Maintenance went into my apt at Kings View almost 2 weeks ago due to a leak from my unit into the one beneath mine. I was NEVER notified that they were going to be in my apt and my work order was already completed! Now there have been huge holes put into the dining room wall of my apt! This property was switched over to a new management company on Aug 1st. I have been emailing with who is suppose to be the property manager since I moved in about several maintenance issues but this is the last straw! The new management company is telling me that they need to be held responsible for it but I am not being contacted from ANYONE! I was told that the regional manager was no longer working with them. Ive received one too many apologies about my apt being rented to me with out being MOVE IN READY! Those issues werent even addressed in a timely fashion! I do not want a ridiculous response from anyone as I can see this is the theme when a negative Google review is posted about this community because my feelings are valid! I am sickened at the thought of having to pay rent despite all that Ive been through! See the pics I am posting with this review and COME FIX THE HUGE HOLE IN MY WALL!!!

Apartments are nice and updated with a beautiful view of downtown. We loved living here. The only real problem is the roach infestation.

There Center Bathroom Needs To Be Kept Up Like Tissue Hand Soap Paper Towels To The Hands

Besides the pest infestations and poor maintenance response mentioned in other reviews, the office has a problem with paperwork and communication and youre lucky to even get them on the phone. They lost my move-out notice and then claimed I abandoned the property and now Im facing a $900 charge from a debt collector.I was actually thinking about moving back in but not after they pulled this on me, they lost a good tenant for life. If I could give a lower rating a would.

This complex is the worst ever. Dont leave it if you dont get excited

The ladies in the office are great. However the buildings need remodeling asap, the flooring was nice as well as the view but the building and the apartments are antiquated

This place has definitely gone down in quality over the years and I guess the management is fully aware of that. The only reason for such a neglect I can think of is that they are becoming ever more greedy. Price-increase happens every once a while, whereas the tenants get nothing in return. The place is infested with mice and roaches. Once the thing is broken, it takes forever to get that fixed.

Rental hall very nice..Not cleaned from night before,unisex bathroom dirty and no paper supplies,. Nice kitchen...no trash bags, pizza boxes left in fridge. Failure to communicate was the issue. Venue started an hour late.

Giving this apartment complex a 1 star is bad enough this apartment complex has a mortgage on it the rent to high for a one bedroom i did not know my rent was this high till i lived here for a month scamed roaches and Field mice they have monthly pest control come but its no help the rent for one bedroom is really over 730$ for one bedroom no security cameras mail has been stolen so has packages do not live here the managment is money hungry this place is a slum they dont fix anything till you keep calling them you they will get to you the only good thing is the rent is due by the 5th of each month they even offer payment plans if your behind but other then that the place is a nightmare my lease is almost up soon i will never go back to place like this

We moved 15 days ago into an apartment supposedly renovated when we arrived, it had no heat, the toilet makes a noise all day and the night under the dishwasher is running water the bathroom door does not saw the bathtub is peeled, it is not painted, the truth is I am disappointed I sent them a message and they never fixed anything I have to endure cold I feel sorry for my daughter and because I am pregnant I should not be cold, the truth is I would not recommend it

A peaceful place to live with an extraordinary view

We have lived here for +5 years. The location is convenient to all shopping, Grocery stores and Expressway. Love my newly renovated apartment.Management has been very helpful with concerns question or any issues.

Way too expensive for what these apartments are. You’ll likely have roaches and mice, and a daily smell of urine in the elevators and halls. People are always stealing your packages and management won’t install cameras. The view is fine but you’re also right above a water treatment facility which can’t be safe sanitary or healthy (smells like sewage every time it rains).

I have lived here for a year and everything I been needing fixed has not been done but it’s marked done in the online portal...I can’t get I contact with anyone

The place is even BETTER once you see it in person! They are very friendly, and professional! At the Front desk there is Emily she will go above, and beyond for you even after business hours. If you are looking for a great place to call home, I personally would recommend Kings Community! Youll feel like youve known them for years!!!!!!)

My fiance and I have lived at The Residences at Summit View since Spring of 2015, and to be honest, it has been exactly what we needed to make the next move in our lives. The rents are very reasonable, the view is the best around and if you mind your own business and take care of your own household, you should be comfortable. This apartment complex has been beat up in the comment section the last little while but I for one am glad it was here for us when we needed it. We have had zero problems with theft, vandalism, harassment or any other such thing at all. I have read reviews about open air drug deals, prostitution, and such the like but I have seen NONE of it. What I have seen is a working class neighborhood doing working class things. The neighbors I have had contact with have all returned at least a friendly hello when offered. There is a new management company that has purchased the property and I am certain that they want the best for themselves and the residents. I hope that there can be some cooperation so that The Residences At Summit View will be here for those who need it for a long time to come. If you need a reasonably priced apartment and do not expect crystal doorknobs or valet parking, at least check it out. Living here has got us to our next step, and we are VERY grateful!!!

Apts are too small and to much money also dirty. Great view of the city.I do not live at this complex friends do . i based my review on their building elevator scared me hallway dirty not saying the whole place is this way. But what I seen was dirty. But it has an amazing view of city

This is an amazing place all around there has been multiple management teams that never took care of the people or the place ive been here for about 2 months and im very happy with the people here all around from the workers to the people who live here they are doing everything they can so everyone who lives here will be happy working as hard as they can

I do not recommend living here. The only thing they are concerned about is how the outside appearance is. They are not concerned with the fact that we have a mouse and a roach infestation. The office staff are very nice when you’re turning in your rent check but give you attitude for just about everything else .

AVOID AT ALL COSTSI lived here for three years while I was in grad school. As a grad student, I was on a tight budget and this was one of very few places that I could afford. This place is a dump. The elevators are broken on a weekly basis, and the place is crawling with mice and roaches. Furthermore, and even more importantly, the crime at this place is terrible. In my first year living here, there were several drive-by shootings down in the parking lot, and a gun went off in the apartment directly next to mine one evening. Its pretty obvious that this place is filled with drug dealers. The management NEVER checks on units and they avoid making repairs at all costs. During my first summer there, a water pipe burst in my bathroom, flooding the entire apartment. They refused to change my carpet, which resulted in mold. The ONLY redeeming quality of this apartment is the view of downtown Cincinnati. However, with all the problems I encountered, I highly suggest avoiding this slum, even though it is one of the more affordable apartments near the downtown area.

Wow I loved it when I lived here some 30 years ago. Lots of activities for residents. The facilities include a gym, swimming pool, and jacuzzi. My unit had a perfect view of Downtown Cincinnati and Ive hosted several parties at my place and weve always enjoyed our barbecues at my balcony. Lots of parking then.

This place is TERRIBLE!! I have been living her for a year and it appeared to be nice in the beginning but it was deceiving! The owners are money hungry and inhumane - They could not care less about the well- being of their residents. They never fix any issues, they enter your apartment unannounced, and there are bugs everywhere. I went over a week without a tub or shower because there were plumbing issues so they attempted to replace it (without letting me know) and took their time in doing so. They left my bathroom a mess every time they entered as I was always at work while they were there. The plumber left dust and dirt everywhere and even his own trash (coffee cups, etc) for me to clean! Even when the job was finally complete there were still holes in my walls and it looks awful. They have not done anything to make up for this inconvenience. Their number goes to a call center so it is impossible to actually speak to the rental office unless you go in person (which I am unable to due to my work schedule). Dont believe their talk of the pool - it is mid July and the pool is still not open!! The view is not worth dealing with this terrible company!!! I am beyond frustrated with my experience here. Take my word for it and DO NOT RENT HERE!!!

I live in the Residence of Summit View and I have found the experience quite pleasant. The buildings are comfortable and well kept. The management is always doing something to improve the property. The landscaping is beautiful and the snow removal is great in the winter. I havent had any problem with bugs or critters. There was a problem with vehicle vandalism. That seems to have subsided. The Residences of Summit View is a quiet and peaceful place to live. It has my recommendation.

The property has really gone down hill. I have lived here for quiet sometime and instead of improving its getting worst. I see some good effort very cheaply done and the results show. I miss Me Brown God rest his soul he took excellent care of his property. He treated his tentants like family he cared about.

I highly recommend you avoid Uptown Rentals and Summit View Apartments at all costs. Not only do they just allow anyone to live in their apartments, they are one of the most unethical companies I have ever had to deal with.I lived at Summit View Apartments in Price Hill. When I first moved in, even though the manager assured me that they had taken care of the problem, there was a major roach infestation. Before moving in my things, I had to take care of the problem myself, as they refused to do it again.About 3 months in, they got a new property manager, Cookie, who refused to live there herself and allowed anyone and everyone to move in just to increase the number of residents. My wife feared for her safety so much that she wouldnt leave the apartment. There was so much drug dealing that a lady right above us got robbed at gunpoint and pistol whipped while her young children were in the apartment.Upon moving out, not only did they refuse to return our deposit, they charged us an extra $146 to clean the bathrooms and clean the kitchen, even though they were very clean, nothing beyond normal wear and tear. On top of that they said that the lease stated that we must show proof of professionally cleaning the carpets, which is illegal in the state of Ohio. If you are in the same situation, review Ohio Revised Code 5321.16, then hire a lawyer to sue them for your money back at twice the deposit (legal limit), plus any other fees, plus lawyer fees. Make sure that you have photos of before and after, and also have the walk-through forms from move-in and move-out.Document everything if you absolutely HAVE to live in an Uptown Rentals property, but try everything you can to avoid it.

Worst place to live, I had to deal with mold, roaches. And racism from the property manager. You call the office to tell them what is wrong with apartment and they give two sh** about and even lie saying nobody ever called. And if the manager doesnt like you she will send people in your home without you knowing and go through your stuff to see if they can find something to evict you. And if they dont like you because you call them out on their bull they do anything to get you out. Lived here for almost three years never had a problem until the new management. And if you go to court make sure you are really prepared because they will take you down with a whole bunch of lies on top of lies. And the pictures they have here its for the condos not the apartments for rent. And believe me theres always fighting, drug use, especially near the basketball court its full of used needles, they have no security what so ever and dont even bother calling maintenance because theres no such thing for a 24 hour maintenance. Theres always urine in the elevator of dogs and humans. Elevator constantly breaks down do to people smoking in it, and believe its like living in the projects. This is how bad it is over there. Thanks god i left. And found a better, quiet place and better than this.

This place is straight out horrible. There are mice in the walls which I have been complaining about for the last two months and I can still hear them crawling around. (I know they are there because all my neighbors hear them and see them). The elevators are often down, they boast about having tennis courts and trails when the truth is that they are filled with trash and littered with drug paraphernalia. Cameras on the property dont work and my scooter was stolen, they gave me the run around for two months before finally accepting they dont work. The management of this place cares about nothing but making money because I will say that is not cheap, they think they can do anything and charge whatever they want just because there is a good view.

I have been living at The Residences At Summit View for a year now. I am at the end of my lease and CANNOT wait to leave!! The staff....eh its okay but they have been through 2 property managers since Ive lived here. Upon moving in we had a roach problem, that was taken care of. After that we had a mouse infestation, that is STILL a problem. Now as Im getting ready to move out, (mind you I havent been in my apartment for almost four months for personal reasons), I go to start packing and there is a bed bug crawling on my couch in broad daylight... I am now having to move my things without being treated because they do not want me in the apartment for treatment. I know someone who knows the OWNER of Uptown Rentals, Dan Shimberg and this is a direct message from him to that person, I have been told she is welcome to vacate the property at the end of the month when her lease is up. If she wants to stay she will be required to pay rent. We are not experiencing bed bugs in any adjacent apartment. The apartment is already leased but we will have to move that person until the apartment is treated. We would prefer to treat with her gone but cant force her to leave at the end of her lease. All I have to say to that is WOW!!!!I will NEVER be living at another Uptown Rental property for as long as I live and will tell anyone and everyone of my experience here at The Reaidences at Summit View!!! DO RENT HERE!!!!! This is a gross place to live and very sketchy!!!

Where do I begin?!My fiancé lived here during her senior year of college, so I was over quite a bit. First off, this is not the apartment complex you want to be in if you are a young attractive female. My fiancé and her roommate were constantly harassed by the residents.The leasing office is not helpful at all, and will charge you for everything (you can forget about your security deposit). The neighborhood is extremely loud, and unsafe. True story, two apartments down from my fiancé got broken into, and someone was even shot.Do yourself a favor and go check out apartment in Ft. Thomas or something, because they are around the same price but way nicer

Terrible Company They Dont Fix Anything. Elevators Are Broke Every Other Day I Had About 8 Mice In My Apartment At Once One Morning I Woke Up It Was One Dead Under My Bed I Ask Them To Have The maintenance Man Come Get It They Told Me Call Pest Control. The Ac Always Broken If You Are Thinking About Moving Here Dont Do It This Is A LOW BUDGET MOTEL ! THIS PLACE IS INFESTED WITH MICE THE WHOLE BUILDING.. AND ANOTHER BIG THING COMPLEX IS UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR HUMAN TRAFFICKING ALOT OF WOMEN COMING UP MISSING IN THEIR LOT AND WHEN FAMILY WOULD PUT UP MISSING POSTER COMPANY WOULD TEAR THEM DOWN.

If you love dealing with noisey neighbors all night and waking up to their trash all over youre deck and doorstep this is the place for you! Youll get to deal with it everyday so dont worry about forgetting to clean it up because more trash will always be there the next day. The nicest neighbors you get are the roaches that will invade your house by the plentyful. But thats only if all the mold or flooding plumbing doesnt get to you first. So after youre done dealing with that and you just want clean clothes they throw in a free complimentary dirty diaper in almost every dryer to give youre stuff a nice rancid smell! As far as maintenance goes good luck if you have any type of schedule because they will just come in and out of youre place as they please reguardless if you needed service or not, even when youre not home as well. How wonderful right? Even if you politely ask them to schedule a time best for both parties theyll just have someone show up un anounced like always! So if you like paying to have most of your stuff ruined all while being miserable everyday this is the place for you!

This Uptown property has gone down. The Tennis court is overgrown with weeds, volleyball court is nonexistent, the gym is outdated and the equipment is falling apart. Elevator keeps breaking down, dog urine in elevator, roach, bedbugs, mice infestation. Residents throwing their garbage bags in hallway and laundry. The amount of drug dealing which lead to several SHOOTINGS and heavy police presence. This place is turning into the housing project. Im glad i dont stay here anymore.
