JJ and his coaches create a safe, fun and very informative environment to learning Muay Thai. The members are amazing and also very helpful to help newer students. This academy is great for weight loss, confidence, self defense, or competitive prep. Overall world class authentic gym - try 1 class and you’ll be hooked.

Im very happy here! As a beginner, the trainers have given me extra help even in a group setting. My experience so far is that, if you let them know about whats going on with you, theyll work with you.Id wanted to learn about Thai boxing for years, and I was very happy to find CTBA from a simple web search. I read info on their website and then had a look at reviews on Google and elsewhere. I was very happy to sign up for a free initial class, no issues at all. I thought I would go home and think about it (joining), but I knew right away that Id found a good fit.I really like the trainers. I like their focus on people finding their own rhythm. They also know how to motivate while keeping things light.Finally, JJ (owner) and his front desk staff set a very welcoming tone. They explained the terms and conditions (which I knew from reading their website), and they answered all my questions honestly.Looking forward to a great summer with the team!

This place is awesome! I was out of shape before coming to CTBA and the crew here is so welcoming and the place is super clean kept! My body has transformed and I am getting back to HS shape. I burn about 900-1200 calories a work out with these guys!trust me. do the free class and it will have been the best investment of your life.

Basically one of my favorite spots now and theyve got me obsessed with muy thai boxing, which Im extremely grateful for. The owner, instructors, and members are all very friendly and welcoming. Thought Id be too busy to attend more than once a week, but I find myself prioritizing these classes over everything else lol. Thank you guys and keep up the good work!

I have been taking classes for about two month here and I am very excited I gave it a try. Which bring me to first thing I like - free trial class. Theres free parking in that area and I usualy able to find parking spot easily on a same block. Management does what they can to keep it safe in these Covid times. Everyone gets their temperature checked before entering. Changing rooms and bathrooms are nice and clean. Theres also plenty of lockers. No shortage of equipment and its in a very good condition. Other thing I like is that they have many coaches. So you get a variety of styles in teaching and practicing depending on classes you sign up during the week. Highly recommended!

If anyone is on the fence about joining, feel free to message me. JJ is about everything he says. When i walked in day one he and everyone else treated me like i had been there for years. And without asking i was given individual attention that helped craft me into a proper fighter. Even if fighting isn’t your goal, you’ll still be in an environment where you can COMFORTABLY learn, sweat and have fun. It’s evident that they love what they do there. I have since moved from Chicago but often wish i could move back SOLELY to be able to train here again.

I currently have my 8 yr old daughter enrolled and have been happy since day 1, the service is top notch, Joe at Front desk is at the forefront of service and had guided me into many future options for my child . JJ The owner strives to create the best environment for my kid along with all the kids there to learn and apply techniques in a fun and instructive way. Very rigorous training but for my kid she loves it :) . Very happy with the instructors and coaches :) . Would highly recommend this facility for any parent who wants their child to learn self defence and confidence

Came here for open mat on Friday. The facility is beautufu and the people are great

The child didnt shop up at the classes for 3 months and they still were charging for classes. When we called and told we moved and were not able to come to the classes, they asked for a proof - an utility bill. These guys will try to charge you for nothing thats their business in fact

The reason why I give this place a one star is not because of the training the trainers and training is great no doubt. Although when it comes down to support and canceling your membership its different. I was in Europe for 3 months now when I was there my 6month expired on August. I had told my dad to go to the location and speak with them about a cancellation so he did now when he went down there he explained to them what he wanted which was a cancellation now the employee did not know what to do or inform him on how to cancel but instead took his info down and said the manger will call you, which they never did. At this point I thought the manger had already looked into things and sorted them out until I see my credit card bill that I was charged for this month and last month after my 6month clearly the manger did not do his job. So I contact them today and they I spoke with the employee again clearly he had no idea what to do so he brought the manger on the phone Im speaking to him explaining the situation all he tells me to cancel your membership you need to email the company. Now I dont understand why the manger never had contacted my dad back with how to cancel but instead ignored the situation to ride out a few more months of income clearly the manger is not a business man nor does he know how to do business and this is very bad for the companies name. Please keep these things in minds before doing any paper work or anything with this gym because they will try to dry you out.
