I would absolutely recommend InSkin Laser to someone. I purchased a Groupon for underarm hair removal. It was virtually painless. The worst part about the laser removal is probably that it smells a little bit like an old hair appliance.After the first treatment I had such good results that I will definitely be coming back here to do additional areas. I went to the Chicago/diversity location.
Really not sure how well my treatment was done. I got the co2 laser treatment finished here the same day after I received my forehead area at another location. My forehead from other place looks fine. But it’s been 5 weeks since my treatment, and the rest of my face that was treated here, still looks “hole-y”. I can still see the pixel marks on my skin and My scars actually look worse. I’m especially worried because the day of my treatment, two women worked on my face and the one was directing the other how to do it. I was not made aware of this prior or asked if this apparent “training session” was okay with me. I’m going to ask my previous dermatologist what she thinks about this. I don’t get an answer when I’ve tried calling here.
I give this place 5 stars bc the staff is extremely kind and they go out of there way to make sure you feel comfortable. I recently had my 2nd session for Brazilian laser and my hair is nearly nonexistent. I also had a chemical peel done here by Elizabeth she’s amazing ans really talked me through the process . I did come back in about 2 days later because I thought my skin was having a weird reaction rocio went over everything with me and reassured me that everything was fine and normal . A day or two later my skin was so soft and looked much better . I even called the other day to change my appointments and ask a question and Diana was so nice .They have great Groupon deals but only 1 is valid per client. Also make sure you bring cash to tip and The place is always very clean and you can normally find free parking .
I am so disappointed. At first, the customer service was great, but 8 weeks later I am completely dissatisfied not only with the fractional laser, but the correspondence has been one sided. I have scars all over my cheeks, forehead, chin, put it this way, ALL OVER MY FACE. I am very particular and have had 4 fractional lasers done before. I have always had great results until NOW! My face is my best assest and it is all scared with dark pigmentations of the laser marks. You can see them very well and I have been using Dermologica the creams they recommended when I received the services. I sent them an email weeks ago they responded and wanted pics. I sent at least 10-15 pics. Rocio said she was going to talk with the doctor there and I have yet to get a response. Summer is coming and I have to deal with this ugly face. Im so upset and I would never recommend this place to anyone. I hope they do something about this, I will let you know what happens.
I have had a few treatments at inSkin. To be fair, the technician is nice. The technology used for the laser hair removal treatment is not the most effective available in the market, but you get what you pay for. I learned these details after I booked by procedures. So, to this extent, the results are medium, but I also paid cheap, so I cannot complain. Some might consider paying a little more for better results. I am happy with my groupon deal considering cost benefit. I do not recommend paying full-price unless they change the type of lase technology.What I am not satisfied with is that there is no flexibility with the cancellation fee and you have no access to customer service. Yes, I signed a paper where I agreed to the policy. But life happens and as part of good customer service, you manage exceptions. I explained I tried to call earlier, when I received their very nice friendly reminder. However, the international call did not go through. I was late by 35 minutes after my deadline. I decide to post the online review when I was told I could not call or email the doctor who makes the rules because “she does not talk to patients. She only takes appointments at $100”. This is 2019, when customer service might be what differentiates one supplier from another. If I had been able to communicate with management and they said no, I would not be as disappointed as I am with paying a cancellation fee.Small details but probably will not affect other customers as this may not happen often. If they change locations, you do not have the option to cancel your package.I am debating whether I will go back to finish the last treatment on my package. However, rather than buying new treatments at a regular price, I might consider trying another place via Groupon.
