Never have I encountered the most inefficient, Incompetent, Worthless Tax Payed Company in my life. They are NEVER on time, They Always have excuses. The drivers Lie, very slow. If you need a ride from them, schedule for 5 hours prior to when you nee to be picked up and Pray that they show up 5 hours later. You call and complain, the call center takes the complaint. They speak with their staff and that is it. Our taxes are paying these businesses Millions of Dollars. The Top folks are making upwards of $250K in salary per year. Youd think theyd run efficiently.

I Would Like To Start Off By Saying Out Of All The Companies That Work For Pace This Is The WORST! They Are Way Worser Than SCR. When I First Started I Knew I Wouldnt Be There For Long Due To The Unproffessional Trainers. The Whole Time They Talked About How Theyre Pay Was Cut Short And Since National Express Took Over And Juat Started Making Changes It Was Too Much For The H.R Woman And How She Was Planning On Quitting. I IMMEDIATELY Knew This Was Not The Company For Me. Training Was Horrible The Trainers Expected You To Know The Streets And Talked Down On You When You Didnt Know How To Get To A Certain Address As If They Learned These Things Over Night. The Whole Time We Was Training We Had To Drive While They Sat Back Talked And Laughed About R.Kelly So Much Profanity I Was Disgusted Because I Felt Like They Were Old Enough To Be My Father. Training Was Over We Had To Wait Home (UNPAID) Until We Were Approved By Pace. I Recieved NO Phone Calls Reassuring Me That They Are Just Waiting And Thanking Me For My Patience. Pay Day Came They Didnt Have My Check. I Went Up There And They Was Basically Playing The Blame Game Saying Its Not CDTs Fault Its National Express Fault Since They Took Over Everybody Pay Been Messed Up. They Stated I Will Not Be Paid Unless Pace Approve Me I Didnt Understand That One Bit! So Basically I Was In Training For Free. I Flipped Out! They Finally Wrote Me A Check The Following Week Which Was 200 Short. The Lord Knows This Company Is A Wreck Unprofessional At Its Best. Pace Needs To Take Theyre Contract IMMEDIATELY‼️‼️ I Am Officially Done With The Companies That Have Contracts With Pace. I Pray The Good Lord Bless Me With A Career This Year I Know Its Coming I Been Through Hell With The Past Companies I Worked For I Deserve It.
I have never encountered an organization that cares less about its reputation or the community in which it operates. Apparently the employees of CDT are of the mind that parking in the middle of the only sidewalk is totally acceptable. And have thought so for years (look at the Google Maps / Earth pictures dating back for the past 3 years or so).No space on the sidewalk? Apparently parking in the middle of the crosswalk or TRIPLE parking in the middle of the street are perfectly acceptable alternatives to CDTs drivers. (I wish I was being sarcastic).My neighbors and I have asked the GM (Matt Lundgren) on numerous occasions to do something proactive about preventing his employees from breaking the law on a constant basis. I dont think anybody would disagree that asking people not to park in the middle of the sidewalk / street / crosswalk is an unreasonable ask. But the response that I have gotten from Matt Lungren in particular and CDT in general gives me the impression that they dont care.When I met with Matt face-to-face to please ask him to do something; he was almost completely dismissive. He literally said, I dont see what the big deal is, well be out of here in January and some of these people have been here 30 years and dont know any better. He even told me that The City gave [them] permission to park their vehicles in the middle of Carroll Street. I spoke to Alderman Burnett, the higher-ups at the CDOT, and the head of the 12th Precinct CAPS office. They all told me that they have no idea what hes talking about and that those vehicles are definitely illegally parked.Weve called the police almost daily to come ticket these people (all CDT employees). But even with the CPD unjustly having to babysit CDT, nothing has changed.The lack of oversight is so gross at CDT and National Express that one of their employees was bold enough to give me the finger on my walk to work. I reported in to Mark Foster (the COO of National Express). He told me he would take care of it. Lo and behold, that same employee is out there again this morning. (What kind of company lets somebody who does something like that in their uniform, at their job, keep their position with the organization?)Their employees throw their food waste, empty beer cans, and other garbage in the middle of the road.CDT is a subcontractor of PACE and a subsidiary of National Express Transit. PACE cant really do anything about it because these arent technically their employees. And Ive yet to see any tangible results on the part of National Express.But you dont have to take my word on any of this. I bet you that if you were to walk or drive by their office right now, youd see the same $h!t going on right now. The incompetence and ignorance of these people would be laughable if it wasnt so infuriating.
Mixed feelings about CDT. USED TO be number one in paratransit seevice in the Midwest. Overall, though SCR has improved, with the exception of the young women at CDT who act as if they hate picking up persons in wheelchairs and those who hang up without taking orders or clown on the phone or pver the air, I still prefer CDT.
Its a job that pays really good money... more then most in this field 🙂
I applied for an application here and I was told I would receive a call back but never did. I was at least expecting them to acknowledged that they even reviewed it but nothing.
THE DISPATCHERS AT CDT ARE YOUNG AND THEY DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT CORRDIATING THE TRIPS, PLUS, THE DISPATCHERS DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION WITH THE DRIVER AND ITS ISNT A GOOD LOOK, THEY CAUSED ME TO BE LATE FOR MY DOCTORS APPT ON OCT 5 AND WAS ALMOST LATE FOR WORK, I WILL BE SPEAKING W/AN ATTORNEY!

I use to work for this company great place to be when Maurice was the supervisor however when Myron got Maurice job me of all people was fired why because I was on a run and a ex boyfriend of mines that wasn’t too happy about the recent break up attacked me knocking 1 of my front teeth out Myron told me flat out that he didn’t believe me for whatever reason when clearly I had all my teeth at the beginning of the shift and during my shift I didn’t he terminated me for going through a domestic situation

Applied for a position here and got hired. The catch is for 3 weeks during training the employees are paid 10.00 an hour while the minimum wage in the city of Chicago is 12.00. I’ve contacted the BBB.
This place will work you all 12 hours of your shift and breaks are only 20min.
