This is my last time coming here. Gave them plenty of chances. First, customer service is horrible; they don’t greet nor make customers a priority here. Had the $19 service, but my window remained dirty, driver side mirror had stains, dirty cup holder, and dust and dirt everywhere. Seemed like they did an express job on short time. fyi It was all cleanable, cleaned it when I got home. Check your car before you leave, but might be there 20 minutes explaining to them what to clean. Stay away from this place. HORRIBLE ALL AROUND!!

I was waiting in line to get my car serviced by Hollywood Hand Carwash. There is a line that wraps around the establishment. At the time when I was visiting I was cut in line by another vehicle and the owner told me to wait another 30 minutes because the person in the other vehicle who cut me complained to the owner that I cut the line. He thought he was being fair, but there was a better way to handle this situation. I am a local and I would HIGHLY recommend not to support this establishment due to the way I treated like a second class citizen. Theyre ok, its just i have custom chrome wheels, and theyre never really clean! They look clean, once they dry when i get home, i always have to clean them again!

They do a nice job. Your going to wait an hour to get you car washed.. this place really needs to hire some staff.

They did a very nice job inside and out. If you come early enough in the day you can be done by the evening too. Highly recommended

They don’t offer interior shampoo as advertised and you still have to wait to drive your car out. There was no point in getting my car washed if I was going to have to go elsewhere for an interior shampoo.I have a beetle, they easily could have helped me get out (There was a spot I could have easily gone thru if they had just moved one car up once they were ready) but instead, they acted as if they were leading me out, trapped me further into the line, and than had me wait until they finished all the cars ahead of me.

The workers that cleaned the outside of my car did a great job! But when it nears the exit and the workers that are responsible for cleaning the inside...they could do a better job. I found areas they didnt clean thoroughly. I suggest you check the inside before leaving.

While the service I received was quick and did an excellent job cleaning my car inside and out, customer service could need some improvement. Lady in the cash register & staff seemed to be annoyed maybe due to the fact I came in like 40 minutes before closing time. (They stop taking cars by 6:40pm and close at 7pm. I arrived like at 6:20pm.) Only reason I visited was that this the only hand car wash open till 7pm. Maybe my last visit as well. But overall, fast, great job on keeping my car cleaned but not so well-mannered employees. 3 Stars.

The absolute most horrible service ever, this is my third time going to them. They I paid 32 bucks, my windows were still dirty, na dthey never touched the third row seat or they didnt vacuum the floor, ill never return horrible horrible service and lack of costumer service

I use to come here when the service was good. Sadly to say it’s gone down hill. Service is definitely not what it use to be especially for the price!I just got home and decided to share a few photos. In my opinion it was a very poor job. I paid for a FULL SERVICE for a SUV tire dressing, and wax. I was told everything gets sprayed down with windex on the inside and wiped, plus would be vacuumed. As I watched one worker get to the window cleaning on the inside I noticed he only sprayed the windshield and used the same towel to wipe down the rest of the windows. The rest of the windows were not sprayed clean. The cup holders were not wiped down. Poorly cleaned dash,door panels not wiped, around doors was also poorly clean on the inside. The outside of my vehicle was poorly cleaned at the bottom. Upon leaving I had to request they re-vacuum certain areas of my vehicle. All of that and I was over charged!Overall the service isn’t what it use to be. Keeping in mind times can be rush rush but if everyone took their time to do the job right the first time there would be more happy SATISFIED customers.

This place is more interested in getting as many cars in and out as possible. They dont pay attention to detail. They have no one supervising to make sure things are being done correctly. Its to many people working here for me to be disappointed every time.

I love the wash and the way my looks when their done. But wait and take a closer look. EVERY time I visit when I leave, get out the car, go to get back in the car I see something so obvious that I should have noticed before I left. Last visit, tire rims were half cleaned look like a job a kid would doJust take a closer look before you leave.

They used to be very thorough. Now they are about quantity and the quality of service is very poor. The owner/manager is rude rude rude.

Imagine waiting 45 minutes in line for a subpar wash only to be told your car was turned in the wrong direction (to avoid blocking the street) and now you must get out of line...First off, you’d think this place would be efficient due to the numerous fast washers...WRONG! The insufficient interior lighting WILL NOT provide an accurate visual on the cleanliness of your vehicle. It’s not until you’re driving outside into the sun that you are able to spot the imperfections in their work. Water stains and missed spots are typical here...I also believe that it is problematic for them to allow a customer to actually wait 30/40 minutes in line, only to tell them they cannot be serviced due to some unknown line discrepancy when it’s their turn. That’s unprofessional and very disrespectful to waste someone’s time when the discrepancy could have been shared earlier.

Hollywood Hand Car Wash ruined my car. I took a brand new Kia Optima to them to be detailedAfter they finished, my brand new, black Kia Optima was returned to me with numerous scratches on it.Swirls are to be expected, but not SCRATCHES.Many scratches. Multiple scratches...Not only that, BOTH tires on the right side of the vehicle were not cleaned.They were still muddy, and had not been cleaned or conditioned.I took the car back, and got straight attitude from the manager.He admitted that the cloths that the use to dry vehicles has DUST particles in them. He admitted that there is ton of DUST in the air, inside old building where they are located.Be warned. Do NOT take your vehicle to Hollywood Hand Car Scratch and Destroy Auto Spa.You have been warned!

This is the last time that I go to this place all the time that I came back I think that the service improved but this is the second time that I have to come back to complain about the service they didnt vacuum properly neither whipped down good inside my car I absolutely not recommend this place. I got my car washed here and they chipped my paint on my car. I didn’t notice it until I got home I called spoken to the manager and she tells me it didn’t happen here all I want is money and hung up on me.

Paid for $19 service plus got charged $4 more to clean one mat. Get home and checked car still wet not dried correctly, still has some dirty spots, carpet not cleaned well and one tire not cleaned well. I called and spoke with Marisol she said she was the only one in charge at the time and said no mangers will be available to speak to them until next week 🤦🏻‍♀️

Very unhappy with this experience. Hollywood closes at 7pm. After waiting inking since 615p they close the doors at 645p and dont allow anymore cars inside. I thought that was very unprofessional and it was enough for me to take my business some where else.

They did a great job knocking the dust and dirt off of the familys chariot. The system they use works well, no matter if you just want a quick fix or the top to bottom super shine! The line around the block says lots about their quality and loyal customers. Try the foam wash, youll be back for the works!

It was my first time there, before I went I was reading reviews but I am not one of those people that goes based on what others think. Everyone has a different experience, different taste.... at the end of my visit, I was a satisfied customer. My car looks really good, inside and out. I was aware of the condition of the inside of my car and kinda thought they wouldnt be able to get as clean as they did. I am very satisfied with their work. I will return for sure.

Interior/exterior wash. Talk about lazy. Glass still foggy and water stains all over door panels and dash. Wasn’t even busy, pulled right in and at least 5 employees waiting for work. Tire shine all on my rims. Wanted my tip back.

It was very cold on the day I took my vehicle in to be hand washed. I paid $22 for a outside wash with tire shine and what I received was a partly washed vehicle that I had to stand out in the cold to partly dry myself and no tire shine. That defeated the whole reason I went there. Everyone was nice but no attention to detail, I wont be returning.

Ive been going here for years just recently moved to Palos Park. When Im in town I still get my car washed there. Today will be the last time though. I decided to get my car washed there today and one of their guys put a scratch and a small dent on drivers door. Usually when you make a mistake you fix it. Not them they denied it left and right. The manager told me if I could make that scratch and dent and prove that it was them they would pay for it. Are you serious? Guess Im going to have to take action and hire a lawyer.

Don’t waste your money on the interior cleaning. They returned my car to me with wrappers still in the door and the backseat center cup holder never pulled down and cleaned. I don’t think they use a wet cloth to wipe interior leather as mine was still specked with dust and foot marks.Exterior cleaning was acceptable.

They left a couple of dust spots this time.

Look for Hector, he is really the man! friendly and very professional. He made sure EVERYTHING was clean and spotless!

Immensely disappointed! Ive been going here for many years. I seem to never have an issue unless the owners daughter is behind the counter. 100% unprofessional, zero customer service skill set. She lacks education on her own packages and doesnt understand the basic principle of taking care of your customers. I paid $30 for a premium wash! They didnt vacuum my trunk, the mats werent lifted in the car, the back of the seats werent wiped down or the doors they forgot the tire shine. Its all because she failed to communicate with the staff what I paid for! When I called an hour later she told me it was too late that I shouldve noticed before I left. Dont waste your money here!

Went there with my cousin and he got a regular car wash. When it was done, there were smudges all over the place. Last I checked, thats not supposed to be there when you go get a car wash. An automatic machine did a better job.

If I could give them a no star I would. I should have read all these reviews beforehand. This is the worst car wash Ive ever been to. They stole my cell phone out of my car. I reported it to the manager and he lied saying this never happened in his car wash. I found out later that it had happened on several occasions where the police got involved. We traced the phone down from Look out security and managed to see the guy coming out his house. And my goodness it was the same guy that washed my car that week. They dont wash cars well and they are rude and they all are liars. Be careful. They are too over priced and again rude, and very arrogant! Ill never go back there.

Great car wash I always come to this place. Today as I was leaving I noticed they cracked the mirror on the side view mirror. First time this happens. Brought my car back to show him what had happened. He said it would be impossible for his guys to do that. Never again will I come to this car wash.

This was horrible they charged $24 it wasnt a hand car wash my car was still dirty I had to fuss for them to even wipe the lil dirt off and they charged an extra $5 for my windows to get the numbers off from the pound and they didnt even get them cleaned. Highly upset and wouldnt recommend never.

I love getting here early during the week and getting the full service for $16. They clean my weather techs so good.

For the price they charge I can recommend their standard interior exterieur cleaning. Ive been using them for 2 years and they usually do OK. As far as any of the extra services say offer They do not stand behind the less than half ass work they perform. I felt ripped off by this company on more than one occasion but this is the last time which is unfortunate because they are very convenient to my house.

I get home to discover theres dirt still on my dash, center console and fries between the seat. You got me today, you wont get me again.

After the wash my interior was dirty and the floors were not vacuumed. They didnt clean the console or radio face, they just wiped it causing scratches on the face. The door jams on the driver side were cleaned, but the passenger side untouched....gas cap area untouched. I will never use Hollywood again.Ive used them for the better part of three years, but it seems about 9 months ago things changed. The owner went from focusing on details to focusing on numbers. They used to get the little things and made your car look new, now they just want your money and you out of there.

Not happy with the owner & lady behind the counter(owners daughter I believe) Their customer service was just unprofessional. I just had my car cleaned inside and out and there were a few spots I noticed after wash. So I went back a few hours later and they wouldn’t re-wash my car. They told me that it was going to be $100 to get a few “tree wax” spots off my car because they will not come off with just a wash. I mean $100 is over priced for about 5 very small spots. Also inside wasn’t cleaned very well. I went during a slow time and I felt like they rushed. I’ve been a regular customer for almost 1 year & never had an issue. I will be finding a new carwash

Good but not great they get the job done though but if youre like me and have a black car I wouldnt visit too often I mostly go there in the winter on the really cold days its a good car wash if you have a white or silver car my black paint is soft so I usually notice the little small scratches after a wash not bad scratches but little hairline swirls but only noticeable in the direct sunlight but I fix them with some polish and wax when I hand wash it myself the problem with them are they use dirty towels probably the same wash mitts and dry towels from a lot of other dirty cars throughout the day I recently went in there cause the line was surprisingly short and I was feeling lazy but Ill still use them its convenient but only in the winter
