I purchased a townhouse which had polished concrete radiant heat floors. Although I liked the crisp look of the concrete flush against the baseboards, I decided to install flooring. I did not want to lose the crisp look by adding quarter round trim I asked them to get as close to the baseboards as possible and not install trim. They warned me that the boards may look sloppy, but to my surprise, they cut and installed every board precisely and perfectly flush with the baseboards. No quarter round trim needed. These guys are young, but they are talented in their craft and take MUCH pride in their work.
