Very friendly service. Great time with my family. This was the 3rd time and it is not the last one for sure. It is the most amazing experience we can have in our own wonderful city. We did it at night, evening and at sunset. Every one of those were more then just amazing!!! We recommended for sure.

Absolutely wonderful experience and the best way to spend a Sunday! It was super simple to book online and park/find the location. My friends were in town for the weekend and we were all able to have a private experience on the water and have some delicious pizza provided by Rich and Christina. We also ordered ahead and grabbed some seafood from Lawrences for the ride, the shrimp was so good! Ive done the architecture tour a few times but for a similar price this was by far a way better experience. In the two hours we were able to see both routes, but I would highly recommend going past the river walk as the sights were gorgeous. Great customer service, amazing views, great music and tons of spectacular photos! A must do Chicago experience!

Great experience! Wonderful way to spend a few hours enjoying a view of the city. I have kayaked the river and been on a few of the guided tours in the past but with this experience I really enjoyed being able to kick back and enjoy the city at our own pace with our family. The team at BBQ Pontoon were fantastic and their focus on customer service is what stood out for our family the most. Good location and parking, clear instructions, friendly team, super clean boats, and ran on schedule. Severe thunderstorms impacted our event and they were were very accommodating regarding rebooking (which we ended up doing a few hours later) as their focus was on ensuring a great experience for our family. Liked being able to bring our own cooler and snacks aboard and the afternoon was enjoyable for all. Will definitely return due to the great customer experience and clean boats.

We had a blast. My husband and I took our two boys yesterday and had a wonderful time. The pontoon was clean and equipped with everything we needed. We were given a choose of cheese or pepperoni pizza before leaving the dock. There was no wait time which was great as we had our kids with us. The owner was friendly and the kids loved grilling the pizza on the pontoon boat ! If youre looking for a great outing on the Chicago River look no further this is your place to go ! Thanks again !!

Simply AWESOME! I would recommend the night time firework rental for anyone traveling to Chicago. The private boat ride gives a truly unique perspective of the city that just can’t be seen from the street. Our group of 6 said the boat rental was the highlight of our trip!

Great time on the river with BBQ Ponton. Nice and helpful customer service, the pontoon was easy super fun to ride, and it was very clean. We had two hours which was plenty to go around the Goose Island, then downtown close to the Lake and be back on time. The pizza grill was fun, they gave us the guide to use it plus the pizza! Highly recommended! Definitely will be back.

We had an amazing time on our BBQ Pontoon trip. We went out in the early evening, and it was beautiful. The boat was very nice and easy to operate after the brief instructions before launching. The 2-hour time slot was perfect--more than enough time to see the sites and explore the river. The approach into the city is quite striking and a short ride from the dock. The pizza oven on the boat is a fun touch. We enjoyed having hot food while cruising along the river.All of our communications and interactions with the owners were easy and straightforward. I would strongly recommend BBQ Pontoon as an alternative to the big boat Architecture Tour. It is fun and easy to captain your own boat with friends!

Unbelievable customer service & awesome time on the boat. We started our journey at 2:15pm on the 16 foot pontoon and it started raining 20 minutes in. They offered us a full refund to come back & make aure we had a good experience. We ended up coming back for the 4:30 when it cleared up and had an amazing time2 hours seemed short at first but truely is the perfect time. Cruise all the way out to the lake & then up to goose island. Then back in plenty of timeLocation was extremely clean & parking was easy. Definitely the best boring option in chicago - free pizza is a nice touche too

Rented a pontoon for my birthday weekend and we had an amazing time!! The instructor explained the instructions very well, it came with a map and having a Bluetooth was awesome. The boat was very clean and the pizza was better than I expected. As long as your on time for orientation, return the boat back on time and follow the rules everything should be fine.It was nice to have an opportunity to do something like this, Ive never driven a boat before. We will definitely be returning before the season ends. The sight seeing was very incredible I wish I had found out about this sooner!! I dont know why anyone would give this any less than 5 stars.

Definitely an unforgettable experience. My family and I had an amazing time. We loved everything about it. It takes dinner with a view on a whole other level. The boat was easier to drive than I expected. Rich was very helpful from the moment we saw him and explained everything to us. I highly recommend anyone to try them out and will definitely be going back!

I highly recommend renting a pontoon boat from BBQ Pontoon! The boat was new, very comfortable and you could even play your own music. The 2 hour trip was a perfect amount of time to cruise to downtown and the lock heading to the lake and briefly see Goose Island. The owners were great and explained everything we needed to know. We had a great time!

Cannot say enough positive things about our boat trip through BBQ Pontoon. Easy to find and get on the boat, great customer service, nice newer boat, and a free pizza! Only negative I can think is currently there is a 4 adult limit, but that is obviously not their fault.Will definitely be going back.

There is only truly one way to see and feel our Majestic City in the summer! We rented a boat from #BBQPontoon.com and sailed down the river to the most spectacular sights. We were even invited to bake a pizza right on the boat, but this time, we opted to get some yummy shrimp a the Lawrences, right by the dock. This is a Chicago must! We loved every minute and will be back for sure!

The Covid 19 restriction is understandable to have only a certain amount of people but for you say only this many kids or adult on a boat doesn’t make sense to me. This is the first company that I’ve heard set in place such a rule. I have 3 kids and it would of been nice to be able to enjoy this activity.

My friends and I decided to book a pontoon last minute over 4th of July weekend and we were so impressed with BBQ Pontoon. The dock is easy to find, the owners were so knowledgeable and friendly and answered all of our questions, the boast was top notch and of course, the pizza was great! Great service. My fiancée surprised me with a pontoon boat ride on the Chicago River. The service was great and the pizza was awesome. I could not recommend them more. Just what I needed during the COVID-19 pandemic. They sanitize everything. Very safe. I look forward to taking one of their boats out again. And yes, their boats have governors on them to mitigate the speed. There is nothing wrong with this. Safety over speed at all times.

Over all good- excellent flavor, well seasoned, decent amount of spice - bun was warm and fresh. over all good. Coleslaw was seasoned good. but service was polite and speedy. Over all good quick stop for bbq on the go.
