She talks you through while you’re getting the laser hair removal. It’s been a few years since I’ve gotten a touch-up, that’s how great she is.Julie is fantastic! My skin has never felt better, plus the products are great for my sensitive skin. She never sells you on products or procedures you don’t need. Plus she is the sweetest! I see her every 6-8 weeks without fail.Ariana, what can I say, she’s the face of LaPiel! Hilarious, very down-to-earth, just a caring person. She’s always a pleasure, never rude, very accommodating.If you’re going to be late, please have somecommon courtesy to call. If there’s a problem, just call. I had one minor discomfort during a laser session. Instead of bashing them on social media, I called and explained my dilemma. They were able to see me within 48 hours. One call is all it took to remedy the problem. Don’t be so quick to bash a business on social media.

Lapiel is the real deal. Im new to Chicago and found Lapiel after trying to book an appointment at several other establishments who didnt return my call or advertised services on the website that they didnt actually offer. Lapiel got back to me within the day and booked my appointment the following day. Every single person I interacted with from booking to the consultation through payment was patient, kind, and thorough. They take the time to answer your questions and walk you through the process. Cant recommend them enough!

The skincare lines available are great and they also offer latisse and Botox. My experience getting Botox with Catalina was great, she was very thorough and answered every question and concern I had. Horrible customer service. Very rude front desk and over priced in comparison to the plethora of laser spas in Chicago. To preface, I had 3 treatments with LL and my hair is still there and my skin on my bikini line is darker; I mean the entire inner thighs are a shade darker. I plan to upload pictures.Do not dare try to reschedule an appointment, this is when they go from fake nice to very rude. Mind you, they reschedule my appointment and that was ok but apparently you cannot do the same. My last visit, the technician didnt even offer me goggles (very dangerous to your eyes) and I had to ask for a stress ball. . I have already told my friends to stay far away and I am going to blast them on my social media as well. They were just too rude and disrespectful on my last visit.

Lovely and clean, the front desk staff is welcoming and efficient. My appointment started exactly on time and ended early. I had several sensitive areas treated and Catalina was flawlessly professional. Having had my initial consult with her, I was already comfortable with her and how detailed she was about the procedures. During the appointment, she explained to me each specific area she was about to treat and how, warned me accurately about pain levels and checked in with me consistently ensure I was comfortable and able to tolerate any spicy areas. She also kept the conversation breezy for our hour-plus appointment, which kept me at ease. Ive had quite a bit of laser in the past but this was one of my favorite experiences and two weeks out is already a success. A bit pricier than some other spots in town but well worth the cleanliness, professionalism and kindness. Highly recommend.

Catalina and her staff are fantastic! The spa is very stylish and clean, and I always received welcoming and professional service. I am so happy I chose Lapiel Laser Center for my hair removal. I had several sessions for my under-arm hair in summer 2018. Catalina explained the entire process to me and answered all my questions. I have dark hair and fair skin. I am still loving the results 18 months later! I would definitely return for additional laser hair removal services.

Me and my boyfriend went here after being a little stressed and we both loved it. The inside is so nice, and was extremely relaxing. We loved that they didnt allow a lot of people in at once. we also did the massage and that was great also.

I do not recommend this place! People here are not courteous at all. And Julie is the worst. I arrived 5 min late and she canceled my appointment. However they charged me 100% for my facial. The only thing they care about is their money.

Love Lapiel! Very welcoming environment (and trans-friendly) with caring people. I had multiple series of full face and lip/chin laser hair removal treatments and was very satisfied with the results. I was initially terrified of laser hair removal on my face, but Catalina was great from the consultation through each session and consistently walked me through her honest (!) thoughts, expectations, and treatment approach. Ariana makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in and is the best. I highly recommend others stop in for a consultation. I look forward to come back for other treatments!

My dermalinfusion with Olivia was amazing. Not only was it $70 cheaper than at my former dermatologist, and the process was excellent. The entire facility was beautiful!

I never thought I would go to a beauty clinic in my life, let alone write a review; but I felt compelled. My wife constantly complains about my nose hairs being too long. I trim them all the time but apparently not good enough... so I thought I would get them lazered off to appease her. Found this place because it is close to my work and let me tell you. Damn! I absolutely love Lapiel! They are very kind and welcoming people. I got a teen facial and was treated by Olivia. She was awesome and I thought she was great. After I got my facial i saw a huge difference. My skin felt smoother, and it treated my blackheads. I most definitely recommended Lapiel for treating your acne and break outs.

I just have to say the honesty here I really appreciate. No pushy salesy type people trying to make you spend more than you can afford. I loved my treatment and as an anxious person, Catalina really put me at ease. I also didnt feel like she was making me buy more than I needed - in fact, quite the opposite and so much so that I felt like I wanted to write a review. She explained to me that the pigment of my hair and skin was responding really well and I should wait to see how I liked the results before buying more treatments. This place has changed my life! Let me start by saying, I have had issues with my skin and acne for over a decade. After years and years of seeing dermatologists and harsh medicine, I found my way into Lapiel Laser Center. I see Olivia, who is INCREDIBLE! I cannot emphasize this enough. She makes me feel like a glowing unicorn every time I walk through the door, is always willing to talk me through the steps and explain why we are doing it. This is something I have always lacked in skin care, communication. I have been going for monthly peels for six months now and I have noticed a huge change in my skin and confidence. For years Ive battled with excessive ingrown hairs and scarring under my neck. I noticed it right after college and it gradually got worse. My mom took me to numerous dermatologists who gave me cremes, pills, all promising to stop the hair and to take away the scarring. False. Caitlina is so amazing at her job. I go to her for laser treatment of my arms. This was my first experience with laser and thus I was unsure and anxious. But she answered every question I had and gave me a good package too. Before every session she listens to my concerns and treat it accordingly. Olivia really came through for me this week. My skin was painfully breaking out with cystic acne and just when I was about to cave in and start picking, I decided to call Lapiel and see if they could fit me in.Olivia performed a dermalinfusion treatment followed by some gentle extractions to get all the junk out of my face and finished with a Jessner peel. I felt refreshed and glowy and my breakouts seemed to have magically deflated.Lapiel has been taking care of me for a couple years and Olivia has continued to make my skin the best it can possibly be!

I have been to different medspas before and Lapiel remains to be my favorite one. I have gotten treatments in the past from other laser center but did not see any difference...I came across lapiel laser center and thought to give it another try...Catolina has done a phenomenal job at explaining the whole procedure and she takes her time. During the treatment shes very gentle and make sure the treatment goes smoothly...so far I have done three treatments for lower half of my face..I cant believe my skin looks so much brighter and there is a massive decrease in my hair growth...I am very well satisfied with there service and highly recommend to anyone whose suffering from hirsutism....trust me there is a solution to every problem.

Since the start of winter, I had noticed that my face was terribly dry and that I was somehow reliving my acne problems (in my 30s)!I made an appointment for a Silkpeel and it accomplished exactly what I needed. I loved that the suction head removed all the dead skin and blackheads. Afterwards, I could definitely see that my face was much clearer.Olivia was wonderful and gave me helpful tips throughout (e.g., you need sunscreen even in winter!). Highly recommend!

I had terrible underarm ingrown hairs. I FINALLY decided I was too old for that nonsense and chose La Piel for laser hair removal. I wish I wouldnt have waited so long!!It was so easy- 6 15 minute treatments and honestly so painless (for me, anyway)I never have to think about shaving or my embarrassing ingrowns EVER AGAIN. Its been amazing for summer!Edit:Since getting my underarms done I have gone on to get my bikini line (less painful than underarms) and my belly button/ happy trail (very nice to not have to worry about in the summer) I’m planning to get my lower legs done next! Also, I have to say I now get most of my skincare from the Eminence line, which they sell at La Piel. If I’m having an issue (acne, seasonal dry skin, etc), Ariana will recommend an Eminence product to heal it. Right now I’m obsessed with their stone crop oil cleanser- the best makeup remover/ cleanser I’ve ever used. Their new acne mask I now use as a spot treatment, works great! They have a large selection of Eminence products at La Piel and all their items are organic and super clean. Drugstore products no more!!!

I got sunburned in Arizona which left sun spots on my chest and legs. Looked bad. Lapiel got rid of them brown spots. Through skin tightening and consultations my face and neck are aging much slower. There are non surgical laser treatments which help you look younger. Check into then at Lapiel.
