Nice place, slow elevator
I paid a deposit to use this hall on April 25,2020 because of the Covid-19 shut down I was unable to have my event. I have been in contact with whomever answer the phone and act like he is a different person since the beginning of April. I was told I would receive my full refund. I’ve been calling for over a week and have been lied to on numerous occasions always a different story. First I was told he only refunds on Sundays. I waited until Sunday I was told he was in Dayton give him a few hours, I waited four hours before I even called back then I kept getting the voicemail. I called the following day and received the voicemail and the following day as well. Then yesterday I called 3x back to back until he finally answered the phone stating “Tony” is who I’m looking for he had a death in his family and is in Tennessee. I stated someone needs to give me my refund because I have been super patient and I was told have my lawyer contact them and he hung up on me. I understand everyone is on hard times due to this pandemic but it’s very unprofessional of them to keep my money and play these games. I would never recommend anyone to use their services.
Waitin To Go View
I coordinated a wedding and the reception was at this hall. The experience started out not so memorable, the original person had the customer service skills and tact of a thumb tack!!! Things happen for a reason!!! We ended up with Connie and Leslie who went above and beyond to make sure the Bride and Groom had everything they needed for their special day. Thank you so much Ladies we really appreciate all you did for us.
Large reception hall. Great for parties, and weddings. 2 different halls with an excellent in house caterer if needed. They also offer bar service. Prices are very reasonable. Staff is friendly
Beautiful hall. Staff was very friendly and helpful!
Unprofessional I paid for a deposit and couldn’t get my refund said that he had a death in his family and he never answered the phone
Large space upstairs and downstairs. Nice and clean. Friendly staff.
Was there for a bridal shower it was nice
My bestie had her anniversary there. The way the place is set up makes it ideal to organize big family events. It allows for a wide variety of decorations and setting. The stairs however seem like they are about to give up at any moment...it was a bit rough to take the food using them.Use the elevator!
3 receptions here
They are nearly impossibly to communicate with. I have tried to contact them at least a half a dozen times about payment for services they authorized and they refuse to even call or email me back. This is why they do not have a website.
The hall is very nice and has a large, private parking lot. It was clean and close to my church. The person in charge of event contracts is difficult to work with and not very accommodating, even after promising to be. At our reception, we didnt get the real china or champagne toast we were promised. The DJs provided music, as part of the all-in-one wedding package offered by the hall, were teens, which was fine, but they didnt provide microphones for announcements and toasts. They also did not provide the flow to stage the reception. They did play music from a playlist, but the timing for the music never seemed right.
I loved the banquet Hall!! Very large and spacious, We had my grandmas 80th birthday party on Sat, Nov 10th, 2018 7pm to 11pm. The event planner Ms. Connie was an amazing throughout the whole process. She helped with the decorating and more. She and the members of the Elk Lodge were very welcoming and willing to assist with anything we needed. Theres a large area behind the building for parking, and an elevator that made it easy for the elderly and handicapped. Cash bar and also a Coat check closet. They even allowed us to bring our own food. My grandma loved the venue and her party was a hugh success.
A nice venue with beautiful newly refinished hardwood floors and plenty of space and accommodations.
I recently helped a friend plan a wedding reception for this venue. The biggest word of advice I can give is KNOW the contract you are signing and do NOT sign the contract if you are unhappy with any of the terms and even then make sure you hold the venue to the contract they provide. Do not make any assumptions. The halls coordinator verbally gave several concessions for decorating the hall, but became difficult when we asked for these concessions closer to the event. He also cancelled and/or rescheduled face to face meetings with little to no notice and was very difficult to get ahold of prior to the event.Be aware that the DJ provided in the package will only play music and will not emcee your event, nor provided a microphone for a emcee.Glassware, china, and stainless flatware ended up being paper and plastic, though the contract had these items listed out. A champagne toast listed in the contract was not provided at all.
