. I am so so blessed that she was there to treat my Izzie.

Do not go there. My cat went in for a fever and came out with a ripped off toe nail they do not tell me about. He was miss treated for that to have happen.

Was told my cat would be seen right away was in guarded condition. Did not treat him for 12 hours. Charged outrageous fees and misdiagnosed him.
