My experiences at this downtown location are always good. The staff is always very helpful & extremely friendly. My visit last time I met the GM Neil and he was absolutely charming and treated us so very well.

Price gouging at its finest. For a three day trip I was quoted $477. Unfortunately, it was a Sunday and Budget was the only rental place open. Final tab ended up at $528.

What is a luxary vehicle? This location does not know. Made reservation. They assurred me they have several. Went to pick up car and they had 1 car... A fiat. My husband lost his client due to this incompetence.

Staff are very friendly, and personable. The only complaint that I have is the additional charges incur if you have to extend your reservation.

I really am very satisfied with Budget. The staff on 4th St in Cincinnati are top notch -- I am treated well, get in and out quickly and the prices are as good or better than anyone else in the market.

Even though this was not a planned rental, they were fast and easy to get a rental without a 24 hr notice for a reservation. The car that we rented was outstanding, and drove like a dream.

Ive been a loyal business customer of Budget Rent a Car for over a decade main because of the quality of the customer service, location accessibility and vehicle options.

The car I rented was infested with bed bugs. Now my apartment is infested with bed bugs. I work in healthcare and cannot be sleep deprived for my work so I had to get another place to stay until this is all cleared up. Im really unhappy and this is literally thousands of dollars out of my own pocket. Cars should be cleaned and inspected after every use. Unacceptable.

I made my reservation well ahead and got a good deal, then got an upgrade to a premium vehicle for the same price.

The only reason is because after I rented the vehicle I realized the mirage was limited to 600 miles and it was .22 cents per mile thereafter. Besides that it was great.

I had a great experience with Budget. I had an emergency on a Friday morning, that required me to rent a car for a week. I was able to secure a reservation online, and had the car within an hour, at a reasonable rate.When I was able to return the car after only 5 days, I found that the return process was easy, and I was given a credit for the rental time not used. The staff was very courteous during both the pickup and the return.Nothing spectacular, except for the fact that they helped me out on very short notice (one hour, on a Friday!). I would rent from Budget again, and I hope and expect that you will have a similar experience.

I believe the dude with the accent pulled some racist ish with my reservation/rental. After my car was PREPAID online he requested an additional $100 deposit that was NEVER stated while making my online reservation. Then CLAIMS he ran a credit check and my credit score wasnt high enough and its a 632??? Im confused. I will never cater to that budget car rental again.

Rented a car from Budget and their system allowed agents to overbook 200 cars. Thus all Budget rental car locations had to wait hours to get cars to their customers.On the plus side, customer service was superb due to Brian. A lesser worker would have quit that day due to the stress and being cursed out by customers, but he is a trooper. Brian went above and beyond with helping us getting a car ASAP. He called me back every 30-45 minutes and left a voicemail if I didn’t answer. I personally think he should get overtime pay for the outstanding job he did that day.

Had the worst experience dealing with Budget customer service on the phone. I spent 3 hours making and paying for the reservation on the phone. This was done to make sure that there would be no problems. When I went to pick up the car, I was told I was not eligible to rent a vehicle. I was told this after the three hours on the phone the week before and after I paid for the reservation. So after being rejected to rent, I was told it would be 7 days before I could get my 200$ refunded. I would recommend never paying for the reservation ahead of time. I was stranded on the weekend without transportation. Horrible business policies. If I could give negative stars I would have.

I have rented here twice and so far the service has been excellent. I get a great discount through USAA and can use their weekly discount promotion. The location is perfect as I live not too far and can take a bus to pick up and after I drop off. I will see how the service and availability of cars are once the sport season start and more people are in town.

I went to rent a car at the downtown location and was told I would have to pay for parking.

Great place without all the hassle and they dont make you put 250 extra money on hold till the car is returned. Very friendly and cant beat their rates

Update: They refunded the days I did not use. I appreciate their help.Folks working the desk were great. This is more for the corporate customer service portion of the company. I picked up a rental on Monday and was scheduled to have it for a week while my car was in the body shop. The body shop finished early and I was able to pick up my car this morning. I returned the rental and was told since I booked through Fastbreak that my rate couldnt be pro-rated by the desk folks. They told me to call customer service. I called customer service and they said since it was Fastbreak theres no pro-rating or refunds if you return it early. This is the first time Ive rented through Budget and will not be using them again. For a first time customer itd be nice to issue the pro-rated refund and let me know that it wont be issued again if I return a vehicle early when booked through Fastbreak.

Rented a car at Boston airport in July to drive up to Main. At the rental desk I was never told about the Toll device hanging from the rear view mirror, how it worked or the charges related to its use. After driving for some time we noticed the device and used it for two tolls. A month later I received two charges on my credit card for its use. A total of about $15.00 . I am sure I could have paid the tolls for a lot less by paying at the toll both. I called the phone number on my credit card and was told most of the charge was a convenience fee for using the device. Since this was not explained at the desk at time of rental I thought this was included in the rental. I am not happy about this hidden charge. I am sure it is just another money maker for Budget and will think twice before renting from Budget again.

Still continue to rent from Budget Car Rental because of their fast friendly affordable service. My trip home for Christmas and back was funtastic because of the brand new Ford C-max free upgrade. Thank you Budget!

Extremely smooth process from start to finish!

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. NEVER RENT FROM HERE. I had a last minute emergency that I needed a car to drive to Michigan and made a quick reservation but wasnt able to get there until just about as they were closing. As I got in, the man told me his computer was already shut down and he couldnt give me my car. I stood their crying in the store explaining my situation and he still would not let me get my reservation. Instead I had to stand outside in the 7 degree weather and call the central line to figure out how to transfer my reservation and the only place that was open at that point was the airport. I had to pay for a cab to get there just to pick up the car. Horrible customer service and no business sense.

I wish I had read the reviews before I rented! I called in advance and asked if they had drop off options since they are only open until 1 pm on the weekend. I was given very helpful and polite instructions on how that could be achieved. What the employee DIDNT tell me was that they do not take into account the time in which you dropped the vehicle off. Theres a parking ticket machine at the door but they do not honor the time. They charged me a full additional day ($90 additional) and was not willing to honor the time the vehicle was dropped off (only 1.5 hours after closing). I will never rent with this company again. I should have gone to the airport and rented with National under our company policy. #PGemp
