Ive been going here since they opened. Ive lived in Cincinnati my whole life (30yrs) and this is by far the best place for guys to get their hair cut. My wife hangs all over me the day I get my cuts because she says it looks good and I smell great. I used to hate getting my haircut, but now I genuinely look forward to it. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Great experience. I don’t often get my hair cut and when I do I’m pretty simple. Felix was my barber and didn’t take that to mean he could rush through a cut and send me on my way. Detail oriented and a very clean cut. I’m very pleased.The shop is laid back with a masculine feel. Shaving and beard supplies are available along with hair products. A cool space with fun conversation shared with the staff and customers. I’ll definitely be back.

Worst haircut of my life. Completely ignored while the guys just talked and took their dear old time. It does not take an hour to cut a guy’s hair. Like stepping into a high school locker room with the jocks. Refused to fix my haircut and actually do what I said later in the day. Zero customer service. They do not wash your hair. Cash only to avoid the IRS. A complete joke, even compared to Great Clips - let alone places like Parlour. Wish I didn’t feel the need to say this. Awful experience.

Quality place to get your beard straight!Lucked out and was able to get a walk in spot. Felix made me feel at home and welcome and gave me one of the best beard trims ever.Im not from this area, but if I ever need a barber while in OTR, this is where I shall return.

Best Barber Shop in Town.I shave my head so I only go in for beard trims but they do an amazing job. I went to a different shop in a pinch when traveling and my girlfriend even noticed afterward how poor of a job they did in comparison.Their work is top notch, and the shop is welcoming and always a good time to hang around if you find yourself waiting for a walk in spot. Grab a seat in one of the leather chairs our couches, pick up a magazine, or just talk to the barbers and other customers, because there always seems to be some kind of convo going on that will get a laugh out of me.The crew down at G. Salzanos does A+ work, and even if you do have to wait if you dont have an appt, youll still have a good time hanging with Felix, Aaron, and the rest of the crew.

Being completely new to the city I needed to find a barber. I was strolling through OTR and decided to stop into this place due the amazing appearance it gives from the outside. I was greeted with friendly smiles and handshakes from Aaron as I walked in the door. Aaron then proceeded to cut my hair and finished it off with a neck shave. I was thoroughly impressed with his work. I have lived throughout the United States and I can honestly say G Salzanos barber shop gave me the best fade I’ve ever received. I am confident when I say they give the best fades in the Midwest. The shop has a modern yet nostalgic feel about it that seems to spark crowds of all ages. I highly recommend G Salzanos to anyone in the city who is looked to get cleaned up and feel confident.

Awesome barber shop and a great place to come and share a laugh and a drink while getting the best fade you can find in Cincinnati. Aaron, Felix, and Mark are very educated and know what they’re doing with the clippers. I’ve reccommended many friends and will continue to do so. Great experience.

Was in from out of town and made our way down to OTR. Saw G. Salzanos and knew I had to get my haircut there, my first cut not from my own hands in years. Aaron did a fantastic job. Price is absurdly reasonable. Wish I lived closer.

Aaron Mucha pays strict attention to detail and is the only person Ill trust for a shave and a haircut. Cant beat the barbershop vibe, either.

- Asked for a haircut short on the sides and long on top. Got a haircut that was just short all over. The barber made no effort at small talk, so I sat in silence the entire haircut.- I was faced away from the mirror the entire time, so I couldn’t see anything going on. I could have made mention that he was cutting my hair too short, but I had no idea what I looked like until the end.- No website, and no info online about booking. Apparently there’s an app you have to download. Which app? No clue. I walked in for a cut, and was told the wait was 45min. I ended up waiting almost 2 hours.- Cash only, which is super annoying in 2018.- Dated Playboy magazines laying on the table. 1. Why? 2. Gross.
