I enjoy coming to Trim for other services but I would not go to Amber for last extensions. Sadly, she did my lashes and a friend I referred to her. The lashes were not glued or placed properly, she did a full set for me and fill for my friend. Thankfully we came back and another employee fixed them for us by taking them all off and said if we kept them on they would of ruined our natural lashes.I’m more disappointed in management for not making sure their employees are properly trained before working on clients. Also disappointed that Amber wouldn’t just be honest about her craft if you’re not ready your not ready .Don’t take peoples money when you know your not doing it right.

I love Trim, sadly I do not live near it but I still make the hike to go to this location. The estheticians do a great job and are very professional. The space itself is also beautiful. Highly recommend Trim.

What can I say about this place but that Patty is such an asset. I’ve been going there for 3 years now! She’s flexible with my schedule and gentle when it comes to my Brazilian. She also shapes my eyebrows just right! Always telling me what products to help my skin and things to try to help moisture my skin in our Chicago winters. The receptionist is always smiling and welcoming. The atmosphere is definitely soothing when waiting in the waiting room. This is definitely a must try for your waxing needs and ask for the best Patty!

Ive been going to Patty now for my Brazilians for 6 years! I started seeing her at the Trim Lincoln Park location when I first moved to the city and followed her to Bucktown when she moved over there because she is THAT good. Can get a Brazilian done 8 minutes or less and she makes the whole process as painless and comfortable as possible. Highly recommend her for all your waxing (and facial) needs!!

She made the whole experience totally painless, which is absolutely shocking because I normally get anxiety just thinking about getting waxed. She made me feel thoroughly comfortable, took her time, and paid much attention to detail. She’s truly a pro at her craft. I would definitely recommend her if you’re looking to have waxing services. Let me say I’ve gone to many waxing salons before, but I’ve NEVER had a painless experience before. I can’t wait to come back for my next wax - never thought I’d say that?!

This place is amazing. I have been seeing Evelina every since I started my waxing journey earlier this year. She is amazing, talks you through everything and is super thorough. I def recommend you ask for her. Especially if it’s your first experience. She also does facials, and is super informative and gives great recommendations. As for front desk, Michael, is super nice, pleasant personable.Check them out, you won’t regret it!

Lovely atmosphere in the salon and everyone was smiley and friendly from the moment I walked in. I had an eyebrow tint done and it turned out exactly how I wanted it too! Pleasant and experienced aestheticians provide efficient and precise services. It is worth it for me to drive all the way from the south side due to the confidence I have in them to get my waxing done with minimum pain and long lasting results.

If you need any waxing, go here. Ask for Alma. Seriously, shes amazing. Ive been here and had other staff do my waxing, and they were good, but Alma is the best.At Trim, all they do is waxing. Its their expertise, which means they are really good at it. For eyebrows, they have you lay back in chairs that are in the middle of the room you are in, which means they can walk around your head to work from every direction with a spotlight overhead - this absolutely makes sense for achieving symmetrical eyebrows (which most of us are usually going for). They are very attentive; they dont rush you to get on to the next client... they want to make sure you are happy with the results.Truly, isnt that what every salon should do? :)

I received a lash lift and tint by Melanie. She did a phenomenal jobs and the service turned out better than I expected. The facility is extremely clean in such a professional environment. I recommend Melanie and Patty. Also, their playlist playing on the overhead speaker frickin bangs. I was there for a good about of time and I was never disappointed.

I have been seeing, Sharon for a custom bikini wax for years. Sharon is incredible, has refined attention to detail and knows just the right way to make the process the least painful. While Sharon is my gir, everyone at Trim is great. There is a reason Trim has been around for so long; because they get the job done right and for the right cost!!

The first wax is half price! The lady who waxed me was super nice. Really cute shop too. Right off of the blue line.

I highly recommend NEVER going here. I saw the guy who worked there since he was the only one available and he RUINED my eyebrows (my eyebrows were completely different by the time I left - one was skinny the other was thick) also whatever wax/products they used made my face break out in big red bumps. I still had to pay for them ruining my eyebrows and nothing was handled in a professional manner. If you want to keep your eyebrows I suggest going somewhere else. Way over priced and did a terrible job.

Ive been to many waxing salons but I have to say Trim is the best. I asked my friend Aubrey if she could recommend a place and she suggested two options one being Trim. I called for an appointment and was surprised that I wasnt locked into a certain time. I went in for a brazilian wax which Patricia Lovane made almost painless and she entertained me with her great sense of humor. No more Groupon Im going to spend the $55 from now on for quality service.

This place is terrible!In 5 visits, I have only had mediocre service, and twice now I have been told I have to pay different amounts for the same exact services - while on the table - and with only a sparse growth of hair. Additionally, I have only been able to get the same tech twice, and she was only ok. But this speaks to the total lack of consistency of this place, which leads to situations like the one today.For today, I made my appointment online, scheduling it as the last tech told me to. It was a Custom Bikini Wax with one other service tacked on. Barely a half hour before my appointment, I get an email saying one of the services has been cancelled. That is it. No explanation, no message, nothing. So I call in, and get put on hold.....for a long time. So long, in fact, that I now fear I am going to be late, so I hang up and call back. They answer and are miraculously no longer busy and can talk now. I hate that. They explain that mornings are crazy busy, which is why I was put on hold for so long before (more on this later). Anyway, the woman tells me that I dont need to schedule my services how I scheduled them because theyre all included in the original wax. This is in exact contrast to what the waxing tech told me last time - so was she just trying to tack on more services to up the charge and therefore her tip? Ok, whatever, I dont have time to argue. I jump in my car and race there so I wont be too late.I arrive 3 minutes late. And there isnt a soul there except the receptionist and one tech. No one. And the phones are silent. Busy? Really?The tech takes me back and I get ready. When she comes back in, we talk about what I want, and she immediately starts throwing attitude. She sneers that I didnt book correctly and that I should have booked a more expensive appointment, even though I booked exactly how the last tech told me to book. When I point out the lack of consistency in their services and pricing, she got even more haughty.Now at this point, Im stripped from the waist down with just a tiny hand towel covering my naughty bits and am not in a great position to argue pricing. I point out that I had a similar conversation about what is included in the appointment not a half hour before on the phone - the second call since I was forgotten about on hold the first time. She starting arguing about how busy they are in the mornings...all the while I am the only client there and the phones are silent. The place is literally echoing. So here I am, their only client in house or on the phone....and she is trying to tell me, with truck loads of bad attitude, about how they are so busy that they dont have time for basic customer service.Ok - so at this point, I dont want this psycho anywhere near me or my va-jay-jay. So I say, nope, Im done. And she starts maam-ing me. Maam. Maam! MAAM! Yeah, nope. No way. I put on my clothes, told the manager that her tech has a crappy attitude, and I walked out. Good riddance!Stay away from this place unless you want to be treated disrespectfully, always pay different prices for the same services, and never have a consistent tech.

Ive been going to Sharren for years for a Date Night package. Could not be happier with the prices or level of service!

Didnt even make it in for a waxing. I called at 9 am to cancel my appointment that was scheduled for 11 am and informed them that I had to take my daughter to the doctor because she was sick. The receptionist told me they had a 4 hour cancellation policy. Trim will never get my business.

Broke all the hairs instead of ripping them out & charged me more in person than they said over the phone. Some serious BS going on

Always busy but theyre open early til late, which more than makes up for it.
