Based off of good Google Reviews, I brought my suitcase to have a zipper repair. I wish I had taken before pictures, but trust me, he did an incredible job! The zipper pulls had fallen off and he even replaced them! It only took a few days and he was super kind to work with. I was happy that I could salvage this suitcase vs tossing it for a new one.

I Recommend Said Quality to everyone. No really, it’s the only store in Chicago that was able to fix my bag and it came out looking brand new. If I could give 10 stars I definitely would.

Took my boots there to get cleaned and have a chip in the leather repaired. After not calling me when they were ready, the chip wasnt repaired all that well and the boots were polished a much darker color than they shouldve been, they should not have been polished at all. Than I was charged $5 more for laces I didnt want. I had to spend even more money removing the polish. Spent $53 there and went out to buy polish remover.

If you own a lot of vintage shoes like I do I highly recommend getting them repaired by Said. My favorite pair of boots had tons of paint scuffs, the soles were coming off and he literally worked a miracle on them. They look like a brand new pair of boots. The footbeds had fallen out of my mules and he replaced them with soft buttery leather and stitched em up so they’ll never come out again. His craftsmanship is amazing and his prices are very reasonable. I’m so happy to have found someone that can extend the life of my 30 year-old shoes. Support local business !! This was my first experience with a shoe repair shop. I absolutely loved the shape of my favorite booties and did not want to just buy a different pair for the season. My shoes were worn and tired, so I took the chance with this place and could not be happier with the results!!This was an incredible experience, the owner even came in on a Sunday to accommodate my schedule and allow me to pick up the finished product. I literally have a new pair of booties. New heel, leather looks incredible, shiny, and the inside footing was replaced.I am very pleased with my decision and know now that it is worth every penny to have my boots repaired by Said instead of tossing for the season. Good job repairing torn accordion gig bag.

Came with torn basketball shoes and he was able to fix everything from the torn laces to the holes. He even fixed the stitching on the back. Price was very reasonable and will definitely come back here!

I went in because the zipper on my suitcase was broken and he fixed it perfectly plus fixed one of my wheels and touched up the back of the suitcase that had been damaged

Tiny little place for small shoe repairs. My over-the-knee boots had a needle in the shoe sole and he happily removed it instantly for $16. Great service!

Ive been coming here to Said Leather and Shoe Repair for about six or seven years now and Ive always found the work to be excellent. Ive had two leather jackets repaired along with five or six or maybe seven pairs of shoes that have been resoled and/or re-heeled and each time I was very pleased on how the repairs turned out and the charge each time was quite reasonable. I did read some of the other reviews that have been posted and I cannot believe they are talking about the same place and the same guy. No hesitation on my part to rate this shop 5 stars.

Im been coming here for years and this guy does a excellent job in all kinds of repairs and when I told him I was going to write a review he asked that I mention some of the items hes fixed - shoes, luggage, briefcases, belts, hand bags, wallets, buttons, zippers, baseball gloves, dog leashes and police equipment. He also offers shoe shining. Highly recommended, a five star shop.

I stained a new pair of shoes. They cleaned and put waterproofing on them. The shoes now look like new. The price was very reasonable too.

Heres a guy that is an expert on all types repairs. Shoes, luggage, purses, etc. Always does a great a job as far as I know and doesnt overcharge. Good to have someone like him around.

A terrific shoe repair and luggage and leather repair shop in the Irving Park neighborhood that someone reported as closed. Well, its April 15, 2019 and the shop is very much open and doing business as usual.

Said repaired my laptop case by replacingbroken zippers ..He did an outstanding job at a reasonable cost and in a timely time frame.

Brought in 4 pairs of shoes and a pair of boots that I was ready to throw out just to see if anything could be done.The guy repaired and polished all of them and I cant believe theyre the same ones I brought in. Amazing.

Shoes came back looking great--needed a shine and new souls. The shine was perfect but the actual repair was very shoddy. Worked great for a couple weeks before they started falling apart from regular use.

Six Corners repaired my shoes and purse in a week. Even though the total price was more than I wanted to spend and the store demanded full payment in cash in advance, I would still return for another repair. The repairs were incredible!

This place is a rip off. Went to have my shoes shined, tried to charge me 28 dollars and did garbage work! The shoes looked worse then when I brought them in. I do not recommend this place at all!

Horrible service. The owner was actually YELLING at the lady in front of me and me. Then he asked for crazy prices from both me and her (we were separate customers) and when we told him its yoo much he just yelled again telling us he doesnt need our service. I guess he doesnt need anyones service thats not the way to run s business. I went to another place and they fixed it quickly and MYCH CHEAPER and with no drama!

The worst place you can go to get your shoes repaired. Its overpriced and he ruined my shoes and didnt try to fix it. He over charges for a button repair which was nine dollars to fix a button and to clean and polish a pair of shoes was $40. Im all about supporting small businesses but when you screw over the people that support you its dead wrong. I definitely recommend you steer clear of this place.

Guy was a total jerk on phone. I called to ask if they redo soles and guy started yelling that he doesnt do home service. And then hung up
