I used Rovins Flooring to replace part of my hardwood flooring and then refinish my entire apartment. Adrian was very responsive and professional and helped me come up with a good solution for my budget. The installers did an unbelievable job and it looks amazing.

Rovins was AMAZING. We got quotes from a few companies and their price was by far the best, and I felt confident choosing them as a friend had used them for two flooring projects and had great things to say. They were PROMPT (like showing up literally at 8 a.m. when they say 8 a.m.) every day, super polite and clean, and were quick and thorough. We had carpets ripped out upstairs and flooring installed and stained. The final product looks UH MAZING and they David and his dad were phenomenal. The ONLY small faults I found- theres a small blemish we found on the stairs where the varnish or finish kinda pooled so you can see a weird wet spot and I wish they had done a quick sweep of our front porch (theres some remnant dust/dirt from them taking some of the debris out). Cant recommend highly enough.

We called for a quote and someone came the next day to provide a quote for the work we required. Soon after we accepted the quote we set up an appointment. On the day of the appointment two workers arrived timely and got right to work. They were very professional and courteous. Work was completed on schedule and our floor is beautiful. The results were similar to the previous work, but not only was the refinishing job great, but they also matched the color of my existing floors. They do excellent work.4/2018 My refinished floors look amazing. Adrian and his crew did a great job. They went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and were very patient with me. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I nearly cried when I walked into my condo. The floors looked better than I could have ever imagined. They are miracle workers, and also fast, responsive and affordable. Highly recommend.

I hired Rovins to refinish all three levels in my house. The job had to be done in two phases due to other projects in the house. Rovin accommodated my schedule with no issues. Owner/manager Adrian was very responsive and could be easily reached via email or phone call. The crew always showed up on time and finished the job within the agreed-upon time frame. When I requested touch-ups, Adrian had no trouble sending the crew back immediately to fix minor issues. My 20-year old oak floor now looks brand new.

There isnt much I can say, here, that hasnt already been said. Rovins was consistently my lowest bid for flooring, and yet still did a fantastic job on the flooring.This was especially impressive given that:1) I was away for almost the entire installation process. Most subs would treat this as a vacation (and license to do a poor job), but Rovins stayed in contact the entire time, and still clearly maintained the level of quality that I would expect from all of these reviews.2) My subfloors were uneven concrete poured a century ago. Im not sure how they did it, but Rovins managed to give me near-level floors with no need to level the concrete. I dont even want to think about how much this would have cost, otherwise.In short: get other quotes if you want, but you wont likely find a better price in the city. And, somehow, you dont sacrifice on quality in any way.

We asked them to stain the floors dark and they didnt. They then called my husband a liar and told him that they werent going to fix it. There are dark marks in the floors that they lacquered over. IT LOOKS HORRIBLE! Do not choose this company for your floors!

I recently purchased a new home and hired Rovins to install new hardwood floors throughout. Greg and his crew did an outstanding job on my floors. They were extremely professional and detailed. They went above and beyond to make sure my floors looked perfect. I really appreciate Rovins hard work and attention to detail.

I contacted Rovins Flooring about the poor shape of the floors of a unit I closed on recently. I wasnt sure about whether to refinish, or to replace. They sent Adrian out to make measurements, and although they would have probably made more money by replacing the floors, he advised me to refinish. This was as opposed to a competitor, who told me there was no way refinishing the floor would make it look good again.I ended up deciding to go forward with Rovins because of the good reviews and what I felt to be honest advice from Adrian. Their crew came in and finished the job in one day, and left the place overall pretty clean. I was pleased with the quality (see before & after photos below) of the work and how clean they left my unit, and the fact that they obeyed all of the rules and regulations of my HOA so I did not get any neighbor complaints. The price was reasonable in light of competing prices for the same job.

Rovins was a great choice for our project. They were very professional from start to finish. Adrian came by twice before he even had the job to give me a quote and answer all my questions. The installers were good at giving me updates and easing my concerns. They did great work with a very difficult job (they had to remove 1200 square feet of very old creaky floors in and around cabinets, tile, and built-ins) and finished right on time per the original expectation. Had carpet in three bedrooms replaced with red oak strip to match wood in main area. Had main area refinished and all stained dark walnut. Absolutely beautiful-- all the floors look newly and perfectly installed, even where the main floor was refinished around existing cabinets and appliances. Easy to contact and responsive communications with the manager Adrian and the crew were courteous and professional. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking floor installation or refinishing.

Greg and his team did a fine job both refinishing one floor and installing a new floor. They even fixed some floor areas that had been poorly done by a previous flooring company. Greg also personally came back and fixed a couple of minor blemishes in a timely way. My thanks to the whole team for their competence and care.

I cannot recommend these people. They were willing to leave a shoddy job and and did leave a shoddy job, in places - some of the work was OK. In addition, they left a mess in our house and some of their workers were less than pleasant. There are better companies out there and we will now have to hire one to try to fix the mess left behind.

Were able to get the work done in just two days. the super dark stain color came out just like I wanted. I love my redone floors now.

My son found Rovins on the web when we decided to replace the carpet in his room with hardwood flooring. I was amazed at how quickly the project went from start to finish. Adrian came out asap to measure and provide an estimate. They were able to start the job as soon as I said we could move forward. They estimated two days, but were able to put three men on the job and they completed it in one day. The flooring Rovins installed matches the rest of the wood (in the hallway) perfectly. Communications were excellent. We could not be happier.

Had an outstanding experience with Rovins earlier this year. We purchased a condo in a building that is 100+ years old, and the hardwood floors looked terrible - all worn out, and scratched. The floors in one of the bedrooms were completely deteriorated and needed replaced. Adrian was immediately available to stop by and offered us 3 separate quotes along with several consultations about what needed done, all free of charge. Scheduling the actual repair was similarly quick (within 1 week of request!). The repairs took less than 3 days for a huge two bedroom apartment, and ended up costing a bit less than the quote. The repairmen were all very courteous and respectful. Most important of all, the floors look brand new! Since the purchase I have had to deal with several different contractors and Rovins have been by far the best. Highly recommended.

We love our new floors! Rovin was very fast and efficient in coming in to do an estimate. They were available to start right away, and completed the work within a week. Everything looks great in our home and we are getting them to come back to refinish another portion. They are also great with flexibility in terms of breaking up a big project into small pieces so you can pick and choose depending on your time-frame and budget. Highly recommended.

What a top notch company!! From their response to receive an estimate to the finish product, these people are professionals. I live in a high rise and it was difficult to find a company that would work in the building. Adrian provided good advice, helped me decide on a sand-able engineered hard wood flooring product. I could not be happier with my flooring. Greg the installer was fantastic to work with, and what impressed me the most was his attention to detail and the cleanliness of my home during a construction project. The job took two weeks and we had to leave the apartment. Every night when I would stop by, I could not believe how clean the place was kept, sure there was a little dust, but he did a nice job. I would not go anywhere else. Rovins gets an A++++ in my book.

I contacted Rovins about their refinishing service. Adrien was at my place the following morning, on time, and I had a written quotation that afternoon. They are serious about customer service and that is a BIG thing to me. I removed everything from my living room and dining rooms. I have original parquet floors that were installed in 1974. There was a lot of wear and tear, stains and water marks at the patio door. I expected the sanding to remove a lot of the wear but to my amazement, the entire floor looks brand new - i mean no stains, no water marks - nothing! They were in and out in one day. Since I was out of town it worked perfectly to allow the sealers to sit for 3 days before I got back. I opened my front door and my mouth fell open.. a beautiful job and the cost was extremely reasonable. I put up a note on my lobby bulletin board recommending Rovins to my neighbors and I highly recommend them to anyone reading this.

I called Rovins based on reviews I read on Yelp and Google and I was not disappointed! They did an amazing job refinishing some very old hardwood floors. After getting the keys to our first home the next order of business was getting our floors redone. Through the magic of Yelp I found Rovin’s! I contacted them on Sat. June 9 & Adrian was able to come out on Wed. June 13. We needed to get our floors redone as there was some water damage, discoloration and a ton of scratches! What we wanted to know was whether the floors could be refinished to smooth out the bumps caused by the water or if we would have to replace the floors altogether. Adrian assured us that after sanding the floors down the bumps would be smoothed out and we wouldn’t be able to feel/notice them-and he was right! We appreciated his honesty and the excellent customer service that was provided to us from the get go by both Julie + Adrian that we decided to go with Rovin’s. We were able to get our floors redone WAY quicker than we expected! From our first initial email to the crew finishing it took a total of 2 weeks to get everything done and considering it’s summer & everyone else we contacted said they couldn’t get to us until mid July-that’s extremely impressive! The crew was nothing short of amazing! They left the place so clean that it didn’t even seem like anyone was ever there! I absolutely love our floors! The workers and the owner were great, very accommodating, answered all my questions, patient and communicate with me through the entire process to make sure we are on the same page. Great job!

This is a review as a neighbor in a 6 unit condo building of a recent project. The smell was SO pungent due to improper/lack of ventilation by Rovins employees that our unit smelled for 5 or 6 days with an overwhelming, harsh chemical scent after they stained and finished the unit below that our newborn child had to breathe in and also burned my wifes throat. I was told that they used a finish that was completely harmless- false. It clearly states on the information of the stain/seal that is a class 3 hazardous material. I was also told that the smell would go away after 24 hours- FALSE. I contacted Adrian and the unit owner about ventilating the unit and why this wasnt done properly, since Ive had my floors redone and know plenty of others who have had it done with proper ventilation taken (even in humid whether) -which was a poor excuse that was used. Adrian said they were just doing their job, I think doing your job is also contacting neighbors about the potential risk and smell- ALONG WITH PROPER VENTING procedures. Clearly this company put neighbors of the unit at health risk

Ive used Rovin twice now. Once to do a buff/coat and once for a sand/stain/coat. Both times it was really easy to schedule and the floors look great.I wouldnt hesitate at using them in the future.

If you get bids from other companies be sure they will install the same quality of wood as Rovins. The next time I need flooring work done, Rovins Flooring will be my vendor of choice.
