I had one of the worst Customer Service experiences of my life in 8/2020. My visit was to get a quick check-up and get a Dental Form signed to start my 6 y/o daughter at a new school. I was with my daughter, my husband and my 1 y/o in the office.Prior to this, I had received a phone call from their receptionist confirming an appt. in 7/2020, I explained to her that the appt. was not necessary because my daughter had just had a Dental appt. at the Dentist they had referred me to get some work done, the receptionist asked if I would like to cancel and I agreed to cancel the appt.When making this appt. for 8/2020 the receptionist said you will be charged $25 for canceling your 7/2020 appt. I said ok, even though I wouldnt have canceled the 7/2020 appt. if I knew I was going to be charged $25. Once I checked into my 8/2020 appt. the receptionist stated that I will need to pay the $25 for canceling without 48 Hour notice. I explained to the receptionist that I thought the appt. was canceled before the 48 hours and I pulled up the phone call on my phone and asked her to pull up the date of the 7/2020 appt. The receptionist stated that she does not have that information. So, I stated then how are you going to charge me the $25 if you are not sure??At this point the receptionist got very upset with me and started raising her voice and pointing her finger at me saying that I agreed to pay the $25 over the phone. I tried to tell her that was before I knew about the 48-Hour cancellation and that I believe the appt was canceled prior to 48 hours.The receptionist kept repeating herself which is when my husband stood next to me and tried to repeat what I was saying to her.Next, the receptionist in the back started yelling at us saying that she overheard the receptionists phone call and that she (Me) agreed to pay the $25.My husband I kept trying to explain that it was before we understood the 48-Hour Policy and that we believe the appt was canceled prior to the 48 hours. Although we could hardly get a word in over the 2nd receptionist yelling.Then the 2nd Receptionist in the back started yelling that YOU PEOPLE ARE KNOWN IN THIS OFFICE because you canceled 2 appts back in 2018, and she started waving a file in front of our faces. My husband asked to see said: Canceled appts. And she responded I don’t have to show you anything and that they would prefer us to go to a different dentist.My daughter was then called into see the Dentist who was wonderful and personable and so great with my 6 y/o daughter. He was funny and very kind and he gave outstanding customer service.Unfortunately, we will NEVER go to this dentist again because of the receptionists. I told this to the front receptionist at the end of our visit and she responded “Good”.

Very helpful. I never feel forced to get something I am uncomfortable getting done. They came up with a helpful treatment plan for my teeth. 1The staff are super friendly. I appreciate the reminder calls and that they are willing to work with you.

I have been a dental patient at California smiles for almost two years and staff has always been super friendly and helpful. Anytime i had questions on my bill Dora and Larisa were always available to help. Love the unique funny stories the dentist shares as he is working on my teeth. I went to this office to get a second opinion about my so called gum disease. Another office said I needed deep cleanings and not regular cleanings. I didnt really believe the other office and thought they just wanted more money. The dentist at California Smiles explained gum disease to me and showed me the pictures they took with a special camera so I could understand the treatment I needed. The second appointment confirmed the treatment I needed. California Smiles was so nice and willing to work with me financially that I decided to have the deep cleanings at their office.

Listed as emergency denistry however when calling for info n appt no one answers. You are forward to a voice mail that asks to press 2 if emergency then more ringing and another voice message asking you to leave a msg. How is this being available to an emergency?

This place is a joke. Most unprofessional and flaky dentist office Ive ever been to.Im fairly new to the area and hadnt found a dentist yet. I purchased a groupon for an x-ray/exam/cleaning for this place in hopes of finding a regular dentist.I will never go back.I got there 15 minutes early since I knew Id have paperwork as a new patient. They still kept me waiting for over an HOUR after my original appointment time. That didnt impress me, but I know sometimes offices get backed up.They did the x-rays, left me back in the x-ray room for 30 minutes, someone else came back there and was about to do my x-rays again! I said, they already did them, they said they were going to see if there was a room available. Finally, they remember I was there and do my exam. The assistant seemed thorough enough, the actual dentist spend about 90 seconds examining my mouth and that was the last I saw of him.They kept me waiting in the dark for oh, another 15 minutes. Finally, they tell me they cant do the simple cleaning (polishing of the teeth that they do at EVERY DENTIST) because they Recommend I get a deep clean. I asked them why cant they do the simple cleaning and then I can schedule a deep clean? They said they wouldnt do it, Id have to pay $150 for the deep clean thus making my groupon a complete waste of money. Two and a half hours of my life wasted, and I didnt even get what I paid for! I do NOT recommend this office. Unless you love waiting and love being seen by people who have no idea whats going on, I highly recommend going somewhere else. This place is a joke. I have seriously never been to a more unprofessional environment.

My bite was off from another dentist for two years! I was accused of grinding my teeth. After Dr. Hector Suarez adjusted my bite, my teeth are flush and there is no reason to grind teeth that fit right. There is no more side to side movement! I had suffered from TMJ and tri-gemenial neurologia. Dr. Hector Suarez is really proficient at adjusting your bite so you will not have to go through any of these problems. I am healed and my jaw is aligned.
