We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Clermont. Our apartment was spacious and beyond comfortable. The balconies were a BIG plus.Additionally, Missy and Ken (landlords) were flexible and supportive. We highly recommend the Paradrome apartment complexes!
My husband and I rented with Paradrome Properties in East Walnut Hills for the last 4 years. Overall we liked it - the location was great, we liked our street, and our apartment was pretty good for how old the building is (100 years old). Couple downsides from living there - the amount of dust and dirt that accumulated was overwhelming at times. I felt like I was constantly cleaning everything including the ceiling fans. We also had some problems with noisy neighbors above us, but youll have that with an old apartment building and creaky hardwood floors. The radiator heaters also made some loud noises from time to time when they turned on in the winter time. We also killed what appeared to be water bugs from time to time (a type of cockroach I believe), again, this comes with an old building. What I loved about our apartment was the charm and character, the open floor plan and all the natural light that came through all the windows in every room. Plus they are one of the only few dog friendly rental properties we could find in a good location! Don the maintenance guy was great - we called him for a few things over the years (including the time I accidentally dropped my engagement ring down the bathroom sink drain) and he saved it. Our landlord Missy was also pretty good. We never had any issues while living there for 4 years. Overall Im glad I chose Paradrome Properties for our first residence as Cincinnatians and will always cherish the memories we made there!
I havent moved in yet, but Im giving Missy 5 stars. I am relocating from out of town, so my entire apartment search has been via internet/email/phone. Missy put together a video tour so I could see a walk-through of my apartment, has been extremely responsive to all my questions and has been nothing but wonderful to work with. I am very excited to move into my apartment next month, and look forward to an easy transition, thanks to Missy!
My husband and I rented an apartment on Mt. Adams for around 3.5 years, and only moved out due to transferring out of state for work. The apartment was well maintained and spacious for a one bedroom, and the views are some of the best in the city.Missy was always friendly and very responsive. I definitely recommend renting from Paradrome Properties.
My husband and I chose to rent with Paradrome Properties (Salutaris Court) when we first got married and we lived in our apartment for 5 years total. We were first interested in the building/unit because it was unique, it was not a cookie cutter apartment complex, Salutaris Court has a ton of character and history and the location is perfect if you want to be close to the OTR/downtown area. Another plus of the building is that they are dog friendly, we had a giant breed dog (greay pyrenees) and Paradrome was one of very few owners that do not have breed or weight restrictions. There is a parking lot in the back of the building, there arent parking passes but between my husband and I, we have 2 cars and never had any problems finding a spot. IF it was ever full, there is plenty of safe parking on the street--its a safe and quiet street. If we ever had issues, we would contact Missy (landlord/building manager) and she was very responsive. Typically we would have someone from the maintenance team at our unit unit by the same day or next day to look at the issue to see how they could solve it. I would definitely recommend Paradrome to anyone looking. I moved to Cincinnati from a small town and felt very well cared for while living in their building. Check them out, they have tons of buildings throughout the city!!!!
The view at Oregon Mews in Mt. Adams is one of the best in the Country. Low enough light pollution that I can view Saturn and Jupiter from my Balcony while still being able to view downtown Cincinnati, Newport, and Covington. The layout of the Apartments may aswell be called Studio as there arent a bunch of useless doors and walls taking up all of the potential space. Im a minimalist and this is exactly the style of place I love. #NeverMoving 🙂
Paradrome is so great that Im leaving my first Google Review.Ive lived at a Paradrome property for over a year, and this has been the best experience Ive had as a renter. Missy and the rest of the group are incredibly responsive, and are available seven days a week for any issue or questions you may have. If not for us finding our first home, we would be staying much longer. Thanks for making our apartment feel like a home!
I rented one of Paradromes Oregon street properties for about a year and half and it was great. Straightforward processes and lease terms. Missy the property manager was always responsive and friendly. I never had any real issues but if I had, Im confident they would have been sorted out quickly. I also really like that they are local. If I hadnt moved cities, Im sure Id still be at my old place. They have some really cool rentals just east of town and I cant recommend renting with them enough.
The courtyard at Madison Court Apartments is a beautiful gem of the property. I enjoyed looking out my window to see and hear nature daily. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The apartments have a rustic feel which added to the character. Most of my friends always preferred coming over to my place rather than having get togethers at their place. If I move back to the Nati, Im going to move back to Madison Court Apartments.
Welcome Home!I am a current resident of Paradrome Properties at their Upland Place town home and this place is AWESOME. Right from the beginning of home hunting my experience with Paradrome and their super property manager Melissa aka Missy was a complete 10/10 stars! I started looking for places online and sent them an email to set up viewing appointments. Missy replied immediately and we were off! She personally drove me to look at places she thought would fit my lifestyle and to be completely honest I fell in love with the first place I saw and it was the best decision I ever made! First off the place is beautiful townhouse attached to a 19th century home. To the right of the house is a private walk to our townhouse with an open foyer and a double door entrance to our door. Inside there is a newly renovated kitchen, beautiful glass/wood cabinets and stainless steel hardware. I can’t say enough how much we love this place! Not only is this a great modern place it also has a beautiful stone garden/ravine in the backyard perfect for our summer parties. We have lived here for two years I can honestly say that the Missy and the entire staff at Paradrome have been incredibly professional and we really feel like they care about their residents. Maintenance is just superb, although, we did not have any major issues that needed to be address. The only times we call them is to help change the high ceiling lights that have gone out! since we don’t have a ladder! The other is when our pilot light went out and we didn’t have hot water during the middle of the night. Missy called us back right away and had the maintenance man come and fix it first thing in the morning with no problem since! It really amazes me how dedicated they are to providing residents the best experience they can. Every single time we had these small maintenance issues it was fixed within the same day, usually within an hour of me emailing Missy! One time we accidentally locked ourselves out of the apartment during the evening. We called Paradrome, left a message on their emergency voicemail. Missy called me back immediately to help us even though she was at a baseball game! I cannot stop raving about our experience with Missy and Paradrome. They have constantly gone above and beyond for us. They are professional, caring and extremely dedicated to their residents. If I did not have to move to another state for a new job, I would stay here FOREVER! As I am apartment hunting with other properties I really see the difference between how Paradrome does business and other managements do! Thank you for a wonderful 2 years!
I rented from Paradrome Properties for almost the last 4 years. I lived in two different apartment buildings, both in East Walnut Hills. The first one was a gorgeous two bedroom... HUGE, with two decent sized porches. The second was a very homey feeling one bedroom apartment with both a living and dining room. Both units were in really neat older buildings with lots of character, but obviously the apartments had been renovated. Missy is amazing to have manage the business and really has your best interest in mind. Surprisingly I never had any issues with either place. Location is perfect. Lots of closet space in the units. Never would have left if I was going to continue to rent.
Im leaving my apartment located on Salutaris Avenue in E. Walnut Hills after nearly 10 years!! I absolutely love the location of my apartment, less than a mile walk to Eden Park. The building itself is old but beautiful and well-cared for. Heat included is a plus!! My one-bedroom unit includes a nice-sized living room AND dining room, hard wood floors, gas stove in the kitchen, big windows, lots of natural light. I will always have a place in my heart for this apartment. Thank you Paradrome Properties for providing and caring for this building. I highly recommend this management company. Response time for any issues has always been immediate. I always felt safe, secure and was provided contact information in case of any issues reported after office hours. Great neighbors, great location, beautiful apartment, AND reliable management company!
I rented from Missy for 3 years after moving back to Cincinnati and am so thankful to have found Paradrome Properties. The units were affordable for the location and any issue was addressed immediately when brought to managements attention. Cant say enough good things about this team.
I have lived at the Claremont just over 3 years and loved it! Spacious apartments, polite professional neighbors, and the building is very well kept. The biggest highlight of almostall the units is the amount of storage, lots of closets and unique built ins. The kitchens are updated and the wood floors are beautiful. The price of the units are incredible for the size of the space. Location has been awesome, very close to downtown, Hyde park, Oakley, and New Port. Several new businesses are opening in the area adding to the locations charm and walkability. Very close to Eden Park, I take many morning and evening walks to the reflection pool and back! The property manager Missy is amazing, she is very responsive and takes care of her residents needs.
So many good things to say! The apartment itself was beautiful. I stayed in Madison Court Apartments. The view to the courtyard was so peaceful, the kitchen and bathroom were both updated and the overall apartment had so much charm and character. Add on to that the incredible location and you have the perfect apartment. If that wasn’t enough, Missy is incredibly responsive and adaptable. She has set the standard for landlords. Overall 5/5 rating from a very picky person. So happy I ended up there.
My wife and I lived in Salutaris Court for around three years while I finished up graduate school. Missy, Ken, Don, Dan, John (the postman) and some great neighbors made Salutaris Avenue a great place to spend this time. Our experience was very good from the start, and Missy has been particularly accommodating for all of the routine maintenance requests and other issues that come about in a rental situation. When we would ship things to the office when a signature was required, they would be signed for, we would receive an e-mail letting us know they had arrived, and oftentimes, Missy or Don would actually leave them inside the door of our locked atrium.Landscaping is great, the area is quiet, and the steam heat works well enough to walk around in shorts during the winter if you felt like doing so. I plan to own rental properties in the near future, and Missy and Ken have set a solid example for how to do this successfully. I would live here all over again.
Great experience with Missy! I stayed in Monastery Apartments and you cant beat the view or price. Everything was taken care of in a timely fashion and very happy I made the choice to stay there. I was most certainly the envy of many friends. Good neighbors and privacy as well, very nice for an older apartment building. Again, would most certainly user her as a landlord again if I needed to.
My fiance and I had a wonderful experience renting through Paradrome Properties for the past 4 years. We fell in love with the beauty and charm of the apartment at first glance and it was even updated with fresh paint and brand new appliances immediately after signing.Missy, the property manager, and Don, the maintenance man, are professional, considerate, attentive, and always available. I admit I have locked myself out of the apartment more than once, and after calling the emergency maintenance line, Don would drop what he was doing and come save the day within a half an hour. We received replies for maintenance requests and any other correspondences within a day.We loved our neighbors and made many great acquaintances and even friends! Everyone looked out for each other and made the building feel like a small community. The best perk for us was that our building was pet friendly with no breed or weight restriction. Before we moved in we knew we wanted to adopt a larger dog, and when we asked Missy about any restrictions, she actually told us she preferred bigger dogs because they barked less - score! Our time with Paradrome Properties only came to an end when we purchased a home. We knew we could take our time finding the perfect home since we loved our apartment so much. We even decided to stay in the same neighborhood due to the positive experience we had living there. We highly recommend this agency to anyone looking for a rental on the east side!
Management was responsive, kind, and friendly. I moved from New York and they allowed me to ship everything I ordered to their offices for safe keeping. They also allowed me flexible lease terms because I was in a unique short term stay for work. Missy and Ken will work with you to find the perfect home and lease for your needs. I cannot say enough great things about my apartment at Madison Court and their courtesy. Definitely rent with Paradrome.
I lived in Eden Park with Paradrome for 4 years. Missy is the greatest landlord I’ve ever worked with. She was responsive, quick to fix any issues, went above and beyond on solutions and was always lovely to deal with. I never had a problem that she took more than 24 to address (usually it was way way less!). I have sent a number of friends to live with Paradrome and everyone has been as satisfied as I was. I can’t say enough good things about living in a Paradrome property.
My husband and I lived in a Paradrome Property for 2.5 years. We absolutely loved our apartment in Mt. Adams. Missy and the Paradrome Team was easy to work with. They fixed reported problems we reported in the evening the very next day. We are going to miss the view from our balcony!
We’ve had nothing but great experiences since renting from paradrome. We have been residents for a year and plan to stay for awhile because of how attentive they are, in addition to how beautiful the property is. They are always very responsive to requests, our neighbors are great, and everyone we’ve dealt with in the office is helpful .
I lived in an apartment managed by Paradrome Properties for two years and loved everything about it. Missy was very responsive and easy to work with. The buildings are beautiful and well-maintained. Any problems that ever came up were quickly resolved and communicated to residents. I would very gladly rent from Paradrome again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming apartment with excellent management!
Great landlord. Anytime our business rental property has an issue they are on top of it!
The best renting experience Ive ever had! Maintenance requests are completed same day, sometimes within the hour you called! VERY friendly staff... Missy is GREAT to work with! They own several properties within the Cincinnati area. Would highly recommend Paradrome Square Properties to anyone!
I moved into 2400 Grandview at the start of my fellowship. My girlfriend turned fiancé turned wife joined me a few months later and called it her oasis. She and I loved our time at Grandview and started our family there welcoming our son two years into our stay. If I had to do it again, I would absolutely choose Grandview or any of the other properties that Paradromw manages.Grandview is a grand old (over 100 years old), pet friendly, apartment building in the heart of East Walnut Hills. Despite its age, Paradrome has managed the property very well with new appliances, central air/heat, and a very responsive staff. I called only a few times for emergencies, and they were handled swiftly and professionally.Thank you again for providing my family and I such a great place to call home while in Cincinnati!
Paradrome Properties had a great selection of units in some of the premier locations in Cincinnati. Their units definitely have the Cincinnati Charm; updated units in historic buildings. I rented through them for 3+ years and they were always very responsive to issues or requests, and made both repairs and improvements quickly. Highly recommend to pursue working with them.
I rented from Paradrome on two separate occasions. Most recently for four years.Great people. Quick and reliable response to any maintenance issues and overall an excellent experience.Paradrome would be my first place to look if I were to rent again. Highly recommend!
I lived at Madison Court through Paradrome through 2015 and I really, really love living here. The landlord, Missy, is prompt and friendly with any tiny little issue that came up. Fast response from maintenance is another plus. I wish that the units had A/C (summer was pretty hot) and parking is pretty limited, but otherwise this was one of the best companies that Ive rented from in Cincinnati.
I highly recommend Paradrome properties. The apartments are spacious and well taken care of. Missy was always responsive to any questions or concerns. No complaints!
My wife and I were moving from New Mexico 2 1/2 years ago and wanted to live close to the city and not in your typical cookie cutter apartment building. We came across Paradrome Properties & the Clermont building and they were fantastic. It is a family business and they have some of the most beautiful buildings and helped us learn about the area and every detail about the apartment. We could not see the apartment before renting but we were not worried because of the help from Missy and her father. The apartment was gorgeous with wood floors throughout, marble fireplace, 10ft ceilings, pocket french doors separating the common areas, 2 balconies overlooking the area. Our friends and family loved visiting and we couldnt image a better place to live. If we needed something Missy and her father would help right away. I have traveled all over the US, moving every two years for work and this is by far the best management company, apartment & building I have lived in.
Read this before renting. I am a resident of Paradrome Properties in East Walnut Hills. Last night, one of my cars were parked in a commonly used parking space designated for folks who live in my building. My girlfriend woke up to the car having been defaced by the owner of Paradrome Properties. Apparently, she parked in the spot he is partial to when he visits the East Walnut Hills office. He left a note and wrote on her windshield. The note reads, Pardon me, are you a slow learner? Do NOT park in the space. Additionally, he wrote Do not park here in DEODORANT on the windshield. When my girlfriend discovered this and was trying to clean off her windshield, the day to day landlord drove by. The day to day landlord saw the note and the deodorant smeared on her windshield and said, Oh, that was my dad. He is in town this week. Could you just not park there for now? There were no prior notices, signs or conversations about any parking spots being off limits. I am extremely disappointed with the management of Paradrome Properties and hope anyone reading this might take caution renting from them. Especially if you are looking for a landlord that respects your personal property more than where they like to park their BMW.Additional observations: My apartment has a broken toilet that Paradrome has refused to fix for over a year, they do not have security cameras and have yet to replace numerous light fixtures over entrance ways into the building. Great location but the cracks definitely show though.
These apartments were recommended to me by a friend. While they are spacious, I have had nothing but problems since moving in 2 weeks ago. First of all, the day I was scheduled to pick up the keys, the property manager had a mess at her office and had lost my key. She gave me the building key and I had to wait for the maintenance guy to remaster the lock. Secondly, the bathroom was filthy to the point of having to use industrial cleaner. The shower head was spraying water 360 degrees and the faucets were falling off. Sadly, these issues should have been taken care of prior to move in. I already was regretting signing a lease within the first 24 hours. It has now been two weeks and I have had more issues. I still havent received a mailbox key after multiple emails. Completely unprofessional. If I had a mailbox key, do you think I would be bugging the manager just to get one? We will see if I have one by week 3. Also, my dishwasher flooded. I previously asked for the emergency maintenance number and wasnt given one. Luckily, I just contacted my friend and got it. My entire kitchen was flooded. I called at 9:00 p.m. and didnt get a call back until 7:15 the next morning. Also, no time estimate was given. Again, luckily my boyfriend was off work that day and was able to let the plumber in. At no time was I notified when the work would be done and that someone would need to be home.I would never recommend living in any of their properties. Clearly, the manager does not do a good job, is not professional and only cares about cashing your rent check. I cant wait until this lease is up.
Paradrome has been around for more than a decade in Cincinnati area (or two).1. Most of their buildings are older than avg buildings in Cincinnati. To my knowledge no major renovation has occurred at any of their properties in last 4-5 years.2. Property I live on Victory parkway has horrific safety record, numerous burglaries over last few years. Check public record at of their properties.3. Building management is average, fluctuates between average and poor experience.4. Overall I would pay below market rate here, personal opinion.5. Missy and Don are decent people, not sure about others.
I moved into the edencliff property outside of Eden Park on Victory Parkway. At first, Missy (property manager) was friendly, and continued to be throughout my time at the rental. However, there were numerous problems - almost on a consistent basis throughout my year lease. This led me to believe that the property aims to rent to recent grads who are less likely to complain about rental issues, or perhaps this property is not managed as well as the others. Here was my experience:Security is a big issue. The property needs security cameras. The surrounding neighborhood has a high rate of theft. Myself and other neighbors had multiple packages stolen out of the front lobby. Rather than fixing the problem, Missy suggested to send the package to the main office. Also, numerous cars were broken into from the parking lot.Secondly, I was mislead while taking an intial tour of the apartment. I noticed watermarks on the ceiling and asked the Property manager if the ceiling was or had leaked. She said no, however, during a thunderstorm two leaks opened the ceiling and had to be fixed.Third, a couple months after moving in my heat stopped. I bought an electric heater and deducted the expenses from my rent. This continued for at least two months having no heat.I would not recommend this management company. While key personnel are nice and helpful, it was not enough for me to be satisfied with the experience.
I moved to Cincy from San Jose, CA, in 1999. Found Paradrome online, and rented it without ever seeing it! Originally started in a one bedroom and then moved to a larger unit. Towards the end of the second year, I had to move due to an family emergency but I would have stayed on had it been possible. LOVED the apt, gorgeous, spacious layout and great staff,Would highly recommend to anyone!!Melody
I have rented from Paradrome for over 3 years both at upland place and Fleming St. The people are great Missy is nice, prompt and always very very helpful. They also have apartment in some great locations. I would strongly recommend them to people looking for apartments close to UC, CCHMC and downtown.
If I could give Missy 10 stars I would! Cannot speak highly enough of her and Paradrome Properties!! I moved into a property with a roommate and we realized two months in that I have a severe allergy to her cat. We went to Missy to see what our options were and she bent over backwards to make our transition so seamless! She worked the whole thing out and had new keys in our hands three short days later to two individual apartments! She had the new apartment painted and new countertops on the way in no time at all, and even gave us two weeks to move our belongings out of the old place with no extra charges, fees or deposits for switching our leases. This woman is a God send!!!! Also, anytime we have needed to contact her about other things she has responded so quickly and with such care. We had no idea what to do and in a potentially stressful situation she made our lives SO MUCH EASIER!
Loved my time with Paradrome in Hyde Park. Landlord is really responsive (repairs done very quickly), flexible, and friendly. If I werent moving to Clifton I wouldve stayed with them!
I had Paradrome as my landlord for 3 years. They were attentive and easy to deal with. Definitely recommend! :)
We moved from the Mid-Atlantic and lived in Cincinnati for only a year so I could finish up training at one of hospitals. The move-in experience was smooth. Missy typically was quick to respond to our issues including termites in the living room and a mouse that temporarily moved in (our cat killed it). The security of the building was average.Issues came when we were moving out when we thought Management was being flexible with us in terms of our move-out date and having the extra dates prorated. At no time, did they explicitly state over the phone or by e-mail the fact that we would be on the hook for an entire month. After we moved out, we sent several e-mails and phone calls, but they were slow to respond. When we finally were able to talk to them, they claimed it was their “right” to charge us for the whole month as they were following Ohio Law. However, one of my former colleagues who lived in Brookstone Village in Cincinnati was easily able to have her additional days prorated without any problems. In fact, she moved up her move out date at the last minute and they accommodated that change.Ultimately, they can cite the original lease, but we feel that communication was poor and ultimately it was poor business practice.
My wife and I rented from them for our first apartment. They have a great selection of apartments and are excellent to work with. Whenever we had issues they we very quick in resolving them. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for an apartment in the mount adams/ hyde park area.
Weve been waiting for our bathtub to be resealed since July. Its cracking and not a smooth bottom for baths. If we were to have anyone else come to seal it, its money out of our pockets. Weve been patient and given them friendly reminders over the course of months. Just recently one person said they still have to email the contractor. It has been 5 months in order for them to do that. Also weve experienced a heating problem, where my room is too hot. The steam heat seems to always be spraying and was even on in October (we had a hot fall). To turn it off is rusted. Weve asked about someone coming to help adjust the heat and our request is ignored. Ive been asked if I could keep my window open to air out the heat. That is not ethical to do over the winter, and it looks lazy that they are thinking of ways not to come fix it. They do not check in on tenants or maintenace whether the job was done. We asked about it earlier this week and their response is that they thought someone came over to check on it. Nope. Two stars given because the people here are nice and friendly. That being said, they are extremely forgetful, unorganized, and slow to respond to requests from the people who pay them a thousand a month to live there.
Mexican worker caught looking in my bedroom where my wife was sleeping during a job to replace a blown vanity strip in our bathroom. Three years of loyalty.
I HAVE BEEN 3 YEARS WITH THEM, AND LOVE IT, IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEM THEY WILL FIX RIGHT AWAY, RENT IS CHEAPER COMPARE TO OTHER PLACES AND THEIR PLACES ARE NICE
Constructively evict depositors (tenants) to procure another security deposit and increase rent -- slum business, nothing personal.Paradrome Properties uses a pest control product, such as Orion, which is available at local hardware stores, like Ace Hardware, which produces a high-pitched and piercing noise to repel tenants form their deposits. This product is used by Orkin in order to repel crawling pests, but when installed by PRN Construction while making a garden-variety repair at your Paradrome Properties apartment unit, youll be crawling out of your unit and away from your deposit.Find the Resistor or, pay.
The landlords are very easy to deal with
