Self service stalls are kept clean and usually have no issues. Vacuums are not great and nozzles are past their lifetime. Plus their vacuums are paid, while other places offer much better vacuums and compressed air for free. The automated wash is nothing special and a bit expensive.

My car has horrible milk looking streaks it was cleaner before i went in! I’ve been calling them and they don’t answer it’s ridiculous! Paid $14 for a pos carwash! This is all over my car! Never again will i go to this place!

Good car wash. People try to get in and out as fast as possible so that is nice. Card payments are cool and the dryer thing is cool too to remove droplets. Vacuum is only 1$ so yeah pretty nice car wash.

Hard water at a car wash facility should be a crime.Hard water leaves spots on the car that will have to be polished out if left to dry on the paint. Its hot in Chico, so they WILL dry on the paint. It leaves a residue on the car, especially prominent on black paint. The spotless wash helps slightly, but still left hard water spots and streaks everywhere.This place is not up to par with professional detailers, or, quite frankly, anyone with at least one working eye. The owners should invest in a water softening system. That would make it stand out from the many other car washes in Chico. I am not recommending this place and I will not be returning unless a water softening system is installed.

Been a chico local for most my life. This is the worst car wash Ive gone to in chico.

The manual stuff works great. The automated wash has problems cleaning the top 1/3 of my RAV4 as it slopes in at the top. This is common of automated washes though.

Use to be a good place. Now some of the sprayers at the self-wash are broken.

Convenient and clean. You do have to make sure the equipment is fully functional in the stall you are using, but it usually is.

The vacuums go for EVER on a small amount of money...although I have to say that the high pressure soap seemed a little lacking in soap in comparison to other self service car washes in town.....

It was good. Not great. The 14 dollar car wash did not remove all the dirt on the trunk of my car. I might just use the self wash next time. Overall wait was 20 minutes to use.

Washing equipment wasnt working correctly, called the helpline number three times during normal business hours, pushed to voicemail. Still no call back. Wasted about 5 bucks. I guess when youre the only game in town for pressure washing you dont have to provide much of anything...

Overpriced and you cant use the self spray wash bays with a credit/debit card(which is what I WANTED to do) I paid $14 for the deluxe drive through wash with flash dry and it definitely wasnt dry luckily I had brought a towel along, next time Ill just hand wash my car and it will come out looking better.

There’s always something broken.... I put money in the self wash machine and there was no soap coming out of the brush after the timers been running for a Few minutes . The vacuums are horrible the have no suction, the employee told me the good one is on the other end... the car wash it self always leaves pink soap water on it after the dryer. This used to be a good car wash when Mike worked there. Definitely falling apart.

Terrible experience the other day! I have been to this car wash so many times throughout the years and never had a problem. However, on this particular day, one of the self wash bays was out of soap (im guessing) because i tried to use the foam brush (like always) and there was no soap coming from the brush. Yes, I was slightly annoyed but I know that these things are going to happen and that it is out of the control of owner/operator.... But I called to inform the owner of the malfunction and was forced to leave a message on HER voicemail.. but, No problem, I can do that... sadly it has been 3 days now and I have left several messages (because she never answers) and now it is Friday and still no return call. Now, in my opinion, if you are a business owner and your machine or products do not own up to what they are supposed to, you take care of it and you also reach out to the person who has had the inconvenience as a result. I also feel like this is poor ethics on the owners part! I paid $10 to to wash my car WITH SOAP! And for some, $10 may be easy to come by, but for me, I live on a budget! I also do Lyft and I rely on having a clean and presentable car for my passengers! So, to the owner of this operation, until I have received a courtesy call and a refund, I will continue to post a negative review on your site for the locals to see. I have video of the entire situation and I will do my best to post that as well.

After traveling from Wisconsin, our truck was quite dirty both inside and out. We stopped at California car wash because of the five star ratings and glad we did. They took us right in, vacuumed out the truck thoroughly, and set to work cleaning the inside and out. We are thrilled with the finished job and the price. When we are in the area, we will definitely come back and have them work their magic again. Thanks for a job well done!

Vacuums do a fair job and having more than one shampoo machine is great. The wash bays are always functional with decent water pressure. Automatic wash intermittently works well but the 1800 number is helpfull if you have a recipet.

Wont be coming here again. Paid $12 for their best wash yesterday and there was a car in front of me in line who, when their wash was done, backed up inside the wash then pulled forward and took my wash! I honked at them but they didnt move. I took a picture of their license plate and contacted the car wash leaving a message. Waited all day for someone to call me today. No one did. Call the number again and it went straight to the woman Blairs voicemail...Did you block me Blair? While I totally understand that it isnt their fault, they could have called me back and at least tried to help me get my money back from the people who took my wash. I contacted the non-emergency police line who told me to wait to hear back from the car wash but I have a feeling that I will just have to file a police report stating the carwash was uncooperative and give them the picture of the license plate from the person who stole my wash. Found another car wash in Chico that has excellent reviews and will be taking my business there. If I ever come to this car wash again it will be to dump my garbage and nothing more. I agree with another poster who stated their vacuums were frequently out of order.

Middle of the night. Open. Convenient since we were staying at the RV park next door. Felt like the place was a bit neglected. No soap in the spray wash but hey, it was late. Place could have used a wash down, but I would go there if in the area again.

All of the vacuums were broken except for 2.2 of the wash stations I pulled into I couldn’t pay because the coin dollar and credit card slots we’re all broken.After finding one I could pay for the jet nozzle wouldn’t spray off a dead fly that just died.And after spending two minutes on the spot free setting, I arrived at East Avenue with all my windows spotted.I won’t use this car wash again.

The drive through carwash didnt finish my wash. I aid for the ultra deluxe $12 and the cycle never completed so that was a bummer.

Not a terrible place, but card never works when I try to go through the touchless wash. I dont carry much cash on me, and what I have is to get my lunch for the next day. Tried to wash it today, and card reader kept saying the same thing it always says. Card can not be read, etc. It is a fairly new card with plenty of money on it. Is anyone else having this issue? Or should I just start going somewhere else, cause I am one of the few that has this issue? It is sure not fun having to back out, especially like today when there is someone waiting

Went there today and had an over all bad experience. I assumed everything was working and placed $5 on the selfwash machine at Bay #5 and suddenly noticed that the pressure gun was broken. I couldnt wash my car like that. I then called to see if I can get in contact with someone, but nothing. I left a voicemail. Im hoping I can get my money back or something... I couldnt even cancel the machine, overall it was a bad experience at the selfwash! I went to Bay #2 and that one worked fine...but came home to find out that I was charged $10 on my credit card for only 10minutes! What the heck???

The self service is great, thought Id try the feather touch, 8 dollars for a rinse. Didnt use soap and left a bunch of dirt. Wouldnt try the automatic wash, but self service is worth the price.

The vending machines are always stocked up with car care products and Ive never run out of any soap while washing my cars and trucks. Reasonably priced

Great, clean, do it yourself carwash, where they really keep up on maintenance. No broken machines. No overflowing garbage cans. And they take credit cards for all of the equipment.

I like that they accept cards so I dont have to get change, its always clean and a great self service car wash over all. You can use the drive through as well if you dont want to wash the car by hand. It does get crowded in the afternoon

Today was off to a rough start, I am a Local Taxi driver and First customer of the day spilled fluid all over back of cargo area and well it was a mess. Luckily CA car was was close by and this was my first time using shampoo part and it worked quite well and was ample time for a fare price. Was a little disappointed how many machines had issues I feel like the volume they do the could have someone a little more available for at least maint. I do use a only 1 other wash depending on which side of town and the other one is a little more run down but at least the operator is there to check on it. So 90% rating from me today
